happened why are we celebrating
something amazing well I mean normally I
don’t need a reason to celebrate with a
bottle of bubbly and a blow-up unicorn
but we did have something exciting
happen yesterday at 4:12 a.m. in the
morning and no dirty minded people it
wasn’t that it was awakened 4:12 I got a
message on boxer at 4:12 a.m. which is
kind of creepy which is 2 a.m. your time
so you were just going to bed so we
yesterday Russell and I hit the 10
million dollar mark for funnel scripts
what dude you’re not going to open that
near your computer are you a lot of
drinks I don’t know how this works
oh my fake water champagne do not hold
that near the computer there’s not a
cork on this so does the same impact to
try it busy a can of pop whatever shake
it up rogue and open these things
together close there’s only about a
hundred grand worth of electronic
equipment in that office go ahead all
right
ok nervous so how many guards camp ok so
we’re also pretty focused past 10
million dollars this weekend sales yay
all right I’m ready exploded hey I don’t
like fizzy water if I’m gonna drink
anyway alright this is hell this is like
mine oh my god is the worst yeah
congratulations everybody
congratulations and thank you to
everybody it was a team effort
absolutely a team effort every
supportive photo scripture last few
years it’s good now I want to talk about
something that I’m mocking didn’t know
but yes may notice how clean shaven and
beautiful gym looks today
so when did this whole bet sir I can’t
write what
always like 14 months ago on a funnel
Friday jig hey dude I know you’re trying
to get the 10 million dollar award and I
was like yeah he said well hey you gonna
not shaving that beard till you get
there huh and I was like yeah yeah
that’s great yeah we can do it and in
the spirit of funnel Friday’s yeah and
then and then I’m like I’m gonna have to
grow a cat on my face which he did yeah
I’ll see ya I looked over to the
Facebook live yesterday are you cutting
it yep
all right here it is you guys to see
what happened yesterday after after we
passed the 10 million dollar more about
to witness the trimming of the 10
million dollar beer so here’s the story
about a year ago Russell Brunson said to
me hey man you’re gonna not cut that
beard until you hit the 10 million
dollar mark with funnel scripts and in
the moment he asked me this on funnel
foam Fridays I was like yeah man I sure
will do it and then after I said it I
was like dang I’m not going to be able
to shave this Muskrat first a while so
I’ve been busting butt to get it over
the 10 million dollar mark we got it
over the 10 million dollar mark so are
you going to trim this thing because I’m
tired of having this big hobo beard on
my face and so here we go

I could get a second job shearing sheep
my wife’s laughing at me to turn it you
know you missed the spot huh oh man so
glad we captured this before ever there
you go there you go so there you go so I
was listening there’s a couple lessons
that help everybody learn from this
experiment so number one is lucky wise
and then let themselves off the hook
Jim was like all right I’m gonna set
something that’s gonna annoy me every
single baby itchy and long curly until I
hit the goal and then he went out there
it’s like I got it this cool so that’s
number one like if you guys are all
comfortable cuz you’re hitting your
goals like make something uncomfortable
like to finish up in pain so you have to
go and do it number two and he’s noticed
we didn’t like launch fun little strips
and then just like sit back last four
years waiting for people to buy it it
has been an intense labor of love
Jim’s consistently been increase in the
value adding more scripts adding more
things doing more things do more
training always increasing the value so
the price of final script seems cheaper
and cheaper and cheaper cheaper and then
we consistently talk about it right how
many final Friday’s is this episode like
would we outright a lot dear like we can
consistently talking about it week in
and week out and week in and week out I
think a lot of people they put the thing
up with oh I’m gonna be rich and then I
just sit in there wait and then it never
happens so they’re like you like learn
can I add one more thing to the lesson
yes you you got to have a vision for
what you’re doing and that vision is
gonna help to sustain you when other
people either don’t have the vision or
other people can’t catch the vision or
you’re the only one that believes that
it’s going to work I’m not saying that’s
what the situation was but you got to
have a vision and the stronger the
vision the bigger the vision the the
more you can do and without a vision and
there’s somewhere in the Bible it says
without a vision the people perish and
there you go so so thank you Russell and
team because it
it would not have happened without you
I’m grateful V man this has been your
vision from day one we first nested like
this is gonna be huge and then you’re
the one that put in the effort the work
you need to do is so beautiful P may
have an amazing partner and it’s just
fun to celebrate with yet we’ve got some
bubbly water whoo there you go and my
fake so on top of the top of celebrate
and say with you guys we also wanted to
have some fun because today we are we
are in the process admission a recording
this all right there we go we’re gonna
do a fun photo Friday stay and we’ve got
a new script we’re demoing I believe got
some other cool stuff and I’m pumped for
so you want to kind of talk about what
the plan is for today sure so one of the
things that we’ve been talking about and
it’s really resonating with people are
bridge pages and we did a training over
in the Avengers group where if you’re
not in the Avengers group you should be
in the Avengers group because there’s
some amazing stuff going on over there
and if you youtube search click levels
avengers it should pop up their
affiliate stranger absolutely and so
talking about bridge pages there are all
kinds of different ways you can use
bridge pages and we were showing how to
use funnel scripts to create bridge
pages and one of the things we told
people was you can do a demo and I’ve
always kind of taken things for granted
about doing a demo because I’ve done
thousands of demos over the years and
then something interesting happened this
is like gonna be a combination epiphany
Bridge story so if anything happened was
in the in the help desk
we got a question somebody had joined
funnel scripts and had bought Russell’s
network marketing secrets book and they
asked me will she do by the way
everybody she had this book and I’ll
tell you why so they were asking you
know which funnel scripts should they
use for which the funnels that Russell
talks about in there and I was able to
answer it pretty quickly but then I said
Russell’s got a network marketing
secrets book I haven’t read this book
can I get a copy of the book sure Jim
you can have a copy of the book they
sent me copy of the book and on page 39
I read something that changed my life
forever it’s actually on page 40 but it
starts on page 39
and it’s Russell talking about the demo
doing a demonstration in this case of
whatever product the network marketing
companies sell and I was like yeah that
makes sense
oh my god what’s this one thing in here
that he teaches the formula and this one
thing right here eliminate the
alternatives
I might my forehead was literally
getting flat and I think my beard got
three inches longer cuz I was pulling on
going oh my gosh oh my god oh my god
this is it this was the missing thing
and so I tried it out with with a couple
different demos and you know I’ve always
gotten really good results but then when
I did this was like boom through the
roof people were responding I would you
know the the it was like doubling the
response I was getting and I said
there’s something here and I need to do
this consistently and the best way to do
this is to create a script so that’s
what we did we created a script we
unveiled it this week on the funnel
scripts training for everybody and I
sensed on Tuesday when we unveiled it I
have overhauled the script again to make
it even cooler and so what I thought
we’d do is Russell real quick explained
everybody what a bridge pages and what
the purpose is of a bridge page why you
would use it and then we’ll explain why
this is so important and so helpful
because these are one of the coolest
tools and most misunderstood tools in
the internet world so there are times
and places when you want to sell
something over here and maybe you don’t
own this website so you aren’t affiliate
for this thing or it’s a network
marketing opportunities to the company
corporate website or something in like
you have no control over this this page
and so the only thing you have
controlling is the pretty frame that
somebody enters into this page width to
go back back here is something that we
call a bridge page a bridge page and so
bridge makes you drive traffic because
like a lot of times if you drive traffic
directly to this page the hits and this
bounces off because the patient convert
well
there’s a thousand fillies offering the
same page or there can be a million
different different reasons why just
driving traffic directly here doesn’t
work something hammer has never wanting
to let you do that directly if your
affiliate like and so the bridge page is
basically it’s it’s the thing in between
between your traffic and the thing
you’re trying to sell so for example
this and walking up on the street
and I see somebody I could just let’s
say Sam you know that put network
marking see curses from network marking
book right so let’s say I’m a network
marketing company I am selling this
fancy-pants bubbly water right I can
walk up to like somebody on the street
like here’s the order for him to buy the
water and right wait what is that it’s
the order for my son you want bubbly
water is really good like the lighter
than buying is not very good right
that’s the equivalent of sending
somebody directly bridge pays me kind of
like hey I got to tell you story this is
why as far as May this is what I like
about it slice off like you tell your
own story
you’re doing a product demo he’s got
citation I’ll just see how good and this
is amazing you do your product demo is
that you like the stuff cool go over
here to go buy it and then you push
somebody from there what to do the thing
over here so bridge page traditionally
is me or whoever doing some kind of demo
we call it in the network marketing
secrets book I call the Billy Mays demo
because he has never Billy Mays he was
like the OxiClean dude he was probably
the greatest pitchman of all time passed
away a couple years ago and I keep down
after he died I write him and his
pictures I watched like literally every
infomercial I can find of his and like
Billy Mays scripts based on like here’s
all the things Billy didn’t every single
it was infomercial mini it is all
they’re always like a little micro
infomercial Ike that the 30 seconds
two-minute infomercials and so that’s
what the script space sounds like
demoing the product bridge the gap
between where that and then the thing
you’re actually going to sell that makes
sense yeah that’s awesome as far as the
structure for a bridge page typically
though with the the bridge page is as
simple as a headline a video and a link
that’s it that and the more you add
actually the the less it will convert
and the cool thing with bridge pages is
you can use them for affiliate offers
you can use them for your own offers
when you’re literally just bridging page
with people from from one mindset over
to where you ultimately want to make
make them go
it’s the thing that pre frames them and
explains what’s going on so they
understand what’s happening so one of
the most effective things you can do for
a bridge page is a demonstration a
demonstration of a product the
demonstration of a physical product of a
piece of software some of the most
profitable things I have ever done in my
life online have been simple bridge page
demonstrations of other people’s
software

I did it after you did it I keep taking
it tied to building the software so
everybody does that mm-hmm so that’s
okay so I’m just gonna pick just use a
blank page where we have a button page
do you have a blank page template blank
page templates I hate using templates
but that’s just me all right okay like
the bridge pages this is like literally
a 30 second project if you spend more
than that you fell down so simple do you
have mine for me at all you know me just
a um I will have a headline for you in
just a minute but I want to show them
how the script works real quick and
won’t take long video it’s a video and
call to action that’s it so I’m
basically ready I’m just gonna delete
everything else okay I make this bug
bigger cuz I like big buttons big like
big buttons and I will not lie we are
wrapping when a button walks in with a
big button in your with big text in your
face you get clicked okay the longest
part of this template is deleting all
the other stuff boom all right cool so
now when I what I need you to do is to
stop sharing your screen so I can share
my screen back to you
okay cool so what I’m going to show you
guys here real quick is the new I call
it the demo script and this follows the
the format that Russell teaches that he
got from the Billy Mays thing and it
basically demo the product you show them
how it’s faster and easier you eliminate
the alternatives intro the price get
urgency and scarcity do the risk
reversal all the time and they’re using
your call to action so what I did was I
took me like 10 minutes to type this up
and so what’s that and and we have a
couple of cool examples in here we have
one for funnel scripts which is software
we have one that we did on Tuesday and
the live training for a camera bag
really was cool
so this one that I want to show you
could do it with just a book so what’s
the name of the product service you’re
demonstrating network marketing secrets
what is it what’s the biggest benefit
the biggest pain this eliminates what’s
the big payoff what’s the alternative
most people think of when they try to do
this then what are all the things that
you want to show about the product so
step by step what do you want to show in
this case I listed off each page where
it had something cool and then what’s
all the stuff they don’t need to do
anymore so this is eliminating the
alternatives then what’s the price
what’s an alternative way to express the
price how fast can they see results why
should they grab it now what’s your risk
reversal and what’s call to action so
now it actually puts it all the pieces
together with your hook intro faster and
easier demo eliminate the alternatives
intro price urgency scarcity risk
reversal and then I downloaded the
script as a word document and I got all
high tech and printed it off okay and
then I printed it off and I literally as
you’re gonna see here in a minute okay
rather me I held my phone I held my
phone in my right hand quite clumsily as
though I had some sort of a palsy and
then I held the I held this printed off
in my other hand and I read it as you
will see I tried to do it with the least
amount of panache as possible and so I
actually recorded it and I’m gonna send
you Russell in the face book I’m gonna
send you the link to the video so you
can pop it in there and people can watch
it but I mean the sound sucks it’s done
like you know somebody would do it if
they were just giving it a half an
effort you can see that this thing takes
it can take anything and create a really
really really cool demo and the cool
thing is is that you don’t have to sit
around and wait you don’t have to
struggle to not
get all the right pieces in there you
don’t have to pay somebody hundreds or
thousands of dollars to write you a
script and you don’t and the biggest
thing is you don’t have to waste two
three four or five hours trying to
figure it out and you don’t have to wait
a couple weeks for some lady to get it
back to you you just do this on your
phone I did this on my phone like
literally right before we got um you
were in st. Ursula five seconds ago yeah
and the only reason I didn’t do it live
was because I it was I couldn’t transfer
it from my phone fast enough
all right is live swatches when I get

screen real quick yeah and then when you
go to share your screen before you do it
there will be a little box that you can

better you’ll do in the past when I’ve
done stuff where it’s like you know the
phones ring and then the kid opens the
door and in other stuff those typically
will do better than the ones that look
super polished and they’re they’re best
lit and other things like that there’s a
time and a place for that for a bridge
page like this where you’re just demoing
something and showing people how to get
a result you know just make keeping it
real keeps it real and you’ll get better
results so that’s one thing I did want
to show you guys and that that just just
taken that hook right there and turn
them into your headline that’s like
cheating

and it wasn’t the it wasn’t the greatest
demo in the world but but that was
without even practicing it that was
without practicing
that’s what withholding the thing
imagine if I’d have put the phone on a
tripod or had somebody else with steady
hands hold it if I had to practice the
script two or three times which would
have taken a total of 12 minutes to
practice it three times and then just
delivered it amped up my my excitement
level and all of a sudden you’re doing
demo after demo after demo and you’re
hitting all the right buttons and it’s I
mean you guys can tell us in the

think about your own products how if you
did demos for different different groups
and different solutions that just doing
demos for your own stuff and creating
bridge pages to your own stuff people
arise that all 60 whatever episodes of
funnel Friday’s is literally you know
moving demoing photo scripts and me
demoing click funnels and we just passed
a $10,000,000 yesterday so does it work

that’s that’s that’s amazing if you guys

Hey this is Russell Brunson and welcome back to my YouTube channel. I’m so excited to have you here today. Today’s video will be talking about a secret funnel strategy that’s literally taking new business owners from startup phase to Two Comma Club winners in a very short period of time and that’s what we’ll be talking about, but before we get into the training, I really quick want to make sure that you are subscribed to my channel.

With that said, I want to share with you guys this funnel strategy. If you know anything about me, my name’s Russell. I own a company called ClickFunnels and I am obsessed with sales funnels. But what is a sales funnel? A sales funnel is a simple, easy way to sell stuff online.

When you start figuring out how to use it, it makes selling stuff online so easy. This is the big secret funnel strategy. What we do is we use a concept called funnel hacking. What that means, you can go and you can find people online who are making thousands or millions of dollars online and let’s say they have a sales funnel and say page one looks like this and maybe on page one they have a headline and they ask for your email address and the submit button. Then from there, they take you to page number two where they’re selling something.

Maybe there’s a video up top and maybe there’s some headlines down here and then there’s a big order button and then from there you’re taken to a page that has an upsell, we’ll call this upsell and there’s a video with an upsell with a page and then from there it takes you to a member’s area with a whole bunch of cool stuff. You guys have seen this before. If you’ve ever bought anything online, you’ve gone through a sales funnel, but a lot of times we look at a sales funnel, we buy the thing, we’re like, oh that’s really, really cool, but what I want you to do is I want you to slow down next time you buy something and look at the process.

We call this funnel hacking. Look at what happened with page one and page two and page three and page four. These funnels are not just made by happen chance. There’s people like me who are obsessed, who geek out on this all day every single day and every single piece is like art. When you start looking at that you say, okay, what did this company do? Let’s say there’s a company online who’s selling supplements and they’re doing really, really well. They’re selling things and you look at the sales process.

Let’s say they’re selling this and on the home page there’s a bottle of this, but they have the upsell they’re selling more bottles and over here they’re selling something different. If you’re selling a supplement, you can look at that as a business model. I look at funnels as models. I like to funnel hack someone, I buy their product, I look at what it looks like, and then from there you can map out your business model. Say, okay, when I built my funnel I know that I’m going to need a page like that as well. They’re selling, let’s say it’s a keto supplement or they’re selling a supplement for dogs or whatever it might be. I look at that and say, okay, how do I change it? I’m not going to copy anything, but I’m gonna model it.

I’m gonna model the look and the feel and the layout. I look at that and say, okay, what’s my headline gonna be and I’m gonna ask for an email address as well and if I’m here I’m gonna look at the second page. Obviously, they have their sales video, but I’m gonna put my sales video there and then I’m gonna have my copy. I’m not gonna copy anything, but I’m gonna model the layout of things, so I model the layout. Then I look at the upsell and I model the layout of that as well and I model every single piece of the process.

I think a lot of times people who are trying to start a business online, they struggle because they’re trying to be creative and trying to figure out a business model and a business plan. People submit to me all the time, here’s my business plan, Russell, it’s like 500 pages and I’m like, but do you even know what you’re selling and how you’re selling it? The hardest thing about making money online is figuring out what you’re selling and how you’re selling it and the best way to figure out how to sell it is to look at somebody else who’s selling something similar. Look at their sales funnel, funnel hack it.

Look at it, map out what it looks like, and then now you know what you need to build. This is your business model. I always tell people if they want to submit a business model to me, this is what I want to see. What is gonna be on your landing page, what’s gonna be your sales page, what’s on the upsell, what’s on the downsell, what does that look like, and then you go back and you create it, and that’s what funnel hacking is. That’s what the whole secret funnel strategy is that I wanted to share with you that’s getting people from startup phase to Two Comma Club winners practically overnight.

(smooth guitar music) – [Russell] Good morning everybody, this is Russell Brunson. Today I’m streaming from a little cabin in the middle of nowhere. These last few days I’ve been on a top secret retreat with a whole bunch of amazing business owners, and it’s been cool, it’s been interesting.

I’m about to jump on a helicopter with this guy. – Let’s go baby! – [Russell] Are you flyin’ it? – I’m flyin’. (laughs) – [Russell] Are you flyin’? – Yeah, I’m flyin’. – [Russell] How many of these do you own at this point? – Helicopters? – [Russell] Yeah. – I want a helicopter. (laughing) – I’m slackin’ Russell. – Oh man. – [Russell] It’s interesting what you learn about yourself because I know I’m introverted by nature and I just assume that at this point in my life that I’m not.

Especially around a group of people that are in my same world. I’m like, “Oh, this is gonna be so much fun.” I don’t know, it was tough for me a lot of times. Introverted Russell kept popping out and it was knowing that about myself, I was like, “Why do I feel so awkward “in so many situations that don’t make sense?” So for any of you guys who feel that sometimes and you don’t understand.

You’re like, “Why do I feel awkward here? “Why do I not feel comfortable?” It still happens, even to me, even among my peer group where it’s just tough sometimes. But we proudly got through it and made some great relationships which was cool. (upbeat guitar music) We went fly fishing and then we went hiking, then we went and shot guns.

Yesterday we went to go fly fishing. It’s funny, we go down there and they get me all set up and teach me how to do the casting, which that part is kind of cool, you try to figure it out. It was interesting because I’m noticing that there’s this hook, I’ll get my pole and throw it in, then pull it out, throw it in, pull it out, throw it out, pull. And doing this over and over and over I was looking at it and I was like, “This is so much like business, right?” You guys have heard me talk about the whole hook story offer framework which is like the foundation of everything we’re teaching nowadays.

You have to create an irresistible offer then you’ve gotta have a story that amplifies the value of that offer, and then you have to have a hook that stops ’em and grabs ’em right? In our world now everyone’s so busy through social media. There’s a million things happening every second. How do you grab someone? If our hook doesn’t convince the fish that it’s a worm or a bug or whatever, they’re not gonna come and bite the line, right? I think a lot of times some of us are trying this business, putting out your first thing and nobody bites.

Then you’re like, “The thing doesn’t work, “it isn’t working.” It’s like, “No, your hook didn’t work, right?” You gotta keep throwing hook in after hook after hook after hook. Half of what I do in this business is figuring out hooks to grab people. Every email I send is a hook.  Every Facebook live is a hook.

Trying all these different hooks to see which things people respond to. But it’s interesting because even to me, tons of my hooks fail, and tons of the different messages I put out there do not resonate with people, they don’t do anything with them. It’s really fascinating. The good news is nobody knows when I fail because nobody sees them because we don’t put much advertising dollars behind it ’cause the first hook didn’t catch any fish, right? The same thing for you.

You’ve gotta cast out all these different messages and headlines and hooks and things until you find something that somebody grabs onto. (peaceful orchestral music) Hey Brendon, where are we en route right now? – We are jumping in helicopters and we’re going to a lake. – Secretly. – A secret lake in Jackson Hole for some kayaking. We’re helicoptering in, kayaking around, and then getting these guys on airplanes. – So this is an Illuminati meeting and he is the head of the, no just kidding. (laughing) I think it’s Walker. Who’s the head of this organization anyway?

They literally brought the helicopter directly to the place we’re staying at. (lively rock music) – Alright, we’re here. We’re off to jump on those kayaks right there and they’re taking us into the river before we actually fly home in a few minutes. So that’s what’s happening. – You know something I’m just thankful for my father gave me a love of nature when I was young. So if you’re parents out there get your kids outside. (dramatic rock music) – Alright, good morning morning.

So I went to bed last night, sent all those images we were doodling on my bed over here, sent all these awesome things to Vlad and woke up this morning and guess what’s done? Boom, three types of traffic.  Pretty awesome. So now we got all the presentations I need for the event today with Dana Derricks. I’m giving a new presentation I’ve never done before that is actually the framework for the new Traffic Secrets book. I have a two hour time slot so for two hours I’m gonna be teaching the framework for my book, and I’m gonna see what hits and what doesn’t. So excited to try it out and hopefully it resonates with people.

So we’ll see. (laughing) Alright, wish me luck, I’m gonna go over my slides. – [Narrator] Dream 100 Con getting going! (upbeat pop music) – Mr. Russell Brunson! The third type of traffic, and this is the best and the most important, is the traffic that you own. My entire goal of our business, if you look at everything we’re doing from a traffic generation standpoint, is to convert traffic I can control, traffic that I earn into traffic that I actually own. ‘Cause if you own the traffic, that’s the secret sauce right?

And to feel what works, what doesn’t work, cut things out, move things around, and then I’m gonna start writing the book. But notice what I’m doing right, I’m throwing hooks out on the side of the thing, just throwing hook, hook, hook, trying to see what things people resonate with, what things people are gravitating towards. Jay Abraham taught me this initially.

So look, if you’re trying to find two adventure partners, Dream 100, first you gotta figure out is where does your product, your service, fit in the timeline of your dream customer, and you gotta figure out what are all the services they need before they come to you and what are all the services they need after they come to you. (lively rock music) (clapping) So for you, I want you just thinking about that. If you’re writing your webinar page, you’re doing your thing, and you haven’t been throwing out hooks, you’re just guessing.

You’re gonna write the first version of your book and you’re gonna get it back and it may suck. It may be awesome, you may have landed the first time, but you gotta go out on the road and test your material, and you should do it through all these different means. Do it through podcast interviews. Test out your framework. Test out your concepts and see what lands and what doesn’t. And then do the same thing on Facebook live, do it on your own page, do it on other people’s page.

– For the special question today, from our favorite network marketers, is how do I use funnels to get network marketing to work? There’s a lot of different ways I could answer this, but for some reason people think that their business is different. Always think is like “Oh cool, so I read the Dotcom Secrets book, “but it hasn’t worked for my business. “Alright Expert Secrets hasn’t worked for my business.”

I don’t care what business you’re in, business is business is all the same, the difference between network marketing, really is like your competing, you’re selling the exact same product as 1,000 other people, right? So the first step, is like Expert Secrets 101, how you create an offer right? ‘Cause if I’m competing with 1,000 or 10,000 or 100,000 or a million other distributors, I need to create an offer that’s sexy, that’s unique right? Business is all about making better offers.

So how do I create an offer that’s actually gonna sell my product better than everybody else’s? And some network marketing companies have problems with this so this is one that if you’re able to crank up the sexiness of your offer do it. Some companies don’t allow it, so you gotta be kind of careful with that. But if everybody else is offering this, how do I offer something different?

Those who don’t know my background, I spend a couple years, dabbling in the network marketing industry, and there’s a time when one company was giving away a Ferrari, and I was like, “That’d be really cool to win an Ferrari.” So I decided to win a Ferrari. So how do I do that? Step number one, I looked at me and 100,000 other distributors all selling the exact same products, I said okay, “I have to make a better offer.” So I took what everybody was selling, I said, “Okay everyone is selling this, “how do I make this better?” I was like, “Cool.”

“Well if you join me, “I’m gonna give you what everybody else is gonna give you, “I’m also gonna give you this and I’m gonna give you this “and I’m gonna give you this, I’m gonna give you this.” I created a package that’s special just for people who signed up with me, to push them over the edge. There’s a lot of people who’re like, “Ah these people on the fence, “they’re not gonna sign up with anybody.” I got them to join me, because I made a better offer. So that’s number one.

And then I won a Ferrari, so that was awesome. That’s step number one. Number two, Is a lot of new marketing companies aren’t going to allow you to just directly sell online. It’s a thing a lot of them have. So what we do, is we go back to the fundamentals, to the basics. And it comes back really to Expert Secrets okay? And we see this all the time to recently a very well known company, I was friends, I am friends with the owners, just went under. And it was interesting that a lot of people lost their businesses over night right?

But the people who didn’t were the people who followed this process. ‘Cause they realize that like if you just send all your people to the company, the company owns all these people. The most valuable asset in any business, is the people. So you gotta be in the business of you first. So all I do is I create a very simple linning page, and it’s gonna be like, in fact, depending on what I’m doing, usually I make two different lining pages.

The big thing about market networkers, that’s different that tradition businesses, there’s two target markets, Two target markets. So first target market is the who person who actually wants to consume the product. So a lot of networking, products are for health? So there’s like the product consumers, and then there’s the business opportunity seekers.

What’s interesting is that a lot of times, people join a company because they’re obsessed with product. Other times people join the opportunity cause they’re obsessed with the actual opportunity. And it’s rare that people love both initially. Usually one or the other drives them right? So for me, I build a different lining page and a different funnelfor each one. So I’d have something here like Hey if you want to discover houseable equipment “part time job and win this sweet pink, what is it? What is the pink Cadillac.

Then often here and I’ll tell you how alright? So now I’m going to get people who’re like, “They quit your job and got a pink Cadillac? “That’s awesome.” So they’re gonna opt in because they wanna find out more about the business opportunity right? Or I could be like for people who don’t want to buy the product, They think, “What’s this product? “This product helps people with whatever.” So you could be like, “Hey discover, “the rare salts, “that instantly within 30 minutes of taking them “will put your body into ketosis, “so you can loose weight faster” They’re like, “What are these weird salts?” And they’d opt in here, and now they’re about the product right? So they opt in here about the product. So then they’re joining my email list.

So both these things are joining my list. Now I build a list of people, who they like me, I’m gonna take them here I’m going to show them videos while I tell them stories, I’m going to build relationships, about the product or about the thing. And then basically somewhere along the line, I invite them to take my special offer. So back here again, if it’s like, “Hey here’s how I won my Cadillac and lost bunch of weight.” They opt in, next page like, “Cool I did it by joining this company, “it’s awesome. “This is how it works if you want to be part of it.

“You can join my team and I’m going to make you “a special offer if you join today. “You’re gonna get, “you’re gonna join but I’m also going to let you be “part of my private Facebook group. “I’ll be willing to coach you, “I’ll do three way calls with you, “I’ll do blah blah blah” Whatever it is your offer is and they sign up. And they come over to Facebook, and I drive Facebook ads, to my opt in page I’d be like, “But Facebook doesn’t let you drive people “into your in to your business opportunity right?” Well let me drive people to my company website, yeah of course they don’t you drive into your funnel. ‘Kay Facebook’s not going to let you shut you down because you’re showing a free video about how you won a pink Cadillac.

That’s what Facebook wants stuff like that. Facebook’s not gonna shut you down when you say like, “Here’s rare ancient salt that helps you put your body “into ketosis.” ‘Cause Facebook wants this stuff, they opt in and manage the video, and then the email sequence you email them over here. So a lot of this stuff that Facebook and other platforms allow you to do happen off the platform. But the key to this, and all business in case you were actually wondering, is the funnel. So that’s it just going back, setting up a funnel, building a relationship with the list as it comes to you. So Dotcom Secrets is the book about how you create the funnels.

Funnel structure funnel strategy right? So you build the funnels, and then it’s like how do I build a relationship with all these people coming through the funnel So that when I tell them they should buy this thing, they actually buy it. That’s what Expert Secrets is about is, building relationships, telling stories, positioning yourself in the right way, so when you do all make him a special offer, they go crazy and they give you money. We’ve got tons of network marketers in Click Funnels, who are killing it. And we’re basically building really simple funnels, to build, to build lists on one or two things.

Awesome, where’s RB? We’re supposed to go over to meet at the Grant in like 10 or 15 minutes and I think we’re gonna pull this one off today. Whew! I hope. – Our flight is supposed to leave at 4:30? I think. – We’re gonna pull this thing off I promise. Hurry, Russell, hurry. – Good morning, morning It’s our last leg of the trip. – We’re about to get on Grant Cardone’s jet. What?! – Here’s Dan. Dude, you are like so late! I’m way tired, but excited. Actually I’m excited to go home. To he honest with you, I’m excited to go home –

I know a lot of people are doing well with it, right? – [Russell] Yeah. – What I wanna know, though, can anybody do a funnel? – Oh, yeah. That’s things like, prior to click funnels, nobody could. It was super hard.

We made it so anybody can. From anywhere, anyhow, anytime, just do it. – So, what I wanna know is could you do it from 40,000 feet? (laughter) Could we do it on the way to Chicago? We got a two-hour flight. – We have internet access here? – Do I have internet access? I’ve got three internet accesses. (laughter) I got two internet bands. I got a K-band we can add to it but I don’t think we’re wanna light that one up. – This is like time crunch. We gotta build a funnel before we land. – If you can’t do it for me, you can’t do it for anyone. I’m the easiest guy in the world to sell. People either love me or they hate me. (Russell laughs) But at least he’ll look in the funnel. I’m gonna put Click Funnels to the test.

You got your boys onboard. Your cost of this flight, no free peanuts, is you gotta create a funnel for the 10X Rule. So I’m gonna give you an easy book. Your guys, tell me what you need from me. I got internet. Can you guys do it? Can you guys create a funnel? We got two hours. – We gotta film you that’s selling the book- – So my whole life I’ve been told I couldn’t have the dream life. I’ve been told from the get-go it was impossible. Today I’m sitting in a plane with my name on it. You can’t fake a jet. You just can’t fake that.

Just take care of the shipping. Is that the pitch? – [Russell] That’s it! – You guys have an hour and 48 minutes. We’re at 41,000 feet. No pressure at all, man. You’re running out of time, man. Number two you have somebody who can actually pitch the product ’cause a sales funnel is not gonna just sell the product by itself. It still takes somebody- – [Grant] Yeah. –

And then you have a funnel. That’s it. You can grab things and pull them and move them. Every business needs a funnel. Same thing you think with the funnel. So something comes in the funnel, how am I gonna approach them. – Yeah, you’re not really trying to sell somebody. You’re trying to hook into interest to raise my hand and say I’ve got issue with my car or my roof. (typing) – [Russell] Yeah. – He’s doing good. He crushed that page quick! – All right, the first page Grant’s building is to sell the book.

Now moving on to page number two in the funnel. So the second page after they bought the book, then we’ll be talking about the actual 10X experience. You’re gonna take it to Grove con three. – Hey thank you so much for ordering the book. It’s on it’s way as I speak and I don’t want you just to read the book. That’s gonna be awesome for ya but I want you to become part of the 10X movement. That’s pretty easy, man! (laughter) We making sales yet? (laughter) Yeah, so you’re passing on the event. Could be two or three different reasons. You don’t like to travel. You don’t like to leave home. You don’t the time.

What I do want to do however, even if you can’t be at the event, is I wanna catch you up in the comfort of your home. Yeah, with all of our training stuff, so it’s like how to find the right hook. This funnel is just one on one selling without you there. You’re just pulling yourself out. All right, and then the last page, we just thank them for their order and then tell them to invest in Cardone Capital. So that’ll be the last page of the funnel and then that’s it. – And then you go to Cardone Capital? – Might as well. – Before you go, one last thing, all right? The number one question people ask me when they’re working with me is how do I get to that first seven figures. How do I get to that first two-comma club? No, man, it was easy! –

He wanted us to build the funnel. He could do it. It’s that easy. – Yeah, yeah, I said, hey you guys build it at 50, 000, and they’re like, how ’bout you build it? Which means, by the way, you guys can do it too. Cut and copy, it’s there. So he’s already got a template that works. It’s like your mom’s recipe. You don’t really need to change anything. It makes the guy that’s not good with the computer pretty easy to do it anywhere, man. If I could do it up here, you guys can do it down there to get you up here. (light laughter) – [Pilot] Yeah, yeah, let’s do it. – I’m legitimately flying the plane right now. What?! All right, we’re flying into Chicago. Look at that. It’s been an insanely cool trip. We built a funnel.

Grant build his very first funnel all by himself. – Sure did, man. It was amazing! – Anyway, coming soon to a funnel near you. All right, so, the last 24 hours have been insane. On the plane, Grant build his very first funnel ever all by himself, which was really really cool to see. It’s funny ’cause he’s like, I don’t wanna do it. Then we made him do it. He’s like, this is really easy. This is real easy! So, he saw how easy click funnels was. We was really excited to actually have him use it.

Now we’re back here Chicago O’Hare Airport where we were 24 hours ago. So in 24 hrs we’ve been on, not one, but two private planes and had a whole bunch of fun. So the moral of this episode is you should try to get your own plane. Just kidding, kind of. But really for me, it’s all about leveling up. In the last episode, we were in San Francisco at Salesforce. We watched how a multi-billion dollar company runs, how it looks like, the strategies behind it. Here we saw Pruvit.

You know, they’re a half a billion dollar year company now that started three and a half years ago. Then you get, well, Grant, so we have no idea how much his revenues are but enough to write a check for a $50,000,000 plane. Every time I feel like I’m thinking big, I find the next level and I realize I’m thinking small. I know the difference between success from where we want to be and what we could be, is all between our ears.

It’s all just what we believe and so if you see people do things, you’re more likely to believe it’s true. I have absolute belief now that it’s possible for Click Funnels to go from a hundred million to a billion and a billion to ten, whereas before I just hoped. Belief is the key to this episode. I look for your future, what you want to accomplish, find people who have already done it. When you see them, you’ll realize you can do it as well and that belief is what’ll drive you forward. – [Russell] Hey everyone who is just tuning in my name is, Russell Brunson, and today we’re going to be talking about Facebook funnels, everyday I go through a bunch of questions you guys ask me, about building your company, and growing your traffic and your sales and your leads. And all sorts of fun stuff, and today we’re talking about Facebook funnels. So the question is, how do sales funnels and Facebook funnels match up? How should I be using Facebook?

So, that’s a good question and the strategy changes often, and there’s a lot of different ways, but imma kind of walk you guys through the basic principles that we focus on here at ClickFunnels™, as we’re growing ours. So, for me and for our team everything kind of starts at the offer level, right, so we figure out first off what is the offer we want to make, okay? So the offers like imma sell this and you’re gonna get this and then you’re gonna get this and we figure out the offer right? Then we come back and say okay cool, that’s the offer we’re getting, then how do we sell that. K, which this is usually, primarily, like the story. What’s the story we’re gonna use to sell it. And that’s like cool, here’s the story and maybe we’re gonna do that story on a webinar or a video sales letter or a long form sales letter. Or whatever, but there’s some story.

That we’re telling here, that’s gonna sell that offer. Right? Pretty simple. And then the last thing is like what is the hook we’re use to grab them, okay. And so the hook then for me, comes back here. Let’s say this is Facebook or Youtube or whatever platform you’re selling on, now I can’t to kind if caveat real quick. Every step in this process, there’s going to be a hook, story and offer. There’s a hook, story and offer in Facebook and there’s a hook story and offer in the sales video. There’s a hook story offer in the upselling, every piece has that, but as an overarching strategy, if you look at it from a high level. It’s like, the macro before the micro. The macro is like the ad is like the hook, right.

Then the sales message, the funnel, is the story and what you’re selling is the actual offer. K, so if you come back to our core framework of hook, story, offer, k so this is the macro looking down. Now the micro looking down, again is our hook, story, offer in each, every single element of this. But for this question, we’re gonna get to the bigger one. Alright, so the question is, how do sales funnels and Facebook match up? So for me its like, these two things are tying together. Very very similar, right, Facebook is the group of people So over here there’s all these people all of these dream customers are over here, Facebook, Youtube or whatever you want to target makes it simple for us, who are the exact customers who want our products right. So when I started selling my, the book Dotcom Secrets.

I was like who are the people who would want this book, and I’m like K its entreprenaurs who are mission driven, who are whatever right, and I figure out exactly who those people are, and Facebook gives me the ability to like find out exactly who those people are so I can target them perfectly, right. So I’ll put it like a target here like we can find exactly who we’re trying to target, almost perfectly on Facebook, K. Now, the goal of this Facebook is to set the hook, right. So people on their feed, and they’re scrolling through their feed as fast as they can.

They’re doing it at their desk, they’re doing it in the bathroom, they’re doing it while they’re walking, they’re doing it while they’re driving, its horrible! But, that’s what we’re doing right. And your job in Facebook, the first step of the funnel is to stop them, and grab them and hook em right. So we hook em, get their attention for just long enough to send them over here, okay. And so that’s kind of the first step, it’s like, it’s the prefunnel, everything happening in Facebook is the prefnnel, right. And from here, then the message needs to match, okay. So whatever my, hook and stuff that’s gonna be over here on the sales page has to be similar to over here.

We’ve done funnels in the past where like our hook on the Facebook is amazing, then the come over here, there’s a mismatch, and doesn’t convert. No matter how good it is here or here, if there’s disconnect it doesn’t work, right. In fact a lot of times our headline for the ad will be the exact same line, that’s over here, right. So I want congruency between the first step and the second step and from there for them to take the offer, okay. So then the strategy is like how do I, how do I do this? How do I create the hooks and the ads? And it obviously is always changing all the time, but one of my favorite things to do is we never know what hook is gonna get somebody to listen right?

So, I’m tryna hook them to have them come listen to a story about why they should buy my offer. And inside the story there might be four or five or six or ten different things inside this story that I’m telling right. And so inside the story there might be a bunch of different hooks, and so I’m thinking what’re the different hooks that’s gonna grab someone and say how quick I did it, how much weight I loss, how much money I made, how much time I took, you’re one of my successes stories of my students.

All these are little hooks, and so I look at Facebook like a big pond and I’m throwing out these different hooks, and I’m tryna figure out which ones are gonna work and which ones won’t work. One of my favorite examples of this was at Anthony DiClementi, he owns a company called Biohacking Secrets. And he had a book that he created, that was a free book to teach people how to bio hack, And at first we set the funnel and it worked awesome, but then we couldn’t come and get people to come over, and we couldn’t figure out what hook would actually get the right people to come like how do we get his dream customers. So we told Anthony, go do a Facebook Live every single day, and each day try a different hook.

So one day he did a Facebook Live that was like hey, Imma show you guys my number one way to biohack my mitochondria or something weird like that, right. And he does a Facebook live about that, puts it out there and guess what, it was a horrible hook and nobody bought on it, like, nobody came and watched it. So the net day he tried a different hook, and he tried a different hook, and he kept doing different hooks all of them leading back to the same free book offer he created.

And he kept trying thing after thing, and after like day 11 or day 12, he made a video that’s called how to biohack your vegetables and he’s basically like, cooking your vegtables in Kerrygold butter, something really simple but for some reason that hook, grabbed his dream customers. And that video ended up getting viewed a million times, drove tons of people into his funnels, and made a bunch of money, okay. So if you look at this from the macro, it’s hook, story, offer in Facebook or the ad platform we’re throwing a whole bunch of different hooks tryna find out which ones people will grab onto. And now if we get em, then we pull them back here, tell them the story and we make them the offer.

ClickFunnels™ Dominate Facebook: And that’s basically how Facebook and how our funnels how they kind of coexist and how they work together. Is Facebook we’re replacing a whole bunch of hooks, and over here we’re actually telling them the story, to then make them the offer. – Alright, for everyone who’s tuning in, my name is Russell Brunson and right now I’m going to be covering another really cool question about how to grow your company, how to do funnels, and today’s question is called Funnel Profits. “Russell, what can I do to 10x my Sales Funnels’ profit?” Okay, so I’m going to begin by doodling out a sales funnel now, obviously every sales funnel is different.

Ever since we launched the company Click Funnels, people have been able to create all sorts of sales funnels so you can do simple ones, complex ones, there’s a bunch of variations but most sales funnels aren’t that complicated, right? Unless you are using really confusing software, then some people get really confusing but I like to keep it simple. So, most of mine are going to be like a landing page where my goal is to get somebody’s email address. So it’s going to be an email form and a button.

Then from there I go to a sales page, or maybe there’s a video and then there’s a button where somebody gives me money and then the next page, maybe there’s a page where there’s another video here and then there’s an upsell where they click a button and there’s an upsell. So, like, that’s a basic funnel, right? And so the coolest thing about what we do as funnel builders inside of Click Funnels and if you’ve read the Dotcom Secrets book or any of my books, I go deep into how these things work like step one, step two and that a whole bunch of different funnel types but what people understand is that the reason why this is so magical and the reason why I’m making really simple funnels is because I can test something, right? So let’s say I create the funnel the best I can, I don’t know if it’s going to work or not, then I go over and I talk to Mr. Zuckerberg over at Facebook and I say I’m going to buy some ads.

Right, so I go and I buy some ads and I drive traffic into this. Now what’s cool about this is I can go and I can buy some ads and some people, depending on your budget might be like 10 dollars, or 50 dollars, or 100 or 1,000 or something but I usually put some money in and I sit back and I just wait and I watch it and what’s going to happen is the ads, the market is going to show me exactly what’s working, what’s not working. Okay? So what’ll happen is like, let’s say I spent 1,000 bucks, right.

So say I spent 1,000 bucks let’s say it cost me a dollar per click just to make the numbers easier, right. 1,000 people end up showing up on this landing page. So then I look at, okay, of the 1,000 people ending up on the landing page, how many people gave me their email address? And I’ll look at that number and say, okay, looks like we had 378 people gave me their email address so, the conversion of step one and step two is with 378.

They also, okay, from 378 people gave me their email address how many actually purchased? And I’ll say okay, well, we ended up having, say, 10 people that actually purchased, and say, okay, how many people took the upsell? From the upsell we say, okay, we had one person take the upsell, right? So now I look at these numbers and I say, okay, what is, like, 1,000 people came, and I got 1,000 dollars so that means the ad, it means I’m spending about a dollar per click which is actually really, really good, right?

So I know that the ad over here, so this is Facebook and I’m placing the ad, okay, I know that that worked, that was good so I’m not going to touch the ad, because the ad’s perfect. And I come over here, 1,000 people hit, 378 so that means that 37% opt in, right, which is pretty good, that’s not horrible, it’s not the best but it’s pretty good. Okay, so that means if I draw a little number here, it means 37.8% of the people opted in on this page. So this page is a winner winner chicken dinner.

I’m not going to touch it but I’m going to be very excited about it, right. So now 378 came to this page and 10 bought so what’s the math on that for all our mathematicians at home. Let’s see, it means, what, 3.7%, I believe. Am I right on that? Anyone check my math? (laugh) Bought off this thing here, and 1/10 means 10% bought here. So I’m looking at all these things, so 37%, 3.7%, 10%. So if I’m looking at this funnel and I’m coaching somebody, I’m going to say, okay, what’s broken? The ads are doing awesome, a buck per click, winner, that’s awesome.

Funnels 10x Sales Profit: What should be the upsell rate?

Number two, 37% opt-in rate, that’s cool, we’re not going to worry about this. 3% sales rate, that’s, depending on the price point here, that’s not too bad, and then 10% upsell rate, 10%, like that’s, maybe that’s really really low, right? And again, I can shift these numbers, let’s say I shift these numbers and I go from 378 to let’s say we only get 78 people to opt-in, right? And then all of a sudden these numbers start shifting so now it’s like oh, crap, in this funnel we only had 7.8% opt-in rate.

Now I’m looking at that and I’m like there’s your issue, that’s the problem. That’s a horrible opt-in rate. So what do we know? It means I didn’t use enough curiosity on the landing page. It means my landing page was too flashy, it was confusing people, whatever it is. So I’ve got to change that, right, so I come in there and we call these funnel audibles, I come in there, I call them audible, I need to tweak this page a little bit. I make some tweaks, some changes, and hopefully this goes from 7% to 17%.

And we keep tweaking it, and now it’s 27%, now it’s 37%, we make the changes, and then eventually this goes back to green where we’re like sweet, that number’s awesome, I’m really happy at 37% that opted in. And now, you know I put a dollar into ads now, maybe back here two dollars pop back out. Which that’s all marketing is, it’s all funnels are is how do I build a funnel where I put a dollar in advertising in and get two dollars back out. Okay, if you had a slot machine where you put a dollar in and every time it popped out two dollars, how many times would you put a dollar in? You’d put in a dollar every single day as often as fast as you could, right? So same thing, so we’re building the slot machine where you put a dollar in, get two dollars back out.

That’s all we’re playing with this game, it’s super fun. And so, all I’m looking at is okay, I put the dollar in, I get two dollars back out, if not, which one of these numbers is skewed. And then I figure out, okay, opt-in rate is awesome but this is only converting it at a 0.5%? That’s the red one, this is the one, something’s not right here. And my video’s not right, or the offer’s not right, or something’s not right, so I’m going to tweak some stuff, change some things, spend a little bit more money and see what happens.

And then I’m going to make some tweaks, some changes, spend some more money, and keep going with that process until it works and I have a funnel where I can put a dollar in advertising in and get two dollars back out. So that’s how we 10x our Sales Funnels’ profits. If you look at anybody in my inner circle, people I coach directly, my own funnels, this is the game we play. We create our best version we possibly can, we go spend some money on ads, and then we sit back and watch, see what happens, and then we come back and say oh, our guess on this page was wrong. Or this was awesome, that’s awesome, this is doing bad.

Or these three are doing awesome but our ad costs we’re paying like 22 dollars per click maybe our ad’s horrible, let’s change the ad around. And you just make a couple adjustments and tweaks until it works, and as soon as it works you’ve got something you can put a dollar in and get two dollars back out. Then you just dump in as many dollars as you can and every once in a while, not all the time but every once in a while you build a funnel that’s so good where instead of putting a dollar in and getting two out, you put a dollar in and you get three out, or five out, or 10 out, and this is like the big paydays you’re looking for.

But we don’t know which ones this is going to be which is why it’s so much fun building funnels inside of Click Funnels. You try one, test it out, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Then you try another one, sometimes it works, it doesn’t. Try another one, make some tweaks, make some changes until boom, something hits and then it’s off to the races. So, that is how you 10x your sales profit it’s just by watching the numbers and doing basic, simple math, making simple adjustments, trying again, and keep doing that until you have something that actually works.
