those same results here is your host Dave Woodward everybody welcome back this is gonna be a fun one today and the opportunity of being here with one of my dear friends miles Clifford welcome to show miles hey Dave thanks for having me great to be here and hello to everyone out there listening we actually are out here at Jeff Walker’s product launch formula live so we are the registration sponsor that’s why you’re seeing the beautiful clickfunnels banner behind us but we thought we’d take a few minutes here and explain to you guys why we don’t have an affiliate manager so what I want to kind of talk to you about is for the longest time go to the very very beginning of kind of Russell’s original plans and things typically had a little people wearing a lot of hats and one of those hats would be affiliate manager Franco Peters is probably one of Russell’s first I had a couple of others I’ve been there as well we’ve had Kevin chia was recently here but the hard part is as an affiliate manager it’s really hard to have that as your only focus and as a company and one things I really recommend is you take a look at your own companies you start scaling your company it’s really difficult to have a person whose only job is working just with affiliates even though we’ve got thousands of affiliates we have tons and then just in this group alone close to 50,000 people in this group and we got to be you know half of our users for clickfunnels Ullaeus so tons of affiliates but even with all those affiliates one of things we’ve seen is that it’s really tough as a company to justify why you’d have a person just as an affiliate manager so recently as Kevin chia took on some other responsibilities is one of our team leads we kind of got rid of the whole affiliate manager position and I was talking with James P Friel and Brent computers about this whole concept of all of the things that we’re trying to do at clique falls and how we’re trying to grow and build this thing and one of the things that James made mention of is what you really need to do is take a look at a relationship manager I’m like James what the heck is a relationship manager so we went out and we tried to find just the right person who would fit exactly what we were looking for so understand when you’re looking in a business relationship manager for clickfunnels for us take for example we have affiliates we have our dream 100 and our dream 100 now spans 10 different industries and 4 different social networks and in addition to that market integration platforms on the back end and integration partners so it’s really like a dream seven fifty three one thousand three one thousand we know it through one thousand sounds good I think I could be your own name perfect so what we were thinking about is how do we actually connect with and manage these people on a regular basis so we went out to try to find out who’d be the very best person who we could bring in who could handle all these relationships and the same time deal with working with me which I’m like scattered all the time million things going on and so what we found is within our own clickfunnels community working in our home office was the very best person the world we could think of for bringing someone in for this the one and only myles Clifford thanks Dave thanks for the kind words I appreciate that so but I ya know it was kind of a crazy experience that I worked with Dave in the past he is going a hundred miles now I wouldn’t even say that like 300 miles an hour he’s go go go and so you do have to keep up with them I’ve been trying to do it still trying to learn how to do it better but it’s a I’m super excited for the opportunity for sure well we’re excited and I think the main thing is what I really want to make sure you guys understand in your own business as well as an affiliate for clickfunnels so as an affiliate for clickfunnels we cannot express enough gratitude and appreciation for all that you guys do to help promote clickfunnels here we happen to be at Jeff Walker’s event and we’re givin away a free copy of expert secrets since we’re one of the registrations the only you but what we’re thinking about next week is doing something kind of special around this expert secrets so I don’t even told anybody and Russell has no idea hey Russell surprise so we’re actually doing launch next week again relaunching expert secrets and so if you listen up next week we’re going to show you some of the cool exciting things that we’re gonna be doing to help you get expert secrets back out in the hands of literally thousands of people again but more important I want to take a look at as a relationship manager what is really kind of that role and so I want to talk to miles a little bit about this because it’s important for you as an affiliate to understand who you’re working with you’re right extremely valuable to us and so miles is here and it’s done a just amazing job works with all of our dream 100 affiliates as well as all of our dream car winners how many we have 60 62 yeah 62 people what a car it’s crazy if you haven’t turn in your paperwork to is missing out on a payment I send you an email respond back and you you get a free car so we have 19 people who have actually qualified for the dream car just haven’t sinned in their paperwork so maybe you can hit one of those guys up and you can actually get a copy of it yourself yeah really what I want to do though is help you guys understand in your own business how does this how does a relationship manager work for you in your business so for us miles has taken so much off of my plate and I can’t thank him enough for all that he’s been able to do because he’s working extremely closely with our affiliates for one but Edition that a lot of our dream 100 players who were always trying to network with and work great in a and a tighter relationship with so what are some of the things from your perspective as far as a relationship man what are some of the key relationships you’re focused on and how are you actually connecting with them well there’s you know relationships are super important and there’s so many different industries you just talked about in all 10 10 industries that span our dream 100 and it’s building those relationships with everyone in there and trying to figure out where we can best serve them right it’s always you know I think a lot of times people are looking like well what what’s in it for me what’s in it for me and hopefully that’s not how we ever come across we want to come in like how can we help you you know obviously you having success in turn helps us have successes you’re a successful affiliate you know we see the benefit of that and so do you but we want to make sure that we’re there to benefit you more so than you benefiting us if that makes sense and so that’s really kind of one of the keys of elationship manager is figuring out how we can assist them how we can help them best and to move forward I love that I think as a business owner which most of you guys are when you take a look at your own business it’s the relationships that matter the most and I really would hope that you would you get to that point in your business to where you live it can hire someone as awesome as Myles is to go out and connect with and really deepen those relationships I take a look I was talking my kids the other day about the fact that every job I’ve ever had in my entire life is because of someone I knew I’ve never gotten a job any other way then knowing somebody and for me it’s all about relationships we actually are out here at Jeff Walker’s event building relationships with some of our affiliates integration partners here with Jeff Walker one of the main things that miles is doing is working with Larry on their on their team for launch club but actually building out some of the funnels for launch launch Club which is just I don’t know how much charge is now a $15,000 program or something like that that’s one of the benefits they get so for when you take a look at your own business there’s certain ways you can grow it one obviously is through affiliates and through JB’s and they’re the real big thing we’ve seen long-term growth comes and that’s from marketing integration partners and so whatever your business is I didn’t have highly recommend you take a look at how can you integrate your business in with someone else’s a classic example I’ve seen years ago and that was I was doing some consulting for a chiropractor and one of the things they actually did some market integration with was a masseuse by bringing a masseuse in and so that was that market integration tool they used in a physical location where by just bringing them in and helped clients on both sides he didn’t pay the the masseuse she actually gave him a discount she got clients out of it and it was a win-win for them so take a look in your own business one of the most important things is how do you establish deeper relationships one things we were talking about just the other day was as affiliates the idea here is we can always give you cash and cash is one thing but miles reached out what were some of the things you found people wanted yet you know what honestly it was just spending time like his crazy sounds we’ve reached out to some of the top affiliates like hey we ran these promotions some people came back with blue Yeti mics or tech equipment but a lot of them just wanted to build relationships hey I want to spend a day lifting with Dave and Russell I want to spend a day shadowing Dave and Russell or brand or John I want to have a signed copy of the experts secrets book it’s that connection that relationship not with just a piece of technology but with an actual human being so that’s super cool I can tell you that if you’ve been following song and if you’ve heard and understand the importance of culture and culture is built on relationships and so I highly recommend in your own business find a way of building a relationship manager get someone you can connect with most importantly find someone like Myles who you can reach out to who can actually build and deepen those relationships because your your business will always be built on relationships again we appreciate so much
