This post is all about the hook the story and the offer. In this post we are going to discuss why it’s important to have a hook to get people’s attention. Then we are going to discuss how to create an interesting story that allows you to resonate with your potential customers. After that we will discuss how to create an offer for your product or service.

The first part of this blog post talks about the hook. When you are creating a funnel, you often want to look at successful funnels and model then. This process is known as Funnel hacking or offer hacking. When you are funnel hacking you need to look at the hook. This is the content that grabs your attention. Think about what is the hook on the landing page that grabs your attention. For example, if you think about Drew Manning, he created a hook for himself in his Funnel called “fit to Fat to fit”. The idea that he came up with was that he wanted to appeal two people who find it difficult to get fit. In order to get the attention of these people he needed to create a hook that might resonate with them. Because he was already very fit, his story was not resonating with people that were not fit. So he decided that he was going to become unfit or fat and then get fit again afterwards. Because this was such an interesting hook, Drew got lots of free publicity.

Importance of your story – Hook Story Offer

A lot of the time the hook goes hand-in-hand with the story. In the previous example you can probably see how Drew’s hook was tied to his story. This story that he used to get people’s attention was unique to him and described a challenging process that anyone could easily understand. Sometimes if the hook and story are really memorable and unique it can bring so much traffic to the funnel that you don’t need to worry so much about the offer. The excitement and interest that your story and your hook create are enough to get your potential customers to want to buy into your product or service. One of the great things about stories is that people like to share stories. If you have an interesting story built into your funnel people will tell their friends about it. This will give you free publicity and viral value.

Unique & Memorable – Hook Story Offer

When you are trying to create your hook and your story, you need to try to come up with something interesting and unique and memorable. You can think about it this way. What kind of story are people likely to tell their friends about you or about your funnel? I have a course teaching people how to make a membership website. An example of a hook and story that I use to attract potential clients is the following. When we first launched our membership site and funnel for our cycling training course, we found it very difficult to convert traffic into customers. One day, we decided to change our headline to something a bit controversial. The new headline was “train less get faster”. Simply by changing this headline in our squeeze page and our ads, our conversions suddenly went through the roof. We went from selling $100 a week to selling $10,000 per week. You can probably tell this is a slightly interesting story. It’s not a very good example of an interesting Hook. However, it’s a true story and its unique to me and somewhat memorable.

When you are thinking about a funnel, the basic structure includes a hook, a story, and an offer. The more compelling and interesting your hook and story is, the more likely people are to see your offer. Your offer is also very important. Usually when trying to create an offer you need to increase the perceived value of what you have to sell. In the next section I’m going to outline a simple way to create a good offer that appeals to your potential customers and also creates a higher perceived value for your product or service.

The Offer – Hook Story Offer

Try this method to create a powerful offer. Take a sheet of paper and write for headings at the top. These headings are written word, spoken word, physical stuff and miscellaneous. The first heading is written word and this refers to any written publications that you can include in your offer. It might be a PDF download or it might be access to a private blog post. You need to think about valuable written content that will appeal to your customers. You can write down underneath that heading as many examples as you can of potentially valuable written resources. The second heading is spoken word and this includes audio and video resources. You can provide access to video training or to your podcast or audio recordings. A lot of people these days consume content online in the form of video or audio. They can often consume this content while they are doing other things or while they’re taking notes and that is why this type of content is so popular. You need to make a list of potential audio or video resources that you can include as bonuses when people buy your product or service. The third heading is physical stuff And this includes anything physical or tangible that you can physically deliver to your customer as part of your sale. This could be a T-shirt or it could be a book or it could be any physical good that people will be happy to get for free as part of your offer. Of course with physical products there is an associated cost but sometimes the benefits of giving away something physical outweigh the costs. You can make a list of all the physical things you can sell with your offer. Finally the last heading is miscellaneous and this includes anything else that is not covered in the other headings. Under miscellaneous you can potentially include software access or share funnels or coaching or Facebook group membership. Make a list of different miscellaneous things you can include in your offer that will appeal to your potential customers full stop In this post we have outlined how to create your hook your story and your offer.

Hi there, I hope you’re well. This post is all about “Funnel Audibles”. This concept came out in early 2018 as part of the lead-up to Funnel hacking live. During that, time Russell Brunson was preparing his presentations for funnel hacking live and he stumbled on a very important concept. He called the concept “Funnel Audibles”. The basic idea of this concept was for members of ClickFunnels™ to go through their funnels and look at their conversion rates purely from a numbers point of view. While he was doing this, he realised that this is probably why most people fail at their funnels.

At the time there were about 60,000 ClickFunnels™ members and of those there were 300 people in the two comma club and then there were about 20 people in the two comma club x. He realised that most of the 60,000 members of ClickFunnels™ were trying out a funnel and then not bothering to tweak and optimise their funnels from a numbers point of view. So a lot of the time when new Funnelhackers want to launch a funnel, they go and build a funnel, then they try to advertise. Overall, it doesn’t convert and then they think this ClickFunnels™ stuff doesn’t work. However, what they don’t realise is that a lot of the time when Russell launches a funnel, it doesn’t work either at the beginning. When people come and ask him for advice about their funnel and what they need to tweak or change he usually says “I don’t know”. The reason he says this is that he likes to let the market decide.

Funnel Audibles

In order to let the market decide, he runs a small amount of traffic to the funnel and he analyses the conversion rate of each step. Then he makes some changes and then he runs some more traffic to the funnel. He repeats this process over and over again in order to increase his conversion rate at each step. He makes it clear that when he makes a funnel, he doesn’t ask other people for advice & he doesn’t ask them what they think about his funnel. He doesn’t listen to Facebook comments and he doesn’t listen to gossip. The only thing he listens to, in order to tell if his funnel works, is the conversion rate of his pages or steps in his funnel. In other words Russell let’s his customers vote on the success of his funnel using their credit cards.

Usually, when he is testing a new funnel, he will allocate $1,000 in total to test the different stages of the funnel. He lets the traffic go through slowly and gradually makes tweaks to pages on the funnel in order to improve the conversion rates. For example when he was rolling out the funnel for Expert Secrets, he made five big tests that improved the average cart value from $30 to $54. So, the essential concepts inside funnel audibles is basically to try to optimise and tweak the conversion rates of each step in your funnel as you roll it out.

What is Project Mother Funnel

Guys I just wanted to talk to you today about mother funnels and this is an amazing project that came out last year in 2018. OK, there’s loads of people getting really excited about it and basically inside mother funnels, you’re able to import fully built funnels in one click and it just makes your job as a funnel builder so much easier. So what they did is they looked at some of the best funnels out there and they thought to themselves how can we make these easy for other Funnel builders to really quickly import them into their account. So they started this project called mother Funnel and this was originally called project super funnel and somewhere along the line they changed it to like project mother funnels. And basically the idea was kind of two things. They wanted to know how to firstly decrease conversions to get rid of people that were most likely to churn., then the second goal was to make it more appealing for people who are likely to stay around. So you know about sometime last year I think was about April in 2018 they brought out a series of mother funnels. OK what they did is they developed these different funnels across various different types of funnels and so basically you can get a full funnel installed in one click.

What types of funnels included in Project Mother Funnel

So the different categories of funnels available in the mother funnels templates are as follows: Firstly there’s tripwire funnels. Secondly sales letter funnels. Thirdly there is product launch funnels., then there’s webinar funnels. Fifthly there’s auto webinar funnels., then squeeze page funnels., then after that there’s application funnels. And so let’s have a look at these.

TripWire Funnel – Project Mother Funnel

So first of all let’s look at a tripwire funnel so a tripwire funnel is more or less a kind of A two-step sales page. So initially what you’re going to do is you’re going to give people something free on the tripwire funnel. Still you will probably wonder why is something called a tripwire Funnel and you know it goes back to one of the best marketers out there somebody called Perry Belcher. When somebody comes into a shop for example and they’re going to buy something but maybe they don’t buy it and, then on the way out from the shop they get tripped up by a tripwire or something cheap, something irresistible that is sitting there that they can buy on the way out the door. Now the idea of a tripwire funnel is similar and when people are going to leave the website you can offer them something simple and cheap and free and get them to opt in. So for example if you’re going to give away a free pdf on your website, when people were about to leave you can have a pop up on your website that says “get my free pdf” and that’s basically what a tripwire funnel is. So there’s three main steps: basically get your tripwire offer and, then you’ve got your sales page and, then you’ve got your upsell. Now within mother funnels they have created a series of perfectly designed tripwire funnels that you can use in your websites. How awesome is that?

Video Sales Letter Funnel – Project Mother Funnel

Now the second type of funnels that you can get inside mother Funnel Secrets is something called the video sales letter funnel. A video sales letter or a vsl is a really common way for people to sell things online. They use basically a sales letter page that has a video at the top it has a small amount of information because it doesn’t need too much text and has an add to cart button so there’s more or less three different pages in a video sales letter funnel. You’ve got your sales letter page,, then you’ve got your one-time offer page and, then you’ve got your offer wall page. So the sales letter page has your video at the top and it’s a videos sales letter it’s more or less you standing there on the video reading your sales Script. So the reason this all came about was because people used to actually send out sales letters by snail Mail. They do still send out letters but nowadays its more common for people to market online so it’s easy for them to create a video sales letter which does the same job as the original snail Mail letter. Alright so within your video sales letter you need to have certain things.
