– Hey, this is Russell Brunson again. Welcome to part five of five of my exciting interview with Tai Lopez. If you’ve missed any of the past episodes, go back in the playlist and make sure you watch all of them, because this interview was really, really fun. it was exciting. It took place from 1:00 a.m. to like three or four in the morning. Some of the stuff we said, something I wouldn’t normally tell people in a normal audience. But because I was tired, I was with Tai,

I was showing off. We dropped some really good value and some cool things I think you would love. So, with that said, were about to start the fifth episode. I wanna make sure you are not missing any of them. During this last of this series, we talked about a lot of really powerful things like proximity is power, how to build a team, how to surround yourself with amazing people that’ll help you get to where you want to get to.

So if you’re struggling at all and you’re like I just, I know that people are doing it but I haven’t figured out how to do it yet, I think this interview is gonna help you a ton. A lot of really cool things in here. So with that said, let’s check out this video and afterwards I’ll jump back on and kind of have some final words for you. I appreciate you watching this series and we’ll talk to you after the interview. – What is the one and only thing you must have in your business model to succeed? The foremost, most important technique in building the overall business model. Is it marketing? Is it having, you got a good business partner. That I think is super, in my opinion, business partner is huge. – Man, there’s too many important things. – Good book on that called Working Together by Micheal Eisner.

You’d be surprised how many, what percentage, large percentage of billionaires had business partners. Whether it’s, number one guy for 18 years straight was, not right now, but Bill Gates. He had Paul Allen and then he had Steve Ballmer. You have Warren Buffet, who’s been number two on and off. He had his Charlie Munger, and you just go through the list. And there’s been people who did it without a partner, but the majority of people have partners. So that’s my answer, what’s your answer? –

I think I want to double on down on that. I think it’s huge. You know, I had a lot of businesses prior to ClickFunnels that marginally did well. It wasn’t until we did ClickFunnels. And it was fun, because when we built it, Todd, who’s my co-founder, who built the software, he was working with me kind of as an employee, not really, but kind of as an employee, and we had that in for ClickFunnels, and he’s like okay I want to do this, but I want to be your partner. At first I had this fear of like, oh, but like, this is my business and my all these kind of things. – Right. And luckily I was so grateful, that I was like, you know what, I’m gonna do it.

And I opened it up and what’s so cool is that like, he then went and took that and it became his business. So it wasn’t like nine to five, it became his life. – Yes. – And then after we launch ClickFunnels, we started adding people. Instead of doing what typical people do, and they hire a bunch of employees. I think it was ’cause Avengers had just come out and I love that movie. I was like we need to build an Avenger team. We can, and I read an article, I wish I’d have kept it, because it was so cool, but it said that an A player is worth 32 hundred times more than a B player. – Oh, yeah! – That’s 32 hundred times. – [Tai] Think about a good programmer. –

Yeah so I was like, let’s just get a handful of A players and let’s put them, and that’s going to be what we do. Like your partner he asked me, he’s like, so how many developers were at ClickFunnels? And I was like, I was kind of nervous because he just told me his last company had a hundred and something developers. And I was like, we’ve got 12. – What? – There’s only 12 developers in ClickFunnels. I’m like, yeah. He’s like, how is that possible? I’m like, we only have A players. We literally, that was the whole model. Get the best in the world. And they can do, one good person can do the work of 10, 15, 20 other people.

So, that’s how we’ve done things. – With programmers, they say that one good programmer is a good 30 to 60. We have a drink game campaign coming on Indiegogo. How about people who want to use Kickstarter, Indiegogo to raise money? You worked anything, and done ClickFunnels help them at all on that, because that’s its own kind of funnel. – Yes, I haven’t personally done it, but I’ve seen some people do it where they use ClickFunnels not to sell the product, but for lead gen ahead of time. – Okay. – To try to build up tons of pressure and excitement about their things. So, they thought then to take their Indiegogo video or their Kickstarter video and put it on a ClickFunnels page and just get options, and like pre-sell it. –

Yes. – Build a huge list, build a big following, and then when their thing goes live then they have this huge following they can just push right there and get a lot more traction a lot faster. – So you can use it to generate free clients, free emails, just versus paid stuff. – Yeah. – Be honest, you can use Shopify. It has some similar things. ClickFunnels, each of them have their pros and cons. Some of you are selling on Amazon making a lot of money. And honestly, let’s talk about that for a second. So, to be unbiased here, do you think there’s a time when it makes sense to maybe be up on ClickFunnels and up on Amazon? – Our biggest growth right now on ClickFunnels is Amazon sellers. – Okay, so, tell us how those work. How is that going? – So, a couple reasons why. One is like some people get spooked, because they lose an account, or they know someone who lost an account, and they’re like, if Amazon shuts me down, my business is gone, right? –

Yes. – And so, some people will come, ’cause like I need to control my destiny and have two. And so that’s a big reason why a lot of people do, just to be able to have two places they can sell it. Another big thing people do is, a lot of time they’re using Amazon to generate customers. For example, we had a buddy who sells the cell phone cords, does like a hundred grand a day in cell phone cords things. – What? – He gets them in China for like a penny, and sells them for like 20, 30 bucks. It’s crazy. So the thing comes in the mail. – A penny? – The box comes in the mail. – [Tai] You open it up. There’s your cord, and there’s a big card in the thing that says, hey, if you want a second cord for free, go to whatever.com. It goes to that page, it’s a ClickFunnels page.

They put in their shipping address. Boom, now they’ve got their customer’s contact info from Amazon over here. And now they’re able to sell them all the other stuff they sell. They sell power banks. They sell all the other, that type of product. – Cause it’s only a penny. – Yeah. – And what do they get in? They tell them you get another cord if you sign up to the email list or something? – Yeah, you basically go to this page, fill out your address, they’ll ship you a second cord for free. – Let’s talk about email for a second. Huge thing.

What is ClickFunnels, and what do you see in the future of email marketing? I think in my business I probably make, you know, anywhere from 200,000 to a million dollars a month, just having a good email list in just one of my businesses. Do you see the same trend? Email is still important, it’s not completely replaced? – I love email. I don’t think it will ever be completely replaced. What I’m finding fascinating is, we’re doing a blend now of email and also like FaceBook bot messengers. – Yes. – But using them both together has been really powerful. It’s like you have a message here, and then the FaceBook thing that complements it. –

Walk us through that for people who don’t know. What are you saying? So, we all know, we’ve been to websites, you put your email in and you get on some newsletter list. What are you doing with bot? When we hear the word bot, Are we talking about auto bots? Are we talking about transformers? We’re talking about auto-inserting a message into their FaceBook Messenger? – [Russell] Yeah, so at ClickFunnels we’re finishing out our platform that’ll do bots. And basically, someone will fill in their email address and there’ll be a little button that’ll say, do you also want us to send you this info through Messenger, right? –

They opt into both at once? – Yes. – So, people check a box, and do most people check both? – It’s a really high percent, yeah. So, it’s interesting if you look at, so we have, I think it’s over a million person email list, and I think we have forty thousand people on our Messenger list. – Okay. – And if we broadcast both of them, we get almost the same amount of clicks from each. – [Tai] Really? From just forty thousand? – [Russell] Yes. – [Tai] So if you had a million on the other one, it would be destroying email. – So, we’re putting a lot of effort and energy into the migration of getting people from here to here, and getting them in both places.

Because I also think that it’s also scary, cause it’s all on FaceBook, all on Messenger. If Zuckerberg wakes up one day and decides he hates marketers, it’s gone. So, I’m not saying get rid of email, but I’m saying use them both together, And there’s power in that. – [Tai] The more platforms you’re on, the safer it is. What can an affiliate either to be an affiliate to ClickFunnels, or to any product, how are they–

– Let’s do it for him. How many of you guys wanna be an affiliate and make Tai Lopez more money and make you guys money in the interim? Do you guys have an affiliate program for like– – (squealing) That was from my Pee Wee Herman adventure. – Does Mentor Box have an affiliate program? – Mentor Box does, and so does tailopez.com – [Russell] Okay, so this is what I’d do. This goes back to what I talked about earlier. So, I would go to YouTube, and I would find all the coolest Tai Lopez videos you can find. There’s a bunch of them, right? Find the ones that meant the most to you, and probably theme them out.

So here’s all Tai’s thoughts on cryptocurrency, Or all Tai’s thoughts on whatever. Find the videos, and then make a page that says I’m gonna give you the top ten Tai Lopez videos about cryptocurrencies. Put your email address in here, and I will email you the top ten videos I found. They’re amazing. You’re gonna learn about this, this, all this stuff, right? And that’s step one. So, number two then– – So, you get their email address. – I go to FaceBook yet, and I target Tai’s audiences and my audience, and entrepreneur audience, and Mark Cuban’s audiences, and Tony Robbins’ audience, and I say, come to this page, and I’m gonna give you Tai Lopez’s 10 best videos on this topic, and you spend a little bit of money. People come, they opt in, and then you start building email lists, and as some come in you email them. Here’s the links to the 10 videos.

And then, by the way, did you know that Tai, every single month, curates, him and his partner curate the best books they find, and this really cool thing called Mentor Box. If you click on this link, you can get an account to Mentor Box, and not only are you gonna get all these videos, now you’re gonna get all their books, their best books, every single month, blah, blah, blah. And now they’re affiliates for you, and they’ve got a really unique offer that can go out there. The reason why affiliates lose, is because they’ll go, and they’re like, sign up for your affiliate program.

They’ll get their affiliate link from Mentor Box, and the same link that everybody else on earth is sending, same thing that you’re promoting, same thing everyone’s promoting, and they can’t be profitable, ’cause they’re nothing unique about what they’re doing. – [Tai] Yeah, you gotta make some content. – [Russell] So you take, and what’s nice about it I tell my people, I’m like, go to my channels. I have so much stuff I put out every single day. Find the stuff you like the most. Package it. Give away at an opt in, and then you build a list. And then sell my stuff. And we all win. – So, let’s talk about this for a second. Content.

A lot of people are scared of creating a video. They don’t wanna put their face on there. What do you say to somebody who has a false belief that they can’t create something, some cool videos, cause they’re introverted or they’re nervous, or what do you say? – Probably two things, and then we can go both directions. One is like, even if you’re introverted you can do like, I’m actually super introverted. If you ask my friends at home, every time they see a Facebook Live, they’re like you talk a lot on the camera, you don’t talk in real life. I’m super introverted. You can still do it. That’s number one, don’t be afraid.

Second thing, maybe you really are in a super huge fear. I look at my company. I got some amazing people who work with me, and partners and founders and stuff, and they’re not on video all the time. But I am, so it’s like if you can’t be that person, Find the partner who’s like they wanna do that thing. They wanna be the person in there. And make that the partnership, and that can work as well. – Partner. – Todd Dickerson that coded ClickFunnels, he wouldn’t have ever wanted to be on camera talking about ClickFunnels all day. And that’s like, I can’t code, but I can do that, so we found each other, and made it work.

Most cases introverts and extroverts are the best match. So, if you’re looking for a business partnership, maybe you can partner up. If you look at Warren Buffett is extroverted. He likes to crack jokes. If you go to the Berkshire Hathaway meeting, he’s funny. And then Charlie Munger, he’ll turn to Charlie Munger, who’s an introvert and be like, Charlie, what’s your opinion? And he’ll go, I have nothing to add. Your business partner is an introvert. My business partner, Alex, is visiting, and guess where he has been all day. Locked in a guest room in my house. He’s like, I’m working on something. No one bother me with humans.

But it’s a good partnership. Let’s talk about copy writing, somebody’s asking. How can people make their website the words matter, like it needs to say something awesome. – [Russell] We created a software that helps that, because the copy writing is the hardest part. All you need is to build a page, and it make look really pretty, look nice, but people come and like the words aren’t right. – Yes. – No one’s gonna buy. That’s what it all comes down to. Like the funnel doesn’t matter without the right words, the copy that converts people to buying.

I have a partner named Jim Edwards. He went through all marketing advertisements for the last hundred plus years, and he found all the best converting headlines from all the way back from the beginning of copy writing, like Gene Schwartz, and Gary Halbert, all these people, and combined all these things, put it into software, basically you could type in your product name, and it’s like, I sell this, this is what would benefit, this is what the features you talk about, you fill in some blanks, you click a button, and it pops out like 800 headlines. – Really? – Based on the best headline templates in the world.

And you just copy– – Where do you get this? – It’s called Funnel Scripts. – [Tai] Funnelscripts.com – I have a bunch of friends who are high paid copy writers, who charge anywhere from 15 to $25,000 a letter. And they used to go and they’d give their client a huge client questionnaire, and they fill the whole thing, and they go and spend the next six weeks writing copy. Now, they use a take client questionnaire. They fill it in Funnel Scripts. They click the button, and it pops out the copy, and then they tweak it a little bit, and they send it to the client, and charge the same fees. It’s legitimately crazy – If you don’t know how to write, here’s the thing.

It’s a catch 22. If you don’t know how to write, most people don’t know how to write. You’re not going to make a lot of money. One of the best things they should have taught us in school is copy writing, how to be persuasive. So, what’s some copy writing simple thing? There’s my simple thing. A lot of you guys need to fix your website. If you’re physical location, put the hours. Put the buy button high. I remember one time I couldn’t buy something. It was a website. I wanted to buy something. I searched. I actually sent it to my assistant.

Can you find how to buy? I honestly think they– – I wanna give you money. – No, I think they forgot to put the buy button up. It was like long, and they had written in. And they forgot the buy. So, my technique is keep it simple, stupid. Find out what people want on your website. Hit them with power words. The most powerful word in the English language, they say, according to Frank Lutz, he’s a famous political consultant, he says the word imagine is a power word. Imagine if you lost 50 pounds in the next 50 days. Imagine, you know, people like to, especially in America. So, that’s my quick hack.

What’s a hack for you to be, simple things, besides using this website? – My favorite headline in the world, works for almost everything is how to blank without blank. So, it’s how to, and then you insert the thing they desire the most, without the thing that causes them the most pain. So, for example, I could be like, how to read all these books, without actually ever reading a book. And then I’d give you money, because I wanted to watch the videos and get the whole download, right? – Yep. – ‘Cause like, every market I always start with that.

Okay, what do people actually want? So, how to, and then insert what they desire the most, without the thing that they’re most scared of. – Alright, I have a course where I’ve taught over 20,000 people how to build a social media marketing agency. – [Tai] So, they’re offering social media to end clients. – To businesses, they go around to businesses. They charge one to $10,000 a month. How do they get customers using your techniques. – So, if I was going to a business owner, and I was like what do they desire most?

They want customers coming in their place. So how to get– – Let’s say doctors and dentists. – Okay. – Or restaurants. – Okay. Let’s use dentists then. So, how to get cash paying clients to come into your clinic. They call them clinics? – Dentist office, dentist office. – Without having to, or how to get yeah, how to get cash, whatever, whatever their thing is, right? – Paying. – Paying dental clients. I don’t think most dentists want to sit there on social media, so without spending time on Twitter, Instagram, or Snapchat. –

Okay. – Cause they wanna fix people’s teeth. They don’t wanna be doing these things, right? – Yes. – If you have a social media marketing agency, you make a ClickFunnel landing page. The landing page at the top says, how to get, so if it’s a dentist, how to get 17 new dental clients this year from social media. And then you put without having to ever login to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. – [Russell] That’s a great headline actually. – You like that? – Right there. – You should use that, if you don’t use it, then you hate money.

That’s the only reason. – You hate money. I gotta use that line on people. So they build it on ClickFunnels. They get the headlines up. How would you get dentists to start going to see this page? – I would go to Facebook and target dentists. Pretty easy. That’d be the first spot. The next thing, I know a little about the dental market. If I was going after dentists, I would go to dentaltown.com Dentaltown.com has an email list of like 80,000 dentists you can rent for like five grand. – Really. – I’d buy an ad. I’d pound it out, and I’d have a bunch of clients overnight. – So, you can basically rent email lists. They call it email drops.

You can do an email drop to 80,000 dentists. And you have– – Most industries have those kind of things. I just happen to know dentaltown.com does it for dentists. But most of them have those type of things where people have aggregated the industry, and you can rent ads to go out in the email box. – Thanks so much for being here. – [Russell Brunson] Hey, this is Russell Brunson and welcome to Webinar Funnel Secrets. Now, I wanna quickly show you how to use webinar funnels to run online events and to sell your products to the masses. And then, at the end of this video, I’m actually gonna give you my top converting webinar funnels for free. But before we do that, I wanna explain where webinar funnels came from, how they work, and how you can use them in your specific business. So, to show you initially, I wanna kinda walk you through the layout of what a webinar funnel looks like. Now, it’s a very simple process.

There’s a webinar registration page where you get somebody to register for the webinar, then there’s a confirmation page, where you thank them for being registered to the webinar. And with the webinar funnel, typically you’re integrating with some third part webinar software, like GoToWebinar or Zoom are the two most popular within the Click Funnels community.

So then, the webinar actually happens over there on the other platform, but what’s nice is, because you can control the registration process and the confirmation process, you’re able to get higher conversions and a lot of times, sell other products and services before people even come to the webinar, as I’ll show you here in a minute.

And as somebody registers for the webinar, and before the webinar starts, what we do is we send them emails and take them to what we call indoctrination pages, where each of these pages gives them a video or some kind of training to get them more excited about what’s gonna be happening on the web class. And we’ll have anywhere from one to three confirmation pages, typically, in a normal webinar funnel. And then after the webinar’s over, then we usually set up a webinar replay page where we post the webinar replay and then we send emails to the people who registered for the webinar to go watch the replay before we take it down. And so, that’s kinda what a basic webinar funnel looks like.

Now, if we were to take this and plug in some actual pages, this is kinda what it would look like. First page, they register, then the confirmation page, here’s the indoctrination page as we send them videos, getting them excited about what’s happening, and then the replay page happens at the end. Okay, so the first question I wanna answer is where do webinars actually come from?

A lot of people have never even heard that word before they get into Click Funnels. And so, a webinar is basically like a web class. It’s like a seminar that’s happening on the internet. Now, in the past, the way that I used to sell a lot of products and services is that I would go to live events like this, I’d stand in front of 1000 or 10000 people and I would teach them something, and then at the end, I would sell my products or my services, and that’s how I made my living for almost a decade.

But then, fast forward to technology started catching up and making things easier, and now I do most of my business, I do it through webinars where I’m actually at my home or sitting here in my office, and there might be 1000, or 2000, 5000 people registered who are watching from all around the world, I do my same webinar presentation, I teach and I train them, and at the end of it, then I can sell them a product or a service. And so, that’s kinda what a webinar is is a live event, but it’s happening on the internet.

And what’s cool about it is that you can do these and make as much money as you would normally from the comfort of your home, as opposed to having to travel, and get hotels, and all sorts of things that go into a traditional live event, okay? Now, some examples of some webinar funnels. These are just some layouts of some of the ones we’ve done in the past, this one where Kaelin, the Lady Boss, talked about Click Funnels.

This is another one of our webinar registration pages, and here’s another one selling, these are all selling software, or trainings, or other things. Webinars have been used to sell pretty much everything on planet Earth, from supplements, training courses, to consulting, to coaching, webinars work good to sell almost any type of product you can think of. So here is how it works.

Okay, the first page, the first step here is to get them to register for the web class, okay? So that’s what the first page in the funnel does. Then the second page after they’ve registered for the web class, then you basically thank them for registering. Sometimes you may make them a special offer, and I’ll talk about that here in a minute. But basically you’re thanking them, and then the last page here inside this funnel is where you post the actual replay, so that’s kinda how a webinar funnel works. It’s very simple and very easy. Okay, so again, here’s the layout, and then there’s one more piece here to talk about, the indoctrination pages.

So, indoctrination pages, these are pages we create that, usually for me, they have videos, or I’m getting people excited about what’s happening in the training, and indoctrinating them, getting them excited. Some people call these presuasion pages, where you’re getting them excited before they actually show up to the web class. So, this is an example of what an indoctrination page may look like.

Now, a lot of people do webinars without these, it just helps to kinda increase show up rate, and it actually increases the people buying something at the end of the webinar because they’ve been indoctrinated from you through these videos here in the sequence, okay? So, what are the products and services that work for webinar funnels? Like I said, all sorts of things. You can use it to sell courses, to sell products, to sell software, I’ve seen people use it to sell supplements, high-end coaching, business practices, services.

Pretty much everything you can dream of can be sold on an actual webinar, okay? So, here’s some of the best practices on how webinar funnel works. So, the first page here, some of the core, most important things. First step, I like to call out, like, who is this webinar actually for? So, you notice in this one it says, “Attention: Entrepreneurs, Small Business Owners, “Online Marketers, and Marketing Agencies,” so they know, like, this is who it’s for. The second step is like having a curiosity-based headline.

The more curiosity you have, the more like someone is to register, the more likely they are to actually show up. In fact, when I have a webinar page that’s not converting very well, the biggest thing I do is I come back and try to increase the curiosity to get people excited. Okay, so curiosity is the key on a registration page. The second page is where we thank them. Now, on the thank you page, we’re not using curiosity nearly as much as a couple other things. The first thing is, we’re thanking them for registering.

The second thing is, whereas the first page is all curiosity, the thank you page is all about excitement, getting them excited for what they’re about to experience. If you get them excited here, they’re more likely to make sure they show up, to put it on their calendar, to make sure they don’t sleep in or forget about it. The more excited you get them here, the more likely they are to show up and participate in the event that you’re putting on. And then the last thing, this isn’t necessary, but a lot of times, what I do on this page is I give them, I make them an offer. We call this a self-liquidating offer.

This is where we tell them, like, hey, in this example here I say, go get a free trial of Click Funnel. Sometimes I might sell a book, or I push ’em into one of my other funnels where I’m selling a lower ticket product. Now, a lot of times, this self-liquidating offer here will actually cover the entire cost of my advertising cost to get people to register for the web class.

Now, that’s kind of a more advanced thing and it’s not necessary, but I wanted to kinda put it out there for those of you guys who may wanna do something like that on your thank you pages. Now, the next page, obviously at this point, like we said before, is that that webinar now is gonna happen in some third party service like GoToWebinar or Zoom, and then after you get the recording of that presentation back, then you can create a replay page, and usually we’ll post that replay page up for 24 to 48 hours, we’ll send emails to everybody who registered and tell them now go watch this video before it disappears, and that gets people to actually go and watch and consume your presentation.

Okay, now, in the past, if you wanted to create a webinar funnel like that, it was complicated, right? You had to get designers, and then webmasters, and programmers, and analytics people, and a whole bunch more. But the good news is that now, because you’re here today here on Click Funnels, you no longer have to do that. We have a better way, we have a faster way. So, instead of doing all that, instead, what you can do is you can just use our share funnels. I can click on the settings, I can change the image for one of my own, I can upload it really quickly or just grab one from here, and boom, that fast, the page is changed. If I don’t like something, I can grab something, I can move it around, I can drag and drop things really easily, if I wanna change the colors, I can. But this is how easy Click Funnels is, you guys. You don’t have to be technical. If you can drag and drop, you can build a funnel here inside of Click Funnels. That’s how simple and how easy it is. When I’m done with that, I can click on the save button, and then I can preview it, and that fast, my funnel is live.

Do you see how simple and how easy this really is? Now, if for some reason I don’t like something, I can come back in here and same thing, I can come back, I can drag things around, I can move ’em around to my heart’s content until the funnel looks exactly the way I want it to, and when I’m done, I click exit and I am done. Okay, so that was step number two, how to customize it. Now, one thing you’ll notice is that each of these pages right here, all three of these three pages that I’m showing you, this is all based on the same template.

All it is is I changed the image, I changed the headline, I changed the color, and that quick, I can make each of these look and match the look and the feel of whatever your brand is. Okay, so the better you get at Click Funnels, the easier it is to customize these things and really make them amazing. Okay, and then the third step is you go out there and you actually launch your webinar funnel, which is the most exciting thing. – Hey, this is Russell Brunson. I want to welcome you to, High Ticket Funnel Secrets. Now, during this training I’m going to show you how to use high ticket application funnels to generate pre-qualified application leads. And then at the end of this video, I’m actually going to give you my top converting application funnels for free. But, before I do that I want to show you exactly what an application funnel is, how it works, and how it can work for your specific business. So, with that said lets jump right in. So, the first thing I want to show you is kinda the diagram of what a High Ticket Funnel looks like. It looks like this. It’s very simple, its just three core pages plus a pop-up.

So, page number one is what we call a reverse squeeze page. This is where you give them some kinda case study, or some kinda information about what it’s like to actually work with you. And they click on the button, and then the next page here on the pop-up then asks, um, they give you their email address. Then, the page after that, your taking they uh, you take them to a spot, where they can actually go apply to work directly with you. And the last page, you thank them for the application, and tell them what’s going to be happening next. It’s a very simple funnel, its super easy to create, and very powerful. Now, this is what it might look like if you were to create one here inside of Click Funnels. Page number 1, you got a case study, and there is a pop-up, for the email address.

Number three, is the application page, where they apply to work with you. And, then number four is the thank you page, where you explain what’s going to be happening next. Okay, so where did application funnels come from? And, these work really good if your in any kind of coaching, or consulting, or selling high ticketed, and expensive things, where typically you get somebody on the phone. Now, in a earlier business that I use to have, we made all of our money, by actually calling all of our leads. And in fact, we built the entire call center, we had 60 full-time sales people who were calling every single lead that came in. Talking to them, qualifying them, trying to figure out who’s a good fit.

Then we would sell them our high ticket products and services, and coaching and consulting. And, it worked well, but it was a lot of overhead, it was a lot of stress, and if anyone has ever worked with 60 full time sales people, you know that, um, that can be kinda stressful. And, so what we did eventually, I ended up shutting down that company down, but I missed selling the really expensive high ticket consulting and coaching, and things like that, that we were doing. And, I tried to figure out how do we change this around and make it easier.

And, so what we did, instead of going in outbound calling every single lead that ever came in, we built these applications funnels, to qualify all of the people, all of the leads, to find out who was the cream of the crop, and then we would only talk to them. And, so we shifted around, these 60 full time sales people, to where we shifted it to using an application funnel. Went down to having just one salesperson. Yes, just one salesperson doing the same amount, of net revenue as 60 full time salespeople where doing before. And, so I’m going to walk you through exactly how this process works, because it will give you so much less stress, so much less anxiety, and the same amount of money as having a huge team of salespeople working for you. Okay, so here is how it actually works.

Step number one, is the very first page in your funnel, you create a case study. Now, a case study about what its like to actually work with you. A success story, um what you do with the results you get for somebody, and you share this success story on the very first page After someone watches that, they think, “Hey man, I want that same case study in my business or my life,” or whatever it is you are selling. And, then the second step in the process then is to have them apply, to actually work directly with you.

Now, what this does is it takes it from you outbound calling and trying to sell every single person, every single leads you have, to which flips it on it’s side, were we do now, it’s a takeaway sell. They’re now presenting and trying to explain to you, through this application, why you should choose them as a client. And, then on the third page, then you tell them what to expect next. Now, for me it was hey, in the next 24 hours, someone is going to call you from my office, we are going to review the application to see if you are a good fit, and that way they know what’s going to happen.

You are going to call them on the phone. And, then you can sell them the product, the service, the coaching, the consulting, whatever it is you’re going to be selling on the phone anyway. Now, like I said, is what this does is it qualifies, it pre-schedules, it gets everybody ready to be able to work with you directly, and it makes your life so much easier. So, next question is like, well, how would you use an application funnel inside of your specific business? Now, every business is different, but there are so many different applications, for ways you can use it. Now, if you are selling coaching or consulting, this model, this funnel has been proven, it’s processed hundreds of millions of dollars, for me and other clients as well.

So this works really well if you’re doing coaching or high end consulting. We’re sure give any kind of high ticket services. Um, if your selling something that is ten, twenty, thirty, fifty, one hundred thousand dollars or more? Um, it works, really well there as well. And, any kind of professional services, mortgages, finances, anything where there typically needs to be a phone call involved in selling the product, or the service, usually because it’s either very specialized, or very expensive, the high ticketed application funnel will work for you.

In fact, almost any business who comes to me saying, “Russell, funnels don’t work for me because you know, I’m selling some of this fifty thousand dollars, nobody’s gonna be able to buy that through a funnel.” I tell them, yes they will. Use a high ticket application funnel, qualify them, and figure out who is the best leads. Have them, have them apply, and tell them why they should be using your product, your services, and then you call and just sign up those people, it makes your job so much easier, and so much better. So, here’s some of the best practices inside of a high ticket application funnel.

Number one, um on the home page, you wanna have some kinda free case study, showing what’s possible if somebody wants to actually work with you, or buy your product, or buy your service. Number two, the goal of this again is to share the case studies so they can see what it’s like to actually work with you. Like, that’s the magic of this, it gives them a glimpse of what it would be like if they had a chance to be, um, to have you as an actually client. And it shows them proof, proof proof. How much proof that you have, um about why, what it is you do, will work for them. Okay, number two, then looks at that, they click on the button and then we have a pop-up that comes up. This pop-up is where we start the application process, where you try to get their email address.

Now, I like having more proof, because as you can see here, one of mine, I have more proof of what it’s like to work with me. Then, at the call to action, give me your email address, to start the application right now. And this way, if they don’t finish the application later, I can send emails and follow up with them, until they actually finish the application, okay. Now, move on to page number three. Now, on this page, guess what I do? I provide more proof. Yes, I want them to understand that working with me, is the greatest decision ever made in their life. So I give them more proof, I have another video here, more success stories, more testimonials, more proof.

Then in that application where I ask them to fill out this form, to tell me why I should, um, why I should work with you. Notice the shift in um, in perspective, here. Instead of, me outbound calling leads, trying to convince them to buy my product, my service. These people were filling out an application. They seen all the proof. They seen these case studies. They seen all these things, now they are trying to tell me, why they should work with me. It changes the entire sales process for you. And then, the last page after they fill out the application. Again, then you tell them, what to expect next. You know, whatever it is, tell them what to expect, and that’s the last step here inside of an high application funnel. You would have to hire a designer, and webmasters, and programmers, and analytics people, and it’d cost you a ton of money to create one of these funnels. Funnels Tripwire Secrets: How to use Tripwire Funnels

– Hey, this is Russell Brunson and welcome to Tripwire Funnel Secrets. Now, during this presentation, I’m going to show you how to use simple Tripwire Funnels to get people to actually pay you to become a customer. And then at the end of this presentation, I’ll actually give you my top converting Tripwire Funnels for free. But first, I want to explain to you what a Tripwire Funnel is, how it works, and how it can work for your specific business.

Now, the first step here I want to show you kind of the layout of what a Tripwire Funnel looks like. It looks kind of like this. This is kind of a wireframe of what it looks like. The first page is what we call Two Step Sales Page. What that means is, usually with the Tripwire product, as you’ll see here in a moment, is usually a lower ticket product. Something that’s not very expensive, so it doesn’t need a lot of explaining to be able to sell it.

So, here on this page we have either video or some text or something to explain what the offer is. And then the order form is right there. And it’s a two step order form, where Step One we ask where to ship the product and then Step Number Two is then we ask for their credit card. After someone buys them, we take them to the second page, which is called an ‘OTO’ page, or a One Time Offer. Here we make them a special offer.

They’re able to click a button, do a 1-click upsell, so they don’t have to re-put in their credit card they just click a button, it’ll bill their card again and then they are taken to a thank you page or Offer Wall Page where you thank them for their order you give them access to it and then you can push them to other funnels other products or services if you have them, as well. So, that’s kind of the layout of what the page looks like. If you plug in an actual template it may look something kind of like this. So, that’s what a basic two-step Tripwire Funnel looks like.

how a Tripwire Funnel works: Where did Tripwire Funnels come from?

Now, the question a lot of people ask me is ‘Where did Tripwire Funnels come from?’ ‘What does that mean?’ ‘Where did that word even come from? It sounds so weird?’ And the term was kind of coined by one of my friends his name is Perry Belcher. And Perry runs a lot of really successful companies and a little while ago I was actually having a discussion with him and he talked to me and he said, “Russell, I figured out a new way where I can actually get people to pay me to become my customers.” And I was like, that sounds amazing.

How do you do that? And he said, “Well, if you think back in the past, there’s a company called Columbia House I think most people have been, you know, have lived at least twenty years on this Earth remember Columbia House. They used to have these offers where you get eight CDs or twelve cassettes for a penny. And this was a Tripwire offer where the offer is so good, so irresistible, the people have to buy it. And then, afterwards they’re more likely to become customers if you give them a good experience.

With Columbia House, you’d buy this and afterwards they start billing you thirty dollars a month, or whatever, for a CD of the month. And so that’s kind of how it worked back in the day. Now, Perry had a company at the time that was selling a survival membership site. And as they tried to sell access to the survival membership site, they did okay but nothing great until they created a Tripwire Funnel. And this was the very first Tripwire Funnel that I was aware. And what they did is they started making these really cool credit card knives. It was the knife that looked like a credit card that you could hide in your wallet and you could pull it out and you could fold it up and turn it into an actual knife. And so they started selling this card for free they just charged people shipping and handling. Right?

So, you come here, you pay like, I can’t remember, $2.95 or $3.95 shipping and handling to buy the product, okay? And again, this is is the Tripwire offer. It’s such a good offer you have to buy it. And then after you buy it, then the next page is you have the upsell where you sell the thing you’re actually trying to sell. Okay? So, with Perry, they were trying to sell access to the membership site and so after you ask them to buy a credit card the upsell said ‘Hey, I’ll give you another cool knife if you join my membership site.’ And I think they charge $10 a month to have access to the membership site. And so they’ll click the button and then they automatically are billed the second thing.

Funnels Tripwire Secrets: How a Tripwire Funnel works?

Okay? And so, the power behind a Tripwire is you create an offer that’s so good on the first step and usually that step is where they are actually putting their credit card in and that’s the hardest most difficult decision you make an offer that’s a complete no brainer they put in their credit card, they buy that thing and then the next page, which is usually a more difficult sell or more expensive product or something like that, but they don’t have to go and retype in their credit card and remake a big commitment, they just have to click yes and it’ll bill their credit card.And that’s how you can sell the things on the backend.

So, that’s kind of how a Tripwire Funnel works. And I’ll show you some more examples here as we go through it. So, here’s how it works. Step number 1, you have to create an irresistible Tripwire offer and I’ll show you a couple of ideas here in a second. But an offer that is so good that it is a no brainer where someone says ‘I’m gonna go find my wallet, grab my credit card because I need to have this thing.’ Okay.

Then after someone’s bought that, then the next step you upgrade them with the core offer the main thing you do wanna actually sell. Okay, so the example I was selling $197 training course my Tripwire here was the free book, they just cover the shipping and handling and then the upsell was $197 training course. And then the thank you page, thank them for buying and give them access to whatever they bought. Okay? So, that’s basically how a Tripwire Funnel works. It’s very simple and very easy. Here’s a couple examples on the left hand side. It says paying June, he did a free book offer similar to mine.

On the right hand side is a company called FiberFix we helped do a Tripwire Funnel for and theirs wasn’t a free plus shipping but it was a severely discounted price on their core product, FiberFix. Same kind of thing, you get somebody in there to say yes on the no brainer offer and then the upsell becomes a lot easier to get. Okay? So, what do you have inside of your company that you can use as a Tripwire Funnel? Okay? There’s a whole bunch of different things a lot of people use books and they use product samples. You have supplements you can use samples or supplements.

You can use CDs you can use DVDs you can do USB drives, you could do white papers. There’s a whole bunch of different things you can do. Just think about inside of your company what’s something you could sell that’s such a no brainer that someone’s gonna buy it. And then, you know, if someone buys that, they’re more likely to buy the next thing. Perry Belcher, the guy I told you about earlier, he actually used to own a suit company where he sold custom suits that were 2, 3, 4, 5 thousand dollars or more and it was hardest to go and sell custom suits so he thought, okay, someone who is buying this suit, what else would they want?

He said, well, people that wear suits, they also wear cuff links. So, he made these really good, these really cool cuff links, had them for low ticket and those became the Tripwire and everybody bought the cuff links and they up-sold them the custom suits. Okay? So, you just kind of have to reverse engineer your company. What is something your dream customer would actually want and then you create that as the Tripwire product you’re gonna sell through a Tripwire Funnel. Okay? Alright. So, here’s some of the best practices of the Tripwire Funnel. First page, you need to make them a low ticket Tripwire offer.

Something that is so irresistible. And it doesn’t have to be free but a lot of times we do make them free and we charge shipping. Or, you can make them, you know, a paid product with free shipping. Or it can just be an irresistible offer that’s so good that people have to buy it. Right? A lot of times, in fact, most times you don’t typically make money on this offer, but what’s happening is you’re getting somebody to go and find their wallet and pull their credit card out which is the hardest part about online marketing. And they’ve done that, they bought it.

That’s kind of the first step. If you look at the two-step order form here on the page Step number 1, they put in their shipping address. Then in Step 2, it asks for their credit card information and this two-step shipping process is something that we kind of customized here inside of ClickFunnels™ makes it so easy to do. You click a button and you got a two-step order form that fast. Okay? So, that’s kind of the best practices on the first page. And then again, the last goal here is to get their credit card.

Then after you get their credit card, then you take them to step number 2, which is where you actually make them a special offer for the main thing you wanted to sell. Okay? So, in this example, I really wanted someone to buy this $197 training course but it’s much more difficult to sell that. I’d have to do, who knows, a forty-five minute presentation to sell the $197 course, but instead I did the free book and then the up-sell’s like he got the book, I have this special offer for you where you can get this course that’s normally $2000, you can get it for just one payment at $197. So, I gave them a really good offer on this page, okay? So, I make them a special offer, and the power behind this is what we call one-click upsell. As soon as someone clicks on that button, it automatically bills their credit card.

They don’t have to go retype it in. They just have to say, you know what, yes, I do want that, they click on that button, bills their credit card and it take them to the next page inside the funnel. Then the third page is just the thank you page. You thank them for buying. If it’s something that is digitally bought, you give them access to it. If not, you can tell them what to expect, when it’s gonna come out and those type of things. And that’s how those pages work. Okay? Again, you give them access to the program.

Funnels Product Launch: How to use funnels to make people buy your products

– [Russell] Hey this is Russell Brunson and welcome to Product Launch Funnel Secrets. Now I wanna quickly show you how to use product launch funnels to persuade people to buy your products, and then at the end of this video I’m actually gonna give you my top converting product launch funnels for free. Now before I do that I wanna explain to you what a product launch funnel is, how it works, and how it can work for your specific business. So the first step in this video is I’m gonna show you kind of an outline, like a mock up of what a product launch funnel kinda looks like. So it looks kinda like this.

All right so the first page in the product launch funnel is a basic squeeze page where you get somebody excited and then get them to register for your product launch series, for the training videos that they’re gonna be seeing throughout the rest of the funnel. A lot of times what we’ll add is also a popup where you take a basic survey to find out who they are, what they’re looking for, and that way if you want you can customize the email sequence that pushes them through the product launch funnel. Now after they’ve opted in, they’ve given you their email address, then we take them to page number one of the product launch sequence. Now on this page typically there’s a video that is teaching them something throughout, something about your product or your service.

Then a couple days later they get video number two, a couple days later video number three, and a couple days later they get video number four, and on that video you actually make them an offer for the product or the service you are selling. I’m gonna kinda walk you through in more detail what happens on each of these pages here in a minute. But this is kinda the framework of what a product launch funnel looks like. And this is if you were to plugin like an actual, some templates in this is what the templates might look like here in a product launch sequence.

Okay, so the question a lot of people ask me is where did product launch funnels come from? There’s been a lot of people doing it for years, but originally it came from one of my friends, his name is Jeff Walker. And Jeff is kinda the inventor of the product launch funnel, and he likes to call it a sideways sales letter, meaning instead of having a long-form sales letter that gives all the information about a product and trying to sell it in the end, he turns that sales letter on the side and does it through videos. So the first video is the first part of the sales message.

Funnels Product Launch: Complete product information is important

You’re training, you’re educating, giving them some information, and then video number two gives them a little more, video three gives them a little more, and the last video you actually sell the product or the service. So these videos are training, they’re educating, they’re breaking false beliefs, they’re telling people about more, giving them more information about product or your service.

And in the end of it you make the special offer to sell the product to them. And so that’s kind of what the sideways sales letter is or the product launch funnel. And this is a picture here of Jeff Walker, and this is kind of a picture of one of his product launch funnels. Now here’s how a product launch funnel works. Step number one is we drive someone to a page where we get them to opt in for the video sequence, okay? And so what’s gonna happen is they’ll come here, they’re gonna watch a video, and then a lot of times they’re gonna have a basic quiz where they tell you a little bit more about themselves, okay? Then step number two is, then we have typically three different videos. These are the three sideways sales letter videos. Now these are dripped on through a certain period of time.

So might get the first video immediately. The second video might come two or three days later and third video might come two or three days later as well. And so each of these videos teaches one step of the process. It gets them closer to the sale. And then the last step is the actual sales video where you sell the product and service that these videos have been creating desire for. Okay, so that’s basically how a product launch funnel works. And here’s some examples of one. Up here on the left-hand side, this is one of Stu McLaren’s product launch funnels, some of his Tribe Workshop. Down here is Todd Brown selling his E5 Master Camp. Over here is another one.

These are just different layouts and different ways to design a product launch funnel page. All right? So what kind of products and services work good for a product launch? Well, honestly, if you’re trying to launch any product a product launch funnel is good. But it works specifically well for courses, for products, for live events, and things like that. And so if you’re thinking about launching a product or you have a new product coming out, or you wanna take a product that you’ve been selling for a long time and kind of breathe new life into it, a product launch funnel’s a great way to actually do that.

Funnels Product Launch: Allow people to comment on your product

So here’s some of the best practices. Page number one, I like having a video that explains what’s happening during this training course they’re signing up for, okay? We like having little mini-surveys so we can figure out who they are. We can customize the emails on the backside of it. And that’s kind of best practice for page number one. Page number two, now, we have these videos. And so what I like having is, you’ll notice you’ll see different videos up top. You see the one that they’re on right now is all lit up and it’s in color, and the ones that are locked down are black and white. So they can’t get to those yet. But it builds anticipation like, okay, this is the first video.

These other videos are coming in the near future, K? So that’s kind of how it works there, and then each one as you move forward then unlocks the second video, then the third video’s unlocked, and then finally the fourth video. And so each of these are different pages. They look very similar though. So people feel like it’s kinda the same look and feel. They know where they’re at and they know where they’re going. We like having comments on here. People can come into here and they can actually comment on the video, the trainings that they’re learning. The more they comment the more likely they are to purchase in the future. And the last page, then, is the last video in the product launch funnel where you actually make the special offer.

You sell them your product, your service, your course, your training, whatever it is you are selling, basically it’s a video with an order form, and that’s kind of the last step here inside of a typical product launch funnel, K? Now in the past if you wanted to build a product launch funnel you had to do a whole bunch of things. You had to hire designers and programmers and webmasters, and analytics people, and a whole bunch of things just to get these things set up. It was expensive, it took a lot of time, a lot of energy. But today you’ve got a simpler, a much easier process. Instead of doing all that, instead what we can do is you can use our simple ClickFunnel share pages. – [Russell] Hey this is Russell Brunson and welcome to Squeeze Page Funnel Secrets. Now I wanna quickly show you how to use simple squeeze page funnels to build an email list of potential buyers and then at the end of this video I’m actually going to give you my top converting squeeze pages for free. But before I do that, I want to explain to you what a squeeze page funnel is, how it works, how it can work for your business to grow a list of subscribers and potential buyers and help grow your company dramatically.

So with that said, let’s jump right in. So, what is a squeeze page funnel? Well, a squeeze page funnel is one of the most simple funnels we have. It’s basically just two simple pages. Page number one is what we call a squeeze page. This is where we’re asking somebody for their email address in exchange for something. Might be a lead magnet, might be an ethical bribe, might be some more information. And then on the next page we thank them for their email address, and then we give them that thing that we promised them on the squeeze page. It’s very simple and very easy, and it’s one of the fastest and easiest ways to build a huge email list of subscribers.

Now I’m gonna show you guys a couple of squeeze page templates so you get an idea, cause you’ve probably seen these a lot out there in the marketplace. You may not have even known what it was. So this is what a squeeze page may look like. Someone is offering you a free guide or free report in exchange for your email address. Okay, here’s another one. This is very simple and very easy. Same thing, a free report, they opt in, and then you give them the email address. You can offer a free book, a free video, a free white paper, anything you can think of you can offer it for free, they give you the email address, on the next page you thank them and then you actually give them the thing that you promised them. It’s very simple, it’s a very easy way to start building a following of people.

Okay, so the question I get from a lot of people is, like, where do squeeze pages come from? What is this- who invented this? Why is this a thing? And for you to really understand that I wanna go back in time about 10 or 15 years back to when the internet first came around. Now if you are like me, been doing this for a long time, you probably remember when you would visit websites and all of a sudden something really annoying would happen.

Do you remember this? You go to a website and all of a sudden you see BOOM a huge pop-up, right? And pop-ups were amazing for marketers for business owners, because what would happen that, someone would come to your website this pop-up would come up and it would say, ‘hey give me your email address in exchange for a free report’ or for a free coupon or things like that. And what happened is that marketers, business owners started growing huge email lists of 10s and then 100s of thousands of people and they’d make so much money emailing those lists of subscribers, different products, and different things they were selling.

The problem was it was really annoying for the end customer, and so Google started building in ad-blockers in all of their things, same did Internet Explorer. And soon, pop-ups became a thing of the past. And people started freaking out, because they’re building these huge email lists and then all of a sudden, that went away literally overnight. And they thought, ‘what are we gonna do? How should we do this?’ And luckily for all of us, there are some very smart marketers out there who started trying to figure out new ways to do this and one of the things they invented is a concept called a ‘squeeze page’. Which is basically taking this pop-up and instead of going to websites, this thing pops up, the pop-up becomes the main page you actually drive people to. Now, this is one of the original squeeze pages.

This was David DeAngelo’s DoubleYourDating.com Back when I first got started over a decade ago, this was like, the most famous squeeze page out there. It was very simple and very easy. If you look at it, it said ‘You’re about to learn secrets that most men will never know about women’ Inside, you’re gonna learn the kiss test. How to find out if she’s ready to be kissed. And then a bunch of different things, right? And so you’d come to this page And instead of driving to the page, having this be the pop-up, this was the actual page. I remember when he first started doing this, other people started doing it. Everyone thought they were crazy, like why would you do that?

Why would you hide the thing you’re actually trying to sell from people by having this squeeze page? But they started doing the testing what they found is that they would send people here, say they send 100 people to this page, let’s say they get 30 or 40% of people to buy, now you may think that means 60% of people never actually saw the thing that you’re trying to give them, but what happens after you get their email address, you have the ability to follow-up with them. And they say on average, it takes somebody seven times seeing what you’re trying to sell before they’re willing to buy from you. And so if you’re just driving all your people to a website, hoping they’re gonna buy, you’re gonna lose a lot of that potential revenue because you have no ability to follow-up with those people. So, instead you send them to a squeeze page.

Now, here on this squeeze page, what he was promising people is that, if you give me your email address, I’m gonna tell you the Kiss Test, okay? So someone would come here and they put their name, their email address in, then they go to page right here where it’d say, ‘here’s the kiss test’ and it would explain this is how to know if a woman is ready to be kissed. And would kind of explain really quick and in the bottom it said ‘click here to go download my e-book’ and then he’d actually sell his book called ‘Double Your Dating’ And that’s what the squeeze page was.

Offer them an ethical bribe, a lead magnet. For him it was the kiss test, then the next page he gives them the kiss test, thanks them for giving the email address, and then from here they will push them into whatever product or service they actually wanna sell on the backside of it. Okay, now they were able to build an email list of 100s of thousands of men and build a huge company by using simple squeeze pages like this Okay, alright, so here’s how it works.

Step number one, you have to create some kind of lead magnet, something you can give somebody in exchange for their email address. And step number two, you just trade it for their email address. It’s very simple process that works super well, in face it’s almost too simple and easy. Here’s an example of some squeeze pages that, some of my favorite ones I’ve seen in the past. This one Frank Kern did. This is one that Neil Patel did at Kiss Metrics giving away some white papers.

This is one where Brendon Burchard gives away his productivity guide. This is one where someone gives away a free video, which actually ends up being the sales video for the product they’re trying to sell. So, these are basic squeeze page examples. There’s tons of different ways to do them. But that’s kind of what they traditionally look like, okay? So my question for you is how would you use a squeeze page funnel inside of your business, okay? Well, one way is to get their email address, so you can follow-up with your customers.

Okay, I told you before it takes someone an average of seven times hearing your message before they’re gonna be ready to actually purchase something from you. So, by giving them something for free in exchange for the email address, now you can follow-up with them and have multiple times to try to sell them product or service you really wanna sell. Okay, number two, you can start getting new leads and start building a relationship with them, so you can sell them other products and services in the future. Another thing is you can build an audience of people for an upcoming product you’re gonna be launching in the future. Okay, now, we use squeeze pages and all sorts of aspects of our business and something you should be using as well. Now, here’s the example of one of my squeeze pages.

This is a product I put together called The Funnel Hacker Cookbook. And I have a free PDF of this, it has my top 22 sales funnels. I send people here, they click on the button, it pops up, it asks for their email address, and the next page, I give them the download link to the email, to the cookbook, and then I also here offer them a physical copy they can buy if they want upgrade and get a physical copy of the cookbook. Okay, it’s a very simple squeeze page funnel that’s built me lists of 10s of thousands of people in the last few months alone. Okay, so my question for you is- what do you have that you could give away? AKA, what kind of lead magnet could you create in your company to start generating your potential dream buyers? Okay, you could create some kind of free report or whitepaper.

You can make a free video, you could give away coupons, you could access something amazing and a whole bunch of other things. Just think about what is it that your dream clients would want, go and create that thing and then you put it behind a squeeze page funnel. Okay, now he’s some of the best practices of a squeeze page. This is an example, very simple, very powerful squeeze page for one of my friends, Brian Moran. And on a squeeze page, a couple things.

Number one, we wanna keep it simple. I don’t wanna overwhelm them, I’m not trying to over-complicate it, just very simple, like, this is what I’m gonna give you in exchange for your email address. Number two, I like having tons of curiosity. The more curiosity someone has in that thing you’re gonna give them, the more likely they are to give you their actual email address, okay. And the next step you gotta tell them what to do, so notice it says ‘download this thing right now’ then it says, it tells them what to, enter your email address down below to get this thing. So, you’re actually telling them exactly what to do. Cause that’s page number one. Page number two best practices, you give them the thing that they ask for.

For some reason, people sometimes don’t do this, they try to hide it down the road. If you do that, people aren’t going to trust you and they’re not gonna buy from you in the future, okay? So, you actually give them the thing that they ask for and if you want to, you can send them off into your next funnel. Okay, so, Brian, this funnel gives them the manifesto that they ask for and then sends them off into the next funnel, where he actually sells one of his training courses, okay? So, that’s some of the best practices behind how squeeze page funnels work.

So, what do you need for this funnel? First thing you need is, you’re gonna take this funnel, you’re gonna edit it, right? You need some kind of logo if you’re gonna be doing this one, you need your headline, your copy, the words that are gonna go on the page, maybe a picture of your lead magnet, and that’s about it. That’s how simple it is to build out a actual squeeze page funnel. Okay, now back in the past, if you wanna build one of these things, this is what you’d have to do. You’d have to hire a designer to design the pages you have to hire a webmaster to create them and code them and put them together.

Programmer to set up the auto-responders and the programming.  An analytics person to make sure it’s all working and it was expensive, took a lot of time, k? And the good news for you is that there’s a better way, the better way is you can use our simple share funnels, and down those videos knows there’s a whole bunch of amazing squeeze page funnels that I have been using over the last decade of my life to convert amazingly well, that I’m just gonna give you for free. You can go there, you can edit it, make it, add your lead magnet, add your logos, add your headline, and here’s your copy. And that quick, you can have your own squeeze page funnel up and ready to start generating leads inside of your company, okay? So, step number one in this process is scroll down below and pick which template you like the most. There’s a ton of them down there, find the one that looks like best, that fits your brand, the thing you like the most. That’s step number one. Step number two, you just customize it. Let me make you a, let me show you really quickly how simple it is to customize this funnel inside of quick funnels.

Okay, so right now I’m on the exact same page that you’re on, and so I look down here, I find all these different templates. Which one of these is my favorite, I then just pick whichever one I like the most. I click on, select this funnel button. And it’s gonna copy that entire funnel over inside my Click Funnels account. All the pages, all the everything will be copied over here and so I can start editing immediately. After it’s copied, I click on the View Funnel button. And that fast, the entire funnel’s copied into my account. Now, on the lefthand side here, you’ll notice these are all different pages I showed you inside this funnel. And so I’d go through, I’d edit each of these pages.

Right now, I’m gonna edit just one, show you how easy it is. I click right here on ‘edit page’. And it’s gonna take me inside the Click Funnel’s editor. And from here, I come here, I can just go where I can start clicking on things on changing them. Hey! How are you doing? (laughs) I come right here, I can change out the logo, I can change out the images, say I want to change out the product shot from the book. Something different, I click on ‘images’, I find my ‘images’, I can upload my own if I want. I’ll click on the camera here and BOOM that fast, this entire page is edited to look exactly the way I want it to. If I don’t like something, I can drag and drop. I can move things around.

There’s a bunch of things I can add. But Click Funnels is so simple that anybody can do it. You don’t have to be technical. You just have to be able to drag and drop. You can make these funnels, this page look exactly the way you want. When you’re done, you click on the ‘save’ button right here. Then you click on ‘preview’ and you can see exactly what your funnel looks like. That fast, your entire funnel is up and live. If you don’t like something, you can drag it, you can move it around. And just keep on having fun until it’s exactly the way you want. And you exit, and you are done. So that’s step number two, customize it. Now again, all these templates are very simple and easy to customize.

In fact, this was one template and I customize it three different ways, for three different businesses, but if you notice it’s the exact same template. I just changed the headline, changed the images, changed the color scheme, and that fast I can make this funnel match my brand. And that way, it looks exactly the way I want it to look. I can do that in just minutes here inside of Click Funnels. Now, the third step, after you’ve done it, now you go out and launch it. After being humiliated at the event I decided it was time to take notes. I am so glad I did. I reveal the 9 marketing secrets I learned.

been happening this have been traveling around I’ve been on a crazy crazy travel schedule for the last couple of weeks and last week I was actually on the road with Russell and heard him speak at Gare Jai White’s warrior con which is a crazy crazy event so I thought what I do is I give you some of the things that I’m learning while I’m out traveling around and in meeting with some of the most amazing markers in the entire world so with all that said I’m just gonna kind of dive right into this I would appreciate if you actually like these types of content and things I’m doing let me know some of the things as far as real world tactics and strategies and things that I’m literally running across every single day as I’m out traveling or as I’m with Russell or with other just amazing marketer so again go ahead and leave comments here or email me Facebook Messer whatever it takes I just I really kind of like your feedback on that so what I’m going to dive right into this so there’s nine different things I really captured and took some notes on why I was with Garrett and with Russell and I just wanted to kind of let you guys understand this and see how it works into your business one of the first things and we joke around about this all the time here at ClickFunnels™ and that is the whole word cult sure and culture is king I cannot express to you how important this is in your business I was funny actually I was just we’ve got our partner meeting yesterday and I was on the phone with the company I was looking at possibly buying some of their technology or things of that sort and it was they were like gosh you know I they’ve spoken to a lot of our funnel community in trying to persuade them over to where they’re at they’re going man one thing I tell you Dave is your audience they are like rabid fans that you have such a strong culture there that it’s hard to get anybody to ever leave that’s the power behind this and I cannot express you enough if you’re not worried if you’re not trying to do things that build that type of culture in your business again it’s I one of my favorite ones to look at his Apple I mean you cannot go anywhere and you find a person who’s an Apple person and I’m in my cell my first Apple product was an iPhone since then I’ve got think two iPads I’ve got four different iMac I I met pros I’ve got six different AI bullets from my family I’ve got an iPod I mean it just it’s crazy how many Apple products I have and I won’t use anything else but that so lets me jump back in and kind of explain you what happened when I was at warrior con so Russ and I flew in the day they’d already they were about day three or day two of their of their week and we flew in we got in late and the event was already going on so we kind of just snuck in the back and as you walk in the door what you’re greeted with is this swarm of 600 men all dressed in black black polo shirts with with warrior cone on it black pants black socks black shoes and here we are looking completely out of place to the point where two of Gerrits guys basically brought it brought us two of the polos and said you know you guys might want to put these on I wasn’t thinking anything of it Russell wasn’t thinking much of it so we just kind of put him on on our backpacks on the back table weird again we’re away from everybody on the back road not thinking it even matters at the between speakers Garrett basic gets up and says hey Russell Dave put on your black balls it was like whoa I totally felt out of place I felt like I was being chastised for not being obedient and I was like oh my gosh I feel terrible so we stepped out changed our shirts came back in and then all of a sudden we actually felt a part of the group it was this crazy thing and it was just kind of fascinating to see how important that was as far as that belonging that connection Russell spoke the following day and I was there trying to you know get things set up and all that kind of stuff I walked in I had fortunately I brought black sweatpants so I had black sweatpants on but I got white shoes but they have black on them black laces and everything else but they’re white shoes and oh my gosh I got chastised to the point where his team basically said listen David you either have to step in the back and we’ll spray-paint your shoes black or you have to take your shoes off well fortunately for me I love being barefoot so for me it was super easy option I’m like I’ll take my shoes off in fact if you want to spray-paint my my shoes my feet black I’m okay with that but I love going barefoot and so I basically running around the hotel room barefoot or in the event room but it’s fascinating me to see how important that culture really was so if you’re not currently doing things to add culture to your environment to your business man you got to find something you got to be able to create that type of connection number two and Russell acts I mean uh Russell used this video when he spoke it’s actually a video of of Garrett speaking that funnel hacking live where basically talked about the fact that you’re gonna suck you’re gonna suck real bad at first and over time what you’re gonna find is that eventually you’re gonna suck less and then eventually you might actually get to a point where you’re actually even good and it’s kind of funny hearing Russell speak on stage cuz he used this and then he actually used a reference from his own personal life where he was like I got you right now Russell’s done over 600 podcasts if you’re not following Russell you obviously should marketing secrets calm follow that podcast for sure but it’s fascinating to me to hear basically Russell’s saying gosh I remember when Stephen came on he said you know Russ I’ve listened to every one of your podcast and it wasn’t until you got to like 45 46 47 49 50 that you actually started to even get decent kind of good it was like oh that said that hurts but it’s just a reality understand you you got to find your voice and the way you find your voice is realizing that you got to publish gotta get that content out there and just know that you’re gonna suck it first but that’s okay it really is okay and over time you’ll find that you suck less and less but you have to get comfortable with the reality the fact that you’re gonna suck at first but know that that’s good that’s how it’s supposed to be third thing you have got to know your audience your avatar this is one of things Garrett has done an amazing amazing job at I remember the very first time I saw his first product back and basically was doing a free documentary on basically wake up warrior and it was fascinating to me in fact if you go to wayback machine you can kind of check it out and go to wake up warrior to see some of his older stuff back in like 2013 2014 really 2014 early 2015 and it was right basically he understood that what he wanted to do is wanted to connect with men but not just men what he want to do is you want to connect with married businessman so his headline is attention married businessman learn to unlock in parenthesis nearly unlimited power in your marriage business and life without having to cheat on your wife get a divorce ignore your children leave your church for a date with drugs I’m like that was such a powerful headline totally separated I mean first of all you had to be a man then you had to be married and then you had to own a business I mean that it’s like you have to realize who your audience is and be willing to call them out basically if you’ve read anything and experts secrets our Russell talks a ton about the title of Liberty and I’m not gonna go into detail on it right now but realize if you don’t have a title of Liberty something a person can stake their flag in the ground saying this is who I am you’re really having a hard time it kind of ties ties back a little bit to the culture but more importantly you’ve got to be able to help your audience separate themselves from everybody else number four is belief and gear did an amazing job talking about belief says you know what you guys think basically what might be possible if I just believed really think about what might be possible and start just kind of going down that path let your mind roll realize that one might you believe or what might be possible if you believed and then from there who would you have to become to just believe that whatever that is who do you have to become and the third thing in that then was who would I have to become to just do the work so first of all again realize what might be possible if I just believed and then you take that hope and you think okay from that what would I have to become to just believe that and then who would I have to become to just do the work to make that belief happen that was number four number five was you got to lead by example and this was a that’s kind of funny we I love love Southern California it’s my home area I’ve been lived air prior to moving up here to Boise but so we’re sleeping with the window open which I just love oh man nothing excites me more than here and hearing the waves crashing on the beach smelling the salt water air I mean that just decorates me and so we woke up and all of a sudden we woke up and and oh son I hear these guys you know basically going through these marine type of drills I’m like what the heck is going on so I look out the window and here you got Garret leading by example where he’s got six hundred men out on the grass basically putting them through military drills getting them ready physically ready to be able to sit through this meeting to absorb everything he’s going to teach and it’s one of those things where if you’re gonna be part of warrior there’s nothin you understand the only way your knee part worries you’re gonna you’re all in there there’s no such thing as dipping your toe in the water with Garrett so you’ve got to be all in and Garrett leads by such massive example we’re literally just two weeks before he and Sam had gone out and they actually competed in the mother of all tough mudders it’s a 24-hour race to see how many times you can go through this loop basically of obstacles and I mean being shot to Elektra I mean just crazy crazy grab for 24 hours and he during that did 50 miles within 24 I mean that’s just a huge accomplishment but realized because he’s leading by example it’s really hard for anybody who’s gonna follow him not to be willing to do every single thing that he asked them to do because he’s doing it himself so number six is the importance of showing appreciation and I really had sunk in from the very beginning when I first started seeing this but it really sunk in when I saw Russell on stage and the way the gratitude appreciation was shared towards Russell it’s what happened is after every speaker you’ve got to present everything else Garrett has his to clap and then some word like you know Booya something like that it’s really just express appreciation and then they would actually give words of gratitude where he would repeat a word and they said move and then they basically repeat that back to the audience you have 600 men saying thank you 600 men saying you changed my life 600 men saying because of you I am Who I am and he just felt this amazing overwhelming gratitude and it was so I I loved everything that we’ve created it ClickFunnels™ but most important I just love Russell and all that he’s done to help build and grow this movement but it was fascinating for me to sit back and to hear garrett express appreciation to russell basically saying russell these 600 men that you see out here represent a fraction of the lives of over 100,000 men who have come in through warrior and none of that would have been possible if it wasn’t for you and ClickFunnels™ and they feel that kind of appreciation I mean one for me being a particle funnels is a huge opportunity and a blessing to my own personal life but just to see and to feel that in the room and then to hear 600 men basically repeating words of affirmation and appreciation towards Russell and almost at a chance was just super super cool so I highly recommend that wherever you are in your business life to make sure that you’re showing a massive amount of appreciation you haven’t gotten there by yourself so you got to recognize those who helped you along the way number seven and that is to realize that Garrett is the only person who’s spoken at every one of our final hacking live events and he’s going to be speaking again at this year’s event and the reason I mentioned that is what is fascinating for me as I look at Garrett is every year he speaks at our on our stage he continues to spend time changing and growing and becoming something new and like blast year it was he and he and his family so he and his wife Danielle and their and their two girls on stage and showing basically how they were one funnel away and basically at one final way saved their marriage and so realize you’ve got to be in a situation to where you’re always changing you’re always improving you’re always growing and this is one things that Garrett’s in an amazing job at as you take a look back on all his old content and where he’s at now he’s always in the Pope always growing and in physically and spiritually mentally in his relationships in business you’ve got to be that type of a person you’ve got to be able to go all-in if you want your business to grow you’ve got to find a way of becoming more and better and growing so you can contribute and give to more people number eight and that is you gotta surround yourself with people who have your vision I Gary got up as Russell was on stage it was he and then as one of the guys basically started warrior with him Jeremy so Garrett and Jeremy we’re up talking with Russell it was just fascinating just to kind of see how important it is as far as the people who around you again Jeremy and and gear when they started having they didn’t know how to even work a camera and so they went through a businessman we didn’t know what we were doing but because of this we change this and we did this and and continue to grow together but the idea behind it was Jeremy was so focused in and believed all 100% on what he was doing and I can tell you in the success of ClickFunnels™ we just literally were with our partner kon or a partner oops our partners we just had a big partner meeting and in with our partners here we kind of Russell took the opportunity to create or to record an episode for for marketing secrets podcast and went around they said you know what did you learn and so all six of us as far as partners and co-founders basically shared what we learned over the last three years in building a company’s gone from zero to over a hundred million dollars impacting live over 55,000 of ClickFunnels™ users and just what have we learned and you know one of the main things that all of us agreed was the importance of people the people that you surround yourself with in your business and you’ve got to be willing to you know to go L all-in on those people the last one which to me it really touched me emotionally probably the most as a father was really to understand that you never ever give up on family we Russell did a podcast just recently with Nathan latke and was talking about gosh you know Russell what do you do with all this within the money you’re making all this kind stuff what are you investing in and he said you know what I’m best in is my family cuz what are we talking about Edie actually if again if you’re not Pauline rustled marketing secret you gotta fall in that marking secrets calm basically we’re also spend a ton of money on his side yard of you know he’s got nine trampolines now he’s got a basketball court a basically a baseball diamond in the back kickball soccer field volleyball court all these kind of things that are just for his family to basically spend more time with his family and enhance that relationship and it was fascinating to me as I saw Garrett doing the same thing I’ve listened and I followed geared for years and he’s always so he’s on basically Danielle as his second second marriage he’s got two two beautiful daughters with Danielle but he actually has a son from his first marriage his name is Parker and I’ve heard I’ve talked about this for years but it was Parker was at the event yeah oh my gosh this is really cool and so Garrett basically got up and he talked about his son Parker and he said yeah we’ve been so Parker’s 18 years old just graduate from high school it’s lived with his mom up in Canada and he and Garrett have not had a very good relationship at all for years but this last year he decided Noah I’ve got to find a way of connecting with my son and so he started basically texting him every single day and with no response from Parker at all in fact I know this is his right number what’s going on he won’t respond to me he was talking to his wife Danielle and said you know I’m just done with this you know what this kid he’s on his own I’ve said you know if Texas guy over 30 times not responding me and Daniels like if you give up now on him you’ll lose him forever and I said all right all right I’ll keep going it was after two months of daily texts with no response that Parker finally responded to a text and at first it was just one time a week and then it was two times a week and then three and then it was once a day and it was so fascinating for me to see Parker and his dad Garrett both up on stage today as Garrett announced that now his son Parker is now part of his family Danielle and they’re their two girls and he’s basically moved in and is now working for wake up warrior movement and I thought you know how important family is so with all that said and again I had the opportunity to Parker afterwards and said you know Parker tell me more about it he goes you know what I didn’t believe my dad I just didn’t believe it you know I we’ve been he hasn’t had anything to do with me for years and years I thought you know he’s telling what he’s doing that some ploys got going and he said you know what it wasn’t until you know after two two and a half months of text that I realized you know what he’s really he’s really trying so I tell you no matter what the whole reason we do business is because of our families and I would tell you to no matter where you are in your relationship anything else spend time enhancing and building deep deep relationships with your kids with your spouse with your significant other whoever it might be let them know how much you appreciate them and if the relationship is not where it needs to be do whatever it takes to make that happen that’s the whole reason we do what we do so with all that said I wanted to kind of wrap things up and basically tell you those the nine things I learned while I was out warrior con with Garrett and with Russell and everything else highly recommend that you guys again if you haven’t gotten a copy of expert secrets I don’t know why you haven’t but go to experts secrets comm just get a copy of the book and more important than that is implement do it take a principle in there and start doing stuff if you haven’t already started a podcast at Facebook live and a blog something like that start producing content document the process all that kind of stuff I’m gonna talk more about the importance of
