our pre-show here so if you guys are gonna love this let me introduce you guys wanted to my dear friends Chris Brewer please welcome to the show hey thanks des it’s awesome to talk to you again and connect with your awesome funnel hacking audience this is so much fun for me because Chris and I’ve known each other for gosh a long long time I mean I’ve it’s been at least five seven ten years I don’t know how long it’s been but it’s been so fun we’ve known each other and as well as his business partner Brett curry but Russell and he have done business years ago and I think the fun part is I mean if we see each other at events we’ve been talking about getting on the show your schedules crazy cuz you work with agencies and clients and met your daughter actually have your daughter on our show but I’m super super excited to have you here so again Chris welcome so much thank you very much and see that’s one of those things as you get older your kids start pre-empting you so like she got topped bill thing it’s kind of follow behind I’ll pick up the leftover that’s how it’s gonna end up I think well the part I’m most excited about is just seeing the evolution of your business we were talking just briefly here about I mean so for those you guys don’t know Chris and Brett and their agency these guys have been this is like traditional old school ad agency that’s gone totally new age and based on all the direct response marketing experience they have these guys are just crushing it with their for their clients and now used to be I believe here as we were talking earlier Chris you were kind of focus more on traffic and conversion agency and now you’ve renamed that tagline to a full funnel agencies that right yeah it’s we’ve we’ve gone on a come a long long way and it is kind of funny you talking about kind of that traditional agency because how we really got into this business I’m we owe Russell a big credit for that because we were at one of those old bill glazier Dan Kennedy events that Russell was speaking at and Brett and Russell connected and Russell saw that we had our own local kind of traditional agency and we had a little mastermind and Brett essentially became the poster child of a launch that we did and dealt with thousands of people and helping them start their own agencies and we did that for about five years and then click funnels came along and Russell went his way and it’s just boomed and we went our way and we’ve just boomed and so it’s been a whole lot of fun and yeah we we had the tagline a traffic and conversion agency and I’ll say we had that tagline Dave before it was an event we didn’t have to like forcefully change our tagline or anything so we decided to change it to a full funnel agency and and not having anything to do really with like building funnels necessarily but more of the mindset and approach that we want our clients to have when they’re trying to drive traffic and and make sales click funnels is is just a tool I think you and Russell would agree with that it’s it’s a tool and if you don’t utilize it in the right way and you don’t decide what your strategy is going to be then you’re gonna have kind of results that you’ve seen that that others have seen where it’s it’s ready fire aim brand ready fire aim usually results in oh I tried those that guys or I tried this agency it was terrible or you know we did this direct mailing and it was a complete bomb because he didn’t have the whole approach figured out so that’s what we’re doing now is taking that full funnel approach and here’s what that means Dave it means we’re not gonna just let a client or a business rely on one traffic strategy do you remember Dave back in the day when Russell had his little traffic strategies and I think he had this like silver USB black case and it was packed with all these incredible and those were great and creative but what I know is a lot of your listeners right now you tell me if I’m wrong but a lot of your listeners are making money off of one traffic source oh my gosh we literally had this conversation well so I did just the other day and we were actually talking about how many companies and businesses literally are at the mercy of Zuckerberg yeah it whether it’s Zuckerberg or its Bezos yeah or it’s you know who owns Google these days I’m Larry Page it still involves a degree but you know whether if you just put all of your stakes in one area you’re at the you’re at the mercy and I and we saw this with Amazon a couple of years ago in Amazon still dealing with some of this churn where everybody got on board and sell your products on Amazon and then all it took was a few competitors to leave bad reviews on your product and the algorithm would tank you and you’re out of business if you don’t have other strategies that’s one of the things a lot of most business owners don’t understand is the importance really of having you know everyone always talks about diversifying your income but the most important thing here is diversifying your traffic source yes a hundred percent now that that doesn’t mean that we want to take somebody away from an area that is bringing them in solid reliable revenue but it’s been very fascinating this year as we’ve exhibited at the traffic and conversion summit as we exhibited it irce the Internet Retailer conference and Expo in Chicago we exhibited at content and commerce what happened this year different from other years is people are finally getting this that I’m doing okay over here but I don’t want to have all my eggs in one basket and they understand their audiences really well on Facebook but they have no idea what Google is all about and and even worse many of them have never even looked at something that these days a lot of people just think doesn’t work anymore but there’s still incredible opportunity on SEO which can be a traffic source so that you know you’d be a may it’s amazing at times I get on calls with people that contact us and I’ll do a little bit of SEO research before the call and I’ll say to them let me guess your woman’s sheepskin jacket is your number one seller and they go how did you know that and I’ll go well you ranked number two on Google for it and it gets 65 points a month and they’ll say oh I had no idea so whether it’s SEO or it’s it’s YouTube ads it’s it’s true of you it’s shoppable true of you it’s it’s remarketing building your remarketing lists for search ads all this stuff that maybe your listeners are like holy cow what did he just say what’s all that and what do I need to know about it it’s really taking it a little bit slower and looking at how can I look at my full funnel how can I go from a place like Facebook where in many cases Dave it’s an impulse buy and it’s an all spy because of ClickFunnels™ in many cases the ability to position a product in an excellent way and guide the person through the purchase because on facebook if they see I don’t know Dave named me named me a funny product or a product that that maybe one of your people that you work with uses give me a product we’re just looking at a it’s a fat loss jellybeans oh my gosh that’s perfect so you’re on Facebook and you’re scrolling through and and and let’s say that that you’re like me you’re like you’re like me a year ago which I’m not like this today but you’ve gained like 20 pounds and you’re you’re sitting in this agency world of at the desk every single day and you can’t even walk 18 holes anymore and so you’re scrolling down and you’re looking at diet shakes and you’re looking at videos and all of a sudden fat the fat loss jellybeans are you kidding me I can eat candy and lose weight click I land on this incredible funnel with full-color and showing a video there with some guy talked about he he ate six jelly beans a day and lost 20 pounds how much is it I don’t care let me buy it it’s an it’s an impulse buy but carry that over to Google and now we’re in a whole nother universe because suddenly people are now searching they’re typing in weight loss ideas diets for losing 20 pounds how do I lose 20 pounds before a wedding you know all of these different searches and then they get presented with all kinds of results and they may see the jelly bean they may see the old South Beach Diet maybe they see another kind of diet there so they start researching and then they’re comparing prices they’re looking at reviews it’s a whole nother cycle which is brings us back to that full funnel that if you’ve got a good YouTube channel with some content about your fat loss jelly bean and what people have to say about it doesn’t mean that they’re gonna purchase it right away but if we get them to spend enough time on our YouTube video then we can put them into a YouTube remarketing audience where we can then show them other content that’s gonna take them deeper into our funnel we can present them with search ads that are going to maybe bring them a little bit further down our our funnel and and we can look at other sources like Google Shopping is is is their competition on Google Shopping which used to be called PLA s product listing ads so all of those depending on the budget you know how large your budget is we’ll determine how big our top of our funnel will be but essentially it’s like old-school branding which Brett and I both used to be kind of anti branding when it came to small businesses cuz you didn’t have Nike money right well guess what the Internet makes it possible to not have Nike level branding opportunity but to get pretty darn close within your niche pretty darn close within your market to be able to be everywhere and move people down that purchasing cycle that’s why Dave Google has been hammering us we’re a a Google premier partner which just means we’re in the top 3% of all the agencies that Google works with and they’ve been saying Chris Brett take take your clients off of last click attribution so on Facebook the last click attribution would be they saw the Facebook ad they went to the funnel they clicked purchase that’s where the traffic came from and what Google’s wanting us to do is to change that around from last click to more of what we call a time decay model which means they could have watched your YouTube video they could have clicked on the Facebook ad hit that funnel you could have pixeled them but then they didn’t buy they came back in through a Google search ad and then bought through another channel and then Google we can show our customers on the back end how we can allocate those various forms of traffic that all fall into the things that that that are making their sales so I’ll just take a breath there because I know that’s a lot to take in but that in a nutshell is kind of that having that strategy in that that mindset Chris that’s crazy that’s I mean that’s totally totally cool stuff yeah we think it we think it’s pretty cool that we think I think again so so many times people think just you know Facebook facebook facebook or you know I’m all-in on Amazon or Shopify or whatever they might be but think it’s just amazing to see how by really later excuse me layering different types of traffic you actually can really overcome a ton of the problems most people face whenever there comes to driving traffic to their site is yeah being able to get people wherever they are whether it is on YouTube it might be on Facebook it might be on Google but being there in a way that actually makes sense to the customer where you they just fall into your lap I think it’s fantastic a hundred percent and let me give your listeners maybe a little little fun test they could do just to me cuz maybe somebody’s out there today and saying hey look I’m I’m doing forty fifty sales a day I’m killing it on Facebook I don’t have the time to go into other channels hey that’s okay but at least maybe you want to start preparing and at least see what it would look like so if you take a look at like here’s here’s an idea and this and this is something that we’ve been experimenting with and I can tell you it’s showing real promise is take your click funnel and make sure you’ve got your Google Analytics installed on your click funnel which most people know that’s a pretty easy thing to do make sure you’ve got a privacy policy in terms of service on the click funnel that talked about how you’re going to use cookies and things like that so you’re compliant with Google’s remarketing policies make sure you have demographics and interest retargeting on our interest category set up on your Google Analytics and these are all things if your listeners are curious about it they can contact me we’ll give that information at the end it’s pretty basic stuff once you know where to go and do it but just set up those those things then you can run traffic from Facebook so let’s take the fat loss jellybeans we’re going to all have to be careful in talking about my audience targeting here Dave but let’s just say it’s it’s that and so let’s say that we’re gonna I won’t pick on women so let’s say we’re gonna target 55 year old guys who drink a lot of beer right and and like to go fishing and they’re NASCAR guys so that’s gonna be our our Facebook audience well we know that in facebook very straightforward how to pull that audience together or maybe we’ve uploaded a list and done a similar audience but we really don’t know what Google says about those folks so here’s what you do you set up this separate funnel that has your analytics tracking on it you run your Facebook traffic to that funnel then after enough time and you get enough data then you go into your Google Analytics and you look at what does Google say about the demographics of that Facebook audience what does Google say are the interest categories that those men are interested in and and then what also are they in the market searching for so those are all three things the end market targeting if you’re not familiar with it it’s actual the last two weeks of things that people have been searching for and you can get killer results if you if you really tuned that in but one of the things is just content so so if you find that Google tells you that out of these 55 year old sports enthusiasts beer drink and NASCAR guys that they love country music let’s say and travel those are two things that they’re interested in well if we don’t have content on our Facebook page about guess what country music and travel we’re we’re missing out on an engagement opportunity I want you to touch on engagement opportunities because I think that’s one things people just glance over and don’t realize the importance of that so define a little more what you might engagement objects I think it’s one of these you guys do amazingly well well it’s it’s taking a step back from the winds that we get every day when we’re selling products using a funnel for instance and when we when we have maybe some easy wins or we we have a really great funnel that we put together that if we if we miss the step of how are we going to really build our brand then you’re going to end up in being a lot shorter cycle business or product than you would like to be because people want to buy from brands they want to buy from things that they’re comfortable with and things that they’ve heard of and so yes you can get the impulse buy but if you’re just sending people Tennessee volunteer fans to a click funnel page that’s selling the Tennessee Volunteers Monopoly game guess what you’re gonna make a lot of sales initially but if you want to go back next year and sell those same audiences that game forget about it but if you’ve engaged with those Tennessee volunteer fans at their level on the things that they enjoy and they’d like to read about and that you’re segmenting those audiences appropriately guess what just about any other product that you come out with that suits the interests of that audience they’re gonna share they’re gonna tell their friends about it they’re gonna purchase it and and that’s where to if you missed a whole branding and engagement side of it you’re gonna have a lot tougher climb when you get to Google because the nice thing is when we take people off of Facebook that have solid brand awareness and solid search volume about their products or the things that they’re talking about it’s pretty easy to do branded campaigns on Google where you have low cost per click and you can get some some easy quick wins there so it’s really that’s where we turn down clients if they come to us and they don’t have their funnel figured out and they really don’t have much engagement with their audience you can have a great product but if we don’t have the following you’ve got some work to do before you’re really ready to jump in and run 5 10 15 20 30 thousand dollar-a-month campaigns I love that I think it’s so critical I get this connected you got kind of offline we’re talking about the this whole one-trick pony type of funnel mm-hmm and I think it’s part that’s why the engagement is so critical better you engage with your customers and your and those people who are just even interested in what you’ve got the better it is for you when you come back to remarket and retargeting and other things because they’ve already established that relationship that’s where that rapport comes from and I just again you guys do such a great job with your clients it’s just been fun to watch well I mean we see it all the time and we had this guy it was a client I won’t i won’t say their name because he he is a super nice guy and he had Facebook audiences that were just killing it for him great margins but he he didn’t have like a product that was that unique I mean you could Google this product and you could find it cheaper on other sites he had just found some audiences on Facebook and he ran he basically ran through those audiences and he did extremely well and that’s one of the scary things about audiences this way is he was up to a $30,000 spend per month and was just making all kinds of Bank and then all of a sudden those CPAs went through the roof sales went way down and he thought it was a Facebook algorithm change but really what happened was people realized one the product wasn’t that great – I can find at other places and three you haven’t connected with me through email Instagram Facebook blogs videos on YouTube – tell me who you are I was just interested in this cool zoom camera lens that would fit onto my mobile phone but I don’t have any loyalty to you because you haven’t inspired me or told me anything about your story or how you were a struggling college student that decided one day that you wanted to get a store on Amazon and how you succeeded and now you want to bring these cool innovative products to the market that’s somebody I want to come back and buy – but if it’s if it’s just something I can google and find somewhere else and you don’t have a story behind it I mean that’s what Russell’s been so great about I mean I mean gosh how many years is he Road the potato gun humor yeah you get a good story you can ride it for a long time no I think that’s all it takes is one good story as you just show it basically by the other thing it’s is people especially these taste it kind of goes back to your thing you’re talking about far as branding you know years ago all of us who are in the direct response marketing game just poo-pooed the whole concept as far as branding you know the Nike story you were talking about but these days just because people want to buy from people they need to know like and trust it’s you are your brand or how you portray your image and everything else I think it’s so critical these days that as you’re engaging with people that they again they know like and trust you that’s the whole name of the game so I think it’s pretty cool I you guys have done that and the question to ask your buyers is how do they use my product how does it benefit or improve their lives and if you can answer just those questions then you have the keys to how you can go back and extract that information from your customers and allow them to be your brand builders one great example of that is a client we have called friendship collar and if you if you want to really add to your emotional bank account with your significant other go to friendship collar check out these products there it’s really cool it’s not just a dog or a cat collar it’s matching collars so like Dave you’d have a bracelet that’s like black and gold with little diamonds on it and your boxer has a black and gold collar with diamonds on it and so these guys did something really smart they asked the people who are buying their product to post pictures on Instagram of them with their pet who doesn’t want to take a picture with them in their pet and so they got flooded on Instagram with people here’s the thing you see the picture this is hilarious yeah I mean it’s what and what a great idea but but here’s the problem if they didn’t take that step where we’re branching them out onto Google right now but if they hadn’t taken that step on Instagram you know how hard it would be to get people to get oh yeah it’s it’s like a custom dog collar and it’s you know you it’s matched and so your cat has one and you have one well that’s really hard because what people are gonna search for on Google is dog collar cat collar you know there’s gonna be very little search for custom dog collar and so now you know we’re able to take their their interest and the audience that they’ve built and we think they’re you know they’re gonna have a pretty good shot on on Google in a lot of different ways so that’s just a couple of questions you can ask and and then ask those questions and then produce content that you can easily produce and get your audience to share for you I love it well into the show there’s two things we were talking about I want to dive into this is some of the things you’re already doing with existing clients and funnels and one of this is the whole gift card sale do you mind explaining what that is and and why it’s just crushing it yeah this is just one particular client I’m not gonna share the name or the category because really quite frankly their competitors could jump on this and I wouldn’t want them to but this is a company that every year has a gift card sale you’ll right before the holidays and they’ve got a pretty substantial size email list it’s over a half a million and that right there is enough for anybody who does business with other companies or has a large email list that they’re not utilizing like this to really pay attention so they had this existing email list that they’d only used for email and they had used Facebook ads in the past and they had always done really well well this client hired me to come in and consult on this particular project and of course I got them to join up with ClickFunnels™ I introduced them to how this could be a complete game changer for them and so they built their whole gift card sale through ClickFunnels™ and I made sure and this was just funny because I know about the power of upsells but Russell had some piece oh you know what it was your video launch it was the video launch and Russell was talking about the one thing that just by adding the people that added the upsell just always did so much better than everybody else so I made sure I said you guys got to have an upsell and so $100 was their biggest discount where people get 50% off the gift card if they spend a hundred bucks in the past hardly anybody would spend $100 they’d all buy at the 25 or $50 level but we put an upsell in to allow them to get to the hundred dollar level and they did a quarter of a million dollars in sales in one week which was a 71 percent increase over last year’s sales is crazy I mean I look it’s these little tiny things so this little one-time up sale gets a 71 percent lift I mean that’s just huge right so what I help my client learn on this is just because you have this large email list that you’ve just always used to to email doesn’t mean you can’t radically shift how you’ve connected with them and so they’re radical shift was introducing a funnel into an annual sale that they’ve always done one way and of course we uploaded that entire email list to Facebook and to Google which most there’s still people that don’t know you can do that and do custom audiences in Google which helped us just make sure we were in front of that audience over that short one-week period and that’s that’s very solid information for people to really think about because I had another client just real quickly it’s kind of a fun one and I’ll give people a chance to hear these guys music for free if they want to but Branson Missouri got all these shows and entertainers and there’s there’s one show called the hey goods and it’s like this family of six or seven brothers and once and they can play all these instruments and they they’re just incredible entertainers well they wanted to chart their own course without signing with a record label and they wanted to grow their audiences outside of just that Branson Missouri show and over the years they had collected nearly a million pieces of data email addresses names and addresses which you can put into Facebook we took all that data we use Chris Lang who I know you guys work with to to scrub that list down and clean it up and we ended up sending that out well we got through the click funnel as well our offer was to download their album for free and get it on iTunes and Shopify so guess what they’ve seen bigger numbers on iTunes and they’ve ever had bigger numbers on Spotify they got 5,000 new email opt-ins in a three-week period and ended up inviting our whole company town to see their Christmas show which was pretty cool and their whole idea was they wanted to be able to mind their data and find out do we have fans in st. Louis and Dallas and other places that we can give our album to for free build that data and then run ads in a st. Louis Market when we want to go and do a one-night concert and sell out and make a lot of money and come home well we just launched their st. [Music] today is Thanksgiving and we’re gonna have a huge party in our house from the new field [Music] we have been working for a while leaking information out to you guys about some features that are gonna increase conversions and make you more money right it’s a party’s about you know what is it today see happy thanksgiving when the blow to the huge bubbles yeah each about gems they’re loud Ayden went and we bought a couple of balls they’ve all did you get it yep we got a lot of balls and frisbees and everything for the party and then you ready we got a bunch of bubble soccer so you got the volleyball court the trampoline pit the track get the soccer / football flash bubble soccer field over there basketball happen here move the ball over the party’s officially started a finish you game has officially begun [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] what’s up everybody Todd here coming at you from Atlanta I’m going to start filming the first episode of funnel hacker TV Atlanta I just got a bunch of the video equipment here from Russell and the guys in Boise and just trying to unbox it and figure it all out we got a DJI Mavic got a bunch of chargers and video stuff we got some car mounts and other video stuff so anyway I’m gonna try to get all this stuff hooked up and I’m gonna jump in the car and head to the office here in Canton Georgia dueling they have seconds later alright everybody so I’m just recapping in my head over on boxer with all the guys trying to figure out what has to happen in the next two days we got a short week this week it’s Thanksgiving week and I’m just trying to get home and go to family events and holidays and all this fun stuff so we have to funnel years to accomplish a lot of stuff we got the new auto webinar homepage we’re gonna be trying to get live and that has produced the highest opt-in rate we have ever seen on any opt-in page we’ve ever done so why not put it where we get the most traffic right if it’s ruining the highest ROI of and or things and we put it on the homepage we’re getting all the free traffic so we’re gonna try there if we’re gonna see what happens and hopefully it’s miss amazing results and create insane EPCs for our affiliates we also have Android pay and Apple pay that are in the final testing phases internally with our own stuff so we’re gonna be actually rolling that out to the first private beta testers public beta testers I guess you can call it probably the inner circle people and some of the certified partners and all that good stuff so we rolling that out in the very near future in the next day or two we’ll have it actually for those guys to start testing and then for everyone else to get access to shortly after that we also have something you may have seen us do on one of our pages as we kind of stealth roll out haven’t really talked about it at all that I’m aware of but Facebook opt in we’re actually gonna be enabling that as an option for people so you can put it on your landing page and let people opt in with Facebook by clicking a button instead of actually typing in their email address which this ties in to getting all their facebook data and you have access to so we’re gonna be doing both those and also I just saw the new affiliate bootcamp which isn’t so insane it’s so exciting that it’s yeah I don’t know if how much I can talk about that right now but there’s some awesome graphics that the guys support on Jake’s been working really hard on and yeah it’s gonna be and say it’s gonna be this amazing way for everyone to get affiliate training the top-notch quality stuff super easy and without having to sign up and pay for anything really so I’ll just leave it at that for now and I’m gonna keep going and try and knock out all these things in the next two days so yes one should solder a late this is our current all’s here in Georgia take you on a little trip here time to talk rustling to buy in that building across the street there for some reason he says it’s too big but it’s got a really nice auditory a minute that he can come speak at snow that could be kind of cool all right I’m gonna get to work one bun no Nathan I just got some exciting news and today just got a whole lot more exciting because of it so we have been working for a while leaking information out to you guys about some new features that are gonna increase conversions and make you more money basically and one of them just went live and I just put it live on the funnel hacking live page for the event I’m gonna turn around here shows off that right there would be Android pay which pops up if you’re using Chrome browser or Android devices and gives you the option to one-click pay so here you can come in here and you can click this button and it’ll pop up which I don’t want to pull up my personal details right now but you click these button and it will pop up the details there and let you click one button to pay so you want to fill out any of this actual information on the contact form and then same thing works on Safari so here we have one with some fake information there but click Apple pay pops up here and if you’re using one of the new fancy MacBooks get this little button here it says touch ID to pay click funnels put your fingerprint there and you’re done click Apple pay finger down done no extra steps and the exact thing works on the phone same process you click Apple pay pops up fingerprint done you’re paid super simple process now for mobile conversions and we’re testing it right now on split testing it live so we’re gonna see what kind of results we get and we’ll keep you guys updated but should be amazing [Music] [Music] what’s up everybody Thanksgiving break is over and heading back to the office for the first day and it’s already crazy its Cyber Monday and everyone is apparently sending out their stuff at the exact same time which we knew that would happen so I just got done talking to Ryan and they’re basically at the office now finding things off and making sure everyone’s emails and messages and everything are going out as fast as humanly possible so that’s gonna be fun today making sure everybody’s stuffs going crazy because today is gonna be a massive day for everyone’s traffic and everybody knows everyone’s everything that’s going on so that’s gonna be fun and I also just talking to Russell I had kind of an epiphany breakthrough on one of the cool features we’re working on right now and I think effectively I think it’s gonna be awesome I think what sure we’re gonna end up being able to produce is just like our order form bumps which if you’re using an order form bump like kind of across the board an average ticket averages like 25-30 percent you’re gonna see increases in sales and I think we’re gonna introduce opt in for bumps and I just I may just leave it at that for right now and you’ll just have to wait and see what that actually is but I think it’s pretty awesome and I just sent over Russell the details of it and we’re gonna see what he thinks about that oh hey crypto currencies what what’s going on with that right now we’re about to hit 10,000 dollars I might say I told you so I definitely was telling Russell back a few months ago I expected 10,000 by the end of the year and I’m not sure if I actually believed it would happen I kind of expected it to but I definitely wasn’t positive and didn’t necessarily believe it and it is happening it did happen so anyway that’s crazy that’s amazing and I think we’re still just getting started there which Thanksgivings over those who are watching the video these are the lights we have wrapped around our house lighting up for the Christmas holiday which is kind of fun so I’m just gonna walk around here she hasn’t seen my face get enough light to connect on camera but folks are listening in hope you guys had an amazing holiday Thanksgiving getting ready for at the end of the year um end the year is always fun time for us marketers and entrepreneurs because it’s the focusing and planning for the beginning of next year which is coming soon right so it’s kind of fun we got not this week the next week Todd and Ryan and everyone’s fine here to Boise and we’re gonna be doing a big partner meeting and planning out the rest of this year in world domination for next year sort of big hags or big hairy audacious goals and figure what we’re gonna do and then how to reverse engineer not to make it possible is kind of fun I was I was watching last year podcast at Alaska that basically said these were our goals and so here’s the five Hail Mary passes we’re gonna do to try to hit those goals okay if you have a list that podcast rewind about a year ago and listen to it and that’s what it’s gonna be the goal of this meeting is when I said our big goal we’re trying to do and then I’m not gonna like one execution plan but here’s four or five things when try to get that goal and if one or two of them hit they will hit these crazy big goals and so that’s what we’re doing not this week but next week so I’m sure I will be doing podcast from there talking about it but I’m excited for that if you haven’t done that yet make sure this year before than the year you spend some time and block it out with your your team and and do that and figure out again what’s the big goal and the reverse engineer what you got to do to make that happen and then from there you know figure out three or four different big Hail Mary passes that you gotta throw to get your big goal so that’s kind of we’re gonna be doing I’m excited for it and it’s been fun so what I want to share with you guys tonight real quick before I head back in it’s a really beautiful night it’s not too cold and it’s just kind of nice for a walk around the yard so what I’ve been working on on my side and I talked about a little bit after the inner circle meetings is one of the big my big aha is it’s kind of funny how you go through cycles right like we know things we forget them and you really realize them but the doc up stickers book will talk a lot about value ladder right and it’s funny because ever since we launched expert seekers haven’t talked about as much about that cuz extra seekers all about figuring out like the first part like – who in the world like the one in the house he’s Mike like what are you selling and how are you selling it so it’s like you figure out how to create your offer how to position yourself and create your mass movement and figure out what you believe in what you don’t believe in it what’s your future based cause and who are your people and like all those kind of things right and then you create a message a presentation to get people to follow you to sell your products and that process takes a little while right you got a reader your presentation four or five or six times so you get it perfect and then you’re driving traffic and then you keep doing that and eventually if you do it enough times if you follow the process you do a webinar live every single week for a while and you keep tweaking and changing base what we talked about in the in the book eventually hit it and you know you hit it because you go from zero two million dollars fast right it asked me figured out the what and the how what is this you’re actually selling and how do you sell it right so that she had that figured out now the next phase is really shifting back to dot-com secret stuff right so now you got customers coming in and this is where entrepreneurs start freaking out right because then they start talking value I need up cells and down so some and back ends and front ends and and they start going crazy and and what I wanted to talk about is just kind of the big AHA had from inner circle meetings I’m watching the people that are crushing it and the ones who are struggling and the consistency amongst the people in inner circular killing it is that most one came in they had one thing figured out and they got that working now it’s about time to join their circle right and because people need be making about a million bucks a year to be in there so it’s kind of like the fit right so they come in their group then and then they’re trying to figure out okay what’s the next house it’ll work and really interesting is that people that are growing the fastest what they’re doing is they’re very systematically building out the back into the value ladder okay and most about value allows are simple it’s like there’s a fact tradition most people who are making money that they folks on the middle first right like the webinar or something at that in the middle and they build out so they bill at the back end it’s like back in whatever that thing is and that’s done you have the middle and back end like it stops you don’t keep creating anymore back and stuff like that’s that’s the end of it and then what your business is moving forward is creating new front-end offers that bring people into the middle of value ladder which under send people to back in and I started looking at was interesting um I lost my way I’d forgotten these lessons that I fight it’s funny I kind of like creation the taco speakers look at I forgot some of them it’s been a while since I kinda revisited those those thoughts when I realize is that my value ladder was like it came up and it kind of split off and then it kind of broke off there’s like all these different things people could do it was we were monetizing a bunch of them but but there’s confusion right and so it’s interesting there’s actually two programs that we have both that do well over a million bucks here that I am turning off boom boom whoa not because they’re not awesome they are not cuz I’m making money they are because they don’t they’re they’re deviants they deviate off of the value ladder right my value ladder is very very simple moving forward and so the rest of this year I’m trying to get these P things in places to kind of execute on that but it’s very simple what it is is we have a webinar where I sell click funnels funnel building secrets which is the new funnel hacks funnel scripts and traffic seekers those full products bundled together on six full months of click funnels for two thousand dollars yeah that’s what I sell that’s the thing I did that webinar a couple weeks ago did really well that’s that’s what I sell that’s my middle my value latch two thousand or C and the back into that we have our two common club coaching which will be releasing here probably at the live event and that’ll be working room too and that’s that’s about that’s the back end inner circles full so not treat more people in there so we’re going to thousand dollars for ClickFunnels™ and then whatever the pricing is on the two comical coaching that’s coming up and that’s it and that’ll be and that won’t deviate that I won’t change that’ll be the same for forever and then all I will be doing in this point forward there hopefully the rest of my life and brush my business courage is craning cool front end so I have the dot-com seekers book which is a front end and we have the experts cute book which is front end eventual of traffic secrets the marketing secrets and other ones right perfect webinar all these other things I’ll just be having fun creating front ends but they only go the front end hits gay people then to ascend up to the two thousand in the 2002 column coaching and that’s that’s it that’s my business and I figure out the cool winning ways to sell front ends and that all I’m doing is selling front ends right that’s it and so it’s very simple so all your creative juices entrepreneurs should be on like figuring out the next then the next back in it all kind of stuff you should be simple should be just like what’s the cool front and we can we can drive them or people into and that’s kind of the game so I’m excited you’ll see this um some of the tweaks I’m making now is this severe hyper focus arm value ladder is okay somebody buys the extra secrets book okay if I know that this is my severe hyper-focus thing like what’s the process of taking they buy the book and they go upside down stop Rosten Thank You page I have a live presentation right there of me pitching the two thousand dollar thing right right there and now if they finish that that it’s like hey you want to apply for coaching come here and it’s just that’s that’s the process very simple very easy and we’ll just replicate it over and over and over again so anyway I’m some far my business and by my life and hopefully those users listen this will simplify earlier not later because sometimes we get all excited and the next thing we know there’s like a billion things happening and yeah so simplify now anyway that’s like I’m gonna go ahead in right now get to bed because we’ve got a crazy week starting tomorrow joke aside it forum but hopefully this gives you guys a couple things number one hopefully gives you guys some thoughts on doing your team core planning meeting with you and your partner’s if it’s just you and your employees or whatever it is just you your spouse or just you they sit down and plan next year’s goals figure out reverse engineer what you need to do to actually execute all that hit them to figure out what the three or four big Hail Mary passes are you gonna need to throw to get the big goals and then number two is really map out your value ladder and try to simplify it as much as you can and that’s what I’m doing so you guys will see it coming what’s up everybody russell brunson welcome to the marketing secrets podcast I got something inside and I’ll share with you right now so the big question is this power entrepreneurs like us who didn’t and yet still remain profitable in this podcast we’ll give you the answers my name is Russell Brunson and welcome to marketing secrets alright everybody so on something I’ve talked a lot about in my inner circle recently and like a lot of people launching membership programs membership sites and if you guys everyday I think we’re like you did something really successful for a long time and then you for some reason you stopped doing it and you don’t know why you did so that’s one of these ideas that came out and so I shared it with a bunch of them and they’re all going crazy and a bunch of are trying out right now and I was like man they should be marketing to GU share everybody else so I’m bringing to the podcast so this is what it is this is the way if you got a membership sites like stimulate growth really really rapidly like help you get a hundred signups in like a day or two hundred or thousand depending how big your thing is how do you get a whole bunch in really really quick and I have not yet done this with ClickFunnels™ but I’m going to do empty anyway first anyway I don’t know but I used to his back to me other membership sites and I saw initially personally modeled who did this first was a guy named alex mandossian and they did it to fill up a hold people in their in their software programs which is kind of cool and so I watched them do it and then I did it for five times afterwards and it worked amazingly well every single time then for some reason I stopped doing it because that’s what we do right when things work we just stop doing it sometimes the ad dienes of an entrepreneur’s mind anyway so this is a really important and really cool one so this is the strategy okay I’ll walk you through all the pieces and then hopefully gives you guys a tool you can use anytime you want like sell some stuff really quick so what we do is we promote it and I did it back and they would tell us seminars I think it would still work with tell seminars affects almost mic anyway who knows but definitely with webinars as well or Facebook lives or a lot of fun ways you can do it but the big key is like you’re promoting an event right and the event is to talk about something cool like a new discovery you figured out that that’s brand new to whatever it is you do right there’s different ways of position if you read the doc on stickers book there’s five different kiosks we have in there but my favorite one for this is like oh my gosh I figure this new thing I want to Sochi has live she had to be on this thing cuz I’m gonna teach you or show you were walking behind the scenes of this new thing that just came out right and so a new discoveries like the hook that I love this in the most right and so um for example the last time we did this was back when we had when we’re focusing more like business opportunity seekers as opposed to entrepreneurs and we’d figure out a way to generate leads was really cool we were doing like CPA networks and there are these offers or getting you know thousand sales a day and the people that these offers was actually selling the lead so it’s not a strategy I believe it or I recommend anybody ever do but it’s a really cool thing right so we were like tapping into these CPA networks to the offers and we’re basically someone would opt in for an offer and then they would buy that person’s product but then we would get the lead put into our autoresponder like Oh Reds but a little different and we were getting you know a couple thousand leads a day coming in and it was really really cool I poached it told you that now some you guys and they teach us that but don’t it’s a horrible idea it’ll get your autoresponder shut down it’s people won’t know you are it’s not spamming was as close as you can get without like having a legal issue so I don’t agree I don’t do it it’s bad but back then it was like the new all the new opportunity rights new thing I was like oh my gosh this is amazing so I did is I did this this teleseminars like hey I’m gonna I want is jump on I’m gonna show you this new way that we’re found out to get an extra three thousand leads a day and it’s happening every single day it’s crazy and people like what they’re going crazy they want they want this thing right and so they get on and this is a mini it’s not a perfect webinar so don’t think of it as a perfect webinar this is me talking about a new discovery I just had and I’m gonna teach them what it is okay I’m giving I said that with emphasis on purpose I’m teaching what it is what is the thing okay so it’s the what okay not to be different not to be confused with the how there’s a what and there’s a how right so this is the the what so this is what this new thing is and so 45 minutes I told a story about how I figured this thing out and where I met this person how it works and I show them exactly what it was and how here they offers the CPA offers they’re in there here’s how you plugged in an autoresponder and this is what it was and from there we’re getting three thousand leads today coming in consistently right and so I showed them what and and people are going nuts like oh my gosh that I want to do this I want to do this but the problem is that they know the what they don’t understand the how like how do you actually do it how do you find the offers how do you find the people how like how do you negotiate much it’s gonna cost like all those kind of things right so they know the well but not the how so you show them the what in a 45 minutes thing and it’s just basically telling the story about how you figured out the what right so you telling the story how you figure out the what and the result you’re getting from the what and they’re like what the dump and that’s the Brunson ISM I think what the dump and then at that point you step back and say it’s been in the clock so starting at the top the hour spent 45 minutes and then at that point and they’re like what the dump I need this you say wait I actually am NOT gonna show I don’t have time in the context to show you this right now but for all my members over here inside of ClickFunnels™ as out of my membership site inside of my guys come over cheers okay this is uh we’re gonna try and pull this together for a long time after this is a tough than I’ve been wanting to do I have a lot of questions recently so this is actually gonna be on we’re doing this as a video so it’s utter lack of radio with a podcast so the audio will be on our other iTunes channels and everything else the YouTube will be on funnel hacker TV and this is actually going live right now if a group so if there’s questions I’ll try to be bouncing back and forth between pages see if I get the questions answered but one of the main things I get asked all the time right now and that is people are always saying you know guys there’s so much going on as far as click photos and photo strips what’s final scripts how does final scripts work how can I use it and I thought the only way I can actually do justice to that is by actually bringing Jim on Glen talk about funnel scripts how you can actually use it as a funnel hacker and more importantly some of the cool things that he’s been adding recently one of which is a podcast platform which i think is just awesome since this actually being on a podcast so with all that Jim welcome to the show well thanks for having me Dave I’m excited yes it took us a little while to get this done but we got it done and this was the preordained time that you and I should be here together talking about this and I just hope it is actually going in live that’s my only question and if it’s not I’m gonna just go post it later but anyways so let’s just dive right in and says it’s going live on Facebook and I am assuming that that is actually doing just that so with all that said I want to just cut right into this Jim and say how do foreign scripts come about funnel scripts came about because I know from doing online stuff for the last 20 years and and I used to teach people how to create websites back in the day of making them what mozilla and doing HTML and i know for a once you teach somebody how to put up a site the the next thing they got to do is figure out ok what words are gonna go on the site and back in the day you could do that with just education and whatnot but the world has changed and then when I saw click funnels and click funnels taken off and then I read Russell’s book here it is when I read comm secrets and I had seen Russell on on a cruise and and you know we had we’d seen each other and kind of connected there and I said dang every single one of these things I said I can I can turn all of these scripts into software and literally I know that because I already done it with some other stuff I said I can turn all these scripts into software so literally all anybody would have to do is just fill out a form whack a button copy and paste and put it right over into their funnel and so I made I actually took several of them and I turned them into scripts and then I contacted Russell I said dude your book is awesome and I got an idea I want to show you something he’s like oh yeah ok but but but then he gave me he he gave me a chance to show him what what I had and then he got all excited he’s like you mean to tell me that we can and I said yes so when we and I’m summarizing like many months of back and forth and stuff but when we first started with funnel scripts we had one downloadable wizard we had the perfect webinar wizard and we had 19 online scripts and so we fast forward now this is coming up on two years now with funnel scripts we have over 40 online scripts and we have now 6 downloadable Wizards that will do everything from help you create your do all the stuff to create your show notes to create your ads to create your interview questions to create your emails to create your teasers all these things and literally reduces it down to 10 minutes and so that’s that’s basically how the the podcast and FB live interview wizard goes but you know that’s um then it’s your question about and how we got started with funnel scripts the great thing about working with Jim is just say one thing and it just goes and goes and goes it goes you don’t have to say anything else yeah I was told he does a child add a big mouth but then I told my mom you know one time I was speaking from the stage and said how’s that motor mouth working out now mom yeah that’s working out okay there you go so no honestly I think that part only because I had the opportunity of seeing the wizardess you were created for the podcast and it is a huge huge huge blessing for anybody’s doing podcast but more important that I love how original was just gonna be podcast it’s now also for Facebook live right and I think that’s the part that people have to understand is it’s actually a lot of people don’t know exactly what to say or how to do gets things started or all that and the best thing I love about scripts is it takes out all of the writer block type of problems that most people have it’s right which is always the hardest part is just getting started the hardest thing the hardest thing that you will ever look at is a blank blinking cursor taunting you like hey got a ride an email teaser right blink blink blink hey got a write a sales letter blink blink blink and the hardest draft is the first draft and so what funnel scripts does no matter whether you’re trying to create an email sequence mean we just added an email onboarding sequence that writes an 11 email sequence for you 11 emails in order to onboard something – anything from software to a physical product to a service to coaching to a home-study course doesn’t matter total onboarding sequence for you and it the the hardest draft is always a first draft and so what funnel scripts does is it creates that first draft for you based on proven I mean proven sales copy or email templates or video sales letter templates on templates that we know on scripts we know produce results and instead of you having to learn the script and then learn the language and then type from scratch it takes from your head you type it in you whack the button it puts it into the proven formulas and it spits it out for you so all you have to do is just edit it and then put it over into your click funnels funnel it couldn’t be any easier unless I came to your house filled it out for you while you made me my favorite lunch and I charged you a thousand dollars an hour well if you don’t mind let’s just dive right in can we share your screen just show people some of this cool stuff sure and we’ll talk through those people who listen on the audio will make sure you guys can understand some of the stuff that Jim is showing you so you guys didn’t aren’t missing out on any of this stuff as well okay so are you seeing my screen right yeah okay so basically with funnel scripts the way we have it organized is as soon as you pull up you you come into the dashboard and when you’re new to funnel scripts or if you have been using funnel scripts but you haven’t seen this yet you need to watch the quick start video and the quick start video just explains the mechanics of how all of the online scripts work and also how the downloadable scripts work then we have something that really should be your first stop anytime you’re looking to do something with funnel scripts and it’s the funnel scripts blueprints and training and basically what this does is it lays out for you the main funnels that anybody’s going to use and then you have click-through access to the exact click or funnel scripts that you need to build that part of your funnel so if you’re doing a product sales funnel of course every one of your pages needs a headline so you can just click right on through to the headline script if you want to use a PowerPoint opt-in video script then you can click on that or if you want to use the lead capture script or if you want to use the the call to action script then on your sales page or your OTO page we have all these different scripts that will help you create long sales letters short sales letters PowerPoint vs LS v sls that you can use like russell does talking directly into the camera so we have all of these in here so one of the questions I get is hey Jim I just signed up for funnel scripts and which scripts should I use and my question is well what kind of funnel are you making because that’s going to dictate which funnel script you actually use and I will tell you there are a few that everybody needs to use pretty much for everything like the headline script so if you come down here we actually have three different headline scripts – for sales letters and one for content my favorite is the killer headline script because this is the one where it just makes a amazing headline super super fast and we have on a lot of the scripts we have individual instructional videos and stuff we also have example projects so that you can instead of having to stare at a blank again just filling out the blanks which by the way is as easy as we can make it because we give you prompts and examples but you can click on many of these we have examples so if you had an info product even if you didn’t have a stock investing course you could click on this example for the stock investing info product and it will automatically populate all of these blanks so that you can see how somebody else used it and then you can say okay well my target Aviance is not a beginner investor it’s a funnel hacker or or whatever it is so our number one keyword topic stock investing pic winning stocks so it all you have to do is just basically go through and answer the questions and and it makes it even easier because we give you the prompts you know when you may wave your magic wand how fast they get the big payoff you can get results automatically quickly instantly so makes it super easy then you click build and it’ll show you what you put in and then it will give you in this case it gives you a whole bunch of different output now if you read Russell’s book which I’m holding up which I guess nobody can see but if you read Russell’s book one of the things that he teaches you in dot-com secrets is the difference between hot warm and cold traffic and for those of you paying attention at home it’s on page 119 ok and so hot one cold traffic you’ll understand the difference between that is basically they know about you and your product they know there’s a solution out there or they have no idea there’s a solution all they know is they have a problem so one of the ways to get really much better conversion is to use hot warm or cold headlines based on the temperature your traffic and just as an aside we all know from paying attention to Russell that the way to make a whole lot of money is to be able to convert warm and cold traffic with or with with paid ads that’s how you create a killer scalable business so what we can do here in this part I’m and I’ll point out down below there’s like a hundred hundred fifty different headlines down here but they can all start looking the same so what I like to do we have a neat little thing built in here where you can just click this and every time you click it it’ll load a different headline so what you can do is use this to see which one grabs your grabs your attention so let’s say we’re going after warm traffic so let’s like new iron a double-digit return on your stock investments without losing money on stocks fast or today or so that it’ll load different little now so you know pick more money you can start losing money on stocks watch this free video that reveals how you can getting an unfair advantage with picking winning stock and avoid losing money so here’s a quick way to pick more money-making stocks I like this one so what I would do is just add that to the clip bin and or I can just copy and paste it right there by clicking that button I can go right over into funnel scripts and I can I don’t have I don’t have click funnels open but I can literally just paste that into my text editor here so except for Jim what things love is the fact as far as not hot warm and cold and that ability to be able to identify your audience is a lot of things a lot of people struggle with as far as who actually am I speaking to and you’re writing able the scripts to be able to identify that I also want to make sure if you guys have questions go ahead an put it down in the comments and I’ll make sure that we get this answer for those you guys who follow us on Facebook as well yeah the big thing is that what funnel scripts does is it helps you to overcome one of the biggest challenges that that people have when they’re writing sales copy and that is when you need to come up with a headline you have a situation where and I’ll come back to this but I want you guys to hear me and pay attention when I’m saying most people struggle to come up with good headlines most people struggle to come up with good bullets and calls to action and stuff like that and so what happens is once you just finally get one you’re so excited cuz you finally got a headline that you don’t want to have to think up more so you’re like okay I got this headline I’m gonna show this puppy to everybody this is the headline okay and it either works or it doesn’t but it’s like oval is working kind of good or or whatever and that’s the problem is that you need to be able to come up with a bunch of different types add lines and different versions of headlines so you can test them because this is a fact of life with with funnels the the first version of the funnel you come out with is is not the one that’s going to make you all the money I’ve only ever had one headline in 20 years be a headline I could never beat through testing and so the great thing about what funnel scripts does is that it helps you not only come up with the different traffic temperature headlines but it helps you come up with different variations so you can test them so because that’s where the money’s made is is in getting it in there and then testing different versions and incrementally improving it and that’s one of the reasons why I love click funnels so much is because they make testing so easy because you can just copy and paste into a couple different versions and and boom you’re done so that’s I just want to I just wanted to really point that out that the headlines most important thing that’s why we take so much time and this this one we’ve spent just tons of time on and we’re updating it and we’re adding more headline scripts and stuff but that’s one of the great things about funnel scripts is it makes it easy for you to test different things headlines bullets calls to action all these different things instead of just saying you know I’m gonna kill myself to come up with this one it’s like holy crap glad that’s over and and then you never touch it in then you wonder why you’re breaking even or losing money well Jim I think the cool thing obviously the headlines are fantastic but if you take a look at some of the other crazy stuff that gets created is you actually like for the perfect webinar your whole webinar you guys I mean you creates like the whole webinar yes the the perfect here I’ll share my screen again this is so awesome so the the cool thing about this is one of the other things and and this was something that Russell introduced and and if you look up at the top we have all these scripts from experts secrets which is Russell’s second book which I told him I thought was actually better than the first book but and he agreed with me otherwise I wouldn’t have said that but um one of the things that he teaches is this whole progression of scripts so you know the who wet statement script the opportunity switch headline ask campaign the Masterclass the big domino five curiosity hooks epiphany bridge and then the perfect webinar is really how you take all of these things that he teaches in that book and and you turn it into this wonderful totally effective sales machine that can take someone who has never sold before or never sold successfully before or has struggled and gives you the framework to be able to just put together a presentation that slays it for anybody and the cool thing that this and this is one of the six downloadable Wizards that we have but basically what they here and I’ll open it up but the perfect webinar wizard basically walks you through step by step by step exactly what Russell teaches in the experts secrets book and it’ll probably take you about an hour to go through and answer this answer all the questions and stuff but I want you to think about this most people we talked to when they say oh I got to put together a perfect webinar it takes him at least a week I mean Russell even says when he’s putting it together takes at least a week crazy amount of time you can equip them this wizard is just I mean it puts everything out for you and then it actually puts it also down under the Year PowerPoint or keynote exactly so I’ll show you what a couple things that it can do if you want um but we had a couple of guys tell us that we in fact we did a whole case study on them that basically they were able to take this and create a six-figure business our six figures worth of sales by just using this wizard to create the webinars and they’re selling they’re teaching people how to mix music they’re teaching musicians how to mix mixed music so this isn’t just something where you learn all this was just a show make money stuff no this is to see if you have something that solves a problem satisfied as a desire for people then you can create an amazing webinar to to help people to be able to get what they want so basically once you’ve filled out the blanks okay and and the cool thing we have now Russell taught about the perfect webinar in the first comm secrets book and then he in the experts secrets book he really expanded upon it and made it even more awesome and so what I did was I went back and I added all the distinctions that he made in the experts secrets book and and came out with version 2.0 so you just answer all the questions we even referenced the book with pages so that you can letter okay and this is what I’m supposed to share a secret well maybe I’m not sure I did yet let me go to page 134 on the expert secrets book and I’ll show me what to do then this thing will output all it’ll output your webinar outline it outputs an opt-in video script so you want to create a video to tell people to opt-in for your perfect webinar you want to create the opt-in sales page copy creates all the webinar closes so you know when you when when you hear Russell will using closes like now is the time to decide or infos not enough for any of these things that creates all the customized closes for you creates all your promo ads create your email teasers and the coolest thing is that it literally will create all of your webinar slides totally and it’s gonna bring it over in here that’ll create all of your webinar slides for you that perfectly go through the perfect webinar no pun intended perfectly go through the everything you’re supposed to be doing it goes through all of the right steps it goes through the reframe everything and then it creates your entire stack it creates all the closes that you need everything is there completely done it creates a hundred and four slides for you just from filling out that wizard and it does your price drop it does the building the stack it does the guarantee it does your bonuses everything and then it has all of the slides all of the slides with the as well and it gives you word-for-word totally customized exactly how to say exactly what Russell would say to sell your product but it’s you saying it and it what are something one of the other wizards that you have created well Dave I’m glad you asked let me show you so let’s plan um so the other the other downloadable wizards that we have are we have the we have the VSL wizard which literally you answer I think 24 questions so yes L is a vesl is a video sales letter yeah so we know a lot of what how am I gonna create a sales letter that I actually have on video and this actually creates the video sales letter for you right and it’ll either create the script in text and/or it will create it on a PowerPoint slide deck that you can customize so you don’t even have to you don’t even have to get on camera if you don’t so as before I got my new glasses picture of you hey that is attention-getting people want to know what that’s about yeah it looks like a convict sitting there going oh my god I didn’t know we were gonna turn okay nice headphones Dave by the way could you borrow those from your daughter yes I did thanks anyway but what this does I mean literally this this those cool videos that you see when Russell is talking into the camera and he gets you to buy stuff because he sells awesome stuff if you want to make those same kind of videos this software will help you do it in like a half an it’s it’s it’s not days and weeks to put it together and a half an hour you fill the thing out you whack the button and you do a little edit and you’re good to go the easy the easy survey script this one what it does is it helps you to come up with those really cool scripts and quizzes that you use at the beginning of a funnel to get people to engage and also to segment themselves so that if they answer let’s say we were doing something with I don’t know for sale by owner and we said okay are you have you ever sold the house before yes or no so if they say yes you say have you ever done it without a realtor yes or no and then if they say you know so then you can just build this sequence so that people end up seeing the rod of Airy specific landing page and that’s a really cool functionality that’s baked right into ClickFunnels™ but sometimes it’s hard for people to figure out what the questions are they should ask to construct those so this wizard helps you really easily create a survey like that based on the the very best survey funnels that that we hacked to be able to do that and specifically Stephen was the one who hacked them he went out and looked at like a hundred different survey funnels and we isolated the best the best elements from all of them and we we built it right into this really cool piece of software again take you less than a half an hour to do it the stars always go ahead day I mean happy jump over to Mike one of my favorite ones actually is that master class one okay and that I think because people are always going geez how do you actually create all the content for these master classes and what is a master class now and this thing just crushes an entire product I mean you’re creating a product for yeah this the master class wizard again the master class was a concept that Russell introduced in expert secrets and this is really the product that you use to establish yourself as the preeminent expert in your blue ocean and so what this does literally step by step by step is it helps you create an amazing master class that hits all of the points that you need to hit but then it also creates all of your marketing materials for the master class as well if you want to sell it right your sales letter for if you want to give it away for free on the first round which Russell says is a good idea it’ll write your sales copy for that it creates your ads it creates emails it creates everything you need to promote your master class as well so and and with all of these downloadable Wizards we have extensive training with each one of them we walk you through it step by step by step exactly how to use it but they’re very intuitive if you if you know how to answer a question Dave do you not answer questions I guess I do okay so you can use all of these wizards if you can answer a question you can use all of these wizards because it’s all built around a very simple formula and the simple formula is this fill out the form whack the button copy and paste and you’re good to go that’s it that’s that’s the whole principle behind funnel scripts and so and the cool thing I’ve really enjoyed is taking like like people love experts secrets and you can tell I mean this is day I remember when Dave gave me this this is actually a proof copy this isn’t even a commercial copy probably worth some money if I hadn’t scarred it all up but I mean there’s so much gold in here and Russell teaches that step by step by step the only thing that makes it better is the fact that with funnel scripts all you need to do is say oh okay I need to do the I need to create my own opportunity switch so instead of going through the book like I did here and you know analyzing all the stuff and figuring out what you’re going to do all you have to do is go to the opportunity switch script in funnel scripts fill that bad boy out and it’s and you’re done that’s it you’re ready to go I’m so excited honestly this is one of my favorite products we’ve created that you’ve created for us actually because I think it’s it’s was one of the missing pieces a lot of people were struggling with this to copy and how to actually actually create that kind of stuff so thank you so much for creative most importantly I appreciate that you are always updating it I think that’s the part that surprised some people honestly it actually I know just because it’s so often again in the information marketing space so often approximants create it and it’s done it sits on a shelf and it’s like a static thing this is a very dynamic product it’s changing all the time so again kudos to Jim for pulling this thing off I think we’re I think the reason that we do that is because just that will help a customer to overcome what we might call the liberal arts barrier or the creativity barrier where they’re just not wired to do that on their own but if I can hand them a first draft then they can oh yeah that’s how I would say it and it’s because it’s all your thoughts I’m just taking your thoughts and I’m putting them into proven sales copy in a way that works and so I it’s it’s just it’s a lot of fun I enjoy it I love helping people I love getting the emails where people say you know you changed my life with funnel scripts final scripts change my life and you get the occasional in the air final script stocks but I mean it’s you’ll get one of those and then like within five minutes you’ll get some of this changed my life you’re awesome and so that’s why I do it I mean I just it’s been this has been the most fun I’ve had in the last 20 years because this is something that’s just making a huge difference for people because you can have all the tools in the world but if you don’t have a way to get the copy on the page in a way that is going to make people buy from you sign up dial the phone fill out the form to become a lead or click the link to take the next step you will fail and you’ll give up so I really see funnel scripts as a mission really honestly I see it as a mission to to help people who need help and and who need a fast result instead of buying you know I can show you back there on my on my table all these you know just a few copywriting books you’re gonna go buy these copywriting and advertising books and read them in order to be able to write your sales letter by next Monday you’re not gonna do that nobody is I might but I mean most most people are not you just don’t have the time energy and effort to do that and and the thing is it used to be Dave you know when we were starting out sales online sales a funnel was basically a long-form sales letter and a buy button that’s that’s all it’s all sales was okay and an email teaser now there’s so many different things that go into making a funnel success one we didn’t even show you guys the the the Facebook ads the Facebook ads script is the one that people go absolutely insane over because it’s the thing they have so much problem so many problems with you want me to show that real quick or no up we don’t have time I know we don’t have time that’s fine the the thing to get final scripts calm exactly um but I know and I lost track but the the things where people have problems are and there’s so many different things you got to be able to write Facebook Ads you got to be able to write email to you’ve got to be able to write follow-up email sequences you got to be able to create regular ads you got to be able to fake you know case studies and testimonials and and all these different things bullets all these different things you need to be able to be really really really good at really really fast because the world is moving so much faster now he used to be you could set something up you are good to go for a couple of years now you you’ve got to constantly be in this flow and be able to do these things quicker and quicker and quicker and if you’re gonna be the marketer and the traffic driver and the funnel builder and all these different things you you don’t have time to do your funnel copy from scratch you need an awesome tool to help you do it and that’s his funnels with foam with click funnels I create all my copy with funnel scripts I mean that’s that’s the best proof I can give you that it actually works and the other thing I would tell you and this is this is the God’s honest truth funnel scripts is too cheap we still don’t charge enough money for it there are people out there who are charging thousands of dollars a year for far inferior products and funnel scripts for an automated service like what it is is the number one thing in the world that you could buy and we don’t charge enough money for it so if you’re already a funnel decade of my life and no one’s ever sent pizza until today kudos to you for paying attention and we’ll see if he gets the job oh it’s been dropped guess what today is it’s that day all right so what’s that about about to start and I got kind of nervous I forgot I haven’t prepared anything so I ran here I just did like 45 slides in the last 45 minutes a slide a minute and then how many were in the room right now so there’s only 66 seats total and there are 64 butts in those oh yeah these are great people in there too is like you got like people there are some people he’s nervous I never saw you walk in this morning hear stories this morning I was trying to leave I had to go to the bathroom so I go my doors my house like the thick like big door so I gotta grab my door and I’m turning and like my brain must be slow today I’m turning it I go this who at my finger goes smack in the door probably 20 minutes I was screaming like well I was screaming like his redneck what happened my Bloods coming off my fingernail and like anyway oh do a dramatic and then never go to the bathroom so I got off some I forgot that’s why Islamic hey I’m good now cuz you’re all wondering so alright here it comes I start every vent like this it goes Oh oh I always start our event like that we’re super excited we’re not getting started I just do that every time oh yeah whoa [Music] sitting next to Russell said the key to go from six to seven figures and and sit there and Russell said there’s no difference going from six to seven figures in terms of hours you work there’s no difference Bob times we think that’s the way it is though instead it’s all about settling one to one it’s all about selling one to me and if you watch the way Russell doesn’t and when you’re gonna learn about its career days you’re gonna learn much about one too many crazy swinging because you’re going to know how to letters all about leverage there was a whole treatment so that especially to date today’s very friends Infusionsoft Oh slow they did 132 million last year monthly mro 11 million and 125 million raised what so these numbers are very similar to like ours except for that one right there what are well and then up here Tony house how are you brother you know Tony he’s my brother so it’s cool it’s exciting and then about to get a call with one of the scorpion guys so scorpion is a genius dude who they solve every problem on planet earth and still you paying 10 grand minimum and it’s 150 bucks an hour basically off that 10 grand they’ll solve any problem you can dream up anything so bigger the problem the more they like it the more excited I get so I have a call within a few seconds with them and I’m gonna have him pick a problem to solve which is gonna be awesome what problems we haven’t saw I was gonna say geez oh man I’m hit men without a without a trace just kidding [Music] okay so a couple years ago I shouldn’t get a hold of somebody and I tried everything I tried snail mail fax email everything possible and nothing got ahold of them I had this idea said what if I called the pizza place next to his house and deliver pizza with his name on it so I’m deliver pizza and I hear back from him so I had him I call back a couple as later I had him deliver ten pizzas with my name and phone number on it and then he got back home with me anyway I told that story a lot over the last decade in my life and no one’s ever sent a pizza until today today somebody the pizza place knock on door said hey I have a pizza for Russell Brunson I’m like that’s me and then they handed me this note that said Russell got a – that’s – come with this phone number how far is that it’s a great great job I’m impressed that’s um kudos to you for paying attention and we’ll see if he gets what’s up everybody this is russell brunson and welcome to the marketing secrets podcast hope you guys aren’t amazing today so the big question is this power on Brewers like us who didn’t cheat and take on venture capital for spending money from our own pockets how do we market in a way the lets us get our products and our services and the things that we believe in outs of the world and yet still remain profitable that is the question and this podcast will give you the answers my name is Russell Brunson and welcome to marketing secrets alright ready so it is the day before Thanksgiving we have twenty bubble soccer balls being delivered to my house we’re gonna be playing a huge bowl soccer game on the Smurfs turf which is really exciting are the astroturf we call it summer turf cos the blue here in Boise but and we’re looking forward to that and everything’s getting ready with rustle practice this morning with the kiddos and I had some cool experience that happened there one that was just a really special moment when I said he hasn’t won that was the reason why most people aren’t successful in business so I’ll give you both and hopefully you listen from the tube so number one it’s really cool it at the kids school there’s a little kid on it’s kind of a crazy story cuz apparently his mom and him both found that cancer about the same time together the cute little family it’s a little kid named Nico and so at the junior high what did we call it David I kind of everyone gotten around this this kid historian trying to help him out and it’s just cute like all the kids we’re Huskies for Nico tisha t-shirts like went down had a show on today said the Huskies were Nico and they do fundraisers for Nico on the ice things and she’s such a cool thing how they like got into school all behind this one person in this one cause and movement and it’s it’s cool I you know I was talk about building mass movements and things like that but I think a lot of times it sees these little private intimate movements it that means so much to people and really helps people to to become something more and there’s just cool watching this and watching my kids participate in this in this movement for for a little kid in their school nameko and so today russ and practice you know that all these price 60 or 70 wrestlers out there all trained to be warriors trying to tough at everything and the middle practice and ego his dad came in when he walked in it just like the whole room went silent and it was like out of respect for him and it’s like just one of the neatest neatest experiences I’ve witnessed in a long time and got chills in there watching and all the kids was looking at him and like talking to him and then they came in and they they presented him because Nikko was a wrestler as well before I’m all these problems happen so they gave him wrestling t-shirts and sweatshirts and stuff like that and then they had an ego lead a cheer so they brought him on in and did their it was just cool thing so that was a fun thing happened today and then afterwards I was talking with the dads and that’s a successful real estate dude here in Boise and it’s kind of funny cuz he was like hey I recognize you guys see you in my newsfeed every single day sorry but I wish I was better looking it was kind of funny because he was in there and we were talking for a while afterwards and and it was interesting because there’s a big reason why more people aren’t successful it’s a mindset we can see something yeah definitely so I want to share with you guys you’re stuck in this mindset week it’s what’s keeping you back I did a podcast episode on a hundred podcast or so ago talking about no outsourcing your lovemaking and in there talked about how like if look at a business like no matter what you’re selling for selling houses tarz supplements like it doesn’t matter what you’re selling you’re selling like you think that part doesn’t matter doesn’t that matter what business you’re in the Marquise with the matters and actually it’s the lifeblood with businesses with drive leads and customers and sales it’s the only thing in action matters like I can take my marketing systems plug in any business into work because I’m human psychology is the same how we get to be the same it’s the same right and so talking to man he’s like yeah well good phones you know I just haven’t done yet you know does it affect me at all and he’s like I guess for Jake he generates leads and sells products it’s like whatever you needed to be he’s like oh so you have anyone in real estate doing I might give it to come to people like I you know top my head I know probably half a dozen or so there’s guy who’s got one of the biggest programs just here in Boise I’m like he’s using it and it’s funny and they say oh you know I hire some come arcing company stuff for me and they’re kind of give us leave Mike so the working good he’s like no not really like I wish we just get rid of all the leads being all the other agents underneath to say they want internet leads so we have to do that but I just I don’t like it and I think it’s dumb and he’s like in right now we’re still in about 100 houses a year and he’s like you know if we got to play we have about 200 houses and then we could afford to hire a full time marketing person to generate leads and stuff and it’s just as the marketing guy here I just like I want to grab the guy just like what are you like how do you not understand this it’s like saying um yeah like it like let’s say you’re you’re struggling in your marriage and you’re like yeah well my wife and I when we start like having you know what marriage gets good and like we’re happy and like everything’s perfect then we’ll go to counseling I think no counseling irreverent is what gets you there right and it’s just funny like at when like when we get wouldn’t grown to hide if we can afford some to generate leads them literally to say no if you can’t afford not to like you should stop everything you’re doing the only thing you should do is generate leads it’s funny because he’s like yeah the biggest person in town they have about a thousand they saw but they’re doing all of it online generally leads online and is able to do because because they had their selling so many houses and I know you understand it’s because they’re doing it they’re able to sell so many houses it’s not because that’s so many houses they can do it it’s like the chicken of the egg it’s like it’s like yeah it’s like you’re trying like if I cut off the oxygen to your brain your brain will stop so like it is the lifeblood I told my was like any last name Harry you guys do stuff like for me like no like we think no I’m like we certify people they can do it but it’s like I mean if you really wanna be successful it’s like you have to become the head of the marketing like you cannot outsource your lovemaking like you can’t do that in business and expect it to be awesome right in your marriage if you’re like eh this is my wife I mean house we love making somebody else like your business your marriage is gonna fail it’s the same thing in your business like it is the lifeblood it is the thing that gets customers into your world and gets them to like you and believe you and trust you and give you money and it’s like the most important part of business I think the biggest problem with funny if you listen to emails like Michael Gerber talks about this like people are technicians they have an entrepreneurial seizure and they think they want start a business because they work in a cake factory and they see the dude who runs the cake shop and I use guys a moron I can do a better job without so they start their own business and they’re not entrepreneurs there’s do to build cakes it’s like the dude who builds a cake like anyone can build a cake like you can hire a lot of people to do that like it’s the person who’s gonna actually Inc sell the crap out the cakes that runs the business like if you don’t have that like your business dies it’s funny like in 2008 when all you when the economy crashed all these companies are crashing I see all these people in the companies like this that their first instinct is not like let’s lower costs on like stupid stuff they all cut their marketing and their sales but like their marketing budget I’m like okay we’re struggling let’s cut off the lifeblood to our head like in wrestling when I’m taking I’m wrestling somebody there’s a little floater watching the video right here both sides your neck there is a thing called a carotid artery and if I want if I’m rust is my owner for a headlock and I put a little bit pressure right there against the credit artery and that fast the blood flow stops to your head it’s like if someone chokes you right and then shake you die with your card if I touch it right that fast you will block out it’s really fun we were I’ll say someone you’re getting you get a book and he’s a whole body goes limp me flip them over and you pin it right because it’s the blood that goes to your brain you cut off the blood it’s it’s like a second and you’re out cold and I’d take it back off in the blood she’s coming your back lie right so companies come with a cut-off they cuff lifeblood and then the company dies like that fast it’s like that is what’s keeping you alive like in times a bad economy they triple down on the advertising triple down on the marketing like that’s anyway you guys all know that I’m just beat I’m preaching to the choir but for everyone else this one can’t talk about it because it’s thought so funny like and I told him and he’s like oh you know lead generation for me is is you know nurturing the clients we have and things like that and you know I can’t outsource that that’s my lovemaking or something I’m like do you think that’s any way any way so that’s like I’ve said you know to say if you wanted her company focus on the marketing the sales of the thing and I’m oh she has our business because you love the thing you do that’s awesome but if you want to have a lot of people use that thing you got to become obsessed with the marketing of the thing that is the key the marketing of the thing is the business the business is not the thing the bit the thing is the fulfillment of whatever you want to do but the business is the marketing don’t think it’s the only thing that actually matters because without that your company dies without that the lifeblood goes off to your brain and instantly your alcohol and that’s why versus another SAS companies other SAS companies are focusing on you know hiring these huge teams of people to do whatever I don’t know what they even do right we focus on the marketing the marketing drives it so there you go guys anyway hold up some of you guys who are thinking and wondering and like oh you know man out some hire a marketing team like it’s hard to do you can do it but if you really want to grow like you got to confess with the marketing everything you’ve got to not try to outsource your lovemaking and realize that that is the business and if you want to be in business you might be an entrepreneurial talent seizure you had if like trying to start this cake company or your whatever thing is you sell like if you want that baby to survive and to live you know being obsessed with the thing is not gonna do it as being obsessed with the marketing of the thing so I hope that helps appreciate you all let go I got a couple hours to work by to do this killed and be kind of a father-son tag team and cannot wait for that after that finishing up with Skippy oh and then heading down tomorrow to go to meeting with six division we’re doing some things I work out to United States right now and these students need to hear it they need to be inspired it may be motivated just create the inspiration and that’s all that’s all I need from you all so you got you got 20 minutes to do that all right that’s the assignment let’s see if we can pull this thing off all right so classes that really begin here I sat in these classes many times usually towards the very back because I was always trying to bail out early to go skiing so Chandler’s to be speaking today with me crazy as it sounds Nick’s leavekat sir [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so this is my mom and my dad and Chandler who basically we’re here during this huge auditorium as I had the opportunity speaking so it was fun made a good time okay soon I’m away now down to Phoenix how do we start working with that genius network tomorrow but soon as that lamp we head over to six division talked to six division and so I don’t know if we like it all that in before noon but we’ll see what we can get done [Music] all right so just landed in Phoenix about ready to head over to a six division there’s some guys you basically build out funnels and things for other partners for us and how we might be able to work together on some larger projects and stuff so on our way to six division next that’s where we’re going [Music] search especially six division things went fantastic and we’re put into different he’s not because the dudes a genius never met Russell but Russell I love you and a lot of people in common why do you think about why do you launch why do you have a funnel why are you trying to convert people because when you are associated with your purpose which is basically what I help people do is find that deeper why and their purpose I’ve made millions of dollars with may be imperfect offers because I love my people and I know them as well and so just remember that that’s the heart and core of what your funnel the core your funnel is your purpose and so discouraged do your best to remember that why are you doing what you’re doing how is it impacting the people that are receiving this because it’s not just buying it it’s not just data they’re human beings we’re living and breathing on the other end of your communications and how people yourself into their shoes and just consistently refine that process so bring your purpose personal conversion will follow look alikes and I run into one only game laughs quick bottles I have a funnel hacker little Ryan and I are on our way to we’re going stripe we’re sending them about four hundred million dollars every single year and so they actually said they would meet with us so since we’re in their home area we’re on our way all right so this is our jacked up traffic is our drivers back their traffic is so stopped and we’re three tenths of a mile so Ryan’s like hey can’t we just get there faster walking hey there guys they yep you totally can there it is straighter see if we can actually get into this place we’re signing in so stripes offices actually are the old drop box offices down here in San Francisco kind of crazy fun little place [Music] all right so Ryan basically was to walk down the streets of the day and look what we saw Mecca that’s Boxer we run our whole company off the box so we’re gonna see if we can actually go in there and say hi to these guys Ryan just broke into this building we’re gonna climb up I insist all right so Ryan and I are basically here in San Francisco and at the opportunity of swinging by boxer to meet with earth basically is CEO boxer we have literally hundreds of people on our platform that’s not thousands of people who are using boxer what do you want to say to the boxer community say hey thanks for using the product and if you haven’t heard of boxer download what’s up everybody its russell brunson welcome to marketing seekers podcast tonight we are gonna be hanging out with some cinnamon toast crunch so the big question is this power arch Brewers like us who didn’t cheat and take on venture capital we’re spending money from our own pockets how do we market in a way the less husky our products and our services and the things that we believe in out to the world and yet still remain profitable in this podcast we’ll give you the answers my name is Russell Brunson and welcome to marketing secrets alright so why am I talking about quiet because it’s late at night and wife and kids everyone’s asleep why am i eating cinnamon toast crunch because I have committed that by phone hacking live I’m gonna be in shape and so barb Miller who helped me dress me at last Funaki live he’s with his big body transformation got ripped in the 6-pack and everything I was like alright Bart we’re gonna do it scheme in shape so we’re gonna do it but it doesn’t start till the day after Thanksgiving so I got a week to garbage and so I haven’t even really help people last like six months right now I’m gonna go unhealthy as possible so I’m eating cinnamon toast crunch at like midnight how great is that I’m pretty something about that all right some I wasn’t on the Facebook right now and somebody asked a good question I said how come are be assuming that’s me hopefully why does it Russell use payment plans about anything and there’s a funk sauce and all that everyone’s kind out there there guess why did he gotta use payment plans and stuff like that so I’m just a why so a couple things first off I don’t so if I don’t believe in payment plans um I think a lot of times you make more money when you offer payment plans but there’s just things about it that drive me crazy especially like online like one of them was a big ones drive me crazy is the fact that like there’s no repercussions somebody signs up for your thousand dollar course and your three pay you know whatever they do one of the three payments they don’t do anything else like there’s nothing you can do you can’t go after me and it’s not like it’s kind of frustrating you know and digital unfortunately a lot of people who we get one payment through the go through some the course then they feel okay not doing it and there’s kind of bugs me but that’s not really the real reason you know the real the real reason why I don’t do them for the most part and I don’t say well I won’t do them cuz they’re lovely situations I’m sure I will in the future one of our new hiring coaching programs will be having a program which I’ve never done that in the past but we will be just help people cash flow and stuff like that but majors I doubt it’s because it’s a one-person comment they said rustles and do it cuz Russell’s rule is don’t sell to broke people and well that’s mostly true something I don’t like broke keyboard I don’t want to help them right people but if you study my stuff so she doc I’m secrets the book I talk about the value ladder right where I’m taking people up a value outer and I know full well people like to go to my world and they don’t have money when they first come in so I’m like okay how can I provide the most value possible so they have everything need to be successful right and on the friend and I are my books on my perfect webinar training I things like that that are free plus shipping a really low price and I don’t hold stuff back on that get dan Henry’s a good example he struggled for years you’re the doc home seekers book learn how to my webinar did it made a million bucks in five months right so and I’ve been giving away the perfect webinar now for two or three years just like the script in the video and PowerPoint slides and people always ask me why do you give it away for free I think your best stuff Mike because if someone uses it to make money thank you for my expensive stuff so for me it’s like that’s written my it more my goals I want people come in and I want them to use the stuff I have and it makes them more money and then they can come to the next things and they’re jumping up like four or five tiers if they have money that’s fine taking shortcuts success but I almost flake sometimes it’s not it doesn’t serve your customer shortcut their success we first started doing final active TV the very first time I’m just taking businesses do I like the people like entrepreneur but they weren’t having a success yet the company’s doing all the work for him launch their businesses and we found these people weren’t ready for them and we launched and it back to him and these people that get these businesses they didn’t they hadn’t learned all so they needed to to have success with it and they struggled and like despite the fact that I gave the keys to a Ferrari like they can dry the Ferrari I think sometimes we do ourselves to service a nice people just jump too far too fast they spend much money I don’t have and then they try the thing he doesn’t really work because I’m in the foundation stuff they need to get there right business is all about for us is like increasing our capacity right I went first start business you have a big capacity to do a lot of stuff right like I didn’t I got started like my capacity was like you know I I struggled to read a book and then I read a book and I was like well the book was awesome then my capacity expand a little bit and it’s the morning expanded and more and expanded now you know 15 years later we’re running a huge company were you know on the top by 2 or 3 and also there’s websites in the world make a lot of money doing lots of stuff helping a lot of people like all those things like and if I would have been handed this 15 years ago yeah the problems you have to destroy like max I wanted to because I wasn’t ready for it and I think a lot of times I mean I I know I could sell more stuff if I awfully excuse pay plans let people in but the reality is one comes in on a payment plan they can’t afford and they’re trying to learn stuff and they can’t afford it and you know then you go by traffic they need other things they need doing they can’t afford it like it doesn’t really serve them or or me so I want people to to to grow with us alright so that’s what we do stuff away stuff loading stuff no tab Mattila tear high tear things like that right and that way people come in they learn they apply and then if they get value then they should naturally send up right it’s kind of like in my stack I have a line that I say in there it’s funny cuz it’s really good closing line actually not people block it off since I started using it but it’s true for me right and for me it says I was philosophy here my company and if I can’t make you money that I don’t deserve yours and I honestly actually do believe that which is why I don’t just go and hard close it when I excuse payment plans and I see a lot people do product launches they’re still in 2000 our core source or three you know 12 payments at 300 bucks I’m like he was three bucks like I’m ever me in those days that was like but it’s a lot of money right and like it almost doesn’t disservice it’s like hey if I had to open his 300 bucks like wouldn’t you know 12 months now that all my stuff in place like start buying ads again cuz I had this huge budget of 301 my thoughts um so yeah hope that kind of helps again it’s not that I won’t do payment plans I will do in the future there’ll be times the seasons algún a lot of businesses I recommend him so it’s nothing against my just for me personally that’s my goal that’s my vision I just try to blow people’s minds every step of the value out her if I do that correctly then they’ll be able for the next thing and the next thing the next thing you know I mean I could tell you probably a couple dozen examples of this began Henry’s in my favorite joining a circle and he posted on Facebook he was like I don’t know why I joined Russell in a circle if like I got he’s like you know I I made a botch money everything I don’t really need to be I don’t really want to be in it I feel like I owed Russell 25k for all I got from the free book I bought so like how cool is that every customers fill away like now I got so much from this I feel like I owe you like I need to gonna invest your higher check your thing so I got so much room down here that’s what I’m trying to create so there you go hope that helps you guys hope hopes you think in you know I’m still talking about this Formica in my business which is teaching business owners how to grow so it’s like it’s very applicable because it’s like hey make money here and grow bit the same in any business to say your business is helping marriages right like you give them something free in these you know it increases the spark in the relationship or fixes something up they feel better like man they will want to give you more and follow you further and all that I’m a sleepovers anymore but I appreciate you coming it makes a great gift if you ever go to a birthday party for your knees cousin or daughter it’s an amazing well I don’t have my wallet here for me right now but made you come back invoice you oh really just 15 dollars what if I did 10 q10 I could do it 1111 all right I’ll do for 11 bucks this is literally the princess of the pitch right here we do like it’s happy of my book my name is Russell Brunson and I’m part of an underground group of entrepreneurs that you’ve probably never even heard of before we don’t rely on cash from venture capitalists to get started and we don’t even have goals to go public either in fact our motivation is the exact opposite you see we have products and services and things that we know change people’s lives because we’re fight against the big brands people with literally unlimited budgets we have to do things differently we have to do things smarter we don’t have financial safety nets because every test we take with our own money we have to be profitable to day number one so how do we do that how is that even possible if you ask DMV age or look at your college textbooks they will tell you to what we are doing is impossible to get it’s happening every single day it’s happening through an art and a science what we call frontal hacking it’s not really something that I can explain to you something I have to show you these stories are a glimpse of entrepreneurs just like you who have a dream and a vision you want to change the world in their a little way I use the phone hacking process they’ll make their dreams become a reality yes we are funnel hackers and these are our stories [Music] today we have Caleb Maddox and Emily Shay flying to Boise Idaho we’re gonna have a ton of fun we are going to build some funnels and we’re gonna help give their message out to more people so they can change the world in their own little way oh look at all this professional to professional for me well now I actually have a kind of selfish reason for having them fly here to Boise I’m really excited actually helping with their business helped build a funnel all kind of stuff I love but my selfish motivation is I actually want them to come to me with my kids if you want my kids that some role models to look up to because most kids when I was a kid I didn’t have that it had the role models of other kids doing amazing things I wanted my kids to see both Caleb and Emily are doing when I first started wrestling I started wrestling in eighth grade and about two weeks into my wrestling there was the state tournament happening so my dad took me to state tournament and I saw two guys on my high school team won the state tournament and then that second I was like I’m gonna be a state champ and that was like my whole focus and I seen it happen and I believed it so I like that became my whole focus and eventually I became a state champ one of my buddies his dad took him to a national tournament and he saw some his buddies placed a national tournament and so for him he was like his trajectory I want to be I want to be a national national champ and so that’s where he was shooting for so he got a state champ easy and then end up hitting these higher levels because that’s what he was shooting for and I always I was like man like I hit where I was shooting for but I but that’s all I I wish I would have shot higher and so my one of my big secret motivations for you guys is like you guys from you’re like this is national level my kids see you guys and see like that I think now give us something to shoot for and if they never hit that like now and you know just it know fired more because they see kind of that stuff now I had seen both Caleb and Emily online I’d see what they were doing I see the Facebook lives I see all the cool stuff that they’re doing and I really wanted kind of Boise so I could help them to take all of this passion and excitement and energy and all the stuff that they’re doing and help put it into a funnel cuz I know that when you have a funnel it helps you to get your message out to more people and that way they can make more money but I know what’s more important to them and to anybody who’s really an expert who really loves serving the more important thing is helping them to have more impact on their audience and help serve more people now before we get started and really get deep into the business part of everything I really wanted to hear their stories and understand where they came from and how they got to this point because it’s not normal that kids this young or already having this kind of impact on the world I really want to understand their stories and their what what it was that inspired them and got them to be able to do what they’re doing today dad I want money and he said go start a business I was like what kind of business he said he asked me what I love I told him that I love sleepovers and and then after a couple days I just kind of thought through it and came up with the whole idea in my head and he thought it was a great idea he told me you gotta raise money for a business like that because that’s gonna cost money and so I was like well what do I do it was like go write a book so I went and I sat and I wrote a book that’s where most people stop most people beg write a book again oh you actually did it like that’s and that’s amazing okay sure write a book on sleepovers and I just did it and after a while I just went door to door to car dealerships and I just I kept going and kept pushing and even when I just wanted to stay home and do whatever watched movies my dad told me that I have a goal and I need to keep pushing to get there and I have I’ve raised $20,000 for that’s crazy so what was your initial goal well my initial goal was first about like three thousand dollars and then and then and then I made it to 5,000 and 10,000 dependent and then I just kept going after that I just I just kept doing it because I love to do it and I got to 15 dozen it was like we’ll just stop 20,000 that’s it and I just want that you got it so tell about the very first time you you sold it was it scary like however it just got like I’m in that’s amazing last year he kind of committed an entrepreneur but prior that was it was other stuff as well right mm-hmm so I didn’t get into like the money like she did you know I kind of got into more of the impact so like my dad said I was like super passionate about baseball I wanted to be the shortstop New York Yankees I was waking up at 5:00 a.m. and this is like seven eight years old I was waking up at 5:00 a.m. and I would work out then I go to school and then I would do my homework and then I go right back into baseball reading all that stuff a lot of passion and I met a lot of different kids and the number one question I asked them for some reason I don’t know why this is still a question asked you know to this day I haven’t just asked the hotel worker that we had but the question is is like what’s your dream job like what’s what’s your dream life and whenever I’d ask kids this question a lot of times I didn’t have an answer like they didn’t know what their dream was I didn’t know what they wanted to accomplish they didn’t have a goal or a vision so I would I started coaching I asked this one kid this question I was like so what do you want to be whenever you’re older and he said that he doesn’t he didn’t know like he was like oh yeah I’m just a kid I don’t know and it shocked me because I always thought that every kid knew exactly where they wanted to be and they were like taking action on it so I started talking to him I started coaching him a little bit for fun and like I coach him for like an hour straight cuz my dad was the middle of speaking it was at an event that I talked to this kid and next thing you know like we came back a little bit later and the mother said that since that one conversation she had way more passion better manners and was working extremely hard towards his goal that I helped him come up with I was like man that’s pretty cool like that’s you know that’s a cool thing so I started talking to some other kids and I wrote my first book at 12 years old started my first real company at 13 and just started crushing on social media and my book was actually like why I went in entrepreneurship it’s because I started promoting my book and everybody was like a 13 year old wrote a book because I turned 13 after the book came out so like a 13 year old wrote the book and so I it kind of just took off from there and I’ve been doing it ever since when I first got started I wasn’t trying to teach people a stuff I was just doing it like I’m so fascinated by it you know and then like I start sharing these people and then a lot you know most unfortunately too many people don’t listen or don’t do anything with it but it was like that one person that takes it and they do something and then they come back and tell you it’s just like oh like that that’s what least for me I’m sure whew that feels you’d like I need more of that like it doesn’t matter how much you read or learn like it’s useless for after a while you know until you like learn how to contribute and you started giving that and that’s like what light you on fire and that’s that’s I think that that that pivot from like from my personal development personal growth to that contribution is fascinating so this is people catch that that’s like when I get in a fire and that’s when it’s like you might contain the world and they so much good stuff happens from that so yeah I wish I had it as early ages you got it you know I had it I had it I mean I had early for most people everyone I remember because I was like I’m probably 21 22 and I started happening and be like oh you’re so yeah I wish I started when I was you know like you and it’s like man I was I give him they’re like how much further how much more could we have helped in any way it’s cool now before Emily and Caleb came to Boise they actually went through my perfect webinar and they went and they created all the slides they put together a webinar and it pre-recorded it what you think was probably important because it wasn’t just a typical webinar inside the webinar they had all sorts of crazy things they were showing off poop emojis and having contests and giveaways and all sorts of just crazy fun things to keep kids engaged and also engaged their parents and so I was really excited about that but I wanted to make sure before I just took that webinar plugged in and I want to make sure I understood who they were targeting were they going after the parents were they going after the kids because having a webinar is great but if you haven’t structured in the right way to convert visitors and viewers into buyers then it’s kind of pointless and doesn’t really help someone to get a good understanding of how they created their webinar who actually watches though do you think the parents are sitting there and the kids are next to them like we get comments all the time of my six year olds next to me my eight year olds next to me like they watch it together like it’s a family experience so to answer your question about the who’s watching the webinar it’s both of them and then who’s gonna have them come it’s like if the kid watches it cuz I have kids follow me and then the kids gonna ask the parent if the parent watch their kids to watch it it’s gonna go so it’s like that that that pool of which when do we go after but they’re kind of both what’s the dropping what would make me pull money out of my pocket it’s not like yes I want my kids to be successful and yes I think that this will help them get there but what’s as a parent what’s more interesting is your guys’s relationship right like like when I was watching snapchats of you guys at the gym together like I want that with my kids like that’s that’s the most important thing it’s not it’s not like I want my kids be success I want to be a champ or a millionaire what I don’t care about that I want I want to be connected with them right that’s that’s the thing that gets me as a dad to want to give money like when you told me the books that your dad read like that was like it had you read I was like okay as a father like this is how I can all my kids progress you get I don’t care my kids are successful I want them to be but like it gives me this connection with them and that’s what make me pull my money out and so I don’t think it was like if the webinar doesn’t talk much about that like that’s okay I don’t need to be tweaked a bit an indoctrination stuff I was thinking like one thing I want to capture when we’re here is it wanna go somewhere branded and film this I want to capture like your guys’s story and your guys a story cuz that’s what’s key in the indoctrination sequence is why should the parent care about this is because of that like the the relationship with their kid strengthening and that bond they’ll get from this process is that’s what’s exciting the extra my kids be successfully internals I want connection with my kids I think how do we bring that up in this process that’s what’s gonna increase conversions and get the parents to show up give the kid the parents pushing it hard is when they when they see this storage with you guys individually with your with your kids cuz that’s that’s the interesting thing I think alright now that I understand exactly who they created webinar for and had a chance to actually watch it it’s really fun it was really unique webinar which was cool but was even more fun as they showed me they’ve done a couple test runs with this and actually had a bunch of parents and kids watch it and I sent me a video clip I showed me a video clip on their phone what one of the parents did after they watch it with their teenagers I thought it was so cool which helped me understand they completely had hit the target with the web class and why he has to see this video that was sent to them by one of their students hey girls are you guys wanting to do this yes that’s quite a bit of money are you guys gonna be committed to something like this oh my god yes so am i either in like three books so is this like saving us allowance for like a really long time where you’re gonna like do laundry or something dishes this is like anything to get money yes so it’s a good thing I read about it for you guys alright so now we know the background work I understand their stories I’ve seen the webinar now it’s where we actually get down to actually start building out the funnel so the first thing I want to share with Emily and Caleb is this strategy guide what is the funnel we’re gonna create but then how does it work what are all the pages and where are we taking somebody through the and the first page of me focusing on in this funnel is a webinar registration page we’re in cool graphics on there it’ll speak to the kids they’re also the appealing for the adult because although we want kids to come to watch it adults are the ones that actually have money now on the registration page what I want to do is I wanna make a really fun video of Emily and Caleb kind of playing around having your time and on this registration page we’re actually giving away a hoverboard on the live webinar and so we want to show them riding around on a hoverboard having some fun and getting people excited about the prize they can win if they show up on the web class with their parents what’s up guys Kayla Maddox here I’m 14 years old and this is Emily Shay and I’m 11 years old and we have something really cool going on we’re doing a show called age is just a number cake this is gonna be an awesome show we’re giving away a free hug award and we’re going to be teaching you that age is just a number that you can live your dream life now whatever you want to be when you grow up you can be now and I wrote a book so I’m living my dream life now and you can too okay so now we create the webinar registration page but when somebody comes and they go and they put their email address into register the next step in the funnel is what we call a thank-you page which basically what we’re gonna do is going to thank them for registering and then do everything in our power to make sure that they show up for the web class that’s happening in the future the more Connection we build with them on the Thank You page the more life they are to show up and the more likely they are to buy the webinar registration page is all about causing entry that makes them want to register whereas the Thank You page is all about building connection so they actually show up I thought it’d be a lot easier to capture this video this one took a long time come here do a serve all right and then you’re gonna come just right up I think just right up next to Caleb on video they’re so good they’re always very posture and very positioned and what I want to do is I want to capture videos they kind of took some that away and made them more real made them more kids telling their actual stories of how they got started a lot of times experts get on camera and they vary and they like to be polished and and and presented all the time and I understand that but for these videos I really want to build connection which means we have to kind of take some of the things away and be vulnerable actually tell our stories the goods that the you know the pros the cons the positives negatives and so we’re going to actually head back to my home we’re gonna film those stories there we’re gonna capture a Caleb’s story then we’re gonna capture Emily’s story and then I wanna capture a story of Matt and Joe telling the story about their kids and the connection they have with them working with them through this process whenever I was younger I my entire goal was to become the shortstop’s New York Yankees like I love baseball my favorite thing on the planet but the problem was I was like one of the youngest kids name one of the shortest and probably the worst kid on my entire team so I went up to my dad and I said dad you know I was like man I want to play a professional baseball but I’m really bad right now I got to step it up I was like what do I have to do he said I can be the best if I want to said I can become a professional but he said before I can do that I have to work so what he did is he sat down with me and he set up three habits that I can do every single day and it was like one was reading one was practicing baseball you know that was I was hitting her fielding when one of them was exercising probably six to seven months after the baseball season all that stuff I got a call to be on the all-star team so I’m from being the worst to become one of the best in all of Florida and he taught me the power of discipline because discipline is choosing between what you want and what you want more so I would say I know that you don’t maybe you want to sit home and watch TV but I know that you want more to play professional baseball and that’s how he pushed me so yes it was hard but my dad was always there to support me if I were just like if I can help one kid have a vision if I get up one kid focus if I get up one kid live their dream life now it would all be worth it and that’s that’s kind of the story of the first the first person that I helped and that feels me every single day it’s that little kids out there and one day he’s gonna be massively successful doing amazing things do you have a sales funnel that’s underperforming or do you know you need a cellphone if you have no idea where to start what to do this huge thing I don’t know if you heard of it rainbow loom and it was everywhere and I I went and everybody thought it was the coolest thing everybody was gathering around this girl and I was like hey I’ll pay for it and she was like no and then and then after I came home I was like way I can make money off of this so I just I went and I got a bunch of rainbow loom my mom helped me make the bracelets and I’m the playground I’d have bracelets all the way up to here and on each arm and I would just be like hey you want a bracelet and then people would give me like five dollars and I’d be like taking them out and by the end of the day they’d all be off my arm and I’d have like 40 or 50 dollars and my pocket money like I like this when I first got my book and I held it into my hand I looked at it and I was like wow I’m an author and I’m so excited to tell all my friends before my book was actually made I had like order forms and I was out there hustling so we tried to car dealership and we just killed it like she was in there for an hour but she talked to like 50 people because there’s all these you know everybody’s in this car dealership make probably on average 100 to 150 per car dealership so that became the target audience and we focused exclusively on those the book I guess just impresses a lot of people my goal for my book was actually to start up my business called Emily sleepover show so I made a goal for three thousand dollars he’s on one of this whole awesome set and I wanted cameras and a Mac and I wanted all this awesome technology and I was like two thousand dollars to cover it I thought that was the most money in the world like oh my gosh I’m gonna be a thousand there that’s awesome one day of sales can bring me up another thousand if I if I go for a certain amount of time and I just kept going and then I in the morning when I counted that I was out there like nine thousand I was like okay ten thousand and I went over again I was at about fifteen thousand and I was like okay twenty thousand dollars that’s a good number and then at when I got when I got there I just I stopped you don’t watch your next funnel it’s so then go to to combo Cup coaching calm hey parents what’s up if you’re seeing this video it’s because you’re either about to watch the show or you’ve already watched the show and we’re super excited to share this whole moment and experience with you and your kids Matt what do you think about this whole experience well first of all it tells me a lot about you as a parent the fact that you took the time to watch this with your kids like my friend mr. Miyagi says oh no such thing as bad student only bad teacher so you know we as parents oh my god I got I got to train him on the mr. Miyagi isms you know Joe that’s why Joe hangs with me so I could show him how to be a better we got this little fan turn going back and forth you know we’re the parents of two super successful kids we hang out all the time but we have fun we do but guys seriously it’s such an incredible experience and if you’ve already if you’ve already watched the show you know for ages just a number but it’s such an incredible experience to hear your kids talk about their dreams share some of the struggles they’re having at one point in the show if you haven’t seen it yet we even talked about some of the obstacles they feel or some of the ways people maybe other adults or other kids make them feel about their dreams and it’s so I opening and you know you may shed a tear or so too but it’s really gonna help your kid realize that anything’s possible now like the world has changed and they can do incredible things just like Emily and Caleb are doing and just like all the stories we share on the show yeah so parents thank you so much you know Joe and I believe in you we believe in your kids we can’t wait to see what happens we do know this because we’ve seen in our own kids life Caleb and Emily man they’re having so much fun because you know why they’ve learned the power of having a positive attitude and also believing in themselves and we as parents could make a huge difference in that by being our kids biggest fans and their biggest cheerleaders and if I can just leave you with this and I always tell parents that come up and ask me you know if you could give me one one thing that helped Caleb or Emily you know it’d be this you know what for every time you correct them tell them ten things they did right just catch them doing right more so hey we love you guys whatever the next step in the process is take that next step you’re gonna be glad that you did and you’re gonna regret it if you don’t we’re looking forward to your kids being a part of the kids for success movement now if we do this right after webinars done then we go to Facebook we start buying some ads there was an example of say we spent a thousand dollars on Facebook ads and depending on the webinar and the market the prices are always going to change let’s just say for this example we spend about $1 per click that means to be a thousand clicks that come to the registration page now of those thousand clicks my goal is to get at least thirty percent of those people to register for the webinar and means three hundred people from this thousand actually registered for the webinar no of those 300 people we need about twenty percent of those people to show up or about sixty people then I know we’re on target to hit our numbers from those 60 people to actually show up to the webinar my goal is to get at least 10 percent of those people to sign up for our program that’s six people and 997 dollars and then from the replay sequence we should double how many people we sell on the live webinar then the goal is for them to be able to put a thousand dollars in the Facebook ads each week and get twelve thousand dollars back out and then we just do that week in and week out every single week until it has a two comma Club now if for some reasons the numbers don’t work when we explain then we split those numbers and see what didn’t work let’s say for example the registration page doesn’t get thirty percent only gets ten percent then we know we need to fix and change the registration page let’s say whether the registration page does get thirty percent but then only two percent are buying on the webinar then we know we need to change the webinar all we do is after we drive some traffic we look at what’s broken we fix it we tweak it we test a couple things and try to get those numbers to work and as soon as we got those numbers to work now we have a funnel the weekend scale all right so now that the funnel is done and all the videos are created now time to start folks is gone and talking about traffic’s gonna take them over to John parks and my team let him meet with them and walk them through exactly how to get traffic into this funnel well this is traffic central welcome so the whole idea with these with these Facebook videos that you’re doing awesome at is that I think we can turn them into like conversions I think we can make money off of them we’ve got one guy from zero followers on his page a brand new page up to 22,000 followers in about 22 days right like just this so this was the one that was doing the best before we got a new winner and this is why you do Facebook live videos all the time like people like to do snapchat and I think snapchat is great but I’m always like do Facebook live is often you just why not right because Facebook live is where you can make money all the videos that are working for you Caleb you’re not sharing content you’re not sharing like how – you’re sharing motivation right those are the ones that are working for you the ones that I’m seeing are working for you and motivation I’m thinking it can be done a lot quicker well how – is like I’ve got to teach you something so I need five minutes to do it all right so now we are at the end of the day and honestly we’re all tired it’s been a long day of strategy and filming videos and building funnels and understanding traffic and all these different pieces and now now I wanted to get back to the part of the day that I am most excited for so we’re gonna take Emily and Caleb back to my home and we’re gonna let them play with my kids for a while we have a good time and then I’m so excited as Emily and Calum agreed to give a special presentation to my kids and some of their friends to help them understand that that for them like age is literally just a number doesn’t matter if you’re 11 years old or if you’re 99 years old you can have success in anything you want in life as long as you understand some core principles you want to write a book you can do if you want to make money you can do it if you want to change the world you can do it and I’m so excited to have Emily and Caleb to speak to my kids and help cast that vision and help change their mindsets they know what’s possible for them in their lives my name’s Emily I’m 11 years old about to be 12 and I really enjoyed sleepovers and I wanted to make money when I was about nine years old so I went to my dad and I asked him I told him I want money so he told me to go start a business he wouldn’t give me any money of course start a business and I’m like okay what about he told me to do what I love and I love sleepovers at the time because girls sleepover parties were who are you learn to like sleepovers all of them so I wrote my own book called the five steps to for a good sleepover and I went door-to-door and I sold my book and I made $20,000 like that was the question I asked myself like what stopped me from I in the book now so I literally went in my room I pulled out the notes on my phone I started typing and within like two to three weeks I didn’t I had my book all done we published it but I made over a hundred thousand dollars from that book but more importantly I’ve impact a lot of people so I’m super excited who’s ready to become successful you guys all ready y’all ready successful I love that you are already successful I don’t from Caleb that you can be successful right now you don’t have to wait into you’re like 18 and you’re actually like in the dole you can actually like a write a story and like Emily go door-to-door selling it and I’m like have thousands of dollars routines I like things that help your goal come like a go sidekick to help someone achieve their goal Caleb and Emily inspired me who are not like give up but like succeed not turn back like give up it was really important that I heard this so I have a motivation to go through what they did so someday I I can be successful too Emily’s only 11 and she like has 20 grand already from selling a book cuz she set her mind to that so now I know I could do what I really want to do if I can set my mind to it and work on my three goals everyday so cool thing is like my kids like I’ve tried to teach my kids to forever I try to read them good books I given books tonight they were taking notes they were listening they were setting goals they were to making commitments like I can’t get my commitments they’re making commitments and it was just a unique experience and it’s exciting for me as a dad because I’m always trying for you like I mean for us like how our kids turnouts kind of like probably the biggest reflection upon success for us as parents and you’re always trying to do things and most time it feels like it’s falling on deaf ears and this experience was cool because we’re able to share it together as a family but then also seen them so excited and doing those things and and actually having desires now it’s like wanna go read a book like you learn what you want a book that that’s not normal and it was amazing so I’m just grateful for Caleb and Emily and I hope that anyone that has children go through this process with them so that you can experience it and you’ll see how it can not only you but and not only them but us as a family all right so it’s been a super fun trip so far and Emily and Caleb had to fly home with their parents and so the last thing one do before they jump on the plane was taken back to the office and give them some bunch of funnel swag or give them hats and t-shirts and backpacks everything we can so they can be true funnel hackers unbelievably continue to amaze us so you can stick things right now that you like all right you just like working with those are deaths we’ve had amazing last two days all right now after Emily and Caleb flew away from Boise like many business partnerships do they decide they didn’t want to continue on the same path and so unfortunately that funnel never actually went live but what’s cool about is they were able to take each of those assets the stories we captured the different things we created and use them in their own specific businesses moving forward now since then Caleb’s been focusing on his new book program called Summa success where every single month kids including my kids get books and Caleb’s right in the mail a chance to read them and they have a chance to learn from now Caleb when he was here in Boise one thing he told me is that when he was a kid his dad would give him success books and every time he would read a success book he has to write a this is where my story started because when I was 10 years old I really wanted a phone and the only way I could get a phone was to sell Girl Scout cookies cuz it was one of their little prized things but based on Girl Scouts generous compensation plan I I only had to get one phone I only had to sell ten billion dollars in Girl Scout cookies in that hopper you reward me with one phone not including my monthly plan so I had what we here in Texas called problem one I didn’t one I didn’t want to work as an employee for Girl Scouts and two I didn’t have any money so I did what any sweet innocent fun-loving all-american ten-year-old girl would do for money I searched my dad gene pockets for some extra cash no no I’m just kidding on our next daddy-daughter day I asked my daddy for some money you know what he said to me he said cashing outside how about that and I said ain’t nobody got time for that so he’s actually he said if you want some money you should start a business so that so I did I was a good idea don’t you think thanks dad oh and while I’m thanking people I’d like to thank mr. Russell Brunson is he’s in the room I’d like thank mr. Bunsen for allowing me on this stage you mr. Brunson a big man class and he’s taught me a lot about marketing and success and I’m really thankful for that and also Kaela Maddox who introduced me to he’s in the back room Kaela Maddox introduced me to roster Brunson so I wouldn’t be here without him Thank You Caleb anyway so that’s what I did I started a business helped little girls have the perfect sleepover to get the word out about my business I wrote a book called the five steps to of horrific sleepover and I went door-to-door selling my book that didn’t happen so I went door-to-door selling my book and in that process I hit every car dealership from Jack from all the way up to Jacksonville Florida all the way almost down to Miami and car dealerships for my target audience by the way but I’ll explain to you what that is some other time and I learned how to pitch and sell and overcome objections I made over $20,000 and thank you and the best part is I got my phone but yeah I know that sounds awesome but the truth was once I got good at it I got tired of getting in the car and driving around all day just to make a quick 800 bucks yeah it was rough you know it was it was in that struggle mr. Brunson why have these these external struggles of getting to my target audience car dealerships and these these internal struggles of of one of wanting to meet my goals but still be a kid and not work all day that as I face this wall in front of me I had right I had what I personally like to call an epiphany seriously people write this down this is good stuff someone should write a book about this hey I realized that the reason I originally spoke to car dealers because it allowed me to speak to more people at one time and I didn’t have to make my dad or my mom drive to a different place for every sale I could go to one place and talk to 30 40 or even 50 people all at one time so it’s that’s why I started doing car dealerships in the first place but I got tired of it so we started thinking what if I could sell online what if there was a way to get my message out there in a way that broke it into a step-by-step process but no it was too much for a kid you know building out web pages and computer code there’s just too much tech stuff you know so but what if someone somewhere made that the training and the technology so easy to use that even a little kid could do it and then I learned about this amazing life-changing technology simplified sales crushing supercalifragilistic expialidocious tool called click funnels [Applause] have you ever heard of it Wow a lot of you shucker geez actually I started using it I was like in love and every time I got to go to work in my pajamas the only thing I could think about was click funnels [Music] [Music] now where was I oh yeah now I no longer have to drive 200 miles to find a part of my target audience that I couldn’t even reach now I’m creating online presentations to help other kids become successful too now I’m a funnel hugger [Applause] now for the remainder of my time I want to show you the three quick things that from my perspective I’ve learned as a funnel hacker and you and your kids will too so the first thing funnel hacking teaches you that you’re not too small for your dreams and your dreams are not too big for you and this year my goal is to help 2,000 kids write a book and start a five-figure company but a lot of people will think oh no that a little kid can’t do that you know that’s too big of a goal and she’s just so small a lot of people think that but I have a story for that so once upon a time my dad and I were driving in the car and he was talking about business and I was kind of zoned out you know thinking he’s like talking talking talking I was like what are you talking about so so and then I heard him say after that the sky’s the limit and I was like literally like looked at I mean man I was like who says the sky’s the limit when there are footprints on the moon he was like thank you but from that I learned like a lot of people in the language that they use they like tell themselves that there are limits there that you have to put limits on them there’s there’s limitations you know once upon a time the ground was the limit but since then we’ve we’ve built airplanes and gotten to the sky rocket ships and gone to the moon and we’re already working on going to Mars so teach you that there’s no limitations this is the 21st century for crying out loud you can do anything you want to do when you put your mind to it so if you’re still living at moon thinking it’s time to shift to Mars thinking or Krypton you know but I don’t know if that exists so now I know I know my role here I’m a walking living breathing metaphor on the stage of the speaking to you about the dreams you’ve allowed to die because you’ve lost faith in yourself I’m a voice and a messenger to notify you that your dream is not dead the best is yet to come you’re not a failure you’re a dreamer on a mission you can I tell you something you’re just one funnel away [Applause] you may have had ads that failed but you’re just one funnel away you know you may have had webinars that didn’t convert but you’re just one funnel away and if a kid can do it the truth is you’re just one fall away this leads me to my next point point number two sometimes you make a funnel but sometimes a funnel makes you like this may be controversial I don’t know if I said that right but but I think that being a funnel hacker is more valuable than a two hundred thousand dollar education to Harvard because I mean how many people go to college and end up living in their parents basement I’m 12 I know this I don’t want to be one of them being a funnel hacker forces you to determine exactly who you want to help and it which means like you’re one funnel way from your purpose being a final hacker also forces you to get clear on exactly how best to help the people you want to help which gives you a clear plan now can someone please show me a college education that does all of the above so don’t just ask me about my grades ask me about my funnel now because sometimes the funnel means sometimes you make a funnel and sometimes the phone makes you which leads me to my third point funnel hacking is not about making funnels it’s about making a difference some people ask is what you’re doing worth dying for but what I want to know is what you’re doing worth living for if your funnel hacker is what you’re doing actually worth achieving how does it make the world a better place my mission is to rescue these kids from what it means to be a normal kid and to help them to know that they don’t have limits anymore that the sky is not the limit and that they can do anything they put their mind to because kids adults whoever you are your dreams you can you can you can make it happen and I’m committing to using my money to support orphaned children and other charities because I believe in making a difference in change in the world but why because donnell hacking is not about computers it’s about contribution and final hacking it’s not about money it’s about movements and missions final hacking your first kid and they’re speaking of funnel hacker live for the first time so guys I’m super excited to be here I want to start off by saying thank you to mr. Russell Brunson himself there’s I like to say uncle Russell Brunson honestly actually I set that on the Facebook god I need to stop saying that because I sit down the Facebook live and someone would comment says oh no reason you’re successful Russell Brunson is your actual uncle like so I’ll stop saying that but okay Russell you’re awesome but seriously guys I’m so humble to be here just meeting you guys connecting it’s been one of the greatest experiences of my life and I’m just super excited to continue to meet you guys and get to share this stage today so guys today you know I’ve been singing over the last couple months as I’ve known that I’m speaking here today I’ve been thinking about what to talk about and it became really clear to me what I should talk about and I’ve been working over the last couple months you know working on my powerpoint getting everything together and I’m very prepared to talk to you guys today about my weird Anish funnel that’s currently helping me have an unbelievable marriage and the coolest part about this is I’m gonna show you how to ethical Enoch it off in just less than 10 minutes I’m just kidding guys that’s not what I’m talking about today I’m not talking about that now the reason I’m not talking about that is for the the main reason is because first of all I’m not married and second of all I have no expertise in the area of marriage and you know when you see a 15 all the first thing that may come your mind is what does he know what he’s talking about and I want to first tell you guys this I don’t share things that I don’t feel like I can talk about I like to share with you guys things that I know that I can actually provide value in your life so guys what I’m gonna talk to you guys today is about the things that I’ve done in the top three biggest secrets to my success so first of all what are some of the things I’ve done well the first thing that one of the most things I’m proud of is I’m the author of four different books the first book I wrote whenever I was 12 years old called keys to success for kids the second book I wrote was how I made $100,000 by 14 years old then I came out with the book just recently called keys to success for kids 2.0 and then one of my favorite books I got to co-author a book with my dad the one and only mathematics which was one of the best experiences of my life I’ve been on national television in front of 8 million people I’ve been privileged to do a TED talk I’ve connected with some of the top entrepreneurs and share the stage with people like Gary Vaynerchuk and Grant Cardone Arnold Schwarzenegger invited me over to his house this week I’m getting to hang out with Jake Paul who’s on Disney Channel most kids watched his knee channel I’m hanging out with the stars but I’m hanging out with him this week and the title of PES I’m going to his house and then the guy in the middle a lot of you guys may not know him actually it was just a random dude who wanted to take a picture with my car so we just took that real quick now I’m just kidding that’s the one only Russell Rustin and I’m so excited to share the stage with him as well as Tony Robbins and the number one person I’m most excited by able to show the stage is my dad mathematics even though I see this in the slides I threw it in last second because guys honestly people always say Caleb you’re only successful because your dad and I don’t have an answer that he honestly is the greatest person on the planet and I met so many different people but he’s made the different biggest difference in my life and I really appreciate that you know yeah clap it up for him can’t wait I’ve also been able to have dozens of viral videos some reaching just like this one I posted a couple weeks ago this one has 5 million views reached 12 million different people and I didn’t even spend a dime on this video it just went there organically I’ve been in Forbes I’ve been in Huffington Post I see we were saying about the clicker I’ve been Huffington Post Inc said that was that this 14 year olds gonna be a millionaire in two years they were kind of off because it’s actually gonna happen this year I was voted I was voted in the top 20 most motivational people in the world I’ve been able to make hundreds of thousands of dollars doing what I love and what I’m most proud of is the people that I’ve been able to impact in the process last week on Facebook alone we reached 10 million people and it’s amazing to see that like these kids right here in this photo as I see this like that’s what I’m most excited about is the messages that I’ve gotten from people literally saying that they were about to kill himself and then they saw one of my videos and that’s really why I’m here so guys I’ve had some success in my life I’ve been able to do some cool things and there’s really three things that I’ve been able to pull from it and I want to share those three things with you guys today is that all right can I share that all right so let’s get into it so what I’m most known for and what people you know I I got stopped a lot in public because you know I’ve had a lot of viral videos the number one thing that people say is oh you’re that work your face off kid because I’m always saying work your face off and I’m always talking my hustle and so people like this is what they know me for but I’m just here in a second that’s not my number one key to success so it’s actually something even deeper but the first key to my success is the fact that I’ve worked my face off you know I was speaking in London and you know I Sydney Australia London up and in Washington DC New York City I’ve been able to go all across the world and I was speaking in London to 1800 people and as I was speaking there I was looking at my Twitter I was you know receiving messages and I got this one tweet from my friend okay you guys are gonna believe this here’s what she said she said I went to school with her my entire life she said Caleb you’re so lucky that you got to go to London and I wanted to reply to her listen I am blessed but I am NOT lucky when you were riding your bike I was writing a book when you were watching a movie I was building a movement when you were posting when you were sending snapchats to your friend I was posting out I was posting content and what people don’t realize is how much work that it actually has taken for me to get where I am today like honestly thank you I appreciate that honestly like if you actually saw our days our team we put in so much work we literally have to force ourselves out out of the office at night like we were go working really hard the other day Cody’s right there he’s our videographer got Risa Rene over there got my dad they all know like literally we were working the other day and we forgot to eat the entire day just because we were getting stuff done but we’re obsessed with work ethic and one of the number-one stories that kind of shows the importance of work I think who’s ever heard of this app called periscope does anybody notice that yeah yeah so periscope is basically this app it’s just like Facebook live where you can like livestream so you’ll you’ll get on you’ll put out content it’s really cool and you get to go out to the world so I remember about two years ago so two years ago at this point I’ve been putting out videos since I was seven years old and I had never I’d never had a viral video up to this point like I had no followers at the time and I remember okay I was thinking to myself man this new app periscope I’m gonna do one periscope next thing you know it’s gonna go super viral and have all these people watch so I go live on periscope and there was one viewer who stayed the entire time and for viewers in total and my first ever periscope I was sitting I was thinking wow I could have literally stepped outside gone outside on the street and talked to more than four people why did I just waste my time with this so I get done I keep putting out periscopes I do them every single day next thing you know I get a message from someone who said hey Caleb I’ve been watching every single periscope you’ve been doing this week I think that it’s amazing what you’re doing my name is Diane Cardone so Diane Cardone is Grant Cardone sister and she told me who knows who’s grant cardone is anybody familiar with him so she said great she said green card she said Grant Cardone is my brother so next thing you know she messaged Grant Cardone so you know they made that entire connection and like literally Grant Cardone shared a couple my videos I started going viral I started having videos that hit millions of views and my life completely changed from there but way too many people in this room they’re doing these periscope and the important part grant cardone the reason he admired me is because I started doing periscopes shown that I was out on the street selling I was out putting out content I was doing all this stuff and there’s so many people in this room who they do Facebook live they do periscopes they put out videos and they have so limited amount of viewers and they get discouraged by it but the fact of the matter is they don’t realize the people that saw that they’re trying to drive traffic to their funnel but they don’t realize one of those visitors could have been someone who works for Allen or works for CNN or someone who can change your career forever and that one periscope I went into it thinking there’s only four viewers but it was Diane Cardona sister changed my life forever and I was only one periscope away same exact way surely one final way I’m a living proof of that you’re only one action away only one connection away only one day away people have quit a week before their blow-up moment and if they would have stayed one week longer their life would have been changed forever it’s so massively important that we stay consistent we keep putting it out there even when there’s those days that we’re discouraged our team we’ve had arguments and we felt disappointed but guys the life that we get to live because we push through it it’s the life that I hope that we all live so that that was me with Grant Cardone we got to connect was a super fun experience I got to go on a show I actually talked to some people they found me out about the they found out about me they’re Grant Cardone that all happened because I stayed for assistant so the second key to my success is I gave my face off and I said to you guys about work your face off right I was telling you guys about how important is work face off and then I mentioned that’s not my number one key to success because honestly it’s not this is the number one key to my success if I could only do one thing and if I could only leave you guys one message it would be this simple thing and that is give in my life out of all the accomplishments and the things that I’ve been able to name off the things that I’m most excited that I was able to do as I’ve been in over fifty three mission strips in my life and I’m not saying that I’m not saying that to be like I’ve benefited through mission trips I’m all about giving look how amazing I am I’m telling you guys that to realize the importance of giving the things that I’ve learned from it like I love seeing uncle Russell and Stu McLaren talking about giving because that to me I’ve met a lot of really successful people I look up to those two now more than like pretty much all of them because now they making money not only they make in their income but they’re also about their impact and that is where it’s really at you realize funnels I love what Emily said or Emily right there you killed it by the way I love it I feel like an old guy at this event now all of a sudden I’m always coming up the young Kayla Maddox now it’s like oh yeah it’s just Kayla very well on stage but but seriously like I love her talking about you know you’re only one front and I’m the importance of giving but it’s so true you really have to be in it for the impact and understand funnels it is about impact and there’s a two comma Club for money but I feel like there’s a sauce to be a two comma Club for people who’ve reached millions of people through funnels because that’s where it’s ads that’s where we’re making a difference and I remember I was having this really bad week I was really disappointed I was feeling kind of down I was just depressed as you could be for I guess being 13 years old at the time and I was making sales calls no sales were going through wasn’t you know my video viewers were low I just felt kind of disappointed and I felt down I was thinking myself watch I do like nothing’s going good so I said you know I’m gonna work harder so I started making more calls I started putting out more things and I said well maybe I’m doing something wrong maybe like my strategies off so I decided okay well maybe I’ll switch up my strategy and I continued still nothing was going good so I said you know what I’m gonna do what my dad’s always told me since I was four years old I’m gonna go give so I went out I found this single mother I gave her a hundred dollar bill the single mother told me Caleb because you gave me this one hundred dollar bill I’m gonna be able to feed my five kids tonight make sure you know my dad and I went to the store we grabbed some sleeping bags we went out to the homeless and we gave to them next thing you know I was thinking well I’m trying to sell coaching calls what’s a kid I know that I can give free coaching calls to to these kids and what’s a kids I can I guess coach for free and make a difference so I called up this kid whose dad had just committed suicide so I called him I tell him and actually no I’m done with him so I gave I like it was it was night I’m sorry I’m laying down on the bed and I’m like man I still don’t feel that much better next thing you know I hear this ting noise okay ting ting can it turns out as a Facebook message so I go I listen to the Facebook message you know this it was this Australian guide he has to saw showing accident he says hi might how would you like to speak with Gary Vaynerchuk I was thinking what like speaking and the reason why this is so powerful is because I literally this has been a goal I’ve written out for a long time one of my goals I wanted to connect with Russell Brunson after I read Don secrets I wrote that down every single day another one was I wanted to speak with Gary Vaynerchuk so next thing you know this guy’s like hey you when it comes to be with Gary Vaynerchuk and I was able to speak to with Gary Vaynerchuk in Sydney Australia in front of like 600 entrepreneurs and in this moment I realized nothing was going good in my life nothing was really working but it was because I gave that made the difference and I came up with this mantra that when nothing is going good for you do something good for somebody else you can win nothing’s going good build funnels I want you to want you to hustle put in the work but if you’re actually not feeling good inside if you actually you’re not feeling fulfilled if you’re having a bad week you’re not getting results figure out a way that you could make a difference in someone’s life like that’s a value I have in my life is I would call a kid every single day and encourage them because the thing that I’m selling I want to be giving in that area and it’s over impact over income every single day impact over income so it’s much more making money that’s why I honestly respect Russell what they’re doing so much they’re all about giving you can see it in his eyes whenever he’s teaching about funnels you can see how he knows that she’s not telling you ways to make money he’s telling you ways to have more time to spend with your wife he’s telling you ways to have more time to spend with your kids he’s telling you ways freedom he’s telling you ways to quit your job and that’s why he’s so passionate about what he does so guys there’s work your face off there’s give your face off and the final key that I want to leave you guys with that’s helping me so much and that is fun or your face off this one guys so I thought I’d be completely transparent I believe in being transparent I had a lot of success early on so I mean as far as like getting known I was very well known I had success viral videos all this different stuff and I still made a lot of money I made a hundreds of thousands I made a hundred thousand dollars at the time and I had I had a good amount of success but if I can go back and if someone asked me what’s your number one regret honestly my number one regret is that I wasn’t obsessed with funnels in the beginning like I did I had viral videos out of seven but I wasn’t like funnels wasn’t my thing so I found out about Russell Brunson I found out about dot-com secrets shout out to Jo Jo lady for getting us that book.com secrets I read all the way through my dad tells me this is your this is like your Bible for business just the way you read he made me read it like five times six times over and over and it taught me about the importance of funnels and I’ll honestly say because I was just talking to someone in the back and they were like you know caleb is this final thing legit like Sheree is it important if you have any hesitations with click funnels with funnels with going all in with it that is what you need to do follows is where it’s at putting it together and so the funnel that I’m doing right now the main one that we’re working on is I just released this new thing called Maddox book club so this is like the main project that we’re on so Maddox book club what it is I mean Donald Trump right what’s his companion his campaign slogan is make America great again that’s what he said so make America great again how do you think we can make America great again I’m sorry I gotta break it to you it’s not going to be through the government it’s not gonna be through the school system it’s not gonna be through sending every kid to Harvard it’s not it’s gonna start with the u.s. it’s gonna start with the kids so what we decided to do is we said what is three things that every single kid needs we realize those three simple things first thing that every single kid needs they need to have unstoppable confidence in people skills you know I’m amazing it feels that I’m able to stand up on stage with confidence and talked off you guys I can have a conversation with any person no matter how much they’re worth how much money they’ve made how much you know how many people know them I’m able to talk to them so we want to give confidence and give that gift to every single Ken second thing is the second thing that we want to give kids is we want them to make $100,000 so we want them to have $100,000 in their bank account and we want them to have this by 18 years old because every single person in this room we have good beliefs about money that’s why we’re at this event people kids in general have bad beliefs about money and we want to give them those good beliefs and the third thing that we’re doing is we want kids out that mindset about giving we want them to understand how important giving is so the way that we’re gonna do this is through Maddox book club and I was thinking to myself okay we want to give these three things what give me these three things in the very beginning we realized it was immersion and it was personal growth it was educating myself it was learning so what we’re doing is we’re literally I’m doing a daily video every single day and I’m sending it to these kids phone texting it and then what else I’m doing is I’m also writing a monthly book and I’m sending it to their house every single month about success about goals about the importance of manners and all the things that every school kid needs and we’re doing this and we created our funnel we put it all together our goal is to have 100,000 kids inside of this book club and we know that the vehicle that we’re gonna just throw is through ClickFunnels™ we’re gonna produce this now there’s two reasons why we want to have 100,000 kids inside the book club number one because imagine a hundred thousand kids getting a daily video for me every single day I can’t wait to see the impacts to make the maximum getting a reading a book every single month and the second reason did you guys do the math in your head on a thousand kids inside the book club so I’ll be making four point seven million dollars a month that’s a pretty good deal right you guys agree who wants to make four point seven million dollars a month so the way that we’re doing this is we decided to do this game show actually Renee on our team she came up with the idea we knew that the perfect webinar that’s where it’s at so we decided okay we’re into the perfect webinar but kids don’t want to really see a webinar that’s not what they’re motivated to do so we decided okay we’re gonna do it through a game show so making it super fun we’re producing it we’re putting it out there it’s literally it’s the perfect webinar in game show forum where they’re playing games they’re laughing we tell funny stories it’s like this entire thing and we’re gonna do that we’re gonna bring it out to the world and that’s my mission right now that’s the current thing that I’m working on so I’m super excited about producing and putting out there but it all is going to be through funnels and funnels is where it’s at so guys I want it in real quick with this one last thing so work your face off give your face off on your face off in this last story I want everyone’s attention is everyone looking at me right now everyone’s in it right raise your hand if you’re in it this last story and then I know I’m almost at time this last story I want you guys to consume this you guys already this is the thing that changed my life forever this is the thing that has taught me the biggest lesson in my life so I produced videos every single day and I realized that the more controversial that you are the more virals the video the more viral the video goes that’s just how it works if you’re controversial people share it they like to write negative stuff and then you get really positive people that love you forever so I decided to do this one video and I wasn’t sure if I should do it and the title was why you were poor now I don’t know about you guys but if you hear 15 year old saying why you are poor it’s gonna get some hate right it’s gonna get some controversy so i sat there I was like okay so I post this video I’m not sure I’m not sure maybe I showed it I said decided no I’m gonna post a video so I go ahead I posted the video within like seven hours the video out a hundred thousand views and to this day the video has 2.5 million views now here’s the cool part everyone hated me everyone criticized me everyone was messaging me and being like you’re awful you’re this you’re that I got the most criticism I’ve ever gotten and I was going through my message this literally probably twelve ones in a row was just you’re awful you’re this you’re that and I got about the thirteenth message and I read this man it’s kind of feeling down like all these people hate me and this guy says Caleb you should just commit suicide that’s what he told me he said you should commit suicide he said this world would be better off if you were just dead and I felt so discouraged I thought I should delete this video if this causes some of the thing I should die maybe this wasn’t the right video to post so I said you know what no no no I’m gonna keep scrolling I’m gonna I’m gonna push this scroll one more message I said I’m gonna read one more message I read one more message and it kind of went like this it was his mother she said hey Caleb so I have my son and this is basically his life he’s super depressed he hates his life gets the worst grades in his class he’s always down he has no friends he has no confidence he has no future and he told me the other day that he’s gonna commit suicide and then she said that she showed him my video and his life changed after seeing that poor video he started watching more and he committed to doing better in school he committed to living a better life he said you know what I’m gonna I’m gonna commit to having more confidence he started naming all these things and here was the kicker she said I want to say thank you because because of you not only as my son not dead but he’s finally alive [Music] I I took this message in and I realized myself Wow how selfish and I if I would have listened to the message before is that this kid would have been dead and way too many times we let our impact we let our criticism and we let our hate get in the way of our impact way too many times we let someone on Facebook not wear the skirt s’pose Aunt Sally might say something get in the way of providing for our friends or for our family we let our criticism we let the scarcity we let the fear get in the way of what our potential truly is and we think wow but what if I do this funnel when it fails do another one do another one because you’re only one funnel away and I want to leave you guys this message don’t listen to what people think about you stay in your lane understand there’s people that are counting on you every time you sell something whatever I do it whenever I do a book club it’s 47 dollars a month I get excited whatever I sell one cuz I made 47 dollars a month but I’m more excited about that kid reading that book we’re excite about that kid seeing that daily video and every time that that funnel works you’re impacting people so don’t let criticism hate fear get in the way realize you’re on all that Ryan realize you’re only one foot away and go after it thank you guys I really appreciate you
