introduce you guys to Molly Kaiser Molly welcome to the show hey thanks so much for having me this may be a blast oh this is gonna be so much fun for one you’re a full of energy tons of stuff always going on and the topic is just crazy as well so if you guys are don’t know who Molly is Molly’s a member of our inner circle she’s also – comma Club winner in addition to that she’s gonna be at industries I’m so proud of her for all that she’s done so if you guys aren’t familiar with what she does she basically helps photographers specialize in boudoir photography so for those who may not know what boudoir is and I don’t know how they wouldn’t but if they don’t what exactly do you mean what is a boudoir photographer yeah it’s basically kind of like a Victoria’s Secret model shoot but for any woman at all anyone who wants to celebrate a milestone or just feel finally comfortable or really finally be able to look in the mirror and believe in their beauty that’s basically what we do our photographers do so it’s pretty cool we like to empower women I love it I was going through your site and take a look at some of your story again basically down to your last 81 cents and starting the business so uh again that takes some cojones I’m not in that one that’s a not the easiest thing to do and then to do it in this industry so tell me again I know your story but tell for our listeners how did you get involved in this industry oh my goodness well we don’t have like a week so I’m going to keep this room but basically in a nutshell you are correct I dropped out of college I had 81 cents to my name I was living with my grandmother she was like spotting me money to buy groceries it was that bad and you I just found college really wasn’t for me I’ve never been like a cookie cutter type person and so I just decided to dive into photography and just go for it I started shooting weddings things like that I quickly niched into boudoir and when my studio hit the six figures mark I started getting bombarded with messages from other photographers being like how did you do it oh my goodness like how on earth did you you know how did you make it full-time shooting only boudoir because most photographers you know they photograph every single type of ring baby’s wedding everything and so basically I started mentoring people one on one and as those of you listening probably know I quickly realize you know I can’t run a whole time studio and mentor people you know one on one pour like I just don’t have enough hours in the day so that’s when I started seeing people doing courses online this was in 2013 I was like man this is genius like you can take instead of repeating everything that you say over and over and over again you can just record yourself put it into a platform that is better for me and my students and then you have the ability to also sell it over and over again and help an unlimited amount of people so it’s it’s basically an incredible incredible opportunity we have right now with online courses I love it you’ve got yours has been really cool I was looking at your site and send the stuff you’re doing so your coaching program tell people look we were just kind of joking about the fact that you just did last two or three weeks done over $70,000 in coaching or it knocks our certification is that right you started a certification program within a what a 20-minute webinar is that would you say yeah so what I did was actually at the inner circle Meetup everyone was like you need to do the certification because basically the struggle I have is that a lot of people hear the word boudoir and they think of something that it’s not and I know you guys so they assume that it’s something that’s totally knotted so I wanted something that can not only help me train my students to go full-time you know get to six figures but also something that can set them apart so that when a person sees for example like their certification badge they can know you know this person’s professional they’re serious or someone you can try and so at that inner circle meeting like you need to do this you need to do this so um if you guys don’t know this about me I like if you tell me to do something like so I made it happen and I I just made a really quick 20 minute webinar something I was hearing from a lot of my students was that they they didn’t have like a lot of people were dropping off my webinar like sorry I have to go I have this you know my kid has a basketball game or whatever and I was finding that my 60 and 90 minute webinars for just getting too long so I made a 20 minute webinar I basically removed the three secrets I showed a ton of testimonials for my students and the stack of course and yeah we were able to book 25 calls from one 20-minute Facebook live webinar and we closed 21 of them which means we signed up 21 students in over $70,000 I’m looking at my board because I haven’t yeah it’s been incredible and they’re already seeing results so it’s awesome so how did the how did you drive traffic into your funnel there so it was I soon through Facebook logs that we did it yeah so okay so what we what we basically did was I used zoom and we drove some Facebook ad traffic to like a landing page with a many chat button on it I love to use many chat for webinar signups and then we streamed that zoom webinar to our Facebook group with our students who had already purchased our course we have two products the course and the certification and so yeah it’s cool because we had a mix of like cold and warm traffic and the interesting thing is that it was about a 50/50 split so I’m super happy to learn that the cold traffic signs up it’s almost kind of like hmm it’ll be interesting to see how we can scale this with more cold traffic I’m super excited about it I’m super excited I love good you’ve done a great job as far as your headlines at everything else I was looking at your site and some of the cool stuff you’ve got on there and see if I pull something stuff up is Bob I have to give much credit to Russel he is the title King well I again seriously I was that just some of you you know want some freebies I love this year so the free master class for strategies for WoW and your boudoir clients with your posing light and coaching I mean obviously there’s something want people for free plus shipping so yeah and that actually the that posing sheet we tested on marketing 50 ways to market and we tested the posing sheet and the posing sheet like blows the marketing out of the water which is so interesting it depends on the niche right it’s so so interesting I think that’s great I get I for your niche it makes sense or people want to make sure they have they want to be professional and they want to make sure they get the right poses I don’t want to become cloth sleazy or anything else like free I kept hearing that they didn’t want to freeze up like they would go to the shoot and then they would freeze up and they wouldn’t know what to do yeah I just listened and then I helped from there I loved it and then you’ve got your booty shorts manifest don’t love that taken right out of experts oh and can I read this is that okay yeah please go for it so it says I’m a booty babe a booty babe is a photographer who is committed to empowering more women through the art of boudoir photography a booty Bay to somebody who is ready to throw away all the past excuses and turn their passion for boudoir into a full-time photography business hey booty babe is a photographer who doesn’t let anyone or anything get in the way of their goal to help others while changing their life and business for the better every day super cool I love again this whole idea as far as a manifesto I love the fact that you’re implement again you you implement it’s super super fast it’s just so awesome I love seeing that and I think it’s cool that right after your manifesto is where you had the call to action I’m ready to be a boot booty babe and it click right there and and takes him right in so obviously you’ve had the opportunity of going through a lot of life trials and everything else you’re now on top of your game you’re teaching others how to get on top of their game what are some of the things you mentioned to our other funnel hackers who are listening here as far as either tips that you’ve used in your business that have worked real well or things from a life standpoint that you’ve learned that would help benefit them oh man that’s so broad let’s see here you can pick anything I’ll go with it let’s see here well one thing more recently that’s been a huge game-changer for us is many chat I’m not sure if you guys have talked about that a lot I’m actually an avid fan of the podcast I haven’t noticed that yet so but yeah mini chat because with our email let’s say you know when I first started email marketing in 2013 our open rates were like something crazy like 60 percent and now it’s more like 18 to 20 percent which is so good I think compared to industry standard but we’ve definitely seen it decrease and whether that’s because we’re growing so quickly or just because I believe it’s because my personal audience is more on Facebook and so what’s interesting is we’ve been growing this many Chad audience which is a chatbot for Facebook Messenger and even though we only have a fraction of the number of people on many chat our open rates are like 85 to 90 percent so we’re actually getting more open rates more openers on many chat even though our email list is like three four times or something the size so something we’ve been doing like four webinars instead of having them opt in through email we have them opt in with many chat and that we really know I want to ask you about I’ve literally this has been a massive topic reason that was literally talking to Andrew Warren about it the other day I talked to Mike Dillard about it Warner he’s brilliant so we have to so I wanted to find out the question came up yesterday I was talking to Mike and that is do you only allow people to opt in only through mini chat or do you allow email and mini job you guys are gonna love this because I tested it recently so we used to just do many chat and then we had a couple people just literally just like two or three people that were like I don’t like Facebook bubble blocks I’m like oh man like I feel bad now okay fine we’ll do email or mini chat we got more opt-ins but our show up rate was cut in half so we’re not gonna we’re actually just gonna go back to just doing the mini chat button so I don’t know it works for us okay so I wanna make sure I understand that so you had yet both mini chat and email so yet some people off to come through mini chat but those who came through your email the show up rate was much less than those people came through mini chat and because of that you’re only going to mini chat as an option yeah so basically like when we let me tell them they have to register with mini chat like almost all of them do except for like what two people but if we give them the option almost everyone goes with email and that our show up rate is like super dismal so yeah we like money chat more I think that’s great I literally had this conversation Mike yesterday they’ve got a self-made man thing they’re coming out with judge didn’t Lily six days but he was going through the same thing and they saw basically about 80% which would click on email and only 20% on Facebook as far as messenger but when they were tested obviously had a ton more people when when when mini chat is the only way then interesting so it’s not the same result island they did they totally did so and again I can’t quite tell all the details on this but we have something super super cold coming out with action etics here that’s gonna involve messenger and you guys are gonna absolutely love it it’s you gotta wait to funnel hacking live and of course a frontal hacking like you’re gonna want to be make sure you’re sitting at Molly’s table she’s one of our roundtable hosts talking about all this crazy cool stuff as far as how she’s using these kind of cool things in her business so I wanted to find out more from so you’re basically driving from a facebook ad to a landing page landing page has many chat only option takes them then to a an auto webinar that basically is a zoom recorded webinar actually so you’re wrong okay so what we do is first of all Russell told me that I have to do my live webinars until we get to a million okay so that’s what we did and so now we’re doing Auto but our auto funnel is being built so here’s we’ve been doing for the live webinars that’s the stance that I can share with you guys basically yes we had them option with many chat and the cool thing is that on the webinar opt-in page we just used a clickfunnels template they click the mini chat button and as soon as they click it in many chat you’re allowed to say hey once they click this button they can be a new tab can be opened so when they click it’s sending them a Facebook message while simultaneously sending them to a new page and the new page is our tripwire so we’re triggering the tripwire and then also at the same time sending them a Facebook message so the Facebook message essentially says hey cool we see are interested in the training which date and time would you like they select which one they want cuz it’s live but yeah if you were doing auto you could just pop in the replay or something or fifteen minutes or something like that so they choose the date and time and then after they do we say awesome to confirm your spot please reply back with your email address and then we use zapier to zap their email address to you know whatever emailing clickfunnels whatever you use and then and then after that we will think we message them again and we say oh and by the way so on the training you’re gonna learn how to book a client on the spot but if you want to learn how to book multiple clients in the next 24 hours click here to get our it was basically our trip wire for 60% off so that’s kind of what we do and we sell oh I love that so is your trip wire also pop-up on the side so they see that what it is actual price yeah so it pops up when they click and then also in the message once they’re done registering in the Facebook message it also tells them about the trip wire there as well so is the trip wire price the full price on the pop-up and sixty percent off in a mini chat actually no but that’s a great idea no it’s both pages we just use a click funnels page and then we have like an auto video playing of me talking about the deal I just thought it would be social proof real quick there and say hey it’s actually a 60% off you have to split test and get that back to me and let me know that one yeah literally so tell me as far as you’ve had the opportunity now of first of all again I hope you guys heard and if you haven’t I’m gonna restate it she basically did a live webinar so she did a million bucks that is again I love it’s one of things I love about our inner circle you guys actually implement everything Russell says and I think part of its got a point because the only people who are really successful in the inner circle or those who just take massive action and do everything he says but that is seriously it’s one of the keys so that you guys who are listening and you’re doing a webinar don’t get so excited to get to an auto webinar until you cross through a million dollars I know that seems like forever but so what your what is your course how much what do you charge on your on your webinar yeah so Jesse just so we can just so everyone can learn a little bit about all the mistakes that I’ve made along the way before I joined inner circle I had over 100 products I’m not kidding like I had a lot of ebooks courses right now we have one course and one certification so the course is called boudoir marketing camp and it’s nine ninety seven and then we offer a payment plan and paypal credit as well awesome and their certification how much is that as three thousand we offer a payment plan and PayPal credit as well people credit by the way like do because seriously I mean if I when I started my business when I had 81 cents if I had had the option to get PayPal credit like zero down zero percent for six months you have six months I just think it’s so cool yeah it’s super simple to get again it’s not even really based that much on your own personal credit so don’t be afraid to at least try it and use it in your business I think it’s a great opportunity yeah I used to feel bad saying to put it on the credit card you know like guilty like oh I don’t want my students to go into debt but then I realized you know I’m gonna help them make their money back and more and so really it’s not I shouldn’t feel guilty about it I should feel like it’s a great opportunity for them so I just want to share that with you guys I love it I love it so tell me as far as as you take a look at this next year what’s where you going now where what’s gonna happen with with booty baby where’s it gonna go all right this is great so now that all of our live webinars are converting we get about a 40% to 75% show abrade and a 10% purchase of those who are on the webinar so now that we have that offer all for our webinars across the board we are automating them all so we’re actually just using you guys are gonna be so surprised by this we’re using a clickfunnels template [Laughter] yeah awesome so my team basically I work with someone who’s a funnel builder I believe they are certified or something like that and they yeah they’re just working with the template taking our best live webinar and automating it so on the horizon essentially for us is automating sending traffic to those to those auto webinars and we also recently moved our Facebook Ads in-house and what we’ve been doing is we do this thing called a consistent content strategy ping Jun made this popular at our last inner circle meeting and that’s gonna be giving that away at some like in life you can tell us how you don’t go ahead and share it it’ll be a teaser for people yeah but basically what we do we kind of do that strategy but for our Facebook ads now so I for everything we need a Facebook ad for or retargeting at or anything like that I just created a very short video we send that to Rev my team creates short post long posts lifestyle posts with images and then we run the ads so on the horizon for us really is scaling we need to hire a phone sales person call me the webinars and really just scaling honestly it’s I feel like it’s almost when you’ve been grinding so hard for so long and you’re at the point where you can like automate it almost feels like mmm why am I actually getting sleep this is weird it’s like too good the sleep thing I think people always talked about it supposed to be a good thing it actually works so uh that’s not one of the perks of working at clique but why I love having you on again for those of you guys I can’t what’s up everybody Russell Brunson and welcome to the marketing secrets podcast today my talk is about how I’ve made over three million dollars in just 90 short minutes so the big question is this power entrepreneurs like us who didn’t cheat and take on venture capital we’re spending money from our own pockets how do we mark it in a way the lets us get our products and our services and the things that we believe in out to the world and yet still remain profitable alright everybody so um unless I’m living in Iraq you’ve probably heard everybody talking about what happened last weekend which was kind of crazy so I had a chance to speak at Grant cardones TEDx event and yes the rumors are true we did my presentation in the end I sold a special offer and we sold over three million dollars in sales not just contracts but collected cash in the bank in just 90 short minutes and I’ve got a ton of questions coming in from all over the place so how we did it why we did it and all sorts of craziness and so I just wanted to use this episode I can tell you a little backstory and show you the actual process how we did it and then at the end I got 12 questions that a lot of guys are asking as well that was in kind of cover and so that’s kind of game plan so with that said um I’ll kind of jump back in the backstory so a couple years ago was the first time I ever heard about Grant Cardone when the guys that works for me Randy grizzle he he came to me system about Grant Cardone and Mike who’s that he’s like he’s this guy he showed me some videos I was like oh so he came aware of him then I started following him and just start seeing his stuff and last years probably a year and a half ago he he decide he was in launch an event he called it the 10x growth con and he launched this event and I was not one of the speakers when they launched it and as they started launching striking and bigger and bigger and finally one of my friends Brian post he reached out to me said hey you should really speak this events can be a big deal and I’m like I don’t have time to speak at events anymore much as I would love to and he’s like no this is one I think it’d be worth for you to do so he introduced me somebody over there and next thing we knew I was on the I was on the the page as the one of the speakers and I’d know Grant Cardone at the time he didn’t know me activate a call before they event to find out what I was gonna talk about and I kind of told him and he’s like well I want you to I just remember he’s like I’ve had other people like internet guys try self stuff and you know they’re not very good at it in fact when you go out there just go tell him the price first and just talk about and do people will buy that’s like you know the you guys know my backstory I’ve been doing this for a long time for over a decade and I’ve spoken on stages a lot I know the process and I was like well this is the way I want to do it right no no like you shoot our way into work and I was like okay and my head I was like now I’m doing it my way like I know how it works but I’d you know I didn’t want to like be weird on their first relationship or first call so they okay so when is that event I think there was a camera many people this is a 2,200 2800 don’t remember the exact numbers we got there and you know we showed up Dave they would or nice show up in a big box of order you know a box full order forms and we asked him so Kay when I speak tomorrow you know I need a couple sales tables and need I need staff to help man the tables into closed sales and they’re like why would you do that like we don’t have staff for you and I was like this is how it works and they never any respect from the time they never see me clothes or cell and so I couldn’t get them to even give me a like literally a table to sell from and so I’m like okay well this is how we sell so luckily Alex Leila her MOSI and who our inner circle members and two comma Club winners and soon to be eight figure Award winners they were in the audience as well and and I said hey can you guys help us close sales and make sure where’s the table mic there’s no table here so there’s like three door exit doors so Dave wasn’t one door at the box of applications and the handful of pens we bought it staples in 94 and so is Alex and Leila and so when I did my whole thing and I did my clothes and people started running to the sides to sign up and Dave and Alex lay there pulling normal forms out of a box trying to sign up people and in a short 30 minute window there they were able to close just shy of a million dollars in sales I don’t know where exactly was I know it was almost a million but not quite in sales in this thing I remember telling them afterwards Clegg off stage and Grant Cardone came up to me and first time we actually met in person he was like I never seen something like that before like what he’s like I’ve never seen a table rush like that people are running to the bus side to buy your stuff I was like yeah I kind of told you guys that but nobody believed me and and anyway and I was like that’s us how the process works and and I knew I remember afterwards he was like I want you to show me how to do that so if you watched some of the faces or some of the interviews he done with me afterwards you know always about that like I never seen someone do that before right that was the coolest thing in the world and anyway so about a month or so later they called me on the phone in the night Kate we’re thinking out do another event is someone gonna try to get out 9,000 people out if you want to speak at it it was like well first off I don’t think that’s possible you know 9,000 people to then but your last meant was so good I think we could you know if you do to get a more than willing to come sit cool he’s like you’re gonna be our big money speaker and he put me on the thing and they started promoting this thing for Ike the next year and lo and behold despite like my skepticism they had 9,000 people in the room like it was crazy it was in Vegas in at Mandalay Bay and the huge arena that you know I know they do boxing matches there they do concerts there like it was crazy and so they they filled it out so probably a month and a half two months ago we did call from before an event that I can’t says what’s happening and you know we’re gonna you know we made solar 8500 tickets to the time like we’re in have all of 9,000 sold and I was like oh crap and so we start talking about to do the sales process and there I go he what’s gonna happen to Ram an app on the phone so you skate up and tell them to buy on the app and that’s how you leave your table or table rush I was like no that’ll no that’ll kill all the momentum and that no that’s how it works make no like please please do not list me on the app and they didn’t all the other speakers were in the app with their price points knees click Abunda by my please will claim in the app like the whole Sokol social psychology is selling happens if you’ll stand up and they’re all running to go buy something like please don’t take that away from you please say agreed do not put me in the thing and then I was okay we need tables mic well how is it gonna work like this arena there’s three levels bottom floor first floor second throw our third floor and and then it’s like this huge it’s like a big basketball arena right so it’s like there’s people it can go all around the whole thing and they’re like how are you gonna do something I don’t know let’s let’s brainstorm this we spend the next couple weeks had a brainstorm out this process and so August I wanted to go and prepared but biggest problems like I can’t speak run the back room signups I’m like run the back of the room unless you’re on 2nd or 3rd floor 4th floor 2nd floor then you gotta run up the stairs and run halfway down the hallway to the other you know and it’s just I so stressed out like how are we gonna make this work and so as I was planning this talk a lot of people and one really good idea that I got from Brendon Bouchard samhitas no Brendon he told me he spoke at a big event like that one time and said but he does he he said afterwards people are gonna get pictures with you which is true I was like stuck in the casinos and the elevators and everywhere people trying to pictures with me but he said the way he did is he put up a picture booth right next to the sales table and said they were who signs up today you get a picture with me so you can have it and they say what happened is that you know bunch people ran over to buy and they get in line but so it happened took in an hour Saudis pitch here so everyone’s seeing this big line of people and some working week coming over and coming over says you just have Billy keep closing from social proof for like an hour so afterwards that’s like that’s a really cool idea so I decided to take that idea and a bunch of other ones and this is kind of how I choreographed it so the first thing you should all from sets from stage selling one of the biggest things you don’t want people to do it’s like when you’re about to make your offers to handout order for people always do this and drives me crazy they each of their pitch and the mic alright weird and out the order form is ever starts handing out the order forms else and everyone’s like looking at each other again the order forms of handing it they’re reading the thing they stop focusing on the speaker when I start handing out order forms to my sells rate dramatically shot up so I have a rule that’s like never hand out order form ever make them go to the back of the room to get the order form that for it therefore it creates the the table rush to the back but the problem in it this way is first off if we wanted how to order forms we couldn’t cuz there’s nine thousand seats that’s impossible second thing is because there’s like tables on like different levels and things like that like I just like it would have been a nightmare even as I’ll get you in a minute I get took about three hours to process just get people thought the order form is because it was so so many people so I was like we need to figure out a way to get order forms in the hands without them knowing there’s an order form because if an order form is gonna kill the sales and so I was like how we can do this awesome we had this idea for the sneak attack so let me show you the sneak attack yes those who are watching this live if you if you’re hearing it you want to see go to marketing secrets calm and you can actually see the video this let me explaining this right now I’m if you listen to podcast so just kind of walk there’s me so first thing it is like okay what if we gave them all packet so this is this is the packet right here I was like inside this packet we’re gonna have two things number one is the order form because this is what they need to have to fill out and then I’m gonna have as little detail as possible on the order form just enough they know what they’re getting and then you know how to do it from the Philadelphia order form my go on son everyone’s chair see an order form and the second thing is like most of all I can have a pen right about 9,000 people potentially buying like there’s no pen so like I need a sneak attack a pen into everyone’s seat so the goal with the sneak attack this order form in this pen and everybody see what nothing no neither there’s an order form there that’s why we put in this really cool package it looks awesome and then sided we put a couple things number one we put in these really cool I build funnel stickers when it goes in your laptop one that goes on your phone so they get these like here’s a gift from Russell reciprocity right here’s this really cool sticker and the number two we’ve given these cool pop sockets go on the back your phone say funnel hacker I was able to do a couple things as one is actually demoed how to use these during my presentation number two they put these on the phone now that now they’re part of our community their funnel hackers so there’s two gifts that were there and then I had a note sheets for my presentations like you know the schita here you can open it up and you can take notes what we’re talking about so although these three things whole Goldie’s is to is to be so cool and exciting that people do not notice the fact that there’s a sneaky little order form and a pen inside the envelope this is how we are Trojan horsing an order form in every single seat in the entire arena and then we had this the envelope and the back was a big huge sticker that said warning do not open until Russell Brunson this presentation begins that was on the back of the sticker so that was the plan we’re gonna we started getting it all printed like nine thousand or printed and put together but then the problem happen is that we found out that the seats through the event they don’t lay flat they pop up when people aren’t sitting on it it’s like we sew our envelopes wouldn’t sit on their seats cuz they would pop up they’d fall to the ground it’s like crap now we gotta figure out a way to make sure that these packets actually stay on their desk so then we went in ordered 9000 these bags say clickfunnels on it and then we put the pack inside the bags then hung the bags on the chair so then the next questions like well how do you get nine thousand these out to everybody and so we had to figure out how to do it so we ended up doing it the night before I spoke I’m Ashley that was over we I think we really hired 10 or 15 different temp workers plus we had about ten people from our team and they went out to every single chair and take the packet inside the envelope and hook it hump it on a chair and talking about – now for three hours – it the entire thing to blanket the entire audience with the Trojan horse order forms wrapped up with a bunch of cool gifts and things like that again so that was the thing then the way was gonna happen is that after somebody decided to buy they were going to run to if they were a VIP there’s a VIP room at the table there on the bottom floor there was there’s two tables in the back of the bottom floor and they were in anywhere in the bowl around here to go section 118 so some people grew up stairs right there some to lever upstairs and run clear around the whole thing and then what they would do is they would order it would take me or they would take the order form right here it’d fill out the order form then take it to someone on our team and then some of our team would then hand them this packet right here so it’s fun to build their secrets what they bought then they could open up this thing up and then a couple things inside of it they’d pull it out and number one is here’s the thing it shows me how to claim what they just purchase so there’s no how to go online what’s gonna happen and how we’re gonna text them their login and if they have any issues their support issues number two is there’s a letter to their business partner spouse explaining what they just bought so that they make it home that I like why did you spend this money and the number three was a golden ticket if they didn’t get a picture with Russell so they were handed this packet back they’re supposed to rip this open grab the gold take it out then run up to 118 stand in line to get pictures with me and on top that we get some other cool bonuses we gave them the funnel hacker cookbook if they brought this to us and we also gave them the expert seeker stock I’m so here’s audiobook they could plug in the air and listen to when they’re on the ride home so those are the two things we had created to get them to buy so that was kind of the the game plan so went out there the second thing is that I was into my presentation but the problem is that everybody at the year before had seen my presentation we’d signed up I think 450 almost 500 people the year before in 1997 and then over the last 12 months grant has been promoting that presentation like crazy so I think like half million people have seen that presentation through him and his audience we sold a lot of clickfunnels because of it Thank You grant we love you but I was like I hang you the exact same presentation to the same audience who’s pretty much already seen this thing but I needed to give the same framework of the presentation because the framework is what sells clickfunnels when she’s been proven to sell clickfunnels and couldn’t make the same offer because because we were charging more first off for charging three thousand dollars and then number two not only charged three thousand dollars we were trying obviously I needed to create better off works I want a neighbor who bought last year to buy again and a bunch of other things so that was some of the the groundwork so why do we raise price to three thousand dollars why a bunch of reasons one is my goal was when we first started as my goal is make which make three million dollars in an hour and a half this is the reason why when you do an event like this 50 percent where you sales goes to the hosting the event you keep the other 50% and so my goal was to try to make I want to I wanted to net a million dollars an hour that way of somebody ever ask me how much I charged in how I could late well it’s a million dollars an hour so that was kind of my selfish reason why I wanted that was my goal I was like hey 9,000 people if we can close one out of nine at three thousand bucks apiece every three million dollars which means I netted a million dollars an hour for an hour and a half which would be really really cool so that was the goal going into it and so because of that I took my my framework my presentation and I read tweaked a tree changed it as you you know but the the structure was still the same i customized it very specific to their audience can know their I know who the audience is now I know who but they’re looking for a height of the businesses they have what their major concerns worse we crafted the presentation to speak directly to them and then we made the offer better we added a bunch more cool things we had a funnel scripts for your ad traffic secrets a bunch of other cool things and so the presentation was similar to ones I’ve done the past but was definitely upgraded for this event and so I got on the stage excuse me was crazy we got there I supposed to speak the ground supposed to speak the second day and I was speak right after him we got there and grants voice was gone but I grant can’t speaks Europe right now I’m like oh I’m not ready for this and so we had a kind of scramble go everything together and they reduced me I came on stage and did my presentation and and at the end of presentation I sold and from that we had we had over three million dollars collected from the presentation and we’re still I think we’ve another play 1/2 million or so in declines we’re going through right now but all said and done scheme somewhere between you know three and a half to four million dollars but for simplicity sake we made at least you know more than three million dollars 90 minutes from using things I netted more than a million dollars an hour for an hour and a half my time which was amazing and it was it was cool so that’s kind of behind the scenes some of the tricks and the things we did to make sure that that actually worked I hope I’m sure I miss some things oh yeah and so after I did my whole presentation we closed it was crazy like they took me they they had security guards there’s chair carrier I took me back and people are running to all eight four eight different places right like I could see people running to the to the VIP table I saw people run into the back tables we were running upstairs it was weird cuz typically when I get a table rush you just in a smaller room and you hear that their hustle and the bustle and so it’s really really out a lot of times the fact that loot a brush will get so loud in the room during the table or so I can’t even finish my presentation whereas this one because the the stadium was so big I heard a lot of rustling but we didn’t get loud it was kind of weird thing I like I’ve no idea people actually buy us kind of nervous so I ended later when I went off stage and then security guards took me the bathroom got me a drink and took me back up to where the picture booth was at when I got to the picture with a walk through the door and I look out there and I see this section had all these extensions I think it’s called the people weave back and forth and about 5 or 6 levels deep or always people as far both directions as I could see and people tell me later that the line literally wrapped around the entire arena I stood there and people come in shake their hands take a picture next verse the next person the next person and took like 3 half or 4 hours with the pictures over 1000 1200 people whatever was a picture after picture after picture like I remember my face being really sore when I got married on my wedding night this was like that but way worse wait longer just the promise Michael it was crazy it was awesome and then we’re back home I went back to the hotel that night went to the room and we had 8 or 9 people sitting there trying to process all transactions fast I could which was really cool as well I’m just saying he’s huge stacks there war reforms and seeing our whole team go through processing orders and they what happened as the by the time was done we processed I think we had in the bank like 2.4 million but there was like like eight hundred plus thousand dollars and failed credit card payments and so next morning missed an email and we also texted every credit card fail and come back to the to the table so by Traveler morning I came down the booth the 10x booth was there and there was a line of people at 4 or 5 people deep like wrapping us through stanchions like you know the big line of probably 50 to 60 people in line gave their credit cards updated and then and then we text to grant and his team and said hey you go this was awesome I’m like I think I could push people over the edge you know this is a group full of sales people like they probably want to learn how to sell what if I did a special one-day event where I showed them how to sell with I just sold and if you give me ten minutes I think I can close another who knows worth the people and so they agreed so let me get back on stage the next day for about ten minutes come up there and basically tell everyone hey yeah we did three million dollars in sales if you guys want to see what we did everyone already signed up congratulations you get this for free I’m doing one day workshop I’m gonna walk us through how we do our presentation and then so you didn’t now’s the time push me over the edge stamp right now go get signed up and you get this bonus as well and apparently we said we got about another twenty fifty three hundred thousand dollars and sales came from that from this from the double close we nicknamed me at the double close so it was the second close in the second day and it was really really cool and uh yeah drink anything else want to share with you guys so would be that we’d be double close and I was it was amazing such a fun experience so I’m alright so with that said I’ve there’s twelve questions that Julie story and pulled off of Facebook that people were asking me like crazy I probably had already answered some of these I’m gonna go through it anyway and and then she’s probably good for this into a really cool blog post if you ever see a detailed detailed breakdown of this with images and screenshots of all the cool stuff we talked about it’ll also be posted on the marketing secrets blog over marketing secrets calm all right so here we go the title of these questions are the ten questions everyone keeps asking about selling three million dollars in 90 minutes there’s actually twelve questions so there we go right question number one how long do take you to create your presentation great question so the framework that I used was the framework for my funnel hatched presentation those would follow me for last three years I did start a brand new slide deck over I just slide number one I went through and created all new slides but I was taking a lot of sections from other presentations and kind of bleeding them in I started that Monday I worked on all day Monday and all day Tuesday let’s see all right Monday Tuesday and then Wednesday I flew to go see Dean gracio see so Wednesday I was him all day and we flew from from Boise Arizona spent all day there then from there we flew there to back to our hotel in in Vegas that night I spent some time and then Thursday I spent probably half a day so probably total said and done probably three three full days on the presentation if I was doing it from scratch will take a lot longer that obviously probably take me about we can have two two weeks there’s three days kind of reworking it and refiguring the whole thing out and getting it all to work number two I just come up with such a great offer so a couple things first off you know I’ve had my fun iyx offer for a while so I kind of know what the is and I was try to make it better right so what are the things we can add to make this offer even better than it already is if that’s if that’s possible and so that’s kind of where we were we started at they looks like my battery or camera here I’m using this presentation is overheating so I’m gonna pause this really quickly the battery cool down I’ll be back to answer question two to twelve here in a few seconds all right I’m back hopefully the camera won’t overheat again but during the break James thought it would be a good idea if I showed you guys a stack of the order forms processed so each one of these counts as a three thousand dollar bill so yeah that’s that’s three thousand so yes this works and as I’m storing this somebody well it wasn’t on the questions here I saw as I just go onto Facebook right click record something asking it where I made it my presentation from it’s like you guys this is the perfect webinar script if you haven’t read the expert seekers book yet literally it’s I just used the script that’s in the expert secrets book oh I have a problem with secrets I just tell everybody all my secrets and so the presentation is literally word-for-word from the expert seekers book same one that I’ve been using and trying to keep you all USU’s as well so they are all right back to the questions for question number two how’d you come up with such a great offer so again I just took our off we’ve been using in the past and we try to Ted exit the event named as 10x is like I kept saying like grant told me at NXT event how can make this better so instead of even a copywriting training I gave him funnel scripts instead of just kidding like traffic workshop I gave them traffic secrets um I did a call I did the webinar blueprint with Jason flatland last week before the event and one things he talked about it’s like when he tries to include bonuses he’s like first off I tried to like get proof that the bonuses actually worth a lot and so one of the bonuses was I gave people access to traffic secrets which is Jon Reese’s course on how to get traffic I bought the company from him license all the content from him and so said me saying hey good access to traffic secrets I literally showed here’s all the wire transfers all the money that I sent John Reese to buy traffic seekers from I spoke to give you this bonus it cost me almost a million dollars to mail you this bonus and and people were just going crazy like dude you spend million dollars and I gotta give you you know $3,000 for that so it makes it really big so example if your try created bone it’s like one thing Jason says really smartest is like I go to hire someone who’s awesome at this thing and I don’t just he saying usually I could get it for free because like instead I go and I pay them and I’ll like wire in $10,000 or something so I can show be like I literally spent $10,000 for this interview and you guys get it for free as part of this course so just gives you like a proof element but anyway that was kind of a cool thing but that’s kind of how we made the offer so great it’s software if you look at also a structure my offers is like when you invest in the funnel hacks training today I mean you all this other stuff for free so click funnels became free traffic secrets is free funnel scripts is free you know all the other things are all free free free free free learning the paying for is the actual training so that’s kind of a cool win structure and then again I had the bonus this way that felt like a cookbook and the audiobook they got to leave with which people love leaving events with stuff that they can like show they actually invest in something so they get they got the book they got the mp3 player and then uh what else what else oh and then the picture something they could only get right there’s like you get pictures meats you take at home and that way you’ve got a picture you can use and I told people to put on the wall as a reminder of the commitment they made they’re gonna 10x their business the next 12 months so those are some things for the offer what are the things you dread before a presentation to stay focused so for me like I get I still get nervous into smaller events usually I’m in rivers for an hour to before I go onstage this one I was in respect tuning out days before I got stage I just had this this nervous energy which wears you out so part of it he-man energy ups was like eating really healthy was like you know making sure I’m trying to get sleep at night and trying to like just keep energy up in the morning I’m getting ready I was like listening to music trying to you know get myself in state and then a lot longer for me is like getting down there like I had to go the night before and actually stand on the stage like some reason that calms my nerves I see like this is what its gonna look like what the audience is gonna look like that was a big part for me and then when I got down there was just like you know I pray a lot during these nervous times I’m praying live I’m gonna be able to serve the highest level I’m gonna be able to say the things are inspired people motivate people to actually change their life and yes a lot of praying and then when it gets really close I jump around eye cream energy out should I get prepared and ready and then start calling your name and the next thing you know you step out there and as soon as for measly something on the stage and I see everybody then all the nerves just kind of crash and then it’s like boom into state and used to go hope that helps number four what’s the hardest thing about logistics of processing that many cells so quickly so I can talk about that the fact nobody had pens there’s nowhere to send people to order forms and so kind of what we did with those packets and the sneak-attack the Trojan horse order forms and pens that was the biggest part to get to work and they have enough people to take orders we literally had people there over an hour along line just to build take people’s money which I felt bad the next three or four speakers because literally people on the hallway either buying or they were watching this whole circus that was happening out there this huge line so it was pretty cool I wonder if I’d how do you prepare your team under your company for this event it was a big a lot of preparation ahead of time we had pre meetings explaining the process and we got there we showed everyone kay here’s the tables are happening usually got to be doing here’s you get this you got to return this and if the most part worked really good we had some temp workers there he didn’t pay attention very well to kind of mess some things up but for the most part it ran really flawlessly it was just good number six how has it been since the event um it’s been been crazy I was in Vegas from the day in half afterwards just processing orders and get stuff done it was tough like man I I remember in the morning I need to get some water so there was this little shop where you can buy stuff right next to the elevator so I jump in elevators came down went to buy some waters and I got stuck out there for twenty five minutes taking pictures of people and like I’m in my jammies my hair is all messed up I’m tired Mike I just show you some water for my wife and I had someone came to me they’re like like you you buy your own water you’re the only multi-millionaire I know who buys their own water I thought was kind of funny that was kind of crazy and then um we needed to get b-roll though so part of me like we made three million dollars presentation I’m gonna make a lot more than three me telling the story this presentation and you’ll see some stuff coming out over the next few months of how we’re gonna keep keep this the momentum going but your part was like telling the story like we had I had three of my video guys they’re capturing stuff and one of them Dan usher he he’s making a promo promo video for the bonus like gay people with live events so anyway you guys will see that here in the near future but one of the things that that he wanted to think I want an aerial shot of the event because like you can’t find copter enamel Bay and so he went and rented a helicopter one of the helicopters there’s no doors on it and then we got to go in the helicopter and they harness this to the helicopter and then we flew at night past mandolin Bay and I got to hang out of the helicopter looking back him as he’s filming me Frank a three-second b-roll shot the really use in the promotional video so we did a lot of fun stuff like that and then my we got to my wife shopping to go get some clothes and myself shopping as well to go get closer lacking live so that which was kind of cool and then have that went to Michael Jackson show which was really cool as well and it was a good time but a good time it was hard to walk through the halls afterwards just get him on bar by Evan wanted to take pictures it was tough because I want to give everyone the chance and I was like if you bought you got your picture so like that was your shot and anyway it was just I feel so bad to how people know and I tell a lot people know and it’s just it was tough but that’s been craziest fun watching at Facebook that was talking about it apparently traffic inversion events happening right now and I’m out there but um my lunch my team’s there and they said that it’s the talk of the whole event everybody’s talking about it was having any texts and boxers and Facebook messengers people all over the place that are messaging about it so it’s kind of fun to just that it was that big of a deal that people know about it I never said what’s one piece of advice you give someone about stuff from stage or from the webinar study this book I spend here my life writing this book so you know exactly what to say how to say it where to say it and then go watch all my webinar it’s like even if you’re gonna buy my stuff watch to learn the process learn the energy level like all those 10 things you need to be able to produce a webinar and and to do it yeah model a Model Model Model like you know one of my friends who’s now has got a career writing webinar so people he told me is like I watched your Fox webinar at least a hundred times and I’m like people were doing webinars and like mic if you watch right and like no I haven’t seen yet like you kidding me like do your homework anyway there you go see like how I pitched why I pitched see my tonality my voice patterns by how did the stack and the clothes and how I create urgency and scarcity how mentoring questions like all those things are keys to it so you can read in the book but then go watch it to understand it [Music] number eight why did you have people do manual or said digital okay again everyone else who sold the event had people plot their phones and and click on the app to buy the product couple things number one when we were in the venue the app had no internet access people that were doing that the cells actually didn’t go through so a lot of their speakers rank okay well when you leave the event go and find it number two is half of selling is like the social pressure and the psychology behind like social proof this is actually real so it’s like people point to on their by nobody knows who else is buying we’ve all running up and they’re running someone they see a line that wraps around the arena and they see all this energy excitement and momentum so I don’t know the exact that is but like everyone else gets this so it must be something i needi part of as well so it causes a social situation here as well so that’s why we did the old-school web what instead of what would number nine what was the incentive for them to wait in that along the line during the table rush it was able to come get a picture with me which makes me make a dumb little thing but it’s important to people like I just know that every time I walk through the hallway before and after I was getting mugged by people who wanted the picture with me which is funny for my wife she’s like why do people want their picture with um I have no idea it doesn’t make sense to me either but that was a big thing that people people want that and gives them something tangible so that was the big part of class with a SATA line they got the physical fun like a cookbook and they mp3 players so it just gives it some tangible as well and we give Billy people to meet you some advise me you invest from you they want to meet you in or she can have a picture if you means the world to them number ten do you feel different now that you’ve broken another huge record honestly no I feel exactly the same my goal now is just not to let my head get too big but definitely to leverage it to grow clickfunnels even further so I guess said earlier like three three million dollars a 90 minutes is cool but the thirty million dollars were generating the next twelve months because of this because the story is more important and that’s what’s gonna happen next and that’s the most people give up most people do the first thing and then they stop we the first thing then you will watch watch those next three or four months is that how I leverage this you will definitely see it a number eleven is Grant Cardone getting kickbacks and saves his event yes you split the the proceeds of yourselves fifty-fifty with the event promoter the other ones did all the hard work yet they to get the people in the room so they get half of the profits and it’s totally totally totally worth it number twelve is anything you do differently [Music] maybe but I don’t know yet you know I think I think overall we executed pretty well we thought a lot through it and it worked really really well I think my my double close my second presentation I would have choreographed that one a little better may get some slides some things I just kind of let there and kind of talked so probably did choreograph that a little bit differently but for the most part really really happy with how it all went and yeah so there you go guys that was what happened at TEDx events have I made a million dollars in 90 minutes it was tons of fun looking on the near future as I tell this story more and I’m kind of walking you Jonas John welcome to the show hey anything from I’m glad to have you here so John’s a great friend of mine also he is the founder of online jobs dot pH pH standing for the Philippines and where he talked a little bit today about outsourcing and VA s and all that kind of fun stuff what actually works what doesn’t work what things you should look for when you’re wanting to bring someone else in and how you can actually do this so with all that said John let’s guys just dive right into this whole idea as far as outsourcing so how did you get involved in this thing so that that’s always a fun question over there I was not I was not a missionary there I did serve a mission for the LDS Church but I was in Brazil Brazil the Philippines I know dude everybody always asks I’m just a mission there no I didn’t so I was actually I taught a class at at Brigham Young University one day and I I team taught it with the owner of bat country calm and we didn’t know each other ahead of time but the the guy who was teaching the class brought us both in and and after class we were both talking and he he was obviously running like a billion dollar business an enormous business and and we were doing some similar things his was a side business and mine was like my main main business and he he says you know when you’re ready to start outsourcing some of this stuff make sure you go to the Philippines with it and I was like wow that’s different you know and I said why and he said well because in India when you tell them something and they say yes that means yes I heard something come out of your mouth it does not mean yes I understood what you said and that was my reaction to I was like Oh super different man you know and and I and I think it kind of just gave me a little bit of hope that that there might be something different than what I had experience cuz I had tried it in India and I had tried oDesk which is now up work and I had tried hiring people locally and and it was hard and when he told me that it it kind of gave me hope that I might have a different experience and he gave me a reference to where I could hire someone and I did and it completely changed my life that’s crazy kind of yeah your whole life is outsourced as I recall yeah I mean I mean Johnny you basically you just don’t do anything but basically just sit down all day long and wait for someone else to do your stuff right every time I every time I hang out with Russell he’s always like man I need to be more like you and I’m because like I wanna I should be more dedicated like he it’s he should work less like I do yeah I mean I work about 17 hours a week and every everything is I don’t do anything in my business other than just to tell other people what to do and those people are all in the Philippines I think it’s fascinating so let’s go talk about so obviously our funnel hacker community here we’ve got you know over 57,000 customers using click files all sorts of different skill levels and everything else what what types of things can they what types things can they outsource and how do they pick the right outsource I mean I get questions all the time as far as I just don’t want to do this I don’t what to do to hire the right people I don’t want to train them all that kind of stuff so just let’s dive right into the mechanics here what what works ok so I mean there’s a couple options one you can hire a freelancer right and and I want to clarify the difference here you can have a freelancer someone you hire on a like per project basis and you’re gonna hire that person that upwork.com or I think clickfunnels has some you know people that are trained on clickfunnels that will do something for you and this I hear is John doesn’t like freelancers I I don’t no because they don’t care about your business there once you pay them they’re gone and so any work or any effort that you put into bringing them out to speed in your business you lose that work or effort and and the next time you need something else done you have to go through that process again and I I just learned a long time ago that freelancers don’t help build a business they help you get something done but it doesn’t ever take any load off of you to hire a freelancer a contract worker someone per project right so that that you’ll never get to the 4-hour workweek doing it that way and so anything that I’m going to talk about today you can assume that I’m talking about hiring someone to work for you long term in your business whether they’re a part-time or full-time doesn’t matter but it’s a long term permanent hire I think that’s a real important thing because I’ve done both I’ve done the freelancer thing and the only time that’s never worked for me freelancer is fine for a graphic project or for some something where you’re trying to get something design or something real quick at least from my experience as long as you find the right people but if you want something like when you’re building your funnel you want something where someone’s working with you and you’re on it or your taxes or or anything that has some scalability to it at least from my experience you can’t be doing a freelancer does your right they just don’t care yeah and yeah you’re absolutely right and and then long-term you know like you hired someone who built your funnel your photos gonna change yeah you know and and do you want to go back and have to hire someone else to change your funnel that sucks you know or or someone built your funnel and now you want to add to it you want to add it an email integration or or you want to change your shopping car you want to you know whatever it is now you have to go hire someone else or no you want to start doing some SEO or some paid advertising and now you gotta hire someone else you know there there’s just there’s something with hiring someone who’s intelligent and having them do things for you because you’re teaching them how to do what they’re doing that takes a load off of you timewise and mentally so like very first person I ever hired was a programmer and I’m a programmer where I was so I that first guy who told me when I when I taught that class he told me to hire someone and I went back and forth for a couple months I waffled like I don’t know if I can hire someone to keep I don’t know if they can do is good of a job as I am I don’t know if I can keep them busy full-time I don’t know if I can afford it I ended up hiring someone and it was the most liberating experience of my life his full-time job was to do anything I asked him to do and so he started he did he did the programming that I had currently been doing and all of a sudden I was free to focus on other things and that changed right there what I realized I didn’t realize that then I’ve realized that over the years is my brain is really really good at solving problems in my business and coming up with solutions at creating marketing things or sales processes whatever it is when I’m not bogged down with whatever detail that I’m currently bogged down in my business and so hiring that full-time person lets you step away and work on your business instead of in your business and so that that you ask the original question was what works this is what works is hire hire someone long term permanent in your business so how do you actually go about I mean the hardest part I know for a lot of entrepreneurs when they’re in this situation I’ve gone through this myself and that is like gosh I don’t know it’s what you just said I know they can’t do it as well as I can am I gonna have to managing these people is it really gonna save me time so how do you go about finding the right people so I’m not sure you’re not gonna like this as you can see John will go back and forth we’re good friends on this thing so I’m not sure that’s even the right question okay cuz so what is the right question there all right so can can they do it as well as I can well that programmer was better than I was and and I and I didn’t think that was possible right other some other things like can they can they write as well as I can well you know like they’re not gonna write my style as well as I can there but I hate writing so I’m not gonna write and so it’s getting done whether it’s as good as I do it or not it doesn’t matter because it’s getting done so how do you find the good that right person that that’s the question everybody wants to know how do you how do you recruit someone who doesn’t suck yeah yes for a lot of people it’s limited resource they’re going to spend this money I gotta make sure it works yeah and you know for a lot of people here’s here’s the real the real kicker a lot of people approach this from the perspective of they’re hiring a freelancer a contract worker right because that’s all they’ve ever known and so in hire a contract worker you start off with the assumption that I don’t have enough time I can’t train this person because I don’t have enough time I can’t work with this person I can’t spend any time on this person because they don’t work for me long long term I can’t spend any energy on this person because they don’t they’re not my employee right so I’m gonna flip all of those things on their head and say if you hire a full-time person you can spend time on this person you can spend time training because now they’re gonna do something you’re currently doing which is gonna give you a couple hours back and if you spend twenty minutes of those two hours training them you’re so far ahead you can invest in this relationship because they’re gonna give you time back right okay so now that you’ve started your recruiting with those assumptions in mind it makes a lot of sense to spend some time recruiting a person to do something that you know how to do and when you recruit someone to do something you know how to do you’re so much more well equipped to find someone who’s really good so for me in the beginning I was recruiting a programmer and I’m good at programming and so I was so much more capable at at finding a good programmer and the person that I that I found his blog was a page rank six at the time which is ridiculous right because he had written a couple WordPress plugins that that like hundreds of thousands of people were using the guy was incredibly talented and he was making two hundred and fifty dollars a month for full-time work yeah just just silly and that’s not the going rate for someone like that today that’s this is your twelve years ago but the point is when you when you pick something that you are currently doing and you recruit someone to do that thing that you’re doing your ability to recruit is so much better than if you go out to find someone to do something you don’t know how to do if you’re not a programmer you don’t have a program in the very first person you recruit is a programmer I have a really hard time telling you how to pick someone who’s doesn’t suck now I I have some things that I can tell you to do but my but the very first thing is to kind of change what you’re recruiting for and and get some time back in your life and find if you’re currently writing articles or writing social media poster or doing whatever you know doing social media whatever it is find someone to do that for you if you’re currently building your final and you know how and you’re modifying and tweaking it find someone to take over your click funnel for you teach them and then you’re gonna get some time back in your life and you know how to recruit that person you know the skills they need you know you know what’s important in recruiting them I think that’s fantastic I think spreads and best advice is too often people want to have hire someone where they don’t know the skill themself and it’s a lot easier to hire someone where you already know the skill and just by that time back yeah buy yourself some time in your life and then you can move on to someone who hiring someone to do something you don’t how to do cuz you can definitely do it but the first thing to do is something that you do know how to do I love that what else should they be looking for okay so here’s here’s my recruitment process number one I do I do my own recruiting and and that’s that’s key everybody always comes to us and they’re like oh I want someone to do it for me because it’s too hard and and I know because we’ve done this hundreds of times if we recruit someone for you our which we don’t do very much our chances of success are 50/50 just we’re pretty good at it but it’s not my chance of success of recruiting someone for myself is like 80 80 percent I think that’s something people have to understand that’s really critical is you can’t outsource that part it’s kinda like you don’t outsource you’d love making we you want to make sure that I mean you’re bringing someone in here so invest in that recruiting time invest in that time where you’re like you know what I’m gonna recruit this person and bring them on my team and spend that time yeah and that will make you so much better after you’ve hired them it’ll it’ll make it’ll turn them into a rockstar much faster if you do the recruiting yourself okay so here’s here’s a couple recruiting tips number one do not do a Skype interview and that goes against everything that everybody always says I think a lot of people just like to repeat a good idea that they hear that sounds good right interview them via Skype no don’t do a Skype interview Filipinos don’t want to do a Skype interview if you insist on doing a Skype interview you’re gonna lose good potential recruits because they’re scared there’s a guy okay I’m just gonna be out I’ll testify to that one for sure I have I did that I did that a couple times and they were so apologetic the entire time they were we’re there because I did this interview with a video camera and they’re like totally embarrassed of their conditions and where they’re at and I’m like oh my gosh it just made such an awkward terrible terrible terrible yeah yeah don’t do it skip the Skype in view unless this person is gonna be talking on the phone for you like talking to customers then do a phone Skype interview not a video one okay second when you’re recruiting send lots of emails and ask lots of questions so here’s what I’ll do I will start with you know are you looking for a job yes okay tell me why I should hire you I don’t want to hear because you’re hardworking and you’re dedicated in whatever I I wasn’t creative tell me something creative about yourself and then from there I’ll move on to asking two or three or four questions per email for three or four or five or ten emails and I want to ask lots and lots of questions because what I have found is this is a this is a remote worker right you don’t get to sit in an office with them so there are different characteristics that I need that are different from an office like in an office I know you’re sitting here every day remote I don’t know that and so when I when I ask these questions I number one I get to see their English and you know it’s it’s reasonable to fake a profile on online jobs dot pH it’s you know it’s reasonable to have so your friend help you write your profile it’s not reasonable to have your friend respond to questions over and over and over again so you can just see their English and just so you know you know in a technical position this is completely the English skills are not important programmers designers webmaster English is not not relevant their social media writing it’s important right okay so number two I get to see their responsiveness if if they respond every day or twice a day or within an hour after I email them while I’m recruiting them the chances of them responding really quickly after I’ve hired them are really high if it takes them two days to respond while I’m recruiting then after they’re after I’ve hired them it’s gonna janseva taking them two days to respond is really high and that doesn’t work for me in a remote relationship where if you’re not responding for two or three days I don’t know if you’re working at all because you’re not in the office with me right okay so the other thing that does is it lets me gauge their attention to detail because for me in my brain I need someone else who’s very detail-oriented because I’m not and so it it tells me if I ask you four questions and you only respond to three of them well when I give you four tasks to do you’re only gonna do that right and that doesn’t work for me so in my recruiting process I always ask lots of questions over lots of emails and get lots of communication and I find I usually find that it I end up with a gut feeling and that gut feeling is usually pretty correct so actually hire someone then if you’re going back and forth like this is this week’s is days it depends depends on the person right like if they’re responding if I if I start an interview process with them if I start emailing them and they’re responding immediately I might get five emails in in an hour and be like yeah I want to hire you when can you start tomorrow okay great here’s your first task right it can literally take an hour it could take two weeks you know like if I maybe I’m not feeling great about this first person maybe maybe I’m now recruiting someone else and you know maybe I’m not getting what I wanted the first time so it could take up weeks but but usually like if you’re talking to someone and you decide this is I want to hire this person it’s like okay start tomorrow great let’s do it I love it so what are some things I know you outdoors everything but what give people some ideas as far as what are some of the things normal businesses owners would outsource and then worsen the wild crazy things that you’re outsourcing so one of the things I would say do not outsource is creative marketing so like don’t don’t hire someone to you’re building a quick funnel don’t hire someone to write your message like you’re the business owner you know the customers you need to write your message you need to be the creative person I’m not saying you have to create the creative you know design is you can hire a designer to do that but you should drive the messaging you know don’t hire someone in the Philippines to create customer-facing marketing materials unless you’re involved in it and then it’s fine do hire someone to manage your clickfunnels do hire someone to manage your social media I’ll tell you this is something that people are super hesitant about I hate Facebook and and I I just feel like it’s the biggest time suck and so it dude it’s like it sucks you if you if you even glanced at it it just sucks and you just wasted an hour right um so for years I avoided it and and two of the girls in the Philippines that work for me we’re always like we got to do more on Facebook can we do this on Facebook can we start doing social media marketing I’m like no we can’t because I don’t I don’t know how to do it and I don’t want to be involved in it so finally they presented me a plan with like here’s what we can do and and I’m finally like okay fine you guys could use kiss I felt bad saying no to them all the time when they’re trying to improve my business you know and and so I was like fine write me some example posts of what you’re gonna do and they sent me some stuff and I was like okay you know I mean this is this is reasonable I would have changed this in this mess and I turned them on I turned him on to write and for the first like couple of weeks I was checking everything and making sure and then I stopped because I was like okay you guys you guys know what you’re doing better than I do here so today all my jobs has like I don’t know 160,000 likes you know if we’ve never done anything anything sneakier or we never bought like sign it’s like it’s all legitimate and I’ve never made a single post that’s impressive John not surprising but impressive so so I mean there’s like crazy amounts of stuff you can outsource design programming webmaster social media content writing customer service admin web map you know anything that can be done online can be outsourced or insourced I love that super cool so as people start looking obviously I mean you have online jobs dot pH what are some of the things they need to be looking for when they’re they’re working with a company like yours what should they be looking for know what how do they pick the right agency to work with that’s a good that’s a that’s actually a really good question okay so there’s a couple ways to find someone that’s really what you’re asking where do you find someone so I own online jobs dot pH but let me start with another option we’ve already talked to it up work where you’re gonna hire a freelancer and in they well you know my opinion on it right and the problem there is is they’re not gonna work for you forever they’re not gonna work here for a long time and and if you hire someone in the Philippines that is not on up work they might work for you forever and that’s just how the loyalty is in the Philippines it’s it’s amazing so you can go through an agency to find someone this is how I got started in the very beginning because there wasn’t another option so there’s tons of companies in the Philippines where they set up an office in the Philippines and they recruit workers and they bring them into the office and they mark up their salaries and they lease them back to you and and that’s fine there’s a couple issues where that one they mark up the salaries you know so like you’re paying $1500 a month and they’re paying that worker $400 a month but you know okay that’s not that big of a deal it’s you know a $10,000 a year thing whatever but the other issue is that generally you have a recruiting pool of like three people right who is your option that’s your option right and the very first the very first person that I had he was great the second person sucked and I there was nothing I could do about it because I didn’t have the option of recruiting for myself another option that I’m gonna give you is Craigslist you can try crate Manila manila Duck craigslist.org but I’ll just warn you there are crazy amounts of scams on there because it’s all free and I mean I heard someone the other day tell me I put a job on Craigslist and most of the most of the responses were from India I’m just saying there’s just so much scamming going on there and online jobs up pH we’re just a marketplace like there’s half a million Filipino resumes so you’re gonna go in and and recruit the person you want to recruit it’s between you and them so when when you ask what should someone be looking for and looking for a company really there’s not that you know there’s like you can go through an agency and and pay the markup and be limited or you can do some work yourself and find the person another option actually is to do some user like a recruiting agency what if they don’t have offices in the Philippines the people work from home but they’ll recruit someone for you and you know like I said before we’re pretty good at it and it’s like 50/50 you know so it’s still just 50/50 nope well I appreciate it ton John any parting words serious we’re get ready to wrap things up here anything else you want our users to make sure they know this course no I mean the reality is you have to try it you know you have to you have to try it and see like does this work for me because otally beer at that you gotta try cuz for me saying I work 17 hours a week and I’ve seen lots of other people do this successfully you know like thousands of people do this successfully doesn’t mean it’s gonna work for you you know you you have to try it and see you know the potential downside is you you spend a couple hundred dollars the potential upside is you get hours and hours back in your life and I think that’s the main thing I want people is kind of a takeaway is no matter where you are in your career your business or your life the most important thing is your time you got to find some way buying back time I don’t care if it’s limited hiring I think the first thing ever hired in my life was a somebody start mowing the lawn and then it was a housekeeper and I mean it just keeps going from there and and all this and you’re like gosh this I’m not good at this I don’t like doing it why should I do it and I’m I can buy back that time and spend spend that time with my family and with others that I really want to spend time with so I think no matter what you got to find some way buying back time and online jobs not pH is a great place to go ahead at I’ve been to this funnel so means there’s an upsell there’s a downside so the audiobook up sort of training programs like that so right now it on average I spent $20 on ads to sell a book and I make about $40 what just happens is that I get $20 cash net profit in my pocket and I get a customer and then I tell the customer either surely through software called flip phones to track and he tried for free and doesn’t always the possibly $20 give the customer a $20 before he told the customer about what I’m to himself he’s getting this the PC did I spend it once I spent a second time is that way I don’t understand so people pay you to become a lead and then they read your book and they’re completely indoctrinated may your belief system then they start up and there’s a conscience or anything like yes be awesome he’s like yeah three or four times a fine that was very last time you said if what you’re saying is true this will change business as we know it forever so yeah that’s my mission that’s what I’m trying to figure he’s understand this one funnel was just more than even 127 million dollars in funding we blew past both of these companies lessons Reese that’s fatalis else fails all number two people selling information products number three see people selling key commerce products and before people even coaching or consulting number five people to the network marketing number six local businesses doing anything chiropractic dental you know that a lot of business to business people just looking for lessee generate you’ve got a whole bunch of people who are bloggers or affiliate marketers we’ve got nonprofits and then we got a bunch doing what it’s just getting started that’s custom oh yes pick up everybody hopefully there’s no one I missed right so I wonder stand it here’s member the commercial from back in the 90s when iPhone first came out and the right there’s matter that oh you need this there’s not for that okay just like there’s an app for that of Chrome so there’s a funnel for that whatever business you and there’s a funnel for that good so the question that is how do you know what type of funnel to build okay and we do that we figure out what that is through very fun simple process that we call funnel hacking that’s what you guys I’ll get your nickname yeah let me explain how follow how it works I’m going first cause I learned from Tony Robbins Twitter Robbins Toby’s they said why don’t she success yeah all you need to do is find a way to model those from RT succeed right now I’m so looking back at my career things I’ve been good at and I was arrested growing up does wrestler my first custard I was not only not good I was bad my first almost every single time remember the end of the season my dad took me to the state tournament and said to him all the guys on my high school’s team won the state title into three-time state champ my dad maybe or take what he did and we watched it and that whole summer would watch the video of this guy and my dad teach me the moves that he was doing it’s also longer practicing their practice night practice I found some who’s good I modeled them they’re very sorry to your time left from being a really bad wrestler to be a state champ to going to high school masters take a second place in the country should become an all-american potentially going to college being talk to em Russell’s the country okay now because copy that was amazing restaurant cuz I found people were super successful and modeled what worked my startup business is the same thing I would say close I went to college to wrestle people I selected green I was like my degrees in wrestling I didn’t know the classes were said I barely graduated it’s towards the end of it I started learn about internet name I peak business class then keep entrepreneur class I think I just knew that I want to make some money it took out mine I started seeing people were successful like these people are Jesus’s thank you but I can see what they’re doing I’m just gonna model they start modeling what they were and I was in a year of graduating from college it over a million pay same thing is true in sales for this one have to be cell phone geniuses decal that I do every single day are you guys look around to find something in your industry or the similar issues having success and the model okay never steers think somebody’s like that’s no smile is keep my saying you can always tell that the pioneers are because they’ve got arrows in their back face down in the dirt okay in this industry you don’t want to be a pioneer you don’t want to go try things first time I ever got this I was actually added a bit and there’s a guy on stage names Porter Stansberry and Porter worked for a company called Agora publishing Hemi guys Nevada guara they do over 1.5 billion dollars a year selling financial newsletters biggest fight actually was that our company world okay he says it borders up there our state’s human a division called stands for research which is the biggest division at the time and he’s going through all his numbers as metrics he’s so into sales funnels I’m like in the back like I was freaking out right taking notes and everything he’s talking to me miles a minute and also he stopped he said you know what’s it to see you said every single years people who see or do you hear – Cora publishing and then want a conduit they want to compete against you so the first thing to come out they try to do some prices they come and they still required for secret is that we know from decades of doing this that you cannot make those numbers work the metric system work so then they figure that out eventually they try something different try through four teams to finish they go bankrupt in these business okay the biggest thing that kill box person is it nothing to have vision they do have visual usually you can run our time or money before they have ability to execute on a vision okay and Porter said at this time said if you want to compete with the core publishing you can’t try to compete with us you said you gotta copy us there’s writing copy to split testing things am I gonna go try all those things I don’t have the money out of the budget to do that but I could go look at like all the the Pioneers didn’t have all the arrows when I come over here like you’re working today all the right here oh that’s what’s working today I should just want that that’s what we do okay that’s the way success so quickly is my finding people who are you succeed in remodeling good alright so stepping one is the hiking process is to find somebody to follow that so when we watch yourself accompany kids my first stuff in the company and we were selling some people had diabetic neuropathy and I was too serious like me knows that there’s having success it’s gotta be somebody we found this little website like this is probably the ugliest website I think I’ve ever skied in my life I thought purple and black and weird but I need some research with some Intel I found out at the time that they’re making about $100,000 a month sorry to supplement I was like okay cool they know what they’re doing I’m a marketing you guys I’m gonna do it better cuz I know a better way to do it and then I was like wait a minute maybe they have some arrows in the back I don’t know what people with diabetic neuropathy very short period time this little website start making us about $20,000 a month okay which is cool then I was like there’s gonna be something else 13 that I’m missing it what is it how they having some success so I did what everybody did entrepreneur nice to become good acuity pulled my wallet out of my pocket pulled my credit card out and had bought their product would even be in the season I miss you know unfortunately for me and also for them they didn’t have much on the back end and just kind of ended there’s gotta be some Derek knows that they’re doing in this industry so when outside I started looking for other companies eventually I found a supplement company and I met the owner of merit about thirty million dollars a month some other stuff that I might this guy knows what he’s doing what’s the website look different it looked like this this video and Add to Cart button there might be weird I clicked on the button it took an order for my fist on the order for remember they offered three we don’t never see something like that and then I was like okay I gotta see what else it can behind-the-scenes so I took every bit Entre Nous her house to keep gonna doing my credit card out of my wallet I bought the product that was crazy I went to the next page the next page he up slowly sits near bottles of the exact same thing I just purchased and we’re looking at he just hit me I’m a drug addict his tempers and stuff like do that and of course I was like this guy’s crazy I’m a marketing guy I’d know better how I thought it would get Aslam then luckily for me I took my pride there by myself I said maybe they’ve got some arrows from the back maybe they know something I don’t know so I’m just gonna just go through the process and his earth observe so went through and this was their funnel those five pages you guys making them five save me three million dollars a month so then I look to Dennis okay now I know what I need to create now I have my business model my just plan it so I took I’ve run in fright board a big white boarding guy like most of us and I wiped out keep this run you crate upon me success in this market it’s funny keep always company with like their business plans like 85 pages I’m saying can you just doodle it on a napkin like this because that’s the business model for me that’s the business plan so there’s my business plan then Auggie’s clickfunnels we build out the pages so I modeled the look in the film way out I didn’t copy anything to notice but I want the look the feel the layout the price place the structure this is the first page of mind and I’m order form with one three and four bottles just like they had and I had enough so six more bottles the exact same thing and then tour the products and so the process looks very very similar okay now what’s cool that’s when we finish this this page build this funnel out then we launched it and this little funnel was making $20,000 a month comes $20,000 a day he’s getting this like it is insane how easy it is people like me people like there’s people out there already doing this your could be meant to will so if I was working and then we model it okay and the cool thing about this for me is the my total investment to get over a million dollars for the final acts Corp all these people see exactly what they’re doing it’s under hundred bucks I said you wanna put my wallet all right I credit card on my wallet and buy the products to happen okay well surely this is what my friends drew canole in his partner to mail they own a company called organifi and after I watch myself but they were about to launching tonight what do we do how do we do it I was like you should just copy me and so this is a really quick like a 30-second video of him explaining what they did to watch it organifi checkouts video so real quick back story on I had a chance to go out and spend a little while with these guys they’re coming we’re about to launch the supplement and and then I look at our photo what we do and I was like just copy mine works Lucas I love people trying to talk about what happened when you guys did your funnel and then some of the results that happened since then yeah I’d like to reinforce eyes his point about just cloning and copying and modeling what works so we are a digital product company we have information products coaching products and we were doing about a million a year and I managed all the sales funnels and skills optimization and we were gonna come out with physical product line and we were like you know who’s done this before who’s been really successful we reached out to Russell he helped us model exactly Universal actually it’s funny because I’m looking at were you mild and I had the exact same reaction the first upsell that we have in place and more of the same thing that they just bought we were like that doesn’t make any sense so we sold them a bottle of our new product called organifi our first one time offer was three more bottles after they already bought them and the take rate was like twenty or thirty percent then we thought you know Russell actually mentioned you know we should implement subscription on everything so we had three options we modeled exactly Russell’s first sales page one bottle three bottles for bottles modeled is pricing 47 129 149 exactly to say sorry she’s feeling everything we done it works yeah and then once we implemented all the pieces we in actually like a week which is crazy we matched his results we’re doing a lot of yeah yeah for the first day the gates we did 12,000 sales the second day we did 34,000 the third day we did 36,000 and and that was just you know opening the gates and every single day after that we’ve done around 15 and 20,000 because of the way that the funnels are structured so it’s it’s really exciting and we owe a lot to Russell I mean he came out he helped us with our funnels he broke down everything we’re doing Ryan we doing right and showing exactly what they did and we just copied it and it works all right now this happened so fast Ford so here’s that before they launch this funnel they’re not a million dollars a year it was crazy you’re number one out he launched his funnel unfortunately we did 10x their business we 20x today 20 million dollars not final year one and it’s grown since then so you guys are one phone away for the next three company I promise you that every single you guys like he’s just you’re that close so who the photos work for again they work for all the different business we talked about agencies freelancers info products ecommerce coaching consulting network marketing local businesses b2b lead generation plugin Philly’s not prophecy if you’re skinny started this is the way to start okay go through some of you guys like I don’t see how this works for me somebody has an example so if you run an agency a freelancer this is an example of someone of our friends they live in the Philippines and I have a lot of Filipinos works between different projects yeah no no she is at almost the point she’s about to pass thousand dollars in sales Guinea people for her agency to the state she’s gonna richest people there now right okay all by using a very simple thing we were generating leads then the video sells them and they get it signed up for her agency okay if you’re selling for me how many guys have heard are selling information products of any sort okay if you’re selling information products this is one man for product funnels okay this is where I sell my books we got seller audio books courses things like that okay this funnel in the last like eight months you sold over a hundred thousand copies of my book and drove thousands of thousands of thousands of people into click funnels okay so if you’re selling information products you should funnel hack this phone this is the process I’m here to sell physical products ecommerce related stuff okay this is a one of train loans one of our members he had a couple Shopify store so much stuff one of his Shopify stores were selling flashlights and it was one of his gods it wasn’t working and he was moving up so they had a whole bunch of like a whole closet full of these flashlights he’s only those guys like just thrown up on click like build a funnel just launch and see what happens you took this moon upon clicks on shifting it from like an e-commerce store sent to store fronts like by the flashlight I’ve so battery packs upsell warranties things like that this some of the twenty million dollars in the first six weeks after it lost that crazy I know he’s got the record for the fastest biggest puddle inside of clickfunnels and it’s all selling flashlights okay under you guys are selling coaching or consulting in any matter of life thoughts business clothes finance courses like that okay this is my coaching phone this coaching funnel it cost me on average generally about thirty to forty dollars to generate a lead you know that and then on the back end we make about $1,500 every one those leads that happen okay this little funnel is a side business I have on the side I’ve got one salesperson who calls those application leads okay and does over two and a half million dollars a year just on the side through coaching funnel so if you haven’t if your coach or consultant or attention or any kind of leads they’re gonna come three qualified you should final hack and model this stylus on that’s how it works good have you guys there network marketing all right my network markers back this is I didn’t tell him to stephen Larson’s actually out the audience here somewhere there is right there so Steven is network marketer okay he doesn’t talk to friends and family day he still has friends and family now is pretty awesome because he drives people through network marketing funnel he gives people to come this page heap reason why he’s amazing then they feel an application before even tells them what is what is he selling it goes relationship with them and then on the third page he did he tell by the way this is what we sell and people just sign up because they have a relationship with him he takes him through a funnel to put a relationship before he signs people up okay it’s powerful how many guys run local type businesses you have Jin’s car dealerships dentists chiropractor okay yeah a lot of you guys this is one of the easiest ones in the world we’ve got I try to show you man probably forty or fifty chiropractors Bobby he’s four or five hundred team owners we’ve done simple funnels like this they’re blowing up gyms like crazy look at the chiropractor place like it’s very very simple very easy to do in local markets see almost easier there than anywhere else yep I’m you guys looking just for more lean turn BD beat you just want more lease coming into the door this is really powerful I be lead funnel that’s really awesome as well if you’re blogging this was my friends just a blogger it’s just I got the bargain I make money to mechanist of how what photos work I’m like will build a final song something else that’s just always goes from a blog into her funnels she launched his first column during Christmas on July twenty or thirty thousand dollars in the first weekend okay and then anyone who’s new non profit this is our first non profit who hit the two comma Club he’s got eight different funnels he driving people in and he is heroes he’s Christian nonprofit camps for kids and he is crushing he’s out for five days with nonprofit funds he’s driving people through good and if you any of you guys then went here in the audience run trips we take people to go hunt for Bigfoot nobody this dude literally does that he’s got a click photos page he’s right and I found this was a joke I thought it was so like like a smoothly but because I mean I can I look down to see what people are actually doing he had 18 thousand dollars in the last few months selling trips to go hug Bigfoot with him I don’t care what you guys are selling at pharmacy there’s a photo for you we can take implement your business and blow yeah all right so where do you find a good fertile and how’d you know the phone was actually making money you don’t want to funnel hack someone’s broke right well if I don’t have to win her so this is right you’re number one I go to a website called clickbank.com who’s makes amazing the name over a hundred thousand successful sales funnels okay everything that’s the business to everything fact there’s even this one right here this is the funnel of teach people how to build chicken coops which I thought this again was a book and I contacted you so me as numbers they’re killing at least both chicken coops so don’t care if you’re selling cars to business to weight loss to chicken coops there’s a funnel Clickbank you can be the model now you go to clickbank the very top is but says marketplace you click on the marketplace and then it takes you to page right here now the clothing on marketplaces that categorizes things based on industry so over here on left hand side you can say look I’m an investing business finance gardening like whatever you want you click on the category and then it when it does that archive then it shows you on the page all the funnels that are in there but it categorize the based on which funnels making the most today okay okay I’m in finance let’s this balloon that fast I’m like these are the funnels are making the most money right now okay is right now this one I did health and fitness and then went to top of health and fitness and number one there is a website called Venus factor yep so then I go to Venus factor calm whatever the mornings for you and this is where I figure but all good over there was a half become gonna doing and pull my wallet out of my pocket and I buy their product taste my photo fat I finally had to be nice factor and as these four pages actually what’s 2001 seconds when I found these back to Clickbank is actually a Boise’s well Clickbank and click funnels growth in Boise I don’t know why it’s kind of fun to hide a chance to go out to dinner or to lunch with the owner and the CEO of Clickbank and I’m always curious and I suppose it I said they close to that is the more of that lesson give you a ballpark he smile he said more than double that $100,000 the day these factors made you okay so then I come over here again I felt like the product and that’s it one two three four those four pages are making them $100,000 a day is that worth my thirty seven dollar investment to buy the product if I’m the weight loss industry heck yeah but even if I’m not on the side of story any other kind of information product the world it’s it like this is valuable information right I can find out what they’re selling another still the price prints are working right now I can see everything okay so step figures I buy their product a final hack yet something before now I go to the right we’re gonna sketch it up pay someone to look like this this is the price play this v-space to pay so you pay for now I know what I need a trait now I’ve got a business model that I can go and actually do something I’m not just guessing and hoping and hoping that’s gonna be good right that’s for my hockey you guys that’s how we f Utley still over a million dollars for the final hacks of our competitors for under $100 all right now move on to secret for two or three days cloud to get the best salesperson on planet earth to Co sales for your products 24 hours a day seven days a week got over complaining asking for a taking part I break it and bring it into this I’m curious I’m gonna route a group room right now 9,000 salespeople how many just think you’re the best salesperson in this room right now raise your hand who do you think you’re the best all right let’s do a long time how do you guys think you are the best salesperson its entire room right now who’s got big egos congratulations the most important Kenny so I told how many cells phones kinda like cloning the top salesperson in your organization letting closed cells for you 24 hours a day seven days a week okay won’t understand that the best salesperson inside of your company is probably you right I’m the best salesperson on planet Earth to sell clickfunnels there’s nobody that bit okay to kind of illustrate this when I watched my very first book the dot-com secrets book after his long head was really successful and then a little while later I can weeks later Tony Robbins called me on the phone which is like the coolest thing in the world right it’s only have like three times in my life and it’s insane so this is actually a picture they took of me when Tony called me entire funnel so we did it with here we had page number one story someone’s book page number two then was Tony up selling his ultimate edge program and the number three was turning up so he’s loving product I just got plugging the funnel now for it for now for the rest of time that’ll sell his book limp over and over and over and over over you and however sighs whatever okay you guys have made What’s up everybody this is Russell Brunson welcome to the marketing secrets podcast if you watch this here on youtube I encourage you to like subscribe and comment read all comments and we are gonna chairs to do some really cool stuff so the big question is this power on viewers like us who didn’t cheat and take on venture capital we’re spending money from our own pockets how do we mark it in a way the lets us get our products and our services and the things that we believe in out to the world and yet still remain profitable that is the question in this podcast we’ll give you the answers my name is Russell Brunson and welcome to marketing secrets alright ready so I want to talk today about internal project we have called project mother funnel and I’m really excited about it and I think I’ve told you guys a little couple little secrets about it but today Brandon pullin from a lady boss weight loss asked me like what is what is a mother funnel tell me about it I want to know and so I started telling him I was geeking out and I’m like alright I’m gonna do podcast list today cuz there’s some cool strategy behind it and what we’re doing now I want to preface this strategy may not be perfect for all of you guys or at least not all of you yet but long-term it’s something that is really really cool so we as you know launched click funnels and simmias for my store before it took us five funnels before excuse me six the sixth funnel is gonna finally took off and and then we took off it was awesome and it’s grown and it’s been nuts it’s been literally Christmas every day since!

Well no oh my girl a there’s a couple Halloween’s in there but for most part Christmas every single day but it’s been awesome and was interesting those when we first launched click forms like our goal was like conversion conversion like how do we as many people in as possible and that was always the thing was really at the free trial we have like high converting landing pages and like you know all that kind of stuff and it’s been really really good not talking down against any of that but it’s interesting as we’ve grown I remember when we first launched and clickfunnels, Todd told us he’s like based on how many people were adding he today he said as soon as we get to the point where out 60,000 subscribers he’s like we won’t be able to go anymore because based on our chair numbers like I don’t know the chair numbers they like let’s say 10% of people turn each month at 60,000 members that’s 6,000 people a month at our journey it’s a guiding 6,000 people in future needing like whatever anyway whatever the numbers were at about 60,000 members that’s when we stopped growing we’re just it flatlines and I didn’t make any logical sense to me until we got 55,000 customers and then it started even slower than 56 took way long than 57 took way longer and we’ve been sitting out with 57 for last couple weeks and Ike we were getting close to 50 a but it’s like everything slowing down to a screeching halt and I’m like Todd Notredamus Todd was right once again how’s he know everything all the time drives me crazy don’t tell him I told you that but he seems to always be right and he’s right again

And so on on our side on my okay what do we got to do so obviously we’re doing a lot of things we’re fixing cleaning up on board and cleaning up the user experience UI some cool UI still coming out you guys the next couple months which is so exciting but all my sites that have any skills to do anything other than like the sales funnel so I might okay how do we do the sales phone change it out because interesting is we had this thought of like the problem is like we’re have conversions so high that everybody can come in and sign up which is good as we’re growing but now it’s what we’re like actually hurts us because some people coming in and all that kind of stuff so like how do we flip this around malla same time with some testing we felt we were looking at are all our different fronted offers different books and things like that and I did a podcast on this I believe but there’s a huge a huge difference in what products simply purchase immediately before they join clickfunnels and and then their their stick rated sure their churn rate like there’s a direct correlation so if they buy this product first they’re gonna be there and say wait longer versus this product I mean less so I was like holy cow this whole pre framing pre suasion thing that we talking about is actually true like it’s it’s a legitimate thing the preframe somebody enters your world and we’ll have a hundred century with how long they stick what they do how they buy how they send everything it’s like gang so we need to focus more on on on architecting the pre-frame right and

So that’s what project mother funnel came about and it’s something that this is not new it was called project super funnel last year and we just didn’t have the team the people in place to do it and after surveillance agency finding out the point we’re like we have the team now we’ve got the copywriters the designers the programmers like the developers like all the people we need to actually make project mother funnel become my in fact one of them my camera who was it was one that coined it like it’s like a mother funnel I’m like that’s the new name so it’s literally called project mother funnel in our Trello board anyway so this is kind of the the gist of how it works the goals are to think number one is to actually decrease conversions to weed out the people that are most likely gonna churn anyway and then – after we weed out those people than to significantly affect the pre-frame that somebody goes through before they sign up for the trial there’s the concept right how we doing that so when somebody comes you’ll see this live in my next 16 30 to 60 days now sixty the live events in like 28 days that’ll be hopefully if we get done really soon in that maybe we go off live after the event anyway becomes a landing page and on the landing page they’ll be video and then it basically asks you at which one of these markets you know we’ve we’ve kind of broken clickfunnels down into ten segments now and so some of those self-select like oh well i’m an agency or oh i’m in this i’m in this no they’ll select like the type of businesses they’re in.

After then we’ll redirect them we’ll get them to opt in it will take them to a sales page that’s specifically written for that market okay this is the pre frame we’re trying to adjust and and affect the pre frame so they’ll go through to see this pre frame of this page that’ll show them how click forms works for them number one cancellation reason we have outside of it’s too expensive is which by the way it’s not about excuse so I don’t believe it they’re number one valid excuse people have what a cancel is because they can’t figure out how it actually works for their business or their industry or whatever and so this page will identify which one these ten markets you and then it specifically sells you on that’s like oh cool your in retail let me show you how funnels work for retail it sells them specifically where they are so it should be a frame that’s gonna increase their their their stick rate because they come through this frame it helps matter said how click on was actually for their business and then they sent for the trial so we lengthen the process decrease initial conversion pushed out a lot of those who would just turn out anyway and those who we who are gonna churn now know who they are and we increase the likelihood to stick because of the pre frame we took them through and and then after they they they either sign up the trial they don’t then they get three emails afterwards each email has a case study if somebody in their industry I showing how it works for them specifically and it pushes them back to their specific sales letter

People buy on emotion. This requires you to connect with your audience. There is no better way than by being vulnerable. But “How Vulnerable”? There is a fine line from being authentically vulnerable and being vulnerable only to sell. People can see right through this and it can hurt you more than help you. If you truly want to help those in your influence, then you need to show them how the product has helped people like them. That person can potentially even be you.

When we allow ourselves to become vulnerable with our audience we build a relationship with them. And what happens when you have a relationship with somebody? They trust you. With this trust your audience will be more willingly to confide in you and trust you with their testimonials.

marketing god this is the whole concept of vulnerability and how vulnerable you actually are in your marketing and how it actually impacts you in the way in which you connect with your audience I’ve been going back and forth on this it again props out to Russell I love him like a brother and he’s a dear friend and I because he’s that close to me he’s able to give me a lot of the counsel and advice that I probably wouldn’t take from others but it was really fascinating the other day when we were talking about the importance of of being more emotional and expressing those emotions and let him people feel the feelings that you’re having and it came up just the other day when I was we did a Facebook live yeah yesterday with Natalie Hodson and with Kailen and it was fascinating because I look at Natalie and the things that she’s done and her success has come because of her vulnerable tough work vulnerability what I mean by that is she started off when I first met her over a year ago she had kind of a product similar to a Dollar Shave Club basically was a dollar Fitness Club where basically got a fitness a dollar a day fitness tips and things and she was having success with it but not the success that she was hoping to really get not the real true to common club type of a success that she was wanting and so she ended up as she was doing one of these videos she actually ended up peeing her pants on a live video and obviously most of us would be totally humiliated couldn’t deal with it and would have shut the camera off she kept the camera rolling and she kept the camera rolling it was fascinating to me to see how she connected now wasn’t she just peed her pants cuz she peed her pants it’s because she’s had kids and she doesn’t as for a lot of women their dominant muscles and their pelvic floor muscles aren’t as strong and just couldn’t control that part of their bladder and it was fascinating how she was able to be so 100% vulnerable and what ended up happening for her is she’d up creating a completely new product based off of four women who basically have had kids who are trying to control their bladder it’s a medical condition and the fascinating thing to me is the massive amount of success that she had because she connected so pure and so raw and was so vulnerable with those people and her audience just flooded to her oh my gosh it’s been fast I actually was at church I had was walking the halls and overheard I was actually passing by the bathroom overheard two women talking about Natalie and her product and obviously these two women have had that situation happened in their life it was just it was crazy me or him at church hearing about Natalie Hodson and I thought how important it is as far as being totally vulnerable and how that vulnerability actually connected with people under help you understand she sold over 50,000 copies of her ebook she sold over a million dollars in litter I think less than six months because she was so vulnerable and so that vulnerability was exactly what her audience needed she needed they needed somebody to basically take the torch for them and to lead them and to guide them and to be the person who’s gonna say listen this is a real situation this is something that really happens in life and I want to help and because she was that vulnerable she had that massive amount of success it’s connected so many people with her that now anywhere I go it’s funny I hear people talking about it and the great thing is as you get to know Natalie she’s the most genuine pure person who really hurt it’s not a vulnerability that is out there she’s using to to try to take over a market it’s because she cares she cares so much about others who are going through same situation and I hope you understand that as as I see a lot of people who use vulnerability as a as a power tool to almost take advantage of people that’s not what I’m talking about here this vulnerability is where it’s how you truly feel and you’re using that vulnerability to connect with people and as you’re able to connect with these type of people it then helps it helps you be that much more authentic and the people truly feel that authenticity because they feel that authenticity they’re willing to follow you and they’re they’re really are looking for someone to help them so I didn’t really encourage you guys as you take a look at that to become more vulnerable and to express your feelings in a way that connects more with your audience where you’re able to get those emotional stories out personally it’s in my own life it’s been one of the things I’ve struggled with the most I I don’t like people feeling sorry for me and I don’t like people feeling I never want to feel like I’m a burden yet at the same time what I’ve realized is by my not being more authentic and by my not being more vulnerable I’ve actually pushed people away and it’s something I’m really starting to try to work more on in in the way in which I talked the the words that I use I’m try weird Liberty was driving into the office day talking with my wife and we were having this conversation she goes but how do you feel I’m like ah that feeling word again but I really encourage you guys to be much more vulnerable to go out and to find a way of really sharing and if you don’t mind I’m gonna take my own personal Liberty here and try to share and try to go myself and share this story with you in a way that helps me be more vulnerable but helps you kind of see how you can use this in your own marketing or a way in which you can actually tell a story and so bear with me on this one not understand again I you’ve heard me probably talk about this whole back surgery thing and it got to the point where it was so bad at Christmas time we were we were going to see these Christmas lights and it was through a park it was like a mile long walk through this park and there was tons and tons of lights all over the place and I knew I actually wasn’t gonna be able to walk a mile and I thought and do I just don’t just stay in the car and just let the family go do that and like I don’t want to do that I want to participate and so I ended actually asking my son to push me in a wheelchair and it was the most humiliating painful thing to me not because I was in a wheelchair but because of what had happened to me when I was a little kid and it brought back this flood of emotions and I was I was struggling so much with it that I didn’t want anyone to know and so I didn’t share with them but inside I was I was just sobbing what happened I don’t know if you’ve ever had the experience to where you were the last kid picked did for a team or anything like that well I had that experience multiple times when I was a kid due to an illness that I had at the age of 2 I ended up having contracted encephalitis and hydrocephaly big technobabble bottom line is I had water on my brain and it basically got so bad to the point where at the age of 2 I had to learn to walk and talk all over again and had seizures and had all these crazy things happening and and for the next eight years of my life I was on medication to help overcome it and to really control it but I remember as a kid wanting so bad to to not be the last person picked and it was I was always one of the last people because I didn’t have the coordination I didn’t I wasn’t able to run as fast I was able to walk and as the older I got sports became massively important to me by the time I was in high school I was like I’ve got to get involved in running and I threw myself into those types of things and then even in college as far as playing intramural sports and I picked a degree that actually was in physical therapy and exercise science and things because I never wanted us to experience it’s those types of feelings the crazy thing for me was as I’m being pushed in this wheelchair all of a sudden all of this fear came back of what had happened 40 years ago where I was like what’s gonna happen if I can’t run what’s gonna happen if I can’t walk what’s gonna happen if if I can’t be the dad that I want to be and I had this flood of emotions that took over me and I was trying so hard to contain myself and I was so appreciative to my son Christian for pushing me through the park and yet at the same time I I knew others were experienced the same thing and we got to this one point where I turned the corner and here was a person in a wheelchair and you could tell they I mean it was a custom wheelchair this is a they’ve been in their wheelchair for years and I looked at them and our eyes connected and all of a sudden I felt what they were going through but it wasn’t sadness and it wasn’t frustration and pain it was excitement and how excited they were to be out in this park and they this wheelchair actually wasn’t a symbol of of limitation it was actually a symbol of freedom and this has allowed them to go and experience all of these crazy cool things and they were smiling they’re joking around with the people they were were with and it totally changed my state and I’m like Who am I to be so sad and frustrated because I don’t have what I want right now when other people are in the situation and what I’m looking at is a is something that is limiting to them it’s mobility its freedom its excitement and they were you would not have known if you were listening to this conversation everything else you wouldn’t have known this person was in a wheelchair these they were so excited they were joking around it was Christmastime they’re just spend all this time with their family and their friends and have this great experience and I’m sitting there thinking what the heck is going on and it totally changed my state to where I was like listen no matter what it’s gonna take I’m gonna get the surgery I’m gonna go through this kind of stuff and I’m gonna get back not only to back to the what a quote uncle would be normal for me I’m gonna get in such great shape that I’m gonna go out and help others do the exact same thing and I thought in life how important is to realize that a lot of the things you look at and you feel are things that are holding you back or you’ve had negative experiences in your life that you don’t want other sticks to hear about I looked at this wheelchair as something so negative and yet this other person use this wheelchair as the most exciting positive thing in their life because it created freedom for them and thought it’s important for us in our marketing to make sure that we help that we use the experiences that we’ve had whether it’s trials and negative things because other people have gone through those same types of things they felt what’s your what’s your felt what’s your feeling or you felt what they’re feeling and you found that by doing certain things you were able to overcome and what other people are looking for is they want you to have empathy and your vulnerability helps empathize with what they’re going through and that allows them to connect with you it allows them to realize that that you’re real that you understand and you can relate to them and it’s been such a huge epiphany for me recently to realize that the experiences that we have in our life are actually tools and resources that God gives us to bless the lives of other people and as a marketer if you would use if you’ll become more vulnerable as as natalie has to realize that you’ve got a message that you have to get out and the only way you can get that out to people is by becoming more vulnerable again it’s something I’m working on a ton I wish I had all the answers and I could say this exactly how it’s done I would highly recommend you follow Russell because he’s probably one of the best at it and really using true feeling without it coming across fake and by being truly authentic and I think that’s the key is that your vulnerability has to be authentic you can’t use it just as a tool to make money but if you’re like Natalie and you use it as something where you it’s an experience that you’ve you’ve had that because you’ve gone through that you can now have empathy for those people who are going through it right then and there who are have these feelings and of doubt or feelings of of inadequacy or feelings that they can’t make it and you can now go through that and say you know what I felt exactly what you are feeling right now and because of this this and this what I found is this has worked for not only me but for literally tens or hundreds or thousands of other people and it gives people the ability then to say yes I can go out and I can do that so I encourage you guys to be more vulnerable find a way of connecting more with people again I world and yet still remain profitable this podcast will give you the answers my name is Russell Brunson and welcome to marketing secrets okay so today I want to talk to you about something that I was actually having conversation with John here my office a few minutes ago and it came up he was talking about and John is the guy on our team that runs all of our traffic he’s amazing and he he was a ballroom dancer growing up in high school and in college and right now his kids just started learning how to dance and we were talking about that a little bit and he said it’s probably kind of like you you’re teaching kids how to russell right now and how excited you get watching them and then we start talking about just how hard is it first though like when my kids and also me first started wrestling the very first it’s not fun right because you’re bad and you go out there and you get beat up by a lot of other kids and they don’t in wrestling it’s not nice they beat on you and it’s really bad where and John’s like I’m gonna dance the same thing you go out there and it’s like you’re really bad at first and so looking at ourselves as coaches right because if you listen my recent podcast like as you grow in your company you go from you know entrepreneur to me a coach of coaching your your team right that’s how the progression grows as you try to scale a company so I’m looking a lot like how do we coach how to eat coach you know how do I coach my team better and also how do I coach my kids and wrestling right and it’s interesting because like when somebody first starts the process is not fun right in fact usually sucks at first it doesn’t matter if it’s wrestling or dance or if it’s Facebook ads or if it’s building a funnel whatever there’s like this part at the beginning that sucks we actually get through the initial like pain right you have to get through the pain of like learning and trial and error and like frustration and it’s it’s tough and slaying how do you people pass that initial pain it’s the point where you like you actually have success and you like it and then you desire it I sing back about my wrestling and I think I’m I told a story before but when I was wrestling growing up I started in eighth grade I said I started when I was really young and I guess I hated it so I did it a year when I was like 5 and then my parents said I quit because I hated it and I started getting eighth grade so I didn’t eat grams like it’s kind of fun but I didn’t really like it I’ve just kind of there because my dad was making me and I was getting beat up a lot and I just like huh this kind of sucks and then I started learning in the ninth grade started and I still kind of like you know I was going to practice my dad would come at practice and try to train me so when you beat up as bad and I wasn’t good but like I was kind of like figuring out a little bit and I just remember I had my first wrestle off and arrested this kid who’d been wrestling for two or three years and I beat him which meant I was gonna be JV and I was so scared because like that mean I was gonna be a match who’s gonna be in the middle of the gym and everything so that week the the tournament or the the wrestling match happened I still remember wrestling bright in high school and I go to weigh-ins and in weigh-ins like going to step on the scale and then the guy says let’s go out to me and he’s this guy and he has a mustache now to this day I still can’t grow a mustache and he’s on there and a mustache and I’m like what in the world and I remember going out and going up to the gym and they had the wrestling mats out and getting warmed up and the only people who stands my mom and dad like three other parents that was it and you know everyone’s going out the first matches go out and the second I’m getting so nervous and fine it’s my turn I go out there and I’m in my singlet you know super nervous and awkward and there’s this guy crossing me who’s got a mustache and I was like this guy’s like you know this is the room this is like a big dude and some are shaking his hand we started wrestling and at the end the match i won Eimer getting my hand raised and looking up into the audience and see my mom and dad see my dad jumping around and I was like like from that moment forward I was a wrestler that’s when I got the desire I needed and when I had that desire becomes easy right when you have desire like you he’ll do anything like I wouldn’t eat for you know four or five days out of the week to cut weight to make weight cuz like I love this so much like when desire happens it becomes easy right and so a lot of you guys is the same thing in business like business is like you haven’t like you can’t want to do it and you know there’s kind of that there’s kind of phase in there where it’s like how do I do it do I not do it and like [Music] and and why do we get stuck in that before they ever get the desire would even desire it all becomes easy because now you’re obsessed with it you’re gonna read your study you’re gonna do it whether you’re successful or even care you’re just gonna go go go because you got that desire and so for me it’s like as a coach of you guys and also as a coach of my team and now my kids like how do you create that initial desire fast like you have to get past that initial pain and learning curve so you get to the desire as quick as you can and so that’s my question for you for yourself and for your team’s for everyone just like how do I get past the pain and get to desire desire hits and then it’s fun I was talking about I’d rather have kids with desire than kids with talent because talent doesn’t mean you’re gonna be successful desire does in fact I never thought it was a very good athlete growing up but I didn’t same desire I loved it it’s in the in business I don’t think I was the most charismatic I was nervous I talked to you fast a little bit but I desire I loved it I became obsessed with it and so that’s the key getting past the pain today of desire so for yourself initially look at yourself like you in this pain point if so it’s like how do I create desire how to make it slide and obsessed with this thing like that where it’s fun and I love it I can’t stop thinking about it like that’s we got to get to you because then this becomes easy it’s not work anymore it’s just fun you know my kids I’m I think about how do I get them to have desire and from wrestling it’s like that’s the best way to desires to get a win it’s right now like especially my kids first started they wanted to quit every single day they’ve come up to me literally on the water breaks like hey Dad can we quit now and I’m like dude we’re in the middle practice like we’ll get now I’m like no you cannot quit and it was like and then they go to matches and they just get beat on and it was just like oh and it’s like I have to give them good enough they can win because when you win then you’ll get desire and so I think for you guys that’s a lot of say how do I create that initial win in your business in your life whatever might be couldn’t get that first win you taste it I got my hand raised and I’m looking at this guy with a mustache and I beat him boom that’s when I had the desire that’s when I became a wrestler that’s when you know for you that’s when you became an entrepreneur rest when you became whatever it is for you and so how do you get those quick wins fast you can create desire how’d you get past that initial pain you know a lot of entrepreneurs who come to me initially kind of me like idea for project Russell and giving these projects that are insanely big I mean that sounds amazing if you had ten million dollars in funding that you should run after that but you don’t so let’s pick a smaller thing let’s get a win I think let’s like let’s practice like my first win was a little product called zip Brander right and then how to make potato gun and then form fortunes these little stupid things there were little wins but that little win then creates the desire and then that that desire is what drives you to the big wins so think about that for yourself how do you create those little wins how do you get past the initial pain so they can have a win and get desired when you’re training new people on your team how do you give them the initial wins that you have desire so I’m putting it out there’s a thought I don’t know the answer it’s different every situation but just know that’s your goal it’s the people pass the initial pain of a new thing and so they can create desire and then from there they’ll just they’ll go on their own and it’ll run and it’ll be easy so hope helps you guys appreciate you all have an amazing day if you’re on at one of our round two r2 comma Club roundtable hosts the coolest thing is you’re crushing it on really doing a lot of high ticket stuff but I love one of the things you’ve always talked about is the importance of building business systems instead of just focusing on a short term action type of stuff so I know that kind of ties into the high ticket but I’d like to if you don’t mind tell people a little bit about yourself real quick and then we’ll dive into this high ticket stuff yeah so I’m based in Melbourne and you know I started as a personal trainer 2007 in 2014 I decided to leave the personal training industry stop trading time for money and and start an online business now I struggled for about nine months I was posting on Instagram doing all the content marketing starting blog posts and I didn’t know how to get clients I didn’t know how to get clients consistently and that’s that’s kind of when I developed and fell all over Russell Branson’s first book home secrets which allowed me to learn about marketing and built funnels to attract people now the biggest thing that we do right now from 2014 to 2016 why would I draw a business – I think doing $277,000 in about 18 months inside of the online fitness space it’s highly competitive and we’re selling packages anywhere from 1,500 to $10,000 to work with me 1 2 1 so since then I’ve gone on to help other trainers become experts of their niche and actually build systems to attract people and get people to chase them and get them to be paid what they’re worth but at the same time help trainers develop a coaching and fulfillment system that doesn’t rely on information only and is so relentless to getting their clients results they’re getting their clients to follow through because you all know that we live in a world right now where the information we’re dying in information people weren’t following through the world is you know becoming you know this disease has increased obesity has increased all these problems have increased yet we’ve got more options than ever and you know the coaching model that we came up with was how do you get people to actually follow through how do you actually get people to come in how do you actually get people to actually like transform their lives not not temporarily not lose weight for 4 weeks and then put it all back on but we talked about transforming their identity so that they become somebody new and when you transform somebody’s identity transform their habits so that’s kind of the stuff I’ve been geeking out on over the last two years and dude it’s it’s been amazing to work with the Russell its demeanor amazing the world with Tony Robbins of working with you guys there at clickfunnels it’s it’s all helping to our growth so ultimately you know what I like to say I know it’s cliche but like upgrade humanity yeah just create better human beings create human beings that don’t even so much of a scarcity mindset of I can’t do this I can’t I can’t do that but giving them hope and to actually pursue what it is that will they want to pursue so Len tell me what what type of a funnel are you using when you’re selling this high ticket stuff I mean how you getting people into your funnel what’s the process like are using applications I mean how do you sell that large of a price point can you guys explain to people what did it you’re doing you have core so we use a webinar phone and women are famill is great because you can take it called prospect who doesn’t know anything about you is never seen you before so we market across the world and a webinar funnel is essentially getting somebody on where they forty sixty minutes with you went through that we share a lot of really great information and the most important thing is driving that belief of what they can do and getting them the outcome now on the hour paid application we do paid applications now because we used to do free and there were some two big main issues that we saw with free applications that number one were the people that apply to work with us another one they probably weren’t qualified enough that is they didn’t know what it is that we we did they didn’t want what we had to offer and they were just applying for the sakes of it so naturally we came up with a lot of objections around price number two that the problem with free applications were we’re getting a lot of no-shows and when you offer something you will free people don’t value your time and so what would happen is that have for my coaches just waiting around having appointments booked and they would spend their day just waiting for people and and that I don’t know if you do a lot of sales calls or sales applications but if you spend your day based around somebody else’s schedule that can throw you off a little bit so I decided okay cool we need to fix this because we’re getting a ton of applications but unfortunately the show up rates were miserable okay and then on the cause they were like a hard slow call and you know we always go back to that question how do I make this better I have I get better results and so I thought why don’t why don’t I just literally pitch on the webinar I go hey guys like the simply this if you want to work with us then here’s what you’re going to need to do what we’re gonna get you’re doing is we’re gonna get you to pay a hundred dollars down and the reasons why we want to do this is simply do the fact they’re number one it makes sure that we kick away or the tire kickers but number two it allows our team of coaches to be able to spend more time with your nationally crafted game plan and at the end of the day if you don’t decide to come and join us on our coaching programs or move forward with us then you’ll get that hundred dollars back so we couldn’t care about your hundred dollars what we do care is that you show up to the call you value the corn you value and respect our coaches time that that there they’re leaving aside so that saved us tremendously and what we see on it right now is that you know how webinar converts really really well so on an auto webinar we’re running an auto webinar right now it’s converting approximately about 6 percent which means for every 100 people that register six people actually putting the hundred dollars submit their application and what happens after that is then our closing rate becomes a lot higher I think when I was closing I don’t close anymore but when I was closing it was about eighty eighty two percent and I closed in about seven minutes and it’s really really cool glad we came Anthony I had I had people from in a circle and I had my own clients watch me close and and the process was just seamless because I could take them through a consultative process and we do something called creating like the undeniable truth I they go at the end of the day if you’re gonna move forward with us yeah they do this or you do that and I show them that there’s every area every other decision that moving forward to us leads the pack and if they actually understand that logically and then they must move forward so we create the undeniable truth on the core dude that is just crazy I want you to repeat that cuz I don’t people ever listen this going what he just say so this idea as far as creating undeniable truth so explain to me what that is and so this is a process that I’d gone through because I’ve been doing sales for so long since you know I remember hustling you on cold core since 2014 and I just thought okay what is the problem out there and we look at the marketplace and I assess the problem and I go okay everything out there is a problem your competitors that are a problem the truth is right now people are not getting the results you and I both know that there is more information out there but disease obesity the ability for entrepreneurs to finish and follow through courses and build businesses and a miserable in the amount of attempts that people spend to get started so I go okay if everyone out there is a problem and I’m the only solution then I need to make sure that they see everything else out there is a problem chances are what are they going to do when they leave the core so I go okay well my competitors are a problem simply because they don’t get you to focus on the internal internal stuff like building yourself changing your habits actually building yourself as a leader so again even if you did leave this call right now and chances are what are you gonna do what have you done so I take them through what I like to call the four piece and the first piece is pain you need to really identify the one biggest pain point that they currently have inside their life and you and I both know like the process that I used to go through was that I used to identify many pads and and my conversation became scattered now I just want to hit that biggest pain point and how I do that is I ask them and and you understand you’re out of time you understand what their general pains are but if I had a magic wand which one of these three things would would you want to fix right now as its have more money as they have more time was this had more freedom and so once they tell us what that pain is I can narrow down and I can Zone in on that pain and I can bring out that point that I want to start by I really try to focus in on one thing the problem that I used to have and the problem that I think a lot of people have with sounds is they try to get into the pen and they try to bring up all the pain so don’t get you don’t get to go deep and when you don’t get to go deep you don’t create those there’s there’s problems and it always comes back to an identity problem like that person is experiencing pain that father might be experiencing pain of losing weight okay that might be the pain but underneath that he feels bad because he’s like he’s having an identity problem because he doesn’t want to be that dad that lets Danny say he doesn’t want to be that mediocre dad so the true identity based problem is assertion that paying with the identity that he feels he has once we bring out that identity we go to the possibility yeah this is the next page and inside of the possibility I simply ask him hey if we were to work with each other 12 months from now I think it was a Dan Sullivan question but I I went more specific because I found with this question that people weren’t able to answer it correctly and what I mean by that is if I asked you Dave what your goes for next year that’s too much of a difficult and answer a question for you to answer you’re gonna be like wow I don’t know right and that just throws people off so I go okay Dave if I’m gonna work with you and you’re not gonna sit down and you’re gonna give me the best the most raving testimonial ever are you gonna say oh my god Lin transform my life and just like the testimonials you see on social media and Facebook what needs to happen inside of your business inside of your life and let’s start with money because how much money do you need to make in order for you to be a raving fan so that the like the really specific questions allow them to visualize the scenario and then it allows them to answer the question because I found a lot of the times inside of silos you’d ask a question and and you would get resistance because they wouldn’t know and most people don’t know what they want so you needed by them you need to allow them that scenario dude I can I can do that seriously I love this idea as far as as that see that you could I mean when you’re going to that possibility you’re not only you’re seeking a testimony before you in the future and you’re taking off of them and putting it on you and then back to them so I think that’s a super cool thing so yeah I thought I might keep going this I love this it’s a pretty supposition to say you’re gonna give me a testimony we’re gonna work together it’s gonna be amazing though what needs to happen inside of your money what is happening with your time and then what we do with that is we we show them the identity of who they can become okay so all this is identity based the pain leads to them showing the biggest pain that allows them to associate with the identity of who they currently are and once they’ve realized through that Chaeronea they don’t want to be there because every single person inside of them has an inkling to be great and they’re dissatisfied that’s why they’re on the call with you then the possibly you need to identify with them okay what’s that Alaskan it look like you do they become and once you’ve got point A to point C I simply go okay well inside of a car right now if I want to go to Boise and I’m in Melbourne and I pulled up two points inside a navigation route how are we gonna get better and I ask them the question how are you going to get there right now and this is what I like to call the next pay the problem and I need to show them the problem the problem is that they don’t know the problem is whatever they’ve tried in the past hasn’t worked so chances are a lot of the times I’ll go well I’ll just do is the thing that I did in the past no I do chances are you did it but there’s a reason why here because it didn’t work can they like want to stick for longer and I’m like that’s the problem you couldn’t stay to it you can stick to the plan you couldn’t stick to the diet and therefore it didn’t work and so I showed them this and I go okay well here’s a problem well here’s the problem all I’m gonna try this and so if you walk through them logically that they don’t know the answer but you’ve essentially done if you created nor three roads and in order for them to move from point A to point B you essentially say to them and guys if you sell and if you sell this way you have a moral obligation to absolutely be the best inside of your field like this is some really really hard really really good and hard selling here but inside of the space so I believe that if you innovate you know that you’re the best then you have a moral obligation to help them and what I’m going to take you through is really really cool because by the end of the call you now actually coach a client to break through and you actually indoctrinate them and you get them excited and now they’re ready to be coached okay but if you don’t take them through this process and if you don’t actually show them that any other pathway it’s the pain they’re not going to be open to listening to what you have to just say and if you don’t get them to that point then they’re not going to follow through so the whole coaching process begins even before the coaching starts it begins with my selves called the sales call in itself is a breaks record okay so that is so killer dude it’s it’s cool and and the way like I can talk about this because the way we do the webinar and the way we get people to apply saves a lot of time which means you know you can go into the sales conversation and coach somebody through this process the 4pd process the time the possibility the problem and then you can go through your path and you and the path simply goes like this a lot of people when they try to sell this stuff they try to sell features and the problem with so many features is guess what Dave when you sign up today here’s what you’re going to get you’re gonna get a Facebook group you’re gonna get a membership side and what happens with that even though you think it’s amazing what with that is now you create uncertainty inside of your prospects mind so Dave if I’m trying to sell you I go do it the first thing that we’re going to do is we’re going to install you with lead generation systems okay so that you can get up these you can get 10 leads a week that’s it okay you want to sell the outcome the benefit so that you can have when you’re selling the path you don’t sell the membership site because Dave if I sell your membership site what do I create I create uncertainty inside of your mind you go well what’s in the membership site what what membership site would I get what’s in it specifically and what happens when you create uncertainty is you create distrust and when somebody a person is only gonna buy from you especially at a high ticket level when they feel completely certain that you have the roadmap and you have the certainty to get them there so when I saw the path I go okay well here’s step number one Dave when you come on and work with us wait I know I know where you want to go I know you’re at a point I and I know you want to get to point B now we’ve done this countless times before you can check out all these results on this page and we show them the results and we go Dave in order for you to get there here’s our proposed plan okay step number one we’re gonna need to get your lead generation system first okay to get your 10 leads now what do you think you could do with 10 minutes chances are would your would your sales increase well of course it would even if you didn’t know how to sell which chances are anybody would know that 10 leads in their business sells and the second thing I talk about is well we’re going to teach you how to convert these leads and then build a system so that you’re not there it’s the same stuff that I’m currently doing that I’m we’re making sales and I don’t have to be there okay and then step number three Dave I’m going to show you once you start getting a hundred new clients in do you know how to coach a hundred clients at scale and you’re like Len a turn and I’m like awesome we’re gonna build a system around that as well first you’re gonna build the system and then the second step to that is taking you out of the system so that you still get clients results without you spending so much time sorry I’m gonna pause it no no the PCI I just want to give me my credit card I just don’t know I mean Dave I I get really excited about this process simply because number one you need to be really good at is that you do and so many people can’t sell it comes down to is they don’t believe in their product they don’t believe that they’re the best they don’t believe that they the best in the market they don’t innovate they don’t continue to learn they don’t double down but when you do you own all the power I can say this to your face and I mean it and I go look Dave by the end of this by the end of these three steps you’re gonna have the result and I expect to just get you back on a testimonial in six months time and we’re going to chat together does that sound good we walk through these four steps and and he creates like the undeniable truth that if they don’t join every other path leads the time and that’s what I mean by this process because it’s such a it’s such a breakthrough moment for them they realize that they need to move forward they realize that what they’ve been doing they haven’t doubled down and you and I both know that more skin may invest in the game the money is great we talk about high ticket and we go a lot of the time sorry for swearing but a lot of the times we invest high ticket so that we can invest in the experience of them we invest they invest in high ticket so that they invest inside of the skin inside of the game so a lot of the times how is set up coaching is we dedicate coaches directly to them we have been that we now have the resources to be able to deliver and fulfill and innovate and a lot of people that don’t so high clear end up selling a mediocre and giving a mediocre service and guess what you’re adding to the problem because if you hand them a mediocre service you can’t give in that detail because you’re not bringing enough revenue inside your business and you live inside of a scarcity mindset your ability to deliver and fulfill and give them my great experience drops drastically and inside of that drop you drop their results and because they invest less money and less skin inside of the game they don’t get the results so how’d you get selling to me is them getting skin in the game and you and I both know this saying like diamonds are created under intense pressure so at the end of the day I ask them and they go do do you have a blanket this is these are objections that we can go through every single day dude yeah but I and plan and like of course we do but here’s what you’re doing when you get onto a payment land dude I’m about to turn you into a diamond and why would you what and you know that diamonds form from impress in intense pressure from rocks right like rocks go through intense amount of pressure in order to become a diamond do you want to become a diamond yes I do that then do why would you remove the pressure from yourself well how’d you do that and you ask them logically to tackle that objection and you of course we do so do you still want the payment plan and they have to think about it do you know what I mean like when do you own what it is that you do you go in there with such certainty and you go in there with such belief because I believe truly it is we’re seeing the results people that pay upfront and get better results people that pay through a payment plan guess what they’re thinking of the way up they’re thinking this month won’t if nothing happens then I can leave that’s the thought process I do are you committed to your results I am Lynn and I’m like I’m sure you are so there’s so many people say that but the next thing is gonna require commitment okay and so we walk them through this process and I walk them through logically and what he texts actually achieve success you and I both know that if somebody invests you know ten dollars in something they’re not going to value it as much as they invests the same thing at $10,000 it could be the same information thereby in their ability to see value and their ability to extract value from the same information difference so this is so cool I had this conversation with Kelsey on our team the other day regarding we have a large event coming up we were talking about payment plans I’m like I just hate payment plans and she’s like well Dave I can tell you we’ve gone through and because it’s a high ticket price point that we’re gonna be selling at you know $3,000 at a live event and I said I just hate payment plan she goes I can tell you Dave right now every time we do payment plans they always they either they cancel the first payment because they quit they give up on themselves or they basically find some way of pointing the finger blame at somebody because it’s not their fault and so I’m not kidding it’s the craziest thing I hear you saying that I’m going I lose tennis and because of that we are not gonna offer a payment plan because I wouldn’t want those people who are totally serious we committed because I want I want them having the results so I get the testimonials absolutely and that’s how every business should run if your business is not running in such a way where you’re getting the results to get the testimonials your business won’t grow you know business that it’s called foundation do the business so good that you’re getting testimonies and then apply all the marketing strategies to it and I see a lot of this stuff inside of the internet marketing space and you know inside of the online space people are so heavy driven by marketing in sales that they forget about fulfillment and then they begin looking at tactics to get people in what payment plan to a stop I do I do a free trial and they’re so driven by getting people in but not actually running the actual core foundation of the business which is to drive the testimonials create the desire and that’s how you increase your prices you don’t increase your prices by simply marketing better you increase your prices by giving people better results geez I I’m literally living this daily right now because we’re does that you’re talking it’s about actually inner circle and increasing the prices inner circle because that exact same thing and it’s like people that pay up front chances are if they’re in the seven nine figures
