excited is our very first time we’re doing this with a zoom call Rachel Peterson is on you guys if you don’t know her I don’t know how you don’t just have to meet that one computer this is like the beauty of Facebook live everything that can go wrong will yes this is real live you can tell us that we’re figuring this thing out on the fly as we go so excited out Rachel I can’t this is set to treat for me so again Rachel welcome to funnel hacker radio our podcasts we’re doing this energy click follows group first time we’ve been asking people what they wanted to know about you but before we get going I just love having you on and you’re just like the epitome of a person’s massive action taker remember of our inner circle group two comma Club way I mean sure you’re just crowd not yet soon complete the work but the plot agrees with all mclubbe later so Rachel for those who make I don’t know how they wouldn’t know you but if they don’t just give a few few little things about you and work it we’ve got so much fun stuff to talk about as one side right into it well first and foremost I have to say it if you ever hear Dave introduce you he makes you sound so much cooler than you actually are it’s amazing gonna pay this man to write your BIOS so I’m Rachel Peterson glad to meet anybody who hasn’t yet seen my million ads that are always running I’m a social media manager and strategist as well as an educator for social media managers I have 2,000 my business I have a marketing agency where I work one-on-one with incredible clients and I absolutely love and the other side which is the education piece is the University where there are over 400 students from the world and I have the opportunity and privilege to lead them and serve them every single day teaching them feed best social media tactics I love it and if you haven’t seen any of our stuff you the best part actually being in your group and literally just seeing the love that everybody who follows you has for you I mean they’re just so complimentary Rachel I’m so again do you want to learn Facebook rachel is the queen Facebook person to go to definitely take a look at all the stuff she’s got going on but we are so excited because we’re going to talk about a topic we normally don’t talk about we’re trying to figure out fashion what should we talk about this so we’re asking to talk about the real side of things that’s how we’re going to make a mistake so we’re talking about the real side of things and what life is really like as an entrepreneur so with that said maybe what’s going to dive right in when you say the real side of things let’s just talk about first of all your hair you have to okay this is this is bad here at all times yes then you have your beautiful flowing Goldilocks blonde hair going and but you only wash once a week so yes so that’s one of the things that I think is really important to talk about yes I know it’s super you know superficial and talking about hair but it’s kind of a metaphor for everything is an entrepreneur so I wash my hair once a week and that’s it like I don’t have time to wash and blow-dry my hair and the funny thing is Dave I think sometimes we get this really glamorous idea of what an entrepreneurs life is like the reality is if not jets on first-class and luxury all the time the reality is sometimes your kids get sick and you’re taking conference calls your kids like throwing up upstairs and you’re like quiet client throw up more quietly you know there’s so many things that are just real life and if it’s rise ugly it’s super messy but that’s one of my favorite parts about this is figuring out how can I be like a real normal person a mom a wife you know a family member and a friend well you know trying to also build this massive business I love it I know that’s been one of the main things we’ve been trying to show through our funnel up behind the scenes as far as fun hacker TV and it’s been really fascinating for us as we take a look at just the chaos or things that happens I was talking someone yes with regard to some of the crazy things that happened during our expert Secrets book launch when all these facebook lives and one of the things with the internet crashed on us and like kidney how could this have happened and so but that’s part of life as an entrepreneur and we just got back a couple weeks ago from Pirates Cove we were down there and I had the opportunity got my kids my wife was there with me and you know yes people are I mean crazy crazy success but the part that no one ever understands is yeah that overnight success you’re hearing about that was about twelve years in the making overnight success and so I want to kind of talk to you more about your life and your experience as an entrepreneur I know you’ve had the ups and downs but people see you just blow it up right now and think oh this I could never do it because I’m not Rachel it is kind of interesting I will say everything has happened pretty fast for me I’ve only been an entrepreneur and now for less than two years and just over a year full time so everything’s happened very quickly but part of the reason I think that it’s all happened so fast is because of like you said what nobody sees and it’s the two hundred hour work weeks every single week for like two years on end and you know your family is like hello are you still alive it’s really really tough and so I think that’s one of the things that most people don’t realize that if you’re willing to put in the work you literally will have success in whatever it is that you’re working on as long as you put in those hours nobody’s working two hours a week and having massive success you have to work hard now I will also say I’m not a huge fan of promoting the hustle lifestyle because I think it’s not necessarily very balanced or good like it’s been crazy I will say too I’ve lost a lot of weight because I forget to eat because I’m working so hard why that’s not something I necessarily promote for everyone it’s just something that I personally really like I love working and so you know it’s been hundred hour work week for almost almost two years now but like you said everybody just sees the high as they see the pretty they see the good and it’s like no there’s been a lot of ugly servants like ugly cry days on this dirty love is so I think that’s important of the people in understand that I know that if it was really kind of interesting for us last year at our frontal hacking live when Russell went through and kind of talked about his in almost declared bankruptcy a couple different times and the ups and the downs it’s really what kind of connected people with Russell even a deeper level than they already were and I know for your community it’s been that way as well that they they know your backstory they know your origin story they understand where you where you come from I think because of that it resonates with them but what would be some of the tips that you would give to people who aren’t quite as level of successes you’re having right now but want to get that oh one of the biggest things it sounds so cliche but is to take action and I mean big action every single day the fear doesn’t go away you never feel ready it’s never going to get easier if anything it gets harder and bigger and scarier and before you know it you’re taking on bigger tasks but if you can take action in your business every single day whether it’s doing that thing that you’ve been pushing off we’ve all got it just finally taking it on and making it happen or you know sending out those emails with people you know you’re supposed to email if you take that action every single day and maybe even two to three times that amount of action that you were planning on taking oh my gosh you’re going to see compounding you know result it’s crazy like it starts out growing you know steadily and then all of a sudden you see that X is an exponential result of compounding action I love that that compounding accident think it’s apart most people forget about they keep starting over and starting over and starting over because they never get that momentum going behind them I know for you it’s been neat for me to see you in our inner circle and things and to see the massive action that you take which again it’s way outside your comfort zone and on yeah that’s the part that’s been so cool is to see you do you get way out there real quick Rachel and I want people to understand when we’re talking about getting outside your comfort zone how outside your comfort zone you’ve actually gotten oh my gosh okay so my comfort zone is like karaoke and like a local BNI meeting speaking at it you know it’s simple you know it’s my comfort zone is having a party with 20 friends and you know being the social person there so let’s talk about outside of the comfort zone I’m talking messaging influencers and then starting conversations with them I’m talking trying to gun for the top 10 and expert secrets when my list is like this thing I was like what am i doing this is insane good I did it and the biggest thing is just saying like okay everything that I thought were you know I thought these were my limits before and reimagining new limits I just did this yesterday my husband and I just got back from a vacation which was wonderful but we wrote down all my goals and I took the initial goal and I wrote down all these goals and I said okay what does 10x that look like and I rewrote it so now the goals that I first set are considered the low end of the goals and then the ten times that goal is considered the new role and so it’s like if I don’t hit this I’m not doing anything in my business this is the new standard every single thing that you think you can do in your life multiply it times three times five times ten and go for it you know if you want to get someone on your podcast go big ask some big names you never know who’s going to say yes what’s the worse that can happen that’s awesome yeah so we were trying a couple different things here today and some of those have been asking me going out to people and asking them for questions so we’re going to try this little differently and so Akbar chief when very first thing says that why are you so awesome oh my gosh I could have answered that not now but I’ll let you answer that well first and foremost because I get to work with people like Dave and Akbar he’s amazing he’s somebody I actually worked with and really really respect but why am I so awesome maybe it’s because I’ve just retained being like a super goofy person you know what I mean I never became refined I’m still this major goofball and you know I’m not scared to hop on a Facebook live with no wake up with my hair slicked up in a bun in my sweat and even like there may come a day where I make ten million dollars a year guess what I’m still going to show up with no makeup with my hair up in a bun you know that’s never going to change so I think that’s huge for painting who you are no matter what your level of success is because it’s where you started is what causes people to fall in love with you I love that set authenticity we talk a lot about and the importance of really being authentic through the whole time and I know that’s again one of the things that people just resonate so well with you because you maintain that for sure another one people have asked here as far as what’s been their most successful guerrilla marketing with ClickFunnels™ that’s from a jodean Bergstrom that’s a great question there are a couple different things that I’ve done and this is kind of cool I have this theory that sometimes if you don’t ask for people information payment whatever it is if you slow down that process and really nurture the relationship you can get a lot further so one of the things I’ve been doing is testing out giving amazing value and content for free to see what that’s like bringing people into your circle so I don’t know if you knew this things but I actually have a group right now it’s over a thousand people where I’m teaching them completely for free how to build their email list whoa I don’t know that it’s a full-on five day course with everything like split files and people are like why are you doing this for free this should be like hundreds of dollars and I’m like why not you know like this might be really cool or this might be really stupid and it never does anything so just kind of this idea of like putting stuff out there that doesn’t make sense where people are like why would you do that it was like well why wouldn’t I’m going to test it out and see how it works and that’s done really well so you know I was able to create this group of over a thousand people who are new to me and new to the world of what I teach and they’re able to get just the best taste in their mouths about what you know the Rachel Peterson brand stands for you know that’s really fun that is really cool I’ve been amazing again it goes back to your giving personality which then basically resonates so well people just fall in love with you so that is super cool these are people so one of the Scott Lucas want to know what are your favorite traffic hacks Oh a traffic acts okay so this isn’t necessarily a hack but it’s kind of interesting so many people jump straight to pain traffic and I love paid traffic don’t get me wrong Facebook ads are one of my favorite avenues but most people totally neglect organic social media and the other thing is that and this is so funny to me people ignore organic and it’s free you’re starting your business and you’re like I don’t have money to invest into Facebook ads social media is free learn it you know use it it’s incredible and States I think you know a little bit of my story but when I started we barely had anything extra to invest into this business you know five years ago I was a single mom on welfare so stressed out you know a couple three years ago we actually had to move in with family because we went through this you know this horrible white court case and stuff we have no money and so that has affected us for years to come so I had to get you in social media because it was free so I was like okay you know this has to work with my skinny pants I can’t afford Facebook ads and guess what it does it’s so powerful you know rage so I think that’s the part about your your history in your past and for tonight I’ve had the opportunity hearing that from you at other times and other people and I think it’s because you’ve been there that’s your message resonates so well of so many other people had you had it real easy and everything else it wouldn’t mean as much as it does knowing that you did you’ve overcome a lot of things to get to where you’re at right now and I think that is why I was Sony when I heard you were on a trip with your family really just got your first vacation a long time yeah absolutely it’s so crazy and you know I actually I’ve always journals my whole life and so I’ve got these journal entries from four or five years ago I was struggling to try to get like this business as a hair stylist you know going I wanted it to work so badly but I remember days like I didn’t have a car I was living sharing one bedroom with my daughter in a house just renting one bedroom we had our beds in opposite sides of the room and we would take you know the bus to Goodwill to buy a dollar ninety-nine shirts meant like you know stitch up the holes myself because I just wanted to look presentable I wanted it so badly and we could barely afford it it was so it’s so interesting yeah go ahead not just so cool I’m just I’m just so impressed just so impressed with you and your story and your total dedication to no matter what it’s going to take I’m going to do it I just that’s just amazing absolutely I think there’s part of you that when you go through those types of trials you understand what it takes I’m going to make this happen at any you know at any cost while still maintaining my integrity but how can I make this happen and that was what I did over those years you know I said at that time I was like I’m going to be a stylist at one of the top salons that’s all there is to it how I don’t know I can’t afford nice clothes you know but I went and implicated all the top salons and ended up getting accepted to the one I wanted to work at but there’s always been kind of this idea of it’s not a matter of if it’s a matter of when so I’m going to make something work and it finally did so what took you from there to Facebook how come he came a massive Facebook guru it is actually funny it had all had to do with the highlights so one day I was working with one of my clients and she had noticed that I was doing a really great job of marketing myself on social media as a hair stylist and she said could you help my husband and I out with our social media presence our business and I you know I didn’t really think that much of it but I said yeah I’ll definitely do that so I went over to her house it’s like a Saturday or a Sunday because we only have something’s off in the hair industry so I went over and I helped them set up all of their social media and I didn’t know a lot about social media I just knew more than her that was key I just knew more than her so I was able to help her out and when I came home I remember setting down all my files on the table and my husband and they looked at each other and I was like I kind of had this feeling he’s like I know I was like I think it’s going to be marketing and usually I know and so we just kind of were like freaking out because we were like oh my gosh this is the potential for something massive and it was that is so awesome I love that love that stature it’s just so cool well Daniel McSweeney wants to know what’s the best to come oh my gosh there’s many amazing things already um to come that’s such a good question I think one of the highs already so far it was just this last month we put an offer in on our dream house and it is beautiful we’re you know we’re moving in over the next month I’m really excited about Ojai I feel like they’re gonna be so many you know what I mean there are tons of things I’ve written down that I know will happen I know that they’ll come to pass it’s just a matter of when like someday I want to start doing tons of speaking gigs someday I want to you know be on TV someday I want to work with a ton of celebrities actually this is cool for anyone listening you know how I said get uncomfortable and reach up to people that seem bigger than you I actually reached out to Rufio the actor who plays with CEO in hook and we’ve been Facebook messaging and so we’re going to possibly work together on something but there are just so many different you know different things that I see and I think they’re gonna happen faster than I assume they will but that’s to come yeah just everything I can’t pick one for sure yeah are just want to know how do you keep high membership retention rates whoo this is something I’m actually working with inner circle member Brian Bert on poison partnering up in Mike yeah we’re tag-teaming on this one of the seats is to really know every single person who’s a member I think that’s huge so as I go through my list of my 400 students and like okay I’m going to take the time to get to know each person so I go into their Facebook profile I look at what I can see you know learn a little bit about them so that I have reference when we don’t refine to them in the group and so I’ve actually been sending them messages one at a time a video message personally where it’s greeting them okay I hope you’re doing great I noticed this recently I just want to let you know to keep it up it’s about this deep deep personal connection and it kind of over arches it precedes whatever else is lacking you notice your trainings aren’t the best relationship takes everything so much further I love that it says those personal video messages I actually just made a note that permit Dutch to add down on them I know you do a lot with influencers we’ve talked before about that and I know in reach now it’s a lot of influence if you’ve mentioned even on this podcast or Facebook lad whatever we’re doing here a couple times is that the idea behind it is that potential of really connecting with people in a unique way because you know them instead of just reaching out that hey I’ve got this opportunity I want to do this I mean I get hit up with those a dozen times a day but you know whatever does their homework to find out well what’s they really like or what’s what’s he interested in or how could I do that and you’ve got such a great job with that with your influencers and I think that those personal video messages I know what the Alex Kamoze he did that all the time on his sales calls for audio messages for for texting type stuff so I think being able to connect with that you’re right that relationship makes up for a whole bunch of stuff so super cool idea yes well the other thing Sam Padgett wants to know is where was your business at when you clicked your 9 to 5 and how to know the timing was right do you ever know the timings right no no they said when I left my 9 to 5 I want to say I was at five to $6,000 months which is a lot as an entrepreneur I was about six months in and I submitted my one month’s notice I was so scared because this is like uncharted territory for me I was new to the world of even entrepreneurship didn’t notice was like a thing and so I was really really nervous and actually the day after I submitted notice my biggest client brought social media in-house so I lost 50% of my revenue and income at that time and I was so scared so was I ready not at all but what I have to say is that the action that I continue to take even when I was scared and I was like do I go back to my job do I find a new job or do I just keep trying to make this work that made such a difference you know and from from where I stand at this point I don’t recommend leaving if you don’t have a safety net in place or at least a really solid plan and things are starting to come together unless you can handle that if you’ve got a family you’ve got bills be careful about making the decision to jump unless you are very very certain that things are coming together the way that you envision them coming together so I’m not somebody that preaches to jump before you’re ready but you will never be truly ready so I would say I was at five to six thousand dollar months and I wasn’t ready and then I certainly wasn’t ready as soon as I lost that client and then I just made it happen no I think that’s part of it sometimes you just really have to make it happen I don’t there’s no other way of doing it I mean my personal stories that way where it’s like you know what okay it is what it is deal with it move forward and make it happen oh absolutely Dave and I’ll tell you that after I lost that client I was like ugly crying for days I was like what did I just do like I just turned down this amazing job like is this the biggest mistake of my life it was really scary and I wrote a book during that time because I was just I had to mourn that idea that I would never live a life of security ever again it’s risk from here on out so there was this mourning process that I went through and when I look back over the last I’ve only been about a year a year and maybe two months year in three months you know we just celebrated our first $70,000 months on my business and I imagine what if I would have gone back to that job and said just kidding I want to stay I never would have experienced this kind of exponential growth massive congratulations $70,000 and month-out is killing it it really excited for you that’s just awesome thank you things I’m so I just love I get goosebumps every day but I do too much are you doing it’s your bank account now Mike I know but what are some of the most useful ROI measurements to share results with clients that’s your Mylene clear Perry well I mean the thing with ROI it’s different for social media than it is for Facebook Ads if you’re running Facebook Ads you can straight up track the actual ROI the revenue that you are generating from every single dollar of advertising but if you’re using social media it’s tough because there is no perfectly trackable ROI but here is what I am going to say about social media and this might be one of my snarky comments that ever made in my life it is not not geared towards anyone in general but any person who says there’s no ROI in social media you keep doing it without social media I’ll keep building with social media and you let me know when you’re ready for a job at my company because we’re going to go yeah social media cannot be ignored whether there is you know a trackable ROI or not it’s something that’s determining the businesses that are thriving and succeeding in a time where tons of big-box retailers and everything are closing down well with that said are there certain platforms do you prefer over the others absolutely I am a huge fan of Facebook Facebook is my favorite I love the groups I love the page I love everything about Facebook is awesome but that things that I also really enjoy Twitter I found it a great place to connect yes you Peter dinner oh my gosh I’ve never been able to figure twitter out ever I should put you through my five day challenge you’ll have I do yeah you’ll have one to five thousand more followers by the end of this of the challenge so let’s get you on that but Twitter is so powerful Dave it’s great for connecting with people I’ve found that when you ask the right questions and put the right content on Twitter you get an amazing response like I tested it can’t live without Twitter I’m just kidding it’s Twitter and Facebook are my two absolute favorite crazy eyes yes that’s where I’m definitely in your challenge so signed me up for sugar is definite so I think that’s it mate tell me as you as we look at kind of the direction when you’re working with your clients how do you find out what is the right approach as far as where do you start with the client is each client totally different you kind of have a roadmap you start with yes yes and yes okay every single client is totally different one of the biggest things though everyone gets so hung up on like strategies and platforms and all of these different things and the reality is all of these platforms are just channels to accomplish goals so I start with everything one of my clients looking at their goals what are their goals and how do we determine what success in partnership is if we’re able to determine what that success in partnership looks like then I just get to pick the platforms but I want to use for that every single social media platform can be used to success and that’s why I think it’s so hard to pick one we also use webinars like use Instagram use Twitter Pinterest is the new you know Google and there’s all these it’s so distracting but the reality is every single platform has the ability to create success for your business it’s just a matter of picking which ones are the most efficient so I start with looking at their goals before I create any strategies but then from there I create a road map for each client’s it’s completely customized I love that well this is gonna be totally different question and that is I’m really curious to find out because I get this asked all the time I’ve been an entrepreneur for forever basically I go I get asked all the time far as well how do you work my wife I’ll be celebrating 24 years this coming November and so it’s one of the things how do you work together with a spouse who has a wife like so your husband based how did your husband work with you and how do you work with your husband and maintain a happy marriage and raising families and keeping the balance even though a balance doesn’t exist now it does exist I love what Russell said on his podcast recently where he said great things don’t come from balance and it’s really true so a lot of people watching this might relate to this my husband is not an entrepreneur there’s no part of him that wants to be an entrepreneur there might be time for he’ll try things but that’s just not who he is he is the consistent he likes consistency he’s like the foundation the rock in our house where I’m like whoo let’s do I’m crazy but of course that yields itself to so many challenges what happens when your spouse doesn’t see everything that you’re putting in and how it all pays off especially in the beginning and you’re comfortable working 100 hours a week so for us the hardest thing was realizing that he wasn’t an entrepreneur and realizing that he does not fit in my business at all and nor should he we do not know that’s a joke would oh it was so tough but honestly the second we realized that I was trying to fit a square peg into a round hole and it didn’t work that was actually a huge relief for both of us so people ask me all the time he’s listening right now so he’s probably bring your mom okay he wants to like no he’s really shy actually on so people ask me what is your husband do it well you plays tennis and he plays go and no just kidding he also like picked up the girls and drop some mock waves to small kids and he is he’s kind of become like our household organization for now but my husband’s on this journey of figuring out what is his passion and because my business was taking off he has the ability now to truly take some time in Cisco what does he love he doesn’t even know yet you know what I mean I love that oh I love that sure you don’t want to say anything there he’s like hiding calm at all all right so I’ve got to know of course I’m just getting started here and Facebook’s going crazy so I’ve got a million things everyone wants to know about his five day challenge clear thing by the way okay I can put it together I add it as a tabbed in my website I don’t have it available for everyone it’s a part of actually social media United so that’s a part of the University the five day Twitter challenge and it’s something where you know that’s what actually grew me from two thousand six hundred followers to over 16,000 now Wow and keep in mind guys I’m still so new like I’m not anybody yet do you know what I mean so when I get followers I need to fight for them it’s not that I have some like celebrity or anything a lot of times people are like I have no idea where you are so I have to work for it just as hard as anybody who’s starting out so I love that so I’ve got one other things people are asking as far as what software you used to schedule your social media posts oh I have one that I’m absolutely obsessed with and that is post planner I love post planner I’m not a fan of HootSuite I’m not a fan of buffer post planners great for curating and scheduling content the only thing it doesn’t have is analytics but I just love it so much for the ease of curation of high quality content that I could never switch to another scheduler I love that by the way let your husband know that Catherine summer Dylan says I love her her husband is a fortunate man oh thank you he just said he agrees I mean I would probably have to have you on another time because these questions are coming in faster than I can answer them so thank you what I would do want to find out though as as you take a at at social media what are some of the things that you’re paying attention to as far as what do you see as new upcoming trends that people should be paying attention to hands-down one of the things I’m seeing is social media becoming a place where people who are authentic are really thriving because people are starting to really sense when something is a promotion or when something is manufactured I’m starting to sense that you know influencers are great if they’re being authentic but often they’re just getting paid for something and then they you know put the random product placement into their photos and what I sense happening is really really authentic social media being really prevalent people don’t want to feel like they’re being sold to all the time so relationship building through social media that’s what I pay attention to what an influencer goes into their comments and reply to people or even if it’s their social media manager doing that I still think that’s incredible attention to detail so really really building strong relationships please from a comment level is huge another questions come up and that is how hard advance you plan your posts usually no more than a week only because sometimes things can change really fast especially for me in my personal social media social media changes algorithms change text changes and it can all change so fast that I don’t want to be posting about one platform and then the next week is no longer there so I personally am a fan of scheduling one week out at a max connect going in and daily you know adding daily content so some people like to set it all up on a one-month plan and forget it I’m not a fan of that I really like having an interactive touch and feel with my social media the other thing two days I really look at Hawaii everything’s performing how and why and what was doing well on this how can we do more of that what was the emotion behind it let’s plug that into future posts so I am very like analytical from a social sense how is this performing what are people liking and that’s where I decide what’s going to come into play in the future and it changes now yeah that’s it’s funny I was talking with Brandon Hampton who you know built Tai Lopez’s Instagram up and all this kind of stuff and trying to give it you know formula you know two to five this is primarily Instagram you know two to five stories less than 20 minutes on its lives two to five two or three post into three videos and I’m writing all this down and basically says but reality is Dave all that changes tomorrow so don’t worry about it up much they already did right now my wife look I appreciate the fact you don’t go more than a week because it does it just changes and I think definitely it can be really authentic and I think more than a week you just there’s no way you can really connect with people no and I will say if there’s only one platform that I don’t use for my business necessarily and that’s Instagram so Instagram is a very real look at like my life it’s just all of the latest photos that’s the only one I don’t really use a strategy on so it’s like the least engage you know it’s the worst platform by far but it’s one where it’s like I’ll put up a picture of my kids and you know sometimes they do that on my personal profile but not on all my other social media very cool well again people are just blown up how amazing you are here email listen to it Carlos Gonzalez or email list building party is awesome so cool that’s free the three course that I put together it’s so fun so I guess I guess if anyone wants to join it it’s all talking about you know how to use click funnels efficiently to build your wrapping things up here any other value bombs you know drop on our audience here oh my gosh well first and foremost this is kind of one of my favorites so one of the things with Facebook Ads that is one of my favorite things to do is completely selfish there’s no ROI in it it’s just really fun is to target people that are going to events that you’re going to and to create ads that are intentionally going to go to people based on specific criteria so for example this is so crazy I haven’t told that I’d cooperate but before my high school reunion I actually targeted everybody that I went to high school with in those same years and sent them my latest stuff that was going on so that I didn’t have well enjoy hahaha that’s the power of Facebook advertising you can get very targeted and look they don’t for example I’m going to podcast movement here at the end of August so what would be your strategy for me if I’m going to plot so taper gamble to people I want to connect with Amy Porterfield it was did a great job for us as far as expert seekers but I want to make sure obviously thank her for that and then Pat Flynn who’s I’ve known for a long time we’ve gone back and forth but his huge lead pages for him and I need to persuade him in a very kind gentle way that he’s going down the dark path to oblivion again thank you I can say a much worse word than that that’s a good one yes so you can get pretty specific with Facebook targeting there’s this amazing article if you guys are interested in this and this is like like I saw this is completely selfish really this keeps you interested in what you do but there is this article about a guy who priced his roommate by creating ads that completely were tailored to him so what you can do is it explains a couple of different steps that he did but he basically used his roommates interest or email even possibly to send his roommate really creepy advertisement that basically made it seem like he was stalking him which is hard so all those ideas with you later date they’re actually really cool will be on definitely for sure yes well again Rachel I know you got a lot going on and you’ve been so kind with your time and I’m so excited to introduce you to you may not know her as well some other people that’s only because you haven’t been around the block as she has so Allison Prince I’m so excited welcome to the show yay thank you so much for having me I’m so excited oh I am again I have just been looking so forward to this podcast for the longest time it’s impossible to get you on because you’re so busy but I think that’s the coolest thing about it I mean for one you’ve been a massive success online and the cool thing is you can add you’ve been able to sell millions of dollars in physical products on all sorts of different platforms and I think the coolest thing right now is you’ve got this whole program 0 to 100 K and really teaching people what your daughters have done and that is how in a hunt fishing they with the sold over a hundred thousand dollars of product in nine months I mean that’s just the coolest coolest story ever and I love it yeah it is fun and just to add a little bit more spice to that story there were 10 and 13 at the time and I’m open up their lockers they drool to get their lockers open but yet they come home and I’d be like oh you just sold five thousand dollars today and they’re like wait what how much despised $1 no my fault that was Oddie pretty fun learning experience for them well I think at that point they could hire someone to open their locker for them yeah that’s it yep we joked about that and now my 13 year old she just turned 16 she’s a regular driver’s license so she keeps telling us that she’s just going to hire uber to come to girls I’m right now you’re not you’re walking oh I just it’s again one things I’ve loved about the very first time with that it was just you’re just so down to earth you’re so caring and nurturing you’re such a family person and I just love you care so much better as we are kind of getting a whole podcast thing going one things you and I were talking that offline was this whole idea as far as this whole hater thing and how you can give again it give so much and get all said you get this one hater who’s not willing to implement anything and it just it’s like this cancer in your group and your organization that just touches your heartstrings so I feel bad yeah that’s one thing that I’ve learned I know like with in e-commerce I can easily set up customer service agents and things like that you kind of live behind your screen right and so you don’t really get the haters they don’t really affect you as much but then when you put your face out there like it’s my face all over the screen it’s my story it’s my daughter’s out there and then you get a hater and you’re like oh oh I’m taking out a little bit personal and it’s kind of hard and it does it can really suck you in and so I had to hire a mama bear making sure that she gets through to the haters because and I don’t I just I think no matter where you go in this world people are just not going to like you and if you stop and you really get yourself sucked in you’re not going to go anywhere so what are the resources how do you block that out and how to keep moving forward because I know that this Korsak I can see the results from these people in this group and it is literally changing their life and I’m not going to let this one person slow me down no way there’s so much good out there that you just gotta block out and I think you need to have people who support you to help you to block it out I am such a huge believer in that I think that’s the critical part especially when when you feel that it’s little your calling or your mission in life to get your message out to the world and again we’ve talked about this a ton as far as experts secrets you’re a member of our inner circle you spend a ton of time with us here in Boise and that thing ever been successful ever well thank you I think it’s just for me it was such an amazing thing when I saw you on stage here with Russell and he was basically giving your kind of your your webinar pitch and you went home and then actually implemented that and the partner was so touching is how passionate you are about it and the how how much you truly care about the success of those people who work with you it’s not just it’s not a money grab it’s seen one of those things where you can make the money you’ve done the money that’s not the issue I hope that people who are listening understand that when you’re out there building a business especially if you’re in a coaching type of a business or in a in a business that really touches people’s lives like yours does that you you really do you have to take it on as it is a calling look for me it says divine calling where you know that what you’re doing really is almost an inspired mission in your life because of the impact it’s going to have on families and I think we’ll all agree yes I think we had to go through these steps right I had to go through the last almost ten years of digging being in the trenches and having good things happen and having bad things happen that rollercoaster ride of entrepreneurship right for me to be able to tell the stories and to be able to help people and I think they hate be careful of this because I did it and I don’t want you to go down that route like I think because of that experience because I’ve been financially blessed and that was amazing like I loved learning it but when I see other people doing it other people changing their lives making money a lot faster than I did it’s fulfilling to me and it makes me internally happy and that’s my drive that’s what keeps me going is I hear from these these families I have families doing it and I have teenagers doing it I have moms doing I have dads doing it and they’re paying off debt they’re going on vacation they’re buying their dream home I just had one family he just quit his job to do this full-time he’s paid off his cars he’s got Piazza’s house I’m never like to yourself that’s happening and it makes me so excited for them and it makes me want to do it over and over again Alice I just love that if you don’t mind because I think it’s really cool is share with people some of the types of products you’re talking about here uh so that other people are selling or that I am personally selling uh what I love is the ones your daughters were selling and don’t just give some ideas as far as what other people are selling and how literally some of these products as you made mention it it’s paying people’s paint things off they’re buying homes they’re changing their life me I love this whole idea as far as the e-commerce opportunity that exists and yet so many people still don’t believe it and I think the best thing is if you don’t mind kind of sharing with people with the types of products because to me there are things I would have never thought would have worked seriously so you want to know the secret to this yes if everyone who died now we’re going to go out other secret tell me tell me please it’s like the dumbest thing ever but it has worked for me and I train my pins how to do it I train everybody in this course on how to do it if you don’t have to have like this huge shark tank idea you only have to find the training products you sell what other people are buying which there’s sites out there that show you what the training products are so for instance my daughter’s they this is so dumb because it’s such it’s such a little thing but they sold a hundred thousand dollars on scarves you know like the cigars that are in every store all around the world and billions and billions have been sold well beiges jumped on that bandwagon and they sold a hundred thousand dollars in scarves that’s not a new invention that is not as sure I could take idea at all you don’t have to come up with this brilliant idea you just sell what other people are selling now I want to put a little like clause on that don’t like knock their stuff off right you like a scarf that that’s not patented that’s not special it’s not branded right they just found that an infinity scarf was like the circular type scarf was selling really well and so they just kept bought the commodity in China and then just started selling it and they sold one hundred thousand dollars so it’s not like it’s so easy and you just watch sites and find out what’s trending and then you just sell it you don’t it’s not a hard process that really you just have to tell me what’s trending method I love that but I think it’s we’ve tried to talk about that so many times whether it’s what you’re selling whether it’s traffic just get in front of the traffic instead of trying to create the traffic I mean it’s there’s so many practical applications to what you just said you know yeah what Allison one of the things that I’ve been so fascinated by with you and that is you’re an amazing mentor and then yet at the same time you also are very big on finding mentors and so if you don’t mind if you could kind of share with people one how do you find a mentor and then also how do you become a good mentor okay so first of all if I’m a good mentor you have to be an inner circle no I’m just kidding but seriously here’s a little plug sit in a circle and any in your inner circle people of litter listening oh my goodness it is such an amazing group to be in people are reaching out to me left and right about this opportunity this opportunity that I would have never ever been able to do because get so if you’re not an inner circle and entered the inner circles clothes get on the waiting list number one and have numbers to find another group find mentors that can help you like Liz Benny has helped me tremendously on how to set up my webinar like she has been such it she’s a pro at it right she’s so good with webinar and she sells her Kapow course and is doing so amazing with it and she has just reached out and been such an amazing person to help and then of course Russell Brunson he’s like king of mentor right there I can call him he blocks him anytime so amazing and then other stuff that’s happening I don’t want to let out any secrets yet but some other things are happening happening with that just wouldn’t be possible but I don’t have the bandwidth to do like being on this podcast is going to introduce them to so many more people that I’m so grateful for so get in groups and find people that you can trust that really have good souls good that are just good people that’s who you want to surround yourself with and this group totally habits so I count my blessing all the time about it well how do you I’d give I know I’ve your story’s kind of funny just because of how we met in Vegas at Affiliate Summit West but if if you’re if you were to find if your help I could Russ is not the first mentor you’ve ran across so what are some other tips or tricks you would have to tell people how do they find those types of good mentors you know I think you just start asking questions right and you start if you go in social media you’re going to find a lot of good and bad right but then just start listening to the group as a whole it’s a they’ve got a Facebook group or a Facebook page if it’s positive if it’s uplifting if it’s inspiring if it helps you to want to be a better person then I think that’s the person that you reach out to right if you get on and you’re just like oh I just feel like it’s money money money money or something that’s not within your standards or what you believe and it’s not going to be a good fit and then you just send them an email and if they don’t respond but that’s okay do it again and do it again kind of like the dream 100 right just get out there start pushing yourself and trying to meet these people go to conferences shake their hands a lot are going to brush you off which is fine you don’t want too many ways but there’s going to be some that reach back to you and then just figure out how you can work together and what you can do and a lot of there’s a lot of good people out there that want to help you just have to get and get around their face and you start talking to them I love it thank you so much on the flip side of the coin that is you obviously are an amazing mentor because I’ve seen the size of your group and how fast it’s growing so you’re getting excessive things but how do you become a good mentor for others excuse me I think what it is is just listening right if they’ve got problems if they’ve got questions if they’ve got concerns if they’re like Kay Allison did you see this and I’m like oh my gosh I didn’t see this and it is literally opening up your ears and taking back that feedback even that lady that is like the hater right that keeps attacking me on every Oh every single plays possible like I look at those a mighty get with a grain of salt I’m at K how can I improve how can I be better and not take it like they’re attacking me or I need to be on the defense all the time but I listen to them and then I use those words back to answer their questions and so it opens that up to not like oh my gosh allison is Stonewall she’s not there she’s actually a real person she wants to help out and once I can convey that then the group grows and then they’re like allison is amazing or Allison knows this which I’m not all I’m doing is I’m just listening to them because I truly do care about them and I think that helps with the mentoring it’s because I’m listening just like you’d want your mentor to listen to your issues right you just do the same thing to the people that you are mentoring if you just just listen I thank you so much as as the person’s got a very large movement as you’re growing this group one of the parts it’s always hard yeah and we saw the same thing with Russell was being able to manage your own time growing your business while the same time helping others how do you do that okay so we actually my husband I had this big talk last night because I’m failing at it at the moment because not only am i trying to grow my course right like I still sell online I still have my company actually has seven companies right now because that’s the bread and butter right I need to be able to be there and know the e-commerce trends and know what’s happening you know the best way to post on Facebook for the best reach to organically I don’t want to paint money to Facebook well the little least amount of money that I can as possible so I’m out there constantly trying to grow my businesses and then I bring it over into the course and I’m like hey guys look at this look at this look how if you post this way on Facebook you will triple your reach organically and then I’m trying to grow my course so I’m trying to balance everything plus I’m a mom of four beautiful children you all want to start to which have their own business and then the two other ones want to start their own business and I’m like blah how do I do this so yesterday we were just kind of gone through the 8020 rule and just about how I can get like what’s taking my time and what can I hire out what can I do how can I help her out like the mama bear she’s been with me from day one on the course I brought her in she just did a small task ended up loving her name’s Julie she’s amazing and she ends up answering about 90% of all my emails which is so grateful for her and then okay what’s the maximum eating up all my time and then I need to be able to hire that out so that I can really focus on what’s working on social media and then how to grow or what’s working in e-commerce and then how to grow my group because that’s what the people came into the group for is you know what is working with what is not working stuff like that which you want to hear something that’s ringing out Facebook right now absolutely okay so this quadrupled my organic reach when you upload a picture if you upload a picture into carousel and upload that same picture ten times you know what I’m talking about yep okay yeah so just add carousel and then add that picture of ten times in there and then set it to square not landscape and then add some of the free music from Facebook and then publish it you will get well not guaranteed but we have been mooning about four times organic reach just by adding to the carousel versus uploading one picture crazy huh so basically have the same picture they’re ten times so they’re seeing the exact same picture but it’s just looping through with music yep oh my gosh isn’t that crazy ah all the nuances scream I know awesome it is it is and it’s working and so that’s when I come back into the groove of Mike hey guys you want to see something and they’re like so it’s been really fun to be able to do that but yeah I am working through going through what can I take off my plate so I can really focus on my core and who I am and not get burnt out I don’t know how you guys don’t get burnout usually like my heroes like I see you like you’re sleeping at the ClickFunnels™ [Music] we have a lot of fun and again honestly it comes back to what you made mention of Aneta support I have the most amazing supportive wife and family in the world and without them there’s no way in the world we got your wife she’s darling I know that thank you she is have you never thought that with her you know I have it we were joking around about that the other day because she’s wanted to start a podcast like well let’s get your podcast going and I’ll bring you on and tell me what we can do so you know and on how husbands and wives and entrepreneurship like house how it works between a husband and wife nobody I’m only laughing because it is on food we had this conversation so she was I suppose you guys don’t know my wife I referred to as princess my name’s Carrie we’ve been together guys for celebrating 23 23 years 24 years there’s November as far as being married we’ve got four boys and if it wasn’t for her I absolutely could not do anything that I’ve done and I’ve done a ton of crazy entrepreneurial things over the last 23 years been married but it was so one of the things she’s passionate about right now is fitness and nutrition and health and she had a heart attack except six years ago and it’s crazy there it is because soon we’re a-z health but it was all genetics and all that crazy stuff and so she’s really passionate about helping women specifically you know moms between the old age about 32 you know 55 or so it’s really you know he was enjoy their life and all that kind of fun stuff and so she was over a small group here in town that they work out at Russell’s gym once a week with Russell’s wife Colette and so they did this today and we got done and we were sitting there talking with Russell and Colette and carry a knife and to the four of us there and one of the things we were talking about was you Russell of course you had its camera out filming someone’s going on matt is that you know what what you guys need to do is you need to create a you have Colette on she had a speaking funnel hacking life as she actually we did this big thing on Facebook as far as who should be the next keynote speaker and Colette was one of the people a lot of people wanted to hear from it so I think there’s probably a lot of truth to that because it’d be fun also hear from your husband to see because he’s been with you through all this craziness as well and I think that that silent spouse at times if they’re the ones who actually do all the real work and I couldn’t do without my wife I know seriously like Jared ever since we got into this when I started my first e-commerce business bless his heart he is a physical therapist and the kids were just super stressed but he looked at me and said Allison I think things are really happening I am going to quit my job and I’m going to let you fly and we’ll see what happens and if it doesn’t happen I can go back and get another job and for him to be able to do that to quit his job to quit his career to put everything into me meant the world like that was so amazing for him to do we’d like to stop your career and to take care of kids and laundry and dishes and all that stuff like he became the full-time mom and I’m so grateful that he was willing to do that for me it’s just a very I don’t know I I respect the spouses of yours so incredibly much because I’ve seen what my husband does I’ve seen the sacrifices that he does on a daily basis and I know it’s just a very humbling thing to know that I have such an amazing support that lives with me and just everyday you can do this Alison you can do this you’ve got this even on the hard days even on the good days he’s always there for me and yeah and whenever he comes on at Facebook live there like the highest Facebook lives ever because they all want another uterus I love it I again look forward to spending more time with him I you know I I know you guys are high school sweethearts and it’s neat to see it’s neat to see relationships last especially because being an entrepreneur is not easy I don’t care who you are and all of us have ups and downs and you know people never never will no one really ever sees all the downs as much as we try to make sure if people see the highlights and stuff but I think I agree with it completely there’s no one more important than that supportive spouse significant other whatever it might be for you as as an entrepreneur it’s really to to keep going because man it can get it can get dark at times but vasya there’s nothing more exciting than celebrating highs with those would be be love the most so that’s right so whoever’s listening to this podcast right now push pause for just a second go hug your biggest cheerleader whether it’s your husband wife whatever your boyfriend your girlfriend your mom or your dad whoever it is quahog them in town thanks so things are putting up with me totally totally agree with that you know I get chills just hearing you talk about this kind of stuff that’s one of things is most dear dear to me for sure there’s there’s nothing more important than having someone in your back that corner for you just need again I don’t care if it’s your mom your dad brother sister best friend whatever it might be whoever it might be I agree totally agree with you on that Allyson share some love and let them know how much you appreciate it for sure that’s right and say it from Alison and Dave they’ll just look at you like what I love it so tell me is your start to to take your business to this next level you got seven businesses going right now nuts I mean that’s crazy it is are you doing bid down that road before at multiple streams of income and for me actually got the point where it was easier to shut a whole bunch of them down just so I can focus on one but some people like yourself can manage that and I am so happy for you because people that they were actually in the process of selling four of them right now and truly focused I mean you guys say all the time Russell says that you say it Stephen says it you might say all the time just focus on one thing right and so that’s one of the things that we’ve been trying to do over the last few months I just started the inner circle in January so like six and a half months ago just barely and that’s when I was super scattered you didn’t quite know what to do and then an even Mandy she’s just like focus just focus on the thing that year that fulfills you the most so over these past six months I’ve been able to say okay which business makes me internally happy and it’s been this it’s been teaching others it’s been showing people how they can get out of the nine-to-five how they can pay off their cars pay off their houses and do the things that they really meant to do in this life besides go sit behind a desk I mean who wants to do that not me like I couldn’t it would drive me crazy I know I know even though we are sitting behind a desk right now doing a podcast but that’s because we chose to do it in a location we wanted to right that’s exactly right fortunately have standing desks and wireless headphones so I keep walking reacts I’ve like pace all the time crisis oh good I don’t know if I told you this but about a month ago I was able to go spend three weeks in Thailand on a volunteer trip with my family what is all that that was crazy cool it was so amazing because I was still able to run my businesses so that was just we’ve wanted to do it for sixteen years be able to take our kids over and then so we went to like a very poor place in Thailand where we got to go work at a school and help lay concrete very manual leaver and they didn’t have the tools we had to use like a little tiny kid shovel and little tiny kids buckets to move the concrete back and forth and it was such an amazing experience for my kids and of course for me but what was so cool about it is what you guys have taught and what Russell has taught that I was able to still run my business while still living my dream and being with my children and going and volunteering so you guys are onto something really good thank you so for those people may not know how to do that can you give them three or four tips on exactly how you’re able to scale a business like that and literally be able to live what we refer to obviously you know the internet type of life where you can take your family for three months to a foreign country serve at the same time not lose business yeah so it was three weeks I have not – three months yet I think I would miss my house like my bed so much I like my bed okay so I think what it is is just finding amazing people on your team right the ones that are your mama bears or your Papa bears that will do amazing things for you so one of my ecommerce businesses I have a team and they know that I would give my shirt off my back for them and in turn they would do that for me so I’ve built this team that we support each other when we want to go so one of the team member she just went to Alaska for ten days and I was able to step in for her but I mean she had such a good system already running that I didn’t really have to do a lot but if anything happened people knew they could come to me so I see what it is just building up a very strong team that believes in you believe in your vision and then you also have to believe in them and believe in their visions too and give them opportunities and give them what they need to feel fulfilled whether that like one of my gals she can work from home and she wants that she wants wheels work from home shifts three littles at home and she’s amazing and I know by letting her work the hours that she walks her and giving her the creativity that has turned her into one of my most loyal employees and I just truly appreciate her and she knows it and I think that’s with every employee like I tell them how much I do appreciate them and how much they’re part of the team and so if I do step out there right there they’re going to be there and then if they need to go they know I’m going to be there for them I think that is fantastic I know that sometimes it’s an entrepreneur the hardest part is trusting somebody else yeah especially with your little baby how have you been able to do that as you’ve hired people and been able to literally put that kind of trust in them okay but wait let’s go back how do you think entrepreneur entrepreneur I like the way you say it it’s got like an extra syllable in it I mean one last level but I think it’s pretty cool okay entrepreneur though I put I put it probably extra RNA didn’t die alternator entreprenuer so an entrepreneur that’s probably never been able to spell it right oh my gosh I think someone Albert you should trademark that no Dave I think that’s really good or I’ll do that for all the people who can but fell under preneur oh okay I totally forgot what you asked do not even touch people oh okay so little steps baby steps so for instance my VA for my course her name is Julie I brought her in and I had her do just a small task and she did amazing so then I said hey would you onto another task and she did amazing again and then the third time after she has three small tasks brought her on and she just keeps amazing me time after time after time again but if I bring someone in ask them to do a task and they stink at it then I’m like okay thanks so much I don’t have to fire them I don’t have some it’s not awkward I just bring them in and they just do a small thing for me and then if I like a more I give them more and that’s you know what I mean but you don’t offer them the whole world on day one you just test them out and have them do a couple things and then if you like and if you like to work with them if you like I mean they could be the most amazing work worker in the world right but if you don’t like them it’s not going to work out and so I think if you just testing with small things especially in the beginning when launching a business you’re not going to you know marry into them right but once you start getting some and trusting them then you bring them on and then when if there’s any one thing that I did learn I wish I would have learned faster is fire fast if some really agree oh my god totally agree with that I wish I would have known that Skinner and to really listen to your guy if you feel like something’s off something’s probably off because your gut will tell you very as I get tells you I think faster than your brain because your brain will kind of say oh no it’s given the benefit of the doubt but if your gut is telling you fire then do you need a firearm and don’t play the game just get rid of them it’s not worth it that’s awesome Allison I can’t thank you enough for your time day this has been fantastic as we kind of get close to wrapping things up what any other tips or tricks for an entrepreneur or entrepreneur that you recommend yeah I think it would be to do what Russell says to the men a hashtag that is hashtag do what Russell says but really not like the whole it seemed the whole ClickFunnels™ team and I know he talks about it too like Russell is amazing but he is just one piece right there’s all the people that are there willing to help you to help you sick speed like they’re doing all the dirty work for us so we don’t have to fail which is so nice of you guys thank you but seriously just listen to the stories and watch the movies and you can’t do it or that’s all you’ll be doing all day because they produce such amazing content but it really is there they’re setting us groundwork for us and like with me helping me just give so many steps that are just fluffy steps and get to what I really am wanting to do there’s so much good that they produce that just listen to it and do what they say and listen to the podcast they’re free these podcasts are free right you can listen to it while you’re cooking dinner running or whatever they there’s no excuse why you’re not you shouldn’t be listening to this stuff so I really think it is listen to mentors like you guys like I’ll just listen and then do what they say don’t reinvent the wheel you don’t need to well thank you well I know a lot of people don’t want to reach out to you what’s the best way for them to empowered of why can they do this why can they change their lives why can they make money online and it’s because I can it’s why can we do this because I can write and to have that mentality of being able to go out and start and dream and make their million bajillion dollars and change the world whatever they want to do right and why can they do it because they can’t I actually Dave I just got shirt yesterday this way because I can plan on them I want one often join their v-necks are kind of feminine so I’ll get the male version in and I’ll send them unless you want to make sure my wife would love it I’m sure you often wonder what it is like we’re trying to build this community of thinkers and doers because one thing to think and dream about your business that’s another thing to actually do it and so to create a community of doers and action takers is what we’re it’s a community of just supportive you can do this yeah you might no matter crappy day well who cares do it in those same results here is your host Dave Woodward welcome back to Monday motivation on funnel hacker radio I’m your host Dave Woodward today’s episode actually comes from a video we did for expert secrets book launch and this is a story from Alison Prince if you want to see the actual video you can see it over on a funnel hacker TV channel on YouTube but the OTO here is killer so I want to let her just go ahead and take it away with her story so listen to Alison Prince so I have two friends which are still my business partners to this day and we decided about seven eight years ago to create an online community and start a blog we had heard like all these crazy things about people were making money we devised our master plan on how we’re going to have like the coolest blog ever I’ll tell you what after I think it was two months we actually saw money come in and we were like out-of-control excited I build a site on another platform and started to sell products and that started to take off so fast I was finding product here in America I couldn’t keep it in stock and I needed to go over to China and oh man this is I look back at it at it and I just like shake my head I got on a plane I don’t know Chinese I don’t know I’ve never been over there my background is a Madison science teacher and we started finding manufactures and we started importing and bringing them back into the United States and we would sell products so quickly and we started building this community a very very passionate people who are excited about our brand her excited about our product and we would sell out in a matter of minutes I’ve become an expert in selling online I know ourselves over the last seven years I’ve built seven businesses I know crazy huh Supermarine ecommerce I do have the blog and then I just launched an educational site where most of them are in e-commerce and there’s been one that in just a few years to grow it to multi-million dollar brand when she was really like crazy amazing to be able to do this I learned step by step on how to do this whole process I invested I grew I brought on really good team members and I just learned the night step by step by step and one day I had this little like paradigm shift I guess and my husband and I we were talking about it and we noticed that our kids were sleeping in way too long on a Saturday we decided as parents that we were going to give them some choices and that was either to start a business or to start doing more chores so that they could have responsibilities they decided to build a business I wanted them to see if they could do it but I didn’t want to hold their hand the whole way we gave him a couple tools we said Kate go for it and this is like this this is crazy to me they sold over a hundred thousand dollars in nine months so then I was thinking about some of my past experiences and how I’ve talked to other people and they’re living paycheck to paycheck and it breaks my heart I even had one friend who at one point in her life that she came up to me and I I just said me what what’s going on and she said well I have to buy him every pen for my son and I don’t have I don’t have the money to do it but she was afraid that she couldn’t afford it and so after what my daughter’s experienced like this high this amazing height that junior high and elementary kids could do and going back on that experience of my friend who couldn’t afford an EpiPen for her child I knew my life has been changed by it my daughter’s life has been changed by selling online and it was my turn I mean it was my turn to shift and start educating start showing people what I have learned called my sister oh and I had a I got a proposal for you she’s like what and she said I said hey would you want to make some money and learn how to make money to fakie yes as a matter of fact I do because my roof is like we need a new roof it’s starting to leak the shingles are blowing off I don’t have any money my husband’s working super hard I’m budgeting I am garage selling I’d love to figure out how to make some more money so I took the process that my daughters did and I gave it to my sister and nine months she sold 129,000 and she got the roof now let’s take this one step cooler she is still doing it and this is a I think like a really cool part I mean just a cool experience after cool experience just a really cool part she wants to adopt a baby and you know what options super expensive it’s going to cost her 40 grand she is just about there to be able to pay for her adoption and pull so last year I did two courses and at the end of the course I felt I felt like I had sold my soul because I had given so much oh I’ve given so much into this course and my knowledge I knew that it changed lives because I’ve had so many people go through it but I didn’t know how to position it in a way for others to see the value of it and so when I came across Russell Brunson and I was listening to his messages and it’s listening to marketing in your car and all the free resources that he gives online it it clicked I start reading his book expert secrets I start reading I start studying it and I didn’t know how to get it from here to here I’ve taken all these classes from Russell I’m doing what he says I believe in it was to see what happened so I set a date which was slow at six six weeks later after I joined inner circle I did my first webinar and that first webinar I sold more than I did in an entire year okay that’s cool and everything right but what I think is cooler is what happened inside of me I felt fulfilled I felt that this I really oh my gosh Russell I’m taking a break and I know he said not focus can buy and because you changed my life and then I get to help change other people’s lives too and I’m sorry I’m crying [Music] so I I did this course and it was different it was different than just selling your product it was me giving my soul in what I truly believed in that can change lives because I know it’s changed mine has changed my daughter’s right there they have money for college now the expert secrets but help me get that message that was stuck in here out and to be able to show others that they can change too because it’s not just a product it’s seriously a life-changing event my daughter’s when they get older and you know if something happens to their husband or they don’t ever get married they have the ability to support themselves they know how to do it they’re getting ready to launch their next business which is so fun to see as a mom expert secret book help me to know the expert that I truly am and to be able to share my secrets with other people this book this experience was able to help me pull out what I truly am good at and be able to share it my secrets with the world it’s been my best business decision I’ve ever made as I’m sitting here you can see this picture of my family that’s what I have to look forward to is I’m happy I’m I get to be with my family in the future I’m excited to be able to go and educate more people to be able to change more people’s lives my husband’s getting involved with it he’s on the webinars with me answering questions and my daughters are in the background listening and they want to launch their class their course – we know this works we know the value of it and now that we know how to present it with Russell’s help we can do it that’s the life is about right being excited passion about what you’re doing and that’s what I found now my name is Alison prince and I am an e-commerce and
